I loved the pie so much the only thing I didn’t like is they added cumin or something to the chicken but loved the size and the taste so much

It takes a while for me to make sure that a restaurant deserves to get a 5 star but @alsukaria was one such restaurant where I didn’t have any second thoughts in its rating the major reason was everything was just on point and perfectly done ...be it the grape mint sheesha ... the juicy yummylicious mix platter with its authentic taste ... the Egyptian cuisine magic was brought to our table in the form of the best meat and the pasta was literally mindblowing . A must try is the healthy cocktails and the all time favorite desserts including the kunafa . To every food lovers this is an amazing place especially in the chilled weather in this part of the earth and the mesmerizing view of the marina . I literally fell in love with this place 😍
A perfect place to dine in and enjoy the beautiful lake with sheesha and egyptian food, gives a perfect look in this climate. Staffs are kind and helpful enough to advice you the best of them . Pasta served was tottaly yum😋

From food, to service,’to ambiance, everything was good.
Since I am very familiar with egyptian cuisine, I decided to stick to some basics to check the authentic flavors. And I am so glad I did that. On our table we had special al sukaria grill, which had mix of meats and a side of hawawshi.
Massive portion, every dirham is worth it.
Second we had a fatayer and a koshari. Both were amazing! We also had a platter of cold mezze, soooo goood!
Ended with cream kunafa which just blew me away. I mean perfect crisp on top, warm cream oozing out. Amazing!!!
All that with a Shisha so it doubled the joy.

Its a hidden gem in marina sheebani tower. Great food with beautiful ambience and service. Their dips hummus, tahina and garluc all were superb. The best mousakka i had was from here. The mixed grill was perfect. Loved the avocado and banana shake. Kunafa with cream was crisp and yummm. A must try place in marina for yummy food and great ambience.

I personally eat here often especially when I want good Arabic food and a shisha. Try the Kofta as it's my personal favorite along with the mix grill which is the best in the Marina.
The top level mixed grill includes more food options than the normal mixed grill and has a bit better presentation if that's what you're into, but it'll cost a little more.
I haven't tried all the dishes, but will try a few things I haven't tried before when they have their specials.
We also use them regularly when we have guests on board our yachts and they need catering.
Can get a bit crowded during football matches, but lots of room outside. If you need to sit inside during a match, it's best to go early or try to reserve a table (not sure if that's even an option though...).
All in all, great Egyptian Arabic food and good service as well.

Great location and atmosphere, the food is delicious, the staff is polite and friendly, I would strongly recommend it for enjoying chilling time with family and friends.
I liked the so much food especially my favorite dishes Molokhiya & mix grill. the place is very nice & cozy, staff are friendly and helpful... also their shisha is amazing and we ordered juices it was fresh & tasty. i really recommend this place.

Delivery was quick, the mixed grill was hot and tasty and the prices were quite reasonable.
The service was good as well where they called for feedback, the manager was very polite. Overall a pleasant experience, I'll order from here again.

Wow..finally one of the best Egyptian cuisine restaurants , Service , food taste and cleanliness is impressive. There is no such as moms food but they are very close :)
The food (fattoush salad and moussaka) was very tasty. The portion had a good size too. The Egyptian bread was very fresh. The only reason why I put 4 not 5 stars is because the delivery packing of the moussaka was not really good: it should have a cover, not only foil as the content started to come out during the delivery. Otherwise, highly recommended.
Well I have never really visited Egypt but after dining in this restaurant, I would love to visit Egypt as this place transports you to the world of Egypt where you have Egyptian artifacts and famous celebrities’ pictures hung on the wall and the interior is done so beautifully that you would simply be mesmerized with such a location, the food was also really good. Right from their soft crispy falafels to their nonveg grill where the meat was served in skewers, everything was perfectly cooked and their Egyptian plate with rice and chicken cooked in the Egyptian style stole the show for me. It was quite a good experience.
This is by the far the best Egyptian restaurant in Dubai. There was an issue regarding the previous order and Manager Mr. Mohamed has made sure to send an order that has left me amazed. Please try their molokheia, Fatta and mumbar they’ll leave you at awe!Best management and food quality. Lovely place in Marina that serves some spectacular Arabic Food.
Ambience - The ambience is outstanding. Over looking the Marina Yachts it's very pleasing. In this weather it is just perfect.
Food.
We ordered the following items.
Chicken Mexican Fatayer
Lovely fatayer filled with cheese lots of chicken and mixed veggies. It's quite huge and can be easily shared by 3.
Al Sukaria Mix Grill - It has the following grills.
Kebabs kofta
Lamb chop
Sheesh Touk
Hwawshi
All the grills are served on a hot mini griller and stay hot. They were all delicious and the marination was great.
Molokhia with Chicken
Loved the rice that is served with a green sauce for the dressing and grill chicken with garlic sauce. It is quite a big dish and can be easily shared.
It also has small rolls stuffed with Rice which was quite flavorful and a nice dish.
Fruits and Yoghurt Shake
Thick shake with fruits and Yoghurt Grinded together. Supreme quality.
Orange mint sheesha was good.
Service - We were well taken for by Mohammad the host. He was warm and friendly and suggested the best of everything.

This is perhaps my first review on Zomato, but this place deserves it. It may look like an average neighborhood restaurant, but Al Sukaria is anything but! it is indeed my favorite place in town.
Whether you are looking for homey Egyptian food, or just want to chill out with your friends while smoking some shisha and listening to oriental live music, this must be the place you are looking for.
As a frequent customer, I can easily notice the continuous development of this restaurant, big thanks to AlSukaria Management for all their efforts.
I highly recommend this place to everyone, it is really worth a try.
This lovely Egyptian restaurant was a long due visit. I've tried over 300 restaurants in the past two years, but always wanted to try Egyptian cuisine.
Visited for lunch on Saturday and were welcomed with some good shisha to start with, them being Grape Mint and Blueberry flavor. Although it was good, an hour down the line, it was very rough on the throat.
We had some beautiful dishes on the table starting from Hummus and Garlic Sauce with bread to Mixed Grill & Bassbousa. What a lovely variety of dishes!
For drinks, we had Mango Juice & Cocktail Juice.
Great service and staff. Will surely visit again.
Visited this Egyptian restaurant with a friend and really enjoyed ourselves . The manager MR. George was really welcoming and friendly. Our order- mixed platter , penne arabiatta, khubz and hummus, fries, rice, orange juice, salad, Shisha. Starting with the mixed platter, it was well presented and absolutely delicious! The hummus was very tasty too. The penne arabiatta was yummy but it did have a strong tomato flavor which made the dish rather sour. We didn’t enjoy the salad cause it tasted quite old and stale. For drinks we had orange juice, it was orange flavored tang but nevertheless it was really good. The shisha was absolutely brilliant! The flavors were smooth and lasted a very long time. The guy who changed the coal was very efficient. The ambience was really nice. It’s a great place to visit if you want that authentic Egyptian dining experience. Overall really enjoyed the food and the ambience except for the salad and the penne arabiatta.

Coming from the mouth of a vegetarian, I can safely say this place is a must try. My first ever Egyptian cuisine, an experience I thoroughly enjoyed.
Al Sukaria is an Egyptian- Middle eastern cuisine speciality place that derives its name from a famous Egyptian personality. Their interiors are stunning in terms if authenticity and truly reflect the Egyptian heritage, as one can see the detailing in the paintings, windows, and overall decor. The place is spacious both indoors and outdoors and can hold close to 200 guests at a time. The servers are super friendly and our server Mahmood took great care of us while we dined here.
To begin with we placed an order for lentil soup, fattous, baba ghanouj, hummus, mixed cheese fetter, egyptian rice and moroccan tea to end the meal
The baba ghanooj and fattoush won my heart by niles in terms of taste and freshness and the egyptian rice was a nice addition too. The fetter was super cheesy and a single slice is enough to keep the stomach half full. The portion sizes are apt and the presentation quiet authentic.
The moroccan tea was served in a beautiful traditional crockery and was the perfect way to end a hearty meal.
The owner took great care of us too by checking on our needs and how our experience is and if he could something to make it better. The passion truly reflects in the hospitality and I am sure to visit this place very soon.
The restaurant is located in Dubai Marina against the backdrop of the stunning panoramic views of the waterfront, overlooking the buzzing Dubai Marina. Other than serving finger licking authentic Egyptian food, this restaurant has helpful staff (who advise you on what’s the best to order) and shisha options as well. You can choose to eat outside facing the lovely view or inside enjoying a movie.

A great place located behind Al Sheebani Building overlooking the Dubai Marina Promenade. The view from the restaurant is just amazing, especially during the winters.
I am a regular at this place and have been visiting Al Sukaria for well over 2 years now. It's more like a second home to me at this point as I m there at least twice-thrice a week.
The food is ok to good. the traditional Egyptian dishes are really flavourful. The kinds of pasta are also good but can better, they always tend to be lacking the right amount of sauce. Apart from that the one thing the restaurant needs on its menu is Falafel throughout the day and falafel sandwiches and wraps the younger crowd.
The shisha is mind-blowing, its smooth and flavors are also handled well. being a regular I have known the staff for over 2 years now and they are really friendly and respond to all your needs. I am really thankful to the staff naming Ali, Ahmed and Taimur just a few who have been very kind to me throughout these years.
Also, last but not the least, if you are a football fan you have to visit the restaurant during all major matches, the atmosphere is great.
I have seen the restaurant grow over the years since it started and I wish the management and staff luck for future endeavors. And please work on getting the FALAFEL dishes back...

Located behind Al Sheebani Building overlooking the Dubai Marina Promenade is the Al Sukaria Restaurant and cafe that is Egyptian at heart and offers meals core to Egyptian cuisine. I was invited to try the menu, visit the place and check the unique food options available at the cafe.
Drinks :
We ordered the Apple Cider with cinnamon typically served hot with big cinnamon sticks and served in a tall glass, it also works as an appetizer.
Gezeira which is named after a famous Egyptian movie Al - Gezeira. I would like to call this a healthy green shake as the ingredients could make any healthy shake fan weak in the knees :)
Salads: An oriental Egyptian salad, a simple salad made with onions, tomatoes, cucumber, parsley mixed with lemon and vinegar.
Tabbouleh Salad made mostly of finely chopped parsley, onions, tomatoes, mint, and couscous, seasoned with olive oil, lemon juice, salt and hints of garlic.
Tahina tastes like the hummus with the consistency similar to that of a sauce.
Appetizer
Mombar a traditional Egyptian dish that looks like a bunch of freshly made meat sausages but when you look at it closely it is rice with some mixture of spices stuffed in sheep intestines and deep fried in oil.
Hummus chickpeas, tahini, olive oil and garlic ground together to a paste.
Mains:
A Shoaaya Grill which basically is a mixed grill served on charcoal with Hawawshi (which is bread stuffed with meat, similar to arayes) Koftas, Kebabs, Sheek taouk and Lamp Chops. A mixed grill is very common in restaurants serving middle eastern cuisine but the spices that are used for the marination are usually different hence the flavor of the meat differs. The meat was very tender, juicy and rich in flavor. Recommended.
Molokheyya Tajine with chicken is Egyptian comfort food which is typically served with meat or chicken and Egyptian rice. The Molokheya leaves are cooked in a chicken stock after which garlic is fried in olive oil and added on the molokkheya before it is served. One of the best I have tasted till date. A Must and totally recommend it.
Desserts:
Kunafa typical to middle eastern cuisine we had the kunafa with honey & fresh cream garnished with pistachio.
Lunch Box: Al Sukaria offers Home meals in 5 options that include a salad, soup, main course, appetizers and a dessert along with a Pepsi for each meal box just for 39 DHS . I tried one of the options, the main course dish was Oakra with lamb.Good quantity and quality hence, it's a perfect option if you wish to try Egyptian lunch.
Overall a great place to have a meal.Amidst friendly staff ,live music and cool water of the canal in Marina.
