I am a regular customer of yummy. Quality of food was really awesome before.. but now it become worst. Today i have ordered parotta with chicken roast. I should not say its chicken roast. Its tomato chutney with chicken honestly.. its horrible. Full of onions and tomatoes. Tasted exactly like tomato chutney. The chicken’s smell is 🤮🤮 .. we are unable to have it.. Yummy , please improve your quality.. please do not cheat us .. Highly disappointed

I ordered food thru Zomato and this is the first time I was terribly disappointed. Manchow soup was clear soup with little vegies and pieces of chicken swimming here and there. Pathetic taste. Instead of soya sauce & vinegar (which is the most common chinese sauces) they had send ketchup. I Even called the restaurant to inform the manager but there was no firm response/acknowledgement from the other side. extremely unpleasant experience. If #zomato had ‘0’ for rating I would have given that. Absolutely worthless food, customer service & restaurant

Didn't like the food, previously I have visited so many times quite sometime back and they used to serve awesome food, now the taste is not the same. Parotta I will not order again, egg masala was full of garam masala only. Egg noodles ufff no comments I think maggie will be better. I think enough !!!. Why u don't maintain the taste?

Been here a lot of times, as i used to live in the next building, a decent place, nothing outstanding nothing bad. As its tamil based cusine, it may not end up as everyone cup of tea, all dishes will be different from expect...but...the Fried Rice and Gobi Manchurian from here is always a killer dish, never fails to satisfy us, been here, and ordered a lot it is a favorite among us. a word of warning, expect a few delays incase u are ordering on a weekend

Went in recently to see how the food taste now. There are certainly a lots of improvements seen since i visited last time. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is better than before.. Food quality is better for sure than before.. There are still two things to be made note off.. The gravy they give for briyani is still watery and not consistent, it is something that they need to address for sure.. There is no delivery that is being done yet as they had some reasons of staff not available. Note, this am hearing for the past 2 months already now. Also food items like Naan, Roti are not available before 7 in the evening.

I would surely not going to recommend anyone for this restaurant. Reasons are below with the items I ordered - 1) Chilli Paneer - Gravy .. Paneer was decent but gravy was thin like water and what you can see in gravy is only onions 2) Crispy veggie - taste was just ok to eat and surely not something to order again .. 3) Paratha and chapati - Firstly paratha Worst part of food , it was cold and hard.. Surely not freshly made. Friendly advise to restaurant not to serve cold paratha prepared in the evening/afternoon during dinner time to customers. Secondly chapati , it was only 25% cooked and again was cold. I have earlier got uncooked chapati from other restaurants but this one was worst among all. It seems restaurant management hardly check what they are serving to customers and blindly send for delivery. All money spent in Vain. My experience is going worst every time ordering from Zomato. Can’t trust now their rating. Time to switch to other app. 😓😐

The best place with budget when I was in qusais. The biriyani they provide is fully traditional and tamilnadu style with very soft pieces and tastes very nice in mouth even now while writing review my mouth is watering. Only problem is they won’t deliver to my place always.

Biriyani = Rice cooked with meat . Authentic Tamil Nadu Style Dum Biriyani. Their Ramadan Menu for Ifthar was awesome. 1) Nonbu Kanji - Rice porridge 2) Kadal paasi - China Grass 3) Rose milk with basil seeds 4) Masal vada, pakoda and many more. Just loved the taste as this used to be the regular menu at home for breaking fast.

Such a Worst Restaurant and one balck tamil guy with beard standing in the cash counter (Owner) is very rude and never smiles at all. If you ordered for Mutton Soup they will serve Flavored soup with expired mutton pieces But the price for this flavored soup is same as the original mutton soup. Recently this Owner terminated one waiter who serves very politely and offers some gravy as complimentary. Waiters and Services are good but the Owner insisting the waiters to serve the expired food items first.

Breakfast and dinner are the one to try. Dinner is good with different varaties of curries and parotta varities. Lunch is below average. Dont ever try their briyani. One of the worst briyani in that locality. Service to the customers also very average. During weekends it becomes worse as they dont have enough staff to serve.

Have tasted kothu parotas, biriyani, naan, parota, paaya, butter chicken and chicken kadai here. Among all, i loved kothu parota as it was so deleicious. The tasteless food is biriyani. None of my family members liked it. The pricing of the foods are reasonable. When it comes to ambiance, lot of improvement must be done in sitting arrangements as the restaurant is quite small, families find it difficult to settle down.

My colleague bought at work from this restaurant nice curd rice with papad , pickle and potato vegetable. I loved the curd rice so well made already mixed together with nice green chillis , sesame seed , nice aroma. He said for 6 dhs not bad as it was good quanity and tasty like home food !

Visited this place yesterday for lunch ordered for a chicken biryani and mutton biryani . Until I visited this place I never knew that Biryani also had huge chunk pieces of tomato . Taste wise it was decent nothing great . They have named it biryani but.as per me it.was nothing but pulao . Thoroughly disappointed with the whole experience . First time the biryani was not even warm . Later on they bought it warm it was not even heated properly .

Visited this place during lunch hours ordered for chicken biryani . It was served cold to us in 5 mins of time , I told them to heat it and serve again they bought it warm was very dissapointed with it , staff people were busy in their own world . They did not bother to pay attention to the customers which is really not acceptable . Ambience wise this place is below average and pricing wise it is pocket friendly .

Their Friday Biryani is special... Served with bread halwa! Different biryani from the normal ones.. Tamil ppl would definitely like it! I have heard even ghee rice is good but haven't tried it yet

Wana try authentic dosa ,appams and southern (tamil) dishes , here is the place. The masala dosas are crisp to perfection served with yummy chutneys . I have tried their pongal vada , idlies and uthappams . They all were great , though the ambience of the restaurant isn't . We ordered 2 mutton Biryani from Yummy(Al Qusais , dubai) on Friday ( we thought Friday is special day for Dum Biryani ,since the Restaurent run by Tamil people we were expecting the biryani will be like our home made style ), but we were disappointed by their Mutton Dum Biryani. The Biryani is not at all equal to our Tamil style Biryani( my native place is well known for Dum Biryani- Ambur Biryani & Amma Biryani,vellore) . Their biryani was exactly like tomato rice with some mutton pieces inside . The rice was so sticky with each other and they put some colour while cooking so it was like multicolour rice. The masala and the aroma doesn't taste and smell like authentic Tamil style biryani.They used to give one egg with each biryani but now it's missing. I've been a Yummy Restaurent customer since 2006 but I never tasted the worst biryani like this. I request the Yummy Restaurent management to look into this matter and have the right cook(chef) for the right food. I am looking forward to taste the authentic Tamil style biryani from yummy Restaurent in future.

Their veg thali is fine so as the Chennai chicken Biriyani . The chutneys for the breakfast are not really interesting. Personally I like this restaurant very much for one of those service which during Ramadan season. Nombu kanji is a must for Tamil Muslims during ifthar which we get it in mosque. Being in Dubai everyone will miss it, as it has a Spl taste. This restaurant do deliver kanji to home during ifthar and also dey deliver meals for suhoor (briyani, ghee rice,chicken and fish meals) which is great for Tamil bachelors in and around Qusais area. Their food is also yummy Tamil style food which is more like home cooked and not in the restaurant style. Chicken/mutton Briyani - good but taste different every time. Ghee rice n chicken curry - my all time favourite feels so homely Friday meal. Fish/chicken meal - take away will b sufficient for two. Filter coffee, kothu parotta and Dosa varieties are the must try in their menu.

Well typical south Indian restaurant. Ambience reminded me of some Tamil restaurants with Tamil music playing in the Background also the picture displays. Tried Poori which tasted good. Also I fell in love with the Tea they served. Would recommend this restaurants to people who miss the south indian vegie restaurants. They do serve meat as well. That is what I saw on the menu. So do try this place for some nostalgic fun.

Somebody told me that the food here was good. But to a personal level I found the dal tadka to be too strong for my taste buds. The parathas were good - perfectly soft and warm in the cold weather. Can't say much about interiors since it was a take away. But I think they can surely do better .
