A basic cafe that sticks to basics. I have tried over 80 shisha cafes but this is my go to place when i want some alone time, very very friendly staff and really quick service. The shisha lasts over 2 hours everytime and have very good moroccan tea and turkish coffee apart from juices.
Dont expect too much go here for good shisha and watching football matches. Nothing too fancy just good quality
I did a quick google search of good shisha locations within Dubai and discovered this on the zomato page. With only one review, I was a bit skeptical, and according to their facebook page, a lot of users have reported the shop has closed down. I decided to take the chance and head there. Its very near Stadium station on the green line, which is convenient for someone who wants to save some money. I had to walk from the station to the big road junction then turn right onto the road side where Al mulla plaza is located. I dont really mind walking, so I enjoyed it. I finally found it , ITS STILL OPEN. The location is a bit dodgy cause its on a construction site. The first thing i noticed was that I was the only foreigner there as the rest were Arabs. I knew right then and there I was in a location where no foreigner ever travels, away from touristic locations. I immediately ordered shisha. (i always go for Grape mint as its usually good and recommended). The waiter spoke broken English, but i could still understand him. I also ordered the Moroccan mint tea as I consider it a MUST HAVE when I smoke shisha. It not only enhances the flavor of the smoke, but its an arab tradition. When i took my first drag, the smoke was quite decent. Flavor very smooth. After the first coal change did the flavor REALLY improve and I got thicker smoke clouds. I was BLOWN AWAY by how long the flavor lasted. It gave a nice buzz as well but not too much, which is always a plus in my book. If the buzz is too strong, its not well prepared. They even give you free water when you sit down. how cool is that??. The mint tea was EXCELLENT. Served in a traditional arabic style tea pot. The mint leaves were present inside the tea. It was not too weak and not TOO strong. I smoked for 3 hours. I would have stayed longer because the smoke was still going and going but I had to leave. The place even had a ps4 for people to play FIFA. This place is HANDS down DEF the best place for shisha in Dubai, and that says a LOT for someone who is very picky with shisha. Not only is the quality superior, but the price is great as well. Only about 25-30dirhams, whereas most touristic places go upward of 60!!. I paid 40 dirhams in total (shisha + tea ). For someone who doesn't mind walking, or someone who wants to REALLY explore Dubai and go away from foreigners in a nice secluded location than this place is a MUST GO TO. Im DEF coming back here. Ismanjon= hats off to you :)
Probably one of the best shishas in Dubai. REALLY fresh shisha. Try the Paan-Mint.
There are private cabins for ladies/families. The coal guys are very attentive.
