While coming back from Dubai mall, we felt like having a quite dinner and chose Moti mahal in business bay.. one of my fav places to go when we want to eat Indian food.. ordered veg Javan player which is one of their best dishes. Hot succulent kababs served in sizzling hot tray with onion and green chutney.. in winter this is the best u can have while sitting outdoors.. always serve papad with chutneys as starter.. staff is smiling and always welcoming.. beautiful decor in white makes this place stand out .. for main course they have paneer and veg optics.. nice bread basket to fill u up.. give it a try as they gave great ambiance and prices are very much worth the quality and quantity..
Moti Mahal is a childhood memory delivered to Dubai. I remember when we visited Nagpur, my uncle used to take us there only. For years that tradition continued and we grew to love Moti Mahal. Then a few years ago it opened up in Dubai and we went there. The food was so flavourful even better than the one in Nagpur
Moti Mahal is one of the oldest restaurant chains in India, with a large global presence. In Dubai, its located in Business Bay, in a prominent location with plenty of parking available nearby (though during busy hours parking may be a challenge). During our recent trip to India, we tried their Branch at Ludhiana, India and were floored with the food and service. And that’s why decided to give its Dubai branch a try!

Moti Mahal is always advertised at Bay Avenue food court, so me and my friend decided to try at least 1 out of their 5 must try last Thursday.
The ambience is bright but almost empty during lunch time. We easily find a table on our own.
The server gave us an a la carte menu and pappad with chutney. When we asked him if they have daily special menu. He gave us a leaflet with business lunch offer mainly Thali for AED 35. However, my friend and I decided to stick to our original plan. We ordered their rich and tasty Boneless Murg Makhani with Roti.
The server is kind of intimidating but I loved it that he suggested us to order 1 dish and 2 roti instead of ordering separately because they are so generous that a serving is more than enough for 2.
We finish it off with hot tea before going back to the office otherwise we will be very sleepy full.
You need to try Murgh Malai Tikka!! It is the tastiest and softest have ever had.

One of the restaurants located in the immensely popular Bay Square of Business Bay, Moti Mahal is a household name back in Bombay, and had the pleasure of trying it out here in Dubai.
We are served initially with Pappad with the usual chutneys ( Green and one more I forgot), nothing too out of the world about it.
Main Course we ordered - Murg Lababdar (Pretty much like butter chicken) and Malai Kofta ( tasted more like Kheer) along with Butter Naan
We also ordered Mango Lassi, which given the time of day was a life saver.
Overall, an above average experience, but nothing that most of the places in Dubai don't already offer!
Nice Indian restaurant ! Like their kebabs and Biryani , wouldn’t recommend butter chicken or any gravy. Try their tandoor ka murg , reshmi murg they are tender and bursting with flavour !

The best Indian food I've tasted in Dubai. Their dal makhani with naan reminds me of Delhi. Also, their biryani is a must try ! The dine in ambience and service is good, delivery could be improved and made faster!
I went to Moti Mahal, with my wife yesterday and we found this place very nice, the ambience is good, seating is cosy, Restaurant staff is courteous and attentive to customer. We ordered a soup which was murgh aur Kali mirch ka shorba and chicken tikka chatpata and both of the appetizers were good in terms of taste the seasoning was perfect we also ordered masala papad along with Jal jeera and masala chaach which we really enjoyed
For the main course (since we were craving for lamb), we were suggested by our server, Lamb rara ghost, so we ordered the same, we did enjoy our main course along with garlic butter naan.
I would recommend this place for a casual dining with good food and at very reasonable prices..
We had ordered home delivery on a weekend. And had put in special instructions for each of the dishes. They followed all the instructions to the T. We loved the food and the service. Best Indian food in Dubai. Will be ordering again for sure!

Just visited this Restaurant for a quick dinner last night. It was late at night. Moti Mahal is a restaurant situated in the Business Bay in the Ground Floor of Bay Avenue Executive Towers. This place is good for a Casual Dining. The Restaurant specializes in the Cuisines like Indian And Mughai. It is one of the Finest Restaurant for Indian Cuisine. Table Reservation is Recommended and no alcohol is served at this place. It has outdoor seating available. Moti Mahal is an established eatery in its native country,India. Moti Mahal prepares it's dishes using secret recipes handed down by the lienage of chefs to the Mughal Kings. We ordered for a Vegetable soup to start with. The soup was really nice. After the soup for the main course we ordered for Plain Rotis, Dal Fry and Mix Vegetable and Paneer. All the three were prepared really nice. Loved it. Overall the experience was nice as the climate was too good. Would certainly love to visit this place again.
If you like good quality generic south Asian food at a reasonable price then this is the ideal place to go. The favours and not overpowering and the spices can be tailored to your preference, the curries are balanced and not acidic. The quality of the pulses, grains and rice is superb and the meat / poultry dishes are tender and juicy. The palate is more suited to a western mouth. And the service is prompt and cordial.
Great Indian food. Very delicious. We had mutton rara and butter chicken. Both were amazing. The naans were soft and fluffy as well. Gulab jamun was subtle and soft. The quantity is reasonable and value for money is alright. Staff is friendly and assisting.

We ordered a soup, Murg Kali Mirch Shorba. My husband had throat irritation and this soup somehow made him feel much better. I liked it as well.
For main course we ordered chicken labadar and tandoori rotis. It was delicious.
This is one restaurant which i found to be serving very good Biryani. Among all the other restaurants in Bay Avenue, this stands apart having a good seating option and food varieties. We had ordered their combo option and Chicken Tikka Biryani (on recommendation). And taste of Biryani was liked by all, chicken was finely cooked with right mix of spices.
And yes you need to wait for sometime for your order to be ready.

I have known this restaurant from couple of years now and tried them first with their catering service. It was very well organised and arranged. They have a very nicely done restaurant and they have an amazing outdoor seating (if weather permits)
The restaurant prides itself to be an iconic in tandoor cooking and they have done up their restaurant to trumpet all the celebrities that have eaten at Moti Mahal. I must say very good strategy 😊☺️
For starters I ordered the Bhatti ka murg - this was a super dish had a unique flavour and full of tandoor smokiness.
For mains ordered the Butter Chicken, Rogan Josh with garlic naan - very flavourful curry, felt like a slow cooked dish.
Service was good and very attentive. Prices are exceptionally good considering that it is located in one of the uptown areas of Dubai.
I will definitely visit again.

A all day open, superb menu with fantastic decor. Bright colors catches your eye and get accompanied with fancy crockeries. Simple yet perfect.
Their soup become my favourite specially both the chicken options and dont forget to get it accompanied with stiff semolina breads.
Must mention the friendliness offered by manager upon every visit.
I tried their machhi haryali, which is fish smeared in mint sauce and baked in a clay oven. It tatsed delicious. The fish was well baked and the mint flavour had seeped in fine. The service was quick and the pricing is average.
After a masti evening with friends , wanted to have a Indian cuisine dinner. Went to Moti mahal.

this is one of more convenient places to be at since it has a larger dining / sitting area.
you can always have 3-4 clients with you and enjoy the food, the typical bollywood music makes you feel home.

If you are not very familiar with Business Bay area, it is a very difficult place to find especially google maps take you around the place but one exit and you miss it completely.

For starters ordered the Bhatti ka murg - this was a super dish had a unique flavour and full of tandoor smokiness. for mains ordered the rara gosht along with missi roti - very flavourful curry, felt like a slow cooked dish and dum hyderabadi gosht biryani which was a total let down. My take on biryani lies in the actual dum method. Please restaurant's take note: clear the way you write your menu - mutton curry on the bottom and top it off with boiled coloured rice is not biryani and absolutely not DUM. Period.

Been Born and bought up in Punjabi family we grew up eating two famous dishes butter chicken and Dal makhani with butter nan.When it comes to butter chicken i preferred it with bone as it's an add on flavour to the dish. Many ppl serve these famous dishes in mostly all restaurant these days,But it's an immense pleasure to have it here in Moti mahal, the chain started by a man who invented Butter chicken and Dal makahni.

Amazing Butter chicken and fantastic dal makhni from Moti Mahal. This was our lunch menu today. The delivery was fast and thanks to zomato treats we got free gulab jamuns which were delicious. The rotis were good but the chur chur parantha was not so great. Would love to go here someday.

My craving for biriyani led to this place as I was zomatoing a place that's located in the area in and around my office.
Moti Mahal is located in the ground level of Executive Towers at Bay Avenue, Business Bay.
I landed here one weekend afternoon along with a friend to satiate my biriyani cravings. The white and orange decir is just pretty. A photo pillar with few pics of the famous people who visited moti Mahal and so one.
We were served complimentary papad along with mint chutney.
Settled in for a portion Murgh malai tikka for starters and Hyderabadi Gosht biriyani. Malai Tikka was Uber soft, melt in the mouth tasted perfect with the mint chutney. The marination of the meat was on point, became my instant favorite.
Biriyani was yet again a winner. Both quality and quantity Wise it was good. The level of spice was moderate, the portions were too good could be easily shared by two people.
We were too full for desserts,hence settled in for a cup of tea and hot chocolate.
Service is very good, pretty fast too.
We were billed around AED 80, which is completely justified.

There used to be a moti mahal back in abu dhai, maybe 4-5yrs ago which had one of the best Indian food at affordable prices. Going by the name, I tried this place. Ordered some romalis with rogan ghost, rasmali and gulad jamun. The roti was nice; soft as expected. The gosht was sweet, which was a bit of a let down - I guess there was too much cream in it. The dessert was good. Would I want to go back there? Hmm.. maybe - but just to try the other dishes.
Located in the executive Tower nearby business bay metro station near khalifa street. This restaurant serves good quality of food and grills. We had a dinner party here and the staff was so cooperative as the kids were absolutely notorious but they managed to serve us both the good food and the good service..

Moti Mahal is an Indian food gem located in Bay Avenue Business Bay. One of the first restaurants to open here in this area.
It's like an heritage restaurant from Rajasthan and Mumbai. You'll love their parathas especially churi and aloo ones. Their biryani is sumptuous and the chaach adds to the meal. Don't forget to have the dessert.

Tried this North Indian place in Business Bay. It was empty so finding a table of choice was not a problem. Ordered panner tikka and chicken tikka for starters. Daal Makhani and Kadhai paneer with butter naan and laccha prantha for mains. Food is good. Service is not something to vouch for.

Went there twice in two days ! ! = highly recommended if you're a North Indian and you have the ability to judge a place by its mint chutney.
Try the chicken tikka masala, in fact, any chicken dish. Succulent, juicy, tender, boneless chicken pieces to die for! 👌🏼

Let me begin the review by saying an under rated Indian restaurant.
Based on one of colleagues recommendation we thought of trying the food. Very welcoming and good staff. I was very pleased. I was really amazed to see the plate. One of its kind for UAE. Enough... let's come to the food, we thought of trying the basic, Fish Tikka for starter, Chicken Tikka Masala and Dal Makani for main course along with Tandoor Roti.
Fish tikka was very tasty, the fish was well marinated and perfectly cooked. We got a little odd smell of fish but it was stale. The main course was perfect and chicken being juice and perfectly cooked.
Over all we loved the food including my kid. We couldn't leave the place without having the desert so we ordered Gulab Jamun which was a bit disappointing as it looked like re heated in microwave.
The only sad thing was a huge projector which was playing cricket match was a bit of annoyance, but cricket lovers will never be disappointed.
A hugely popular restaurant in Delhi, it was only meet that we visit their Dubai offering. The service here was great ... helpful staff, who ensured we were looked after. We opted for vegetarian food, and weren't hugely wowed by the food although we weren't let down either. Especially noteworthy for us was their paneer tikka masala.
I've been here a few times now, although mostly to grab food to take home with me. The service is quick and all the food I've ordered so far has been very tasty, really rich flavors and aromas.
The include a little spicy onion portion as well which is really good if you want a little heat added to your dish.
I have been to this restaurant several times and never been disappointed. It is a branch of the original Moti Mahal restaurant from India. The food is really good and the butter chicken is their specialty I must say. The accompaniments with Food (green chutney) is something I would recommend trying.Their kebabs are well marinated. The only drawback is the quantity of color they put in their curries which could be unhealthy. Overall great place to eat with nice outdoor seating in the winters. Highly recommended
Its a famous indian restaurant chain. They serve authentic Indian food and have a vast menu. Their til wale aalu, Chicken lababdar, dal makhni and mutton roganjosh are unmatchable.
The only thing they do not offer online order service so you have to call them everytime for the order.. but anything for the sake of good food:-)
