It's good specially Indian dishes. The Puri bhaji is my favorite one which was ordered yesterday, delicious and tasty. Staff are friendly n helping nature
Wow! What an amazing place. Situated in the middle of Al Quoz like a Gem. There is ample parking available outside the restaurant. The hospitality of the staff and the owner itself was like u were at home. Nice selection of vegetables preparations to choose from. Ordered a thali. You can choose 2 vegetable and a dal, that comes with roti right from the griddle to ur plate, papad, some salad along with a green chutney and rice. Food was very comforting without any extra spices or masala. Simple and delicious
The owner even offer some bhendi fry to taste. Later upon finishing the meal they offered complimentary ras malai. The ras malai had a very authentic taste and to my surprise it was made from fresh cow milk with the owner sources everyday by himself. The hygiene of the restaurant is well maintained. Definitely worth trying and worth it. And the best part that its budget friendly only 13 AED for unlimited thali. Now that's a deal.
A colleague of mine recommended this place for takeaway and I must thank her as their dishes are the relatively lesser oilier dishes compared to other surrounding restaurants., be it Alu ghobi, Alu Bhindi,Kadi pakoda ( my personal favorite) or papad ki sabji ( slightly spicy).
The roti i felt could be slightly softer though!
Nonetheless a light on the pocket ( a sabji and 3 roti is 10 bucks) , quick delivery place and a happy tummy is what you get from this place 👍👍
Have been to this place many times, very good North Indian food, almost tastes like home cooked, their thali (platter) is the winner. Also they are one of the few places in Dubai who serves Litti chokha a delicious Bihari dish. They can easily get 5* reviews if they fix their AC and cleanliness.
Limited options however the taste is nice very quick in delivery. The fish thali and the fish fry is lovely . Have ordered a number of times and have never been dissatisfied.👍
Definitely a hidden gem and if you love North Indian culture food, this place is a must.
The chapati were very soft and vegetable curries very tasty. My kids loved the food. We also loved Jalebi and Gujiyas
The staff are very friendly and polite. I will visit again and again.
I always order my lunch from up star although delivery time during lunch is longer but the wait is worth

A hidden gem for some homely flavorful North Indian cuisine.
On the same day I had ordered breakfast Aloo paratha and Methi Paratha. The parathas come with one Jalebi and one Dahi.
They were really light and not oily. That's the best thing.
Later my colleague and I decided to try their Veg. Thali and was fresh, not oily, with flavors and tasted like homely cooked food.
It came along with papad, salad, tamatar chutney, rice, rotis, dal, kadhi, aloo gobi.
Must try. More like a life savior for people in Al Qouz looking for a decent affordable North Indian meal.

Awsome Real Food which makes you feel good after eating it. Soft whole wheat chapati and its hot fresh done. Not like other places serving microwave hot chapati. So visit them.
Have been occasionally eating from there past 2 years and the quality of food has become way too better.
They did put attention on Morning paratha packaging which is custom round packaging and keeps the paratha warm. Think about it, their paratha is not filled in garam masala but they use green chillies and Green Dhaniya with black caraway seeds to make it tasty. The best time is from 07:30 to 09:30 for breakfast and you can always opt for takeaway as it's small sitting area.
Another key point for people from north India or Bihar or purvanchal , UP Star is the only Restraunt which is making Litti(sattu or satua) Chokha on order (minimum 20 pcs of Litti). The taste of real UP comes alive. Their evening snacks of samosa and kachori with Ginger Tea is worth trying to make your tiredness of day go away.

I got to know about this secret hide out eatery from my Taxi driver who was from Lucknow. And boy, wasn't it a divine meal. A vegetarian thali with fresh selection of home made veggies, dal, kadhi pakora, my favourite aloo jeera, karela ki subzi etc. Amazing Dal Tadka and what a great service by young SAIF
Mr Singh at the cashier desk makes you feel you are in UP home🤗🤗🤗🤗Loved it. Feels like India

Very nice food as compared to other hotels. Heart winning staff with excellent service. If you want to try North Indian food, you can visit this place without any hesitation. The place is not that adequate to go with family but you can parcel and enjoy the food at home. You should try their Thali onec, it's testy and affordable. Full rating for rate vs taste.
No fancy place to sit but an extraordinary taste and food for people who treasure taste, good quality and service with smile. Happened to visit this place for some work and ended up here through Zomato for a trial but completely surprised. Must have for amazing food!!
A jewel in the heart of All Quoz. It's a small place but with amazing staff! The food is as North Indian as it can ever get! The Thaali is simple but mind blowing! Rotis are brought to you directly from the Tawa. If you are ever in Al Quoz, don't miss this place!
I went to have just a cup of tea with my friend.. Ended up having a samosa its awsome same as u get in Mumbai streets. Hence I would recommend every 1 to try once
