Excellent non veg thaali, biriyani and Kabab meal.. Had a wonderful iftar in Ramadan with colleagues here and an awesome team lunch after Eid ul Fitr.
Cheap and cheerful. Been here multiple times. Loved their dahi bhala. Methay gol gappay. Seekh kebab single serving serves and good portion. Even their pakoras are really yummy!!
Their Tandoori chicken , poori combo was amazing, and something really surprised me was the taste of their PEPSI drink, this drink is supposed to be same taste everywhere but this outlet is selling the Pepsi which i liked the most

Ordered many times from this outlet and it’s always been really yummy . Presentation leaves something to be desired but if you are a fan of butter chicken, can recommend this place.
Though I'm not a big fan of Indian mall food, we somehow ended up ordering from here being the carnivores that we are.
The service took some time being a weekend evening. I think we got the Kebab Guldasta with rotis and batura, but I can honestly say this is one of the better Shamiana outlets out there. The food was surprisingly cooked well, and the batura made for an excellent accompaniment to the kebabs.
I never knew I'd say this but I could definitely recommend this Shamiana, though I don't know how it will fare now since my experience is a few months old.
Food is good, service is good too. Had problem in the past but the concerned personnel not just resolved it but it’s been great since then. Mutton biryani is my favorite.

I have been quite a few times in its branch in Ibn Battuta and Dubai Mall. I love the chole batura and samosa. Its good if you are fond of street foods.
We have seen multiple outlets of this joint from time to time, but never have tried. Located in the found count of the mall they have combo options predominantly.
We selected the Malai Tikka and Seekh Combos with Naan, And after fifteen minutes received our Kebabs freshly done along with the Naan which was hot and fresh.
At least they don't grill frozen packaged foods and I believe their preparations are done on fresh meats and done when placed the order. There fore we found it decent and worth another try in future as well.
Great place to dine in or take aways.... serving indian veg n non-veg....my fav is paneer roll n punjabi samosa apart frm veg thali.... their aloo-gobi is gr8
I had their unique recipe "Spinach-Cheese-Corn Tikki" and I just loved it. It's a vegetarian snacks menu with delicious taste, absolutely filling and a great value for money. I highly recommend this to everyone to try at least once.

I made an order from zomato around 11 pm for 1 veg combo and 1 non veg combo with customised option of choosing the dish so I opted for : 1) Daily special Veg , 1 ) Paneer tikka masala for veg combo meal and 1) Butter Chicken 2) Chicken tikka masala for he other non veg combo.
Due to some incorrect menu update by both the sides from zomato as well as the restaurant I got delivered with Palak Paneer instead of paneer tikka masala and Methi chicken instead of chicken tikka masala.
I made the complaint on zomato chat support for the same and within minutes I received a call from the restaurant asking for the issue ,I reported the same to the restaurant and god bless this restaurant they were so kind they offered me same meal without any charge but due to late night I refused their offer.
To my utter surprise Mr. Riddham (the restaurant representative) suggested me to try the same dinner for the next day without any charge.This time I couldn't say no for his kind behaviour.
I received the order next day with the same items I asked for and loved it.

Shamiana is one of the average Indian food joints in Dubai. Tried their Chicken tikka biryani and prawns biryani on different occassions and both were great. Perfectly spicy and yummy. Also ordered butter chicken and naan but the butter chicken was disappointing. It was not even mildly spicy and too sweet for my taste. I would visit them again for their biryani & tandoori delicacies although the menu could be more extensive..
Shamiana is best Indian restaurant..yesterday I try kabab guldasta in ibn shamiana, it's really amazing very fresh and juicy grilled chicken....compare to other shamiana branch...this branch is best.....
It's a good place to eat during the lunch break if you work nearby. portions are big, so it's great value for money. Vegetarian options are also available - a plus for some of my colleagues.
Best to have is the mutton cutlet and corn spinach tikki with the pudina chutney. A better option for mid day snacks than lunch / dinner . Other options offered are regular from other Indian restaurants .
Food Court food again after the movie , tried chole bhatura , somasa chaat and Paneer Kathi roll. Chole Bhature was average ( I still prefer Bikanwerwala) , although the Somasa chaat and Kathi roll were very good.
i have being to there ibn buttuta mall . i was looking for some veg food.
i had ordered pav bhaji and chole bhature. chole was yuck it tasted as if they are made over night and didnt had any taste .
pav bhaji was very nice even on pav thy had gralic powder which made more nice n tasted great.

Great samosas and vegetarian combo...so much to hog on to ...vegetarian biryani is also good with raita....mango lassi is refreshing in the summers
Being a indian i must say this place serves very average food in the location. We tried tandoori, rice and biriyani. Taste was pretty average. Service and ambiance is just ok.
Recommendable for a try.

One of the most underrated Indian cuisine jn uAE. The food is amazing, i ordered the butter chicken, vegetable Biryani and the tandoori chicken. All were amazing. I also ordered my favorite the Samosas. They were great too.
Service is something they will have to work on.
Chicken tikka biryani good taste but very less quantity not even good for one person.raita was good but portion is a issue .busy Friday lunch took so much of time
I love Shamiana when its available as an option in Mall Food courts filled with unhealthy fast food. Decent Indian food served in value for money combos. The Ibn Batuta Mall service and food was very good. Good quantities even in a combo meal.
I loved the Mango Lassi which was available as a special of the day. Very fresh and tasty. The variety overall is worth it and filling for a small family like us with limited appetites.
The whole bhatura... The thali veg.... Both have value for money... I was like full to the core but the thali wasn't getting over.... Real Punjabi chole...
Guys ..if you wanna have great non vegeterian combo thali then this is the place to be.I loved their butter chicken..It was so north Indian taste which I was looking for so long.
This is my most visited restaurant in the Ibn Batuta mall. Good Mughlai food at a reasonable price. Love their butter chicken, chicken tikka and Masala Chai. Their portions are very good too.

Whenever I am in Ibn Batutta I always make sure to grab a cup of Shamianas freshly squeezed orange juice. Its not only fresh but refreshing and naturally sweet. Its so so good and only 10AED.
