I liked that all safety precautions were taken and the place was quite empty on a Saturday so felt safe for us to dine out with the cases rising. We loved their quiche, Tiramisu, Carrot Cake and Caramel Toffee Frapp. The spanish latte was not sweet enough for our taste though.
Tried this place for the first time and fall in love! Freshly baked variety of croissants with butter filling, almond croissants are my favourite now! Newly introduced french toast were so delicious, serving was good for two. Maple syrup and fresh cream was provided but it would be nice if they add banans and more strawberries. The coffee was excellent, rich creamy just as i like! Later on i tried American cheese cake and hands down best cheese cake i have ever tried! The strawberry syrup and crust was really delicious. Must visit cafe, bakery.

We went there for a quick coffee and some snacks. Ordered iced mochaccino, chocolate croissant, blueberry muffin and a pack of 8 macaroons. Liked the muffin - it was a little different from most of the muffins I have had elsewhere as it had a lot of blueberry compote inside but not spread out throughout the muffin. Iced mochaccino was fine with no sugar pre added and the sugar doesn’t easily dissolve in cold coffee so for folks who like their cold coffee a bit sweet, like me, may not thoroughly enjoy it. Their chocolate croissant was regular and macaroons were ok, not exceptional I would say.
Staff was very courteous and I liked the ambience of the place. Overall I liked the experience, however nothing exceptional. Will try their pastries next.
This is a very quaint and homely bakery located in Office Park building ground floor Media City opposite the Cordoba Residences.
The ambience is very cozy with perfect lighting and it's best to visit in the evenings after office hours for a peaceful treat. We ordered Fresh Orange Juice, Molten Chocolate Cake with Ice Cream, and Sugar Doughnut. Everything was so delicious. The staff was very nice and friendly too. One thing that I suggest they change is that big wall graffiti which says beignets... they don't sell it and I had my hopes up 😐
If you're looking for a cup of peaceful coffee after long day at work, head out here...
Very tasty croissants and outstanding quiche. Ordered Butter croissant, Almond croissant and chicken n cheese quiche from here and loved everything esp. the quiche. It was fresh and tasty.

Wow so today I was completely indecisive as to what to order from this bakery so I went all out.I ordered a pizza combo with their supreme pizza,a beverage and vanilla millefeuille(a custard slice?) I also ordered a chocolate cupcake that was on special today and a smoked turkey and emmental baguette AND a strawberry milkshake(eeeeeek I am set with food for the rest of the month).I took a bite of everything and couldn't bare enjoying this all by myself.Cannot wait for hubby to come home to share.Guys I hardly ever give a 5star rating but this deserves it.It is phenomenal!!!If I gain 5 kilos in a month from your delicious goods it will be well worth it!!!
A great place to be in for some peaceful time. Ordered for mushroom melt toasted sandwich with coffee and it was heavenly. Great service by the crew as she was very accommodating and helpful with the menu. I will certainly come back to try their other choices.

Wouldn't recommend it as its nothing like what one would imagine it to be. The caramel does not taste like normal, delicious caramel and the cheesecake frankly was disappointing)
- Milk Shake Chocolat
This is definitely recommended since its not too sweet. Just perfect, plain ol' chocolate milkshake. :)
- Cheese croissant
Made very well, i must say. Crispy and cheesy...just comes apart in one's mouth. Loved it.

Gotta love the ambiance and warmth the staff of this French Bakery has. Besides the food and drinks (shoutout to the Iced Coffees and Frappuccino that they have. Also Smoothies) i always come back because of the staff. You will always feel special and valued. The casual talks whenever they're not busy, and greetings every morning (or afternoon).. A regular hangout place for me. Keep it up guys..
This is my second French bakery review. Well a different outlet, but yet again I like their service. My girlfriend ordered this for me for my birthday as we didn’t have enough time to go out and eat the cake. It arrived promptly, and was well made, strawberry cheesecake, tasted wonderful. I’m a cheesecake lover and although it wasn’t the sort of thickness I’m normally used it, it was great, literally Day 3 of the cake being in the fridge and it still tastes fresh. Once again I advise people to only really go to French bakery for dessert, I’m so tired of people complaining about their food or something.

The service is really good, the pastery and desserts are really good too, although they don't have a big variety for traditional breakfast. Try their croissant and their apple crumble .

Desserts and cakes varieties teases you for sure, we didn't succumb to the temptation,
Ordered a croissant and a sandwich based on the hunger and situation without salivation.
The cheese croissant was in taste decent, flaky and crispy top and not too buttery, in size excellent,
The chicken tzatiki sandwich was well filled with juicy chicken, soft bread, tzatiki surely scarce, not sure if that how it's meant.
Bakery items look appetizing, planning to drop by for breakfast some day,
Overall a decent next door bakery, inviting desserts I shall try next time which are on display.
Visited it for the first time. Very casual place. Nothing out if the ordinary. Ordered an Iced Toffee. It was good. Ambience was good. Was able to relax for a bit. Might go again to check their desserts, which looked amaZing!

It's been about the second time that I bought a birthday cake from here, these people at french bakery know how a macaroon cake is made. The chocolate mixture along with cheesecake foundation and macaroon circumference allows this place to be known as the master of macaroons. TRY IT OUT. JUST FOR THE MACAROONS.
This review is highly biased because I like FB a lot. For a long time now, so when they opened this new branch, I was back enjoying the stuff they have to offer. On the money, their desserts and bakes are assured to win you 'likes' whoever you share em with, I have always ordered these as gifts and won admirers. Easy. Helpful staff, well done FB, keep going.
excellent cheese ciossant with an excellent crust. the turkey and panini sandwich is nice but almost minimal turkey and alottt of cheese which makes it practucally a cheese sandwich. but overall very nice flavor
So you're on the road and there's a lot of traffic. You could stay on the tar and inhale auto fumes...oooorrr you could stop off at the French Bakery!!
The coffee is nice! One of the better Café Viennois I've had. The food's not bad...they have quite the cake array...but ask for what's freshest (they aren't all great)

brilliant atmosphere here, you really think like you're in France, the service is quite fast and prompt, most od their items are fresh and baked on the same day, i tired their Mexican chicken sandwich, Turkish coffee and vanilla sponge cake, all were very tasty. Nice winter place to enjoy nice savory things while sitting outside.
Decent little breakfast spot on Dubai Media City with average food and coffee. Nothing French about it to be honest. I had breakfast with my friends there on a Saturday morning and ordered the 'healthy breakfast' which came with herbed egg whites omelette, mixed salad, fresh cut fruits, fresh OJ and a basket of toast, butter and preserves. The omelette was fluffy and well cooked. They had soy milk so I ordered a side of hot soya for my Americano. All in all it was a great pace to catch up with my friends since it wasn't busy at all. Would I go back again? I don't think so. The city has plenty to offer.
French Bakery has really tasty treats and their cakes are really well made. I eat here a lot and always try new cakes, cupcakes and even ice creams and am pleased with my offer each time.
I take the waffles upstairs with me to the office quite frequently, much to the envious eyes of my colleague on a diet.
I do not have much experience with their food but I can vouch foe their quiche, their mini pizza and their sausage rolls. (some of these are 4 dhs , fret not too much)
This is a relatively new venue and the staff was well trained and very polite from day one. I used to have the combo meals here which are value for money and include beverage, small bag of chips, sandwich of ur choice and cake of ur choice. I ve tried all the sandwiches and cakes and i ve basically ran out of choices! The cakes are ideal for birthdays or visits: tasty (not all though; i usually take the one with three different chocolates) but pricey. I like their macarons when they are fresh. And i love the fact they give u this buttery yammy cookie with ur coffee.

This place was on my 'want to visit' list for quite some time as I'm a dessert lover and I've seen some really really good photos of their pastries. So I finally made it this one day for lunch while I was at university.
I visited this place with a friend and was quite disappointed that they had little or no vegetarian options for lunch. The one sandwich they had on the menu which was vegetarian was not available. My idea of lunch was definitely not of a salad so I chose to fill my stomach with the pastry (and something else from another place duh:p). My friend is a non vegetarian so she picked a sandwich with chicken. She seemed quite happy with it, but most of all we were way beyond happy with the pastry we picked. We ordered a triple chocolate pastry (I think that's what it is called), and it looked beautiful, almost so much that we thought we'd ruin it by taking a bite, haha! But we ended up 'ruining' it which definitely worked well for us as the pastry was delicious. It was as chocolaty as the name claimed, it was moist and as mentioned before well presented.
The service was a little poor as we waited for way too long to get the menu and the bill at the end of our meal.
Overall I wouldn't mind a take out from this place as the food is good, even though the service and the seating area isn't that great.
We went there for tea and cake on a Thursday afternoon. Cafe was half full. There is a nice seating area (two levels, ground and mezzanine). We asked for the cake to be cut in half. It was very nicely served. I'd come again for dessert if in the area. There is a 'so light' menu that is also tempting to try.
Had an iced blended coffee and a chocolate moose with apricot filling. It was delicious! A combination of Sticky n gooey at the centre and smooth n creamy on the outside made it just the perfect treat! A must try :)

I have the fortunate pleasure of working very close to the French Bakery in Media City (Well its really Knowledge Village but it doesnt sound as funky as Media City), and that means I on occassion grab a coffee and croissant for my early morning kick start.
The place itself is very pleasant with a pleasing atmosphere, welcoming staff and an unhurried attitude from everyone.
The range of baked goods are excellent, but the croissant's are the star attraction as they are all cooked fresh on site so if the smell doesnt seduce you the melt-in-mouth goodiness will!
But like most places not everything is perfect.....
As a coffee lover I am very fussy about the quality and taste of my one and only cup of nectar a day, with that in mind when I am served a poor cup of coffee I instantly have a bad day!
The problem with the coffee at The French Bakery is simply, first it is made by untrained Barista's who sadly do not understand the right temperatures and rarely listen or understand a customers specific requests. The other major problem is that when I have a coffee I want to actually taste coffee and not just milk....
On asking the manager I found out that French Bakery use 4 grams of coffee per cup, now this may sound nit picky but my favorite coffee (Coffee Planet) use 7grams a cup.... massive difference!
That said you could use 10 grams but if its cheap coffee whats the point!
Anyway, I do love The French Bakery and maybe next time I should grab my croissant from there and my coffee from Coffee Planet.
One of the best bakeries in Dubai, their cakes are absolutely splendid! French bakery makes the best tiramisu cake I've ever had. The triple chocolate cake is simply excellent because of its richly indulgant taste combining three amazingly delicious types of chocolate. The cheesecakes you get here are also pretty awesome, especially the strawberry cheesecake. Other than that, the cheese and butter croissants available here are baked to perfection so I'd definitely reccomend them as well.
