Their food is full of flavour and we have ordered few times when we feel like simple italian food. Only the dishes are pricy compared to portion provided.

We had a world class experience when me and my husband ordered from Cucina Mia. The tiramisu specially was ...muaaah!! My personal favourite award goes ro pappardelle ai funghi porcini. It was wow! Keep it up guys. Keep serving heaven on plate.

Just happened to find absolutely quaint and amazing Italian place in JBR. Might I say I absolutely loved the food. The pasta was really good. The ambience is amazing. They were all decorated for Christmas. How beautiful it was. The server was really friendly and served every dish with a smile. I totally recommend this place if you are looking to have authentic Italian. And if you do go here you absolutely have to try their tiramisu. It's heavenly.
The only drawback I found is the portion size for everything is pretty small for the food.

Italian food is one of the cuisines that are not exactly in excess in Dubai so it is always good to try one whenever I come across them. Cucina Mia is one that is located at the end of JBR in a mall that doesn’t get much foot traffic so you definitely need to know that the restaurant is located there otherwise you probably will never visit it during your time in Dubai, no matter how long you live in Dubai, mostly because no one goes to that mall.

we went here @cucinamia.ae and OMG the food was delicious.
the ambiance is perfect, and the waiters “that is the best part” they are so friendly and welcoming.
So for the starter we ordered Insalata Caprese, highly recommended by me. its a salad with a big chunk of cheese on the top.
Also, we met the owner of the place Mr. Haytham he is a chef to be, he offered us his recipe The Pizza burger, my husband eats that all, I just got a bite, it was so delicious he didn't want to share :D.
For the main, I ordered pasta and my husband a ribeye steak (he said one of the best in Dubai), AND my pasta was out of this world, the taste was unforgettable.
I just loved it, at the mid eating the waiter came and offered me truffle oil, I said yes, and it made the pasta even twice as nice.
For the dessert we got a panna cotta, we just order one and I can ensure you, it was enough for 3 people, so creamy and the Icecream was incredibly yummy.
I went there with my son and I say this place is child-friendly, they gave my son a chief cap as well, even the cashier came and played with him. 👏

Very good pizza and good service. I would really recommend this place. With the Zomato Gold voucher we had a great dinner in two with less than 100 Aed! I tried it also in the morning for breakfast and happily had a proper traditional Italian cappuccino and croissant. 👍🏼👍🏼
Did you say pizza by the meter, I’ll take 5. Hands down the best pizza in Dubai, and has been for the last 5 years. The quality of the base and cheese is classic. Blown away on the first bite. “One bite everyone knows the rules”

Delivering good Italian food is tricky, but worth trying occasionally. Here is how they did:
Food:
Bread Passivetizer - very delicate and soft with a good crust
Lasagna - it seemed slightly overcooked, but had a pleasant taste not overpowered by cheese or tomato like they can be. The pasta tasted fresh as well
Truffle Ravioli - the pasta was definitely fresh but, unlike the lasagna, had a very potent taste. It was good but the truffle was actually a bit over done; this left a potent smell behind that could be considered unpleasant
Service - delivery was fast and easy
Bang for Buck - price wasn't bad but portions were slightly small
In total, a good place we might order from again

Such a big breakfast- all well made and tasty, just myb for egg royals instead of more sausage and ham there could be option of fruit, because many ppl don’t mix meat with fish in one meal.
Nestled in JBR, this little Italian gem is not hard to miss. With the interiors giving off an air of Italian streets, Cucina Mia is a quaint restaurant with a menu that excels in variety. The chef, Matteo Bissante takes great pride in his craft and the food served on the table is a result of that passion.
We tucked in straight into the Grigliata Mista, a ginormous grilled seafood platter consisting of salmon, calamari, octopus, seabream and prawns. Grilled to perfection, this platter will delight even the most picky eaters.
The Tiramisu is the only dish I've tried so far, to satisfy a post dinner sweet craving . It was extremely good and I'd highly recommend it.

Visited this place on recommendation of my Italian friend. Authentic Italian food priced right! Must visit if you are an Italian food lover. The pizza is very good. You may get a surprise visit from the Italian chef himself before ypur order is prepared!!!
Great pizzas! Tried to already and excited to try more! They silver pizzas that come with fresh vegetables on top in a very smart way, as they give you the greens separately so you can top your pizza and enjoy it fresh and nice :) very nice!
They also link two pizzas of your choice together which I didn’t try yet, but, I think they still need to have special boxes for the individual pizzas as the box looks too big for the pizza the only thing I’d comment on :D

This is an Italian place located in JBR just opposite the Le Royal Meridien beach resort. The decor will remind you of an old Italian townside.
The outlet is not exactly on the waterfront but good ambience. We ordered the Fiori Di Zucca for starter, which is fried zucchini tempura style. It was okay and a bit of salt would have made it great. We skipped the regular Italian meal and went for Petto Di Pollo Alla Griglia, which is grilled sliced chicken breast. This was yummy and came with some greens and boiled potatoes making it a healthy main course. The service is good too.
Definitely a place where I'll visit to try pizzas and pastas next time 😀
I discovered a hidden gem this Friday in the narrow and bustling streets of JBR and the name of this gem is Cucina Mia Restaurant. ‘Cucina Mia’ translates to ‘My Kitchen’ and you can expect home-like Italian food just like how an Italian nonna makes in her kitchen in Italy. Located on the ground floor of Trident Grand Residence, Cucina Mia is a family friendly restaurant with al fresco dining area. The restaurant has simple and earthy decor with comfortable seating area.

Based in the Trident Grand Residence of JBR, it's a perfect hub for tourists and food lovers to hop in and grab a quick Italian meal on the go. JBR is a food lover's paradise and one cannot go wrong with different variety of foods to choose from, yet all in all, Cucina Mia stood out.
Upon entering, it looks like a very small cafe with a Felliniesque old Italian window setting and a counter for food order and a kitchen bunk where you can see a chef preparing food. There's a separate coffee bar, not surprised as Italians are great coffee makers too.
Getting to the food, the menu is vast and covers pretty much everything you'd look for in an Italian cuisine serving International diners.
Our favourite were the Shrimp Ravioli and Truffle Rissotto with Parmesan cheese, it had the perfect amount of Olive oil and salt.
The Pizzas were ok, thin crusted and little salt, they tasted bland but that got overlooked with the delicious bites of the profiteroles and tiramisu. The profiteroles were delicious to the core! The classic Italian cappuccino was super creamy and strong, just the way we prefer. Overall, it was a good experience for a decent price range.
This Italian restaurant is an independent outlet located ideally in JBR serves meals which totally reflects the tradition and original recipes from the region. The highly experienced & famous chef Matteo Bissanti, shows his skills and expertise in each dish. We had some precious moments while talking to the chef. The chef explained to us, while in the kitchen he makes sure not only to keep the authenticity of dishes intact but at the same time food is always freshly prepared and served immediately. Chef believes that serving fresh food is at its best and heating any of the cooked food or its ingredients effects the flavors.
Brilliant Italian Restaurant
The food here is superb. The ravioli my girlfriend had is one of the best dishes I have ever tasted, and my lasagne was wonderful. Truly authentic Italian food. The inside of the restaurant has a rather cold feel, but sit outside and overlook the Dubai Marina Mosque and boats going by in the marina and you won't look once at the actual restaurant.
Also extremely good value for the location and quality. At a very medium price.
Finally an independent Italian restaurant that is not coddled in a luxury hotel – one that has to rely on its own true delicacies and affordability to delight its clientele!. Cucina Mia means My Kitchen, and it is the brainchild of Chef Domenico Serra, a veteran chef and restaurant owner for longer than he cares to remember.
