AMAZING CUPCAKES, thats the first thing i would want to say right off. Their taste, their very high quality, their packaging, EVERYTHING. This was a wonderful quarantine activity to do with my 8-9 year old friends. I highly recommend their cupcakes! I cant wait to go to their store this time and have more!

Ordered 8 cupcakes for our office. I was called and available flavors discussed and was helped when there was a delivery confusion in the office with another. Excellent service and the cupcakes were received in perfect condition. Just beautiful, thank you.
Smallcakes. A place , not that easy to find, but quite pleasing once u do. Have a minimal collection of small cakes , pastries and cupcakes , but the taste was quite good and they have options to prepare made to order cakes and mini pastries.
You can get some amazing pictures at this small cupcake shop. Not only that, those dummy cakes got me really hungry!
Went in to try some cupcakes as a dessert after lunch on a holiday. We tried your different types ranging from 12 to 16 bucks:
- Pink Vanilla: I am not a huge fan of buttercream but liked it better when I mashed it all together on the ride back home. My dad loved it so it was just me.
- Caramel Crunch: While it has sea salt and pretzels on it, knowing it I found it weird but the taste overall was actually perfect. The sweetness balanced the saltiness. Didn't expect that.
- Famous Red Velvet: The cupcake is good enough to be famous in the cupcake industry, if there were one! It's honestly good.
- Pistachio: Usually there's an overwhelming flavour of pistachio that takes me back but this was a perfectly balanced one. The pistachios crushed on top were good.
Overall, great service and staff. I'll try the milkshakes another time!
I had the mini cupcakes box... It's pretty MINI but extremely tasty. They taste as delicious as they look! The mini cupcakes box is a bit pricey when compared to the size of them, but it tastes great.They provide quick service with polite staff. The interiors are pretty and subtle. The pink chocolate I tried was delicious and creamy
I could’t find a best bakery in town until I had @smallcakesuae. Want to satisfy your sweet craving? Grab their best ‘Red velvet’ & ‘Cookie n Cream’ Shake or have some Mini Cheesecake & Mini Brownies in more than Seven flavours, and ugh there cupcakes are a must try I am starving for them right now. They not only have delectable taste but cute little place to sit.
Great place for kids & adults ( family as well ) fresh delicious, and yummy cupcakes/milkshakes , The design feel homy & comfortable , Well service & staff.

"The cupcakes here are as good as they can get. So fluffy, yet so dense. The flavours in their Chocolate Cupcakes, the Vanilla one and the Red Velvet are all extremely on point. Loved their icing and creativity with their fondants. Extremely appealing, visually and in taste - highly recommend this place for your next tea party ;)

Great interior, very lovely staff and good ambience. Although there was lack of seating would probably have to prefer on takeaways.
We tried their best sellers, Red velvet and Cookies&Cream Milk shake. Were good too.
Small cakes UAE truly met my expectations.

After the appearance on @foodnetwork ‘s “Cupcake wars” This place became high in demand and can you believe it we have this in our own #mydubai. The “dates Cupcake ” was my fav and what I absolutely love about these cupcakes are that they have a generous spread of frosting,not too sweet with perfectly moist cupcakes! And they deliver tooo with no hassle!Heard they have cupcake milkshakes too.. Definitely going in to try them. They also take custom orders😻
Got a customized cake done for a party at office today and Small cakes service was highly satisfying. They have delivered upto my expectation and at the right time. The pistachio flavoured cake was soft and moist with a melt-in-the-mouth texture. Sweetness was just right, not too much cream. One of the best choices for cakes. Well done Small cakes!!!
My friends ordered 20 mini cupcakes for my birthday, thanks to my love for red velvet goodness. They were divine, just mouth-watering goodness, the right amount of cream cheese frosting and the beautiful fluffy red velvet cake made my birthday just a little more special. They are a little pricey but for an occasion that comes once a year i wouldn't mind the indulge. They even delivered them to my university which is a big plus.

Cupcake are good. Not all of them taste that great. Lemon flavor and lotus was good Goes well with a cup of tea or coffee whatever you prefer. Red velvet was not that great! It needs some more cream cheese! Mini cupcake are bite size. Perfect to order for tea parties!
While scrolling in talabat.com i was searching for a bakery that would deliver me a cake to jabel ali area thus i found small cakes! Here's the reasons why i gave them an excellent rating;

Aren’t edible gifts the best, well I received a delicious Ramadan gift, which contained Smallcakes new Saffronic cake and 4 cupcakes.
In the beginning, I couldn’t figure out the flavors of the Saffronic (at the time I did not know what it was called), I guessed orange or orange blossom based on looks, and after tasting: a kunafa layer or aseeda bobar. After further investigation/eating I was stumped by the saffron, loved the combination with pistachio. The sponge is soft and velvety especially the bottom layer, the buttercream is silky smooth and not too heavy or sweet.
The cupcakes are Smallcakes specialty and I was really excited to try them. The Saffronic may have overshadowed the cupcakes by taking a different flavor route.
The birthday cupcake is every eye-catching and was devoured first, vanilla sponge topped with heavy cream and sprinkles.
The peanut butter is quite rich, for some the peanut flavor may be too overpowering since it’s a very in your face cupcake.
The vanilla n chocolate brilliantly executed two classic flavors. Soft vanilla sponge with chocolate frosting and chocolate sprinkles!
The last cupcake is the caramel crunch, chocolate sponge, salted caramel frosting and topped with salty pretzels. The balance of flavors are really what makes this cupcake stand out (the pretzels don’t hurt).
Smallcakes is a great cupcakery but I still think that the Saffronic takes the cake (bad pun). #ZomatoRamadan
Seriously the best commercial cupcakes i have tried so far. I love the moist cupcakes and the not too sweet icing, every single bite melts in ur mouth. I have yet to try magnolia bakery but so far small cakes gets a 4.5 in my book. Im pretty picky with my desserts as well it cant be too sweet and it needs to have the right amount of balance when crunchy and salty ingredients are used (the caramel crunch) the pretzel on top when fresh adds a crunch and the little bit of salt just makes it yum.
At Smallcakes in Al Wasl :D Tried out their Oreo Cupcake for Dhs13 😍 Butter cream infused with Oreo crumbs on a fluffy & moist chocolate cake base 😀 & Twin milkshake for just Dhs26 ☺☺ It only takes a splash of milk along with their secret ingredient mixed together with your choice of a cupcake to make this lovely thick delicious milkshake topped with whipped cream 👌
Visited this lovely bake shop during the Food Festival at Wafi. I loved how they had arranged their boxes and cupcakes. I'm a sucker for the color pink, so this was probably my favorite stall there.
Coming to the cupcakes, they tasted heavenly! Also, they do cupcake milkshake! Now, that's innovative! I ordered a Red Velvet milkshake and I have to say, it was amazing. The sweetness was not overpowering and the coolness was just what I needed before stepping outside.
Totally worth giving a try atleast once!

I'm probably not the right person to review SmallCakes but I feel like I must.
Let's just start of by saying that's a really clever name, cupcakes as small cakes. Simple yet genius.
So last week on my way to an informal meeting with my former employer, I decided stopped by to get her some smallcakes. I bought a total of eight cupcakes, six for my boss, and one each for my friends who work in media city.
I tried just one of the cupcakes out of all the cupcakes I bought, as my boss offered me one.
Stepping into the shop I wasn't too impressed with the overly pinkness of the place, and the decorations of the smallcakes lacked charm. Saying that I don't think I've tasted such great tasting cupcakes in Dubai. I used to have an obsession with cupcakes, but most places I've been to have great interiors, cute cupcakes but lack taste.
The smallcakes on the other hand were moist and flavorful, the cream was just the right amount of sweet and I would definitely go back to try some of the other things they've got on their menu.
Being the busy day that it was I barely took any pictures, but I'd recommend this place to anyone who needs a sugar rush.

Many of you who know me personally are already aware that I’ve shifted to Wasl Road now, which has made it so much more convenient to explore the vicinity in my free time :-)
A few weeks back, I drove to the closest mall (Aswaaq Mall) near my house to explore what restaurants and cafes have opened up there. To my pleasant surprise, I found SmallCakes, a very attractive cupcakery located in the front side of the mall.
When I entered, I couldn’t help but notice how well decorated this little shop is. The only thing more appealing than the decor are the cupcakes of course! There is a huge glass display in the middle of the store which has all the goodies neatly frosted, aligned, and labelled.
SmallCakes is originally an American brand that has franchised internationally for the first time. In America, SmallCakes has more than 75 locations across the country, and has often appeared in my favorite TV show, The Cupcake Wars! In addition to this, USA Today has named SmallCakes as one of the Top 10 cupcake places to try in their country. All these merits surely got my expectations sky high! :-)
I soon got into touch with the management of SmallCakes, who were really generous and arranged a huge box of smaller SmallCakes! I received 24 mini cupcakes that came in 12 unique flavors.
These mini cupcakes looked so impressive and neat, that I almost didn’t want to eat them :-)
But life must go on so after an extensive photo shoot, I finally tried them.
The cakes
Almost all the cakes boasted a very light and airy texture. The cake flavours used were vanilla, lemon, chocolate, and red velvet, and all of them tasted just right. They weren’t too sweet, which I actually liked a lot! The icing is always going to be sweeter, so a milder cake always goes a long way. A good move by SmallCakes :-)
The icing
SmallCakes surely has a vast variety of cupcake flavours, with each icing being very different from the other.
Besides being colorful and glamorous, the icing tasted very fresh and light. Most of them were whipped, which made them very delicate and feathery. I actually enjoyed it this way as opposed to the thick, greasy frostings that I’ve had in other bakeries.
The presentation
I rarely do give a 10 on 10 for presentation, but these cupcakes looked absolutely stunning. They were elegantly decorated and packed into a huge box, making transportation a lot easier.
Look at those pieces of Kit Kat meticulously placed in the center, and that Oreo cupcake in the middle tastefully decorated with biscuit crumbs. Oh and the fabulous pink sugar!

SmallCakes surely did live up to the hype, as well as my high expectations. I surely recommend multiple visits here :-)

came to know about this cakery through instagram, its a small shop in alwasl road , next to aswaq. its the first international branch of small cakes in UAE, although they have got over 100 branches in all over US.
they have different flavors of fresh and yummy cupcakes with a very reasonable price, within 12-16 dirhams,
and ohh yes dont forget to get their cupcake milkshakes, which you choose your flavor and they put the whole cupcake in blender and give you a milkshake.
Yummiest cupcakes . . fresh, soft and special flavors . . Also I tried their new in town "cupcake milkshake" it was so good it won't be the last time . . don't miss it!
