Good location and really easy to get to, there is a tram (media city) and a metro near by, 5 mins walk. The closest metro which you can see outside the restaurant is Dubai Internet City. A very cozy and comfortable lounge. We went there for their afternoon tea... it was a very cool experience, staff were very friendly and helpful, food was amazingly done and presented. Portions are small but very tasty. You will get a selection of savory and sweet bites along with tea. They had 2 tea options green and earl grey. The space is very welcoming for friends, families and work meeting.

Loved the ambience during lunch.....very vibrant. My daughter loved her pasta and the burger was done to perfection. I had avocado on toast.... it was good but not the best in Dubai. Bread was too small and not toasted so was a bit chewy. Service was excellent. Definitely going back for lunch to try other Italian delicacies that looked awesome and tasted great according to fellow diners.

They have a space with books so you can actually come relax and read a book with a coffee, the mums too coz they are kids friendly & have a play area and trust me the staffs are amazing and super kids friendly so you don’t really have to worry about your kids. <br/>I have tried a number of kids friendly Friday brunch options in and around dubai, but the concept here was unique. You don’t really have to pay a fixed brunch price per person to come and enjoy leaving your kids here. You can come here for just a cup of coffee or breakfast or Lunch , it’s A la carte. Don’t have to worry if you are on diet, they have many healthy options 🎉 Mumpreneurs can specially make use of this space for business meetings over coffee while their kids can be at the Play Area. Good pastas very tasty, flavourful and you’d taste the herbs and spices in it. Their pizzas are good as well. Specially that meaty ones loaded with cheese! Yum!

Go here every week for lunch during work. Food and service is excellent. Large portions and good quality. Complimentary fresh bread is baked on site. Sandwich options can be had with choice of side salads for a quick bite or main meals and pizza can be ordered. Not the cheapest lunch option but you get what you pay for.

Excepltional Service

Sadly, this restaurant did not meet my expectations fully. Although my seafood risotto was cooked to perfection and presented very well, the menu offered a limited choice of dishes (more focus is given to the drinks) and the service was not attentive enough and awfully slow. In fairness, the restaurant was full at the time of my visit but waiting for 25 minutes for your order is not acceptable. And when I finally got my meal, I had to call back the waiter because there was no cutlery in the table and the service staff did not pick this up. As a point of recommendation, I would suggest the restaurant to serve some bread or focaccia to the customers while waiting for their orders. Lots of work needs to be done to improve the service.

I have been here couple of time as the office is located in the same building and it is a convenient for a quick coffee and chat. Having said that, i try to avoid as much as I can. The service is below expectations: every single time, either one item is forgotten or it takes way too long, even when the restaurant is almost empty. I am not counting the time when our entire order was simply not loaded in the system for ordering.<br/>The food (especially daily menu) is blend and expensive.<br/>Unfortunately, this cafe bets everything on the location but I am not sure for how long this will work unless significant changes are brought.

Great place to grab a coffee or have some good Italian food. Tried their Caramel Milk Shake today, which was decent. But their wifi has some serious issues and gets disconnected every now and then.

We waited for 1.5 hours for coffee / breakfast this morning, and had to follow up several several times... we were eventually told not to pay as it was delayed. But when it arrived, the lady called to ask us to pay or send the food back!!!! Is it some joke/prank? We were so confused... and feeling disrespected frankly! We will never ever order from you again... but as a restaurant, you should be ashamed!

One of the most enticing aspects of this place is the interiors. Its a beautiful place and the entire setting is appealing. Well, the food here is enticing too. I have visited cafe Italiano on multiple occasions both with family and friends and I must say every visit has been equally good.<br/><br/>A few dishes that taste heavenly are :<br/><br/>1. Gnocchi: Well, these potato dumplings are delicious and soft when served hot<br/><br/>2. Ravioli: I loved the ravioli pasta, despite the fact that I don't fancy Ricotta cheese in anything, I still loved the pasta here as the formaggi sauce was yum. <br/><br/>3. Napoletana pizza: Yes, this basic humble pizza with a basic tomato sauce and cheese, took me by surprise. I love heaps of pasta sauce that is made from fresh tomatoes on my pizza and this pasta was exactly the way I prefer. Also, it tasted very fresh and that's why I could thoroughly relish my pizza. <br/><br/>I have had the bufalina pizza and formaggi on other occasions, but I am always enticed towards napoletana . Maybe cause the basics have been done right :)<br/><br/>4. Bruschetta: served as a starter and apparently a by product of different flours as the server told us. I am not surprised, given the bread tasted fresh. Also the portion size was decent and the toppings were generous and fresh. Good option for a starter, it was appetising. <br/><br/>By the way, a cuppa here is also a good option if your not in the mood to eat. They have plenty options and I have personally enjoyed the Aromatic cappuccino here and it's one of my repeat orders when I visit this place.

Absolutely loved this place and the food here. <br/>We visited cafe Italiano for lunch and ordered penne pasta with vegetables and chicken, egg toast, protein shake and fruit platter with Greek yogurt. <br/>The ambiance is very appealing and creative. <br/>A must visit.

This is probably one of the few  Italian breakfast option in Dubai. When in Media City, I like to go there and have a delicious cappuccino with croissant the Italian way. THey have a lovely terrace too. Decor is beautiful and such a pity it is dry since woudl be a great place to go and enjoy nice Italian food with a glass of wine. Their pizza is really good

Had a lunch here today and must say that was very impressed by their Christmas menu offering - the chicken broth soup with tiny berf and cheese ravioli was delicious and turkey with potatoes and cranberry sauce was yummy! Both portions are good in size (turkey plate -huge!) while prices are genuinely friendly (unlike their standard menu options: tiny piece of salmon for 105aed, seriously!?). <br/>Not giving 5 points as their version of shakshouka comes with no tomato sauce (what-what?!?!) and they are kinda proud about it. And again, prices...

I tried this cafe for the first time as I was passing by Arenco Tower, nice spot, beautiful decor but the staff are really slow and awkward, definitely non professional in a way you need to remind them the order many times. <br/>My order was quite simple, just a coffee and a pastry but for some reason it took ages to get them. <br/>Used to the Italian coffee, I found the taste quite bad, wondering what kind of Italian coffee they are using or maybe the barista doesn't know how to prepare a real good coffee. <br/>Well next time I will go to Bateel or Cafe Nero or even Starbucks way better service, way better coffee.

this used to be a go to place for Italian.  We hadn't come in over a year.  Furniture and menu both updated.  Menu reflects some more continental as well as Arab items.  Were worried that Italian food taste and quality may have changed as well but not the case.  Had lunch here with a few others today and everything was still delicious.

I usually come here because of convenience and proximity to my work. Their coffee is good. Their food is OK. I have tried their salads off the menu and they are not cheap for the portions they give you. But I usually opt for their daily salads which are usually good. Their breakfast omelette is tasty and the plate is quite big. <br/><br/>Staff are usually very friendly however everything takes a really long time to come out. I had been this to restaurant couple of times. As I am veg I have very limited choice, but still able satisfy my appetite. I ordered veg pasta with tomato sauce and the taste was good and cooked good. No spicy or no salt in it. I had spinach soup and it was perfect. Over all a good restaurant . Thanks for Anna who helped me to choose veg options. Waiters are too quick to respond with a smile on their face. Ambience is good.

I have been to the place twice. On both occasions while coming back from business meetings. The place has beautiful interiors. The service is quick. Food is tasty. I tried their seafood dish of the day. The portion was very small compared to the price. Its a great place for a coffee, breakfast or lunch.

Not many dishes for your choice but select few good ones. Very helpful staff, even ready to prepare certain items that are not listed in the menu. Enjoyed Truffle Pasta made on special request.<br/>

Disappointed,<br/>As a pizza "fan"...<br/>I was in this restaurant a lot of times for businesses lunch or dinner. The pizza was excellent, tasty and light. 6 months ago I wrote my review as well.. Now I tried pizza and the crust is soggy and heavy, topping was ok, but overall absolutely not acceptable. I hope we will again be able to enjoy the real pizza.

If you're coming to Italiano for a quick coffee and breakfast, it's definitely the place. their fagotinos are delicious, as well as their breakfast. The interiors of this restaurant are truly quite beautiful. They really lack in service unfortunately and I almost always end up smelling of olive oil when I leave, it must have something to do with their open kitchen or something. Their bruschetta and burger is quite delicious. I even hear their pizza is good. I dislike their salads, they're not really tasty. Their chicken sandwiches are dry and unappetizing. Even their cheesecake is not to my taste as it's extremely creamy. Even though the things on their menu are a hit and miss, their service is terrible to the point of infuriating at times.

Spino is the best! Overall quality is very good, but management could be improved, a lot. Despite the service is not the best I can get in Dubai, it is still one of my preferred places for pizza and risotti. Thanks

Ordered for my all time favorite English Breakfast.... A good start to the day..... Food is good service is just ok... A lot of Filipino in an italian restaurant... overall good experience.....

Lounge Cafe Italiano is a discovery that was made thanks to our Donelli tasting session. Located at the ground floor of Arenco Tower, the place boasts of an airy, comfy, cozy ambience that is priceless and an absolute gem for when you’re looking for a place to work on some deadlines or grab a quick lunch. I always fall in love with rustic places that really know how to pull it off well whilst still giving the interiors their own identity. This place is actually also a gastropub but it’s done in a very classy way that it is hard to tell so. It’s also a combination of modern minimalist which also makes it an ideal setup for meetings and events. They sell authentic Italian products inside that add to allure of the place besides the fact that about 90% of their staff are Italian too! They have live music every now and then at nights so that’s something I’m yet to check out and very much looking forward to. They have an open kitchen and pastry section where you could select some mouth watering treats and enjoy the freshness of it all! My bruschetta was very much enjoyable as fresh ingredients were evidently used. From the first bite of the tomatoes, it was crunchy and juicy which complimented the combination of it with bread as it crackled. The cheese and olive oil was absolutely delectable with it too. There were also sausages wrapped in puff pastry but served in tidbits which I liked since I usually get overwhelmed if they are any bigger. I also loved my risotto for many reasons. First, it was not soggy or overly creamy. It had that touch of al dente to it as it was supposed to be. That’s risotto done right! And the truffle oil and on top just added a luscious richness to the dish making it taste as good as the simple presentation was. I loved me some cheese so I asked for additional Parmesan cheese on top! The panacotta was wonderful because it tasted very nice and creamy but remained firm and solid in texture and consistency. It remained compact and had what seemed like a layer of geltain at the bottom. The drizzle of chocolate added a nice dimension of sweetness to it as well. I think it’s safe to say that we have found another favorite place to add to our list of hang outs here in Dubai.

The staff are very rude and not well trained. My friends and i went to have lunch today. The girl at the entrance counter seated people who came after us before we sat. I went to her and asked her to seat us but she said there are no places instead of checking or asking us to wait for some time ( she was indifferent and did not apologize.) I negotiated with her to find us a seat yet when we were seated She did not ask anyone to clean the table or hand us the menu, and went to another table of people who were seated after us to take their order. It's either the management does not want university students to dine in or their staff are just rude. Regardless, I'm definitely not coming back and not recommending this place to anyone. <br/>

Just below my office and a great place for business lunches. Nice decor and ambience inside, and weather permitting the outdoor seating is a good option. Ordered the beef lasagna and a drink. Fairly large portions and well presented.<br/>Staff were nice and friendly. Overall a good choice for a decent business lunch

I reckon with this place as a mood-transformer. The place seduces you by its interior and ambiance from the time you enter here. Picking your option from the menu is also easy. Well, I do not like the pizza. They can do it better than this when compared to price we pay here. But they have a few good juice blends as well. I love their Avocado shake. However, during rush hours of lunch, they tend to deliver the order with delay. Shall come again to try their desserts as I could see a lot of good options.

Had baby spinach with grilled shrimps and they are delicious. This is the 3rd time here and each time I enjoyed the meal. Highly recommended for a change.

Been here about 5 times because it's very close to home. The full breakfast is actually the best value breakfast I have had in Dubai. <br/>Generally a good food experience for the price. The tuna mango salad is a winner and the kids meals are a good size also. <br/><br/>I would really like to give 5 stars but the service is almost always terrible. Friendly for sure, but not competent. You have to stalk the waiter every time you want anything. There doesn't seem to be a system at all.

The place itself is nice... The vibe is great... The food is not! Starting from the bad menu design to over priced dishes and way below average drinks... I attended a 5 days course nearby where we took us to the restaurant every single day for the lunch, and to be honest knowing that we have to go this particular restaurant for lunch made me and the rest of the class members (8 members) feel like walking to a living nightmare... Sorry if I'm being harsh... But this restaurant failed in every possible way a restaurant can be!

For dubai its half decent pizza. Service needs to improve, the waiter was just DD. They don't get the concept of starters and mains. Calamari's are good

The freshness of the Avocado along with Pine nuts not only makes up a brilliant salad but it is healthy at the same time. The Balsamic Dressing has vinegar as the main ingredient it adds flavour to the salad. <br/><br/>I loved the Spinach and Ricotta Ravioli with Sage Butter Sauce served as a main course dish. The dish maintains well balanced flavours.<br/><br/>For dessert Chocolate melting cake with stewed Strawberries and Vanilla Ice cream is a definite choice. Truly a Family restaurant with staff that care and go to the extreme to please their guests with fresh wonderful dishes. I highly recommend them to anyone who enjoys tasty exquisite Italian cuisine since whatever is ordered is fresh. By far the best Italian restaurant in Dubai!

Went over for a quick lunch / bite on a busy Wednesday afternoon. The place was quite packed with mostly office goers. Ordered a double espresso and a salad of the day. The presentation was very nice. Ordered the tuna avocado and mango salad. It was yummy and had the right balsamic seasoning/dressing on it. The portion was apt for one person.<br/><br/>Very satisfied. Would definitely recommend to anyone. My colleagues ordered the tiramisu. <br/><br/><br/>Overall very happy.

The restaurant certainly looks very appealing, has what appears to be an authentically Italian menu, and looks like the sort of place that one would go to for a decent pizza or coffee. However, the restaurant is let down by the extremely poor service, poor coffee and inconsistent servings of food. I came for lunch and had to wait 15 minutes to get the attention of the waiter, a further 5 minutes for the waiter to arrive at my table, and then an additional 10 minutes before he came back to ask me again what my order was. Eventually the food (wagyu burger) arrived and it was actually quite nice; although the entire experience was let down by the staff. The coffee was an entirely different story and was certainly not what one would expect from a cafe that seems to owned and operated by Italians. I have attempted to drink a cafe latte from several occasions and it has been extremely poor; the milk was heated too much and became bitter and the coffee seems to have been burnt. Their espressos are extremely bitter which points perhaps to issues with the extraction. The cappuccino was indistinguishable from a flat white and lacked any semblance of crema. It is a shame because they have a very good coffee machine yet the coffees being served do not do it justice. All in all, their pizzas and burgers are nice -- but the combination of bad coffee and bad service is almost a deal-breaker here. Hopefully they address these two issues as the place has potential.

I tried for appetizer the baby spinach salad I liked it, the Sesame and honey coated tuna loin accompanied by Sicilian orange salad drizzled with organic pink grapefruit, and it was something different, Half meter chef special pizza (with bresaola and truffle oil) and i loved it a lot.. full of Italians flavours..<br/><br/>also tried for main course the raviolis with ricotta and spinach butter and sage sauce, it was super yummy .. loved it alot and defiantly will order it again there .. the other main course is the Risotto milanese with saffron, parmesan and gold honestly didn't like it .. maybe i am not a risotto person.. the third main was Mini tuna steak with eggplant in fresh tomato sauce and basil, this was so good..<br/><br/>the dessert was Warm chocolate melting with strawberries and vanilla ice cream, Chocolate and ice cream calzone, it was extremely delicious.
