Hey Sugar is located in the The village mall in Jumeirah. We had been to this mall and was tempted to try the cupcakes. We tried few varieties and can say it was the best. My favourite cupcake here is Tutti but not frutti, it is a rainbow coloured cupcakes with vanilla frosting. Service is great.

The store person - from phillipines had a very poor attitude when i wanted to purchase something and he was like he didnt have change. This could be communicated in a customer friendly way too.

I love their cupcakes and the unique names they have given them. I got the chocolate and Nutella cupcake ‘Never Kiss Ntella’ with coffee. Great mood booster.

Hey Sugar has a variety of cupcakes, they taste good but I was disappointed because for some reason, they didn't taste fresh. It tasted like these cupcakes were 2-3 days old when I talk about the actual cake.<br/>A bit disappointed because they have amazing flavours, just not up to the mark.

The most brilliant cupcakes and cakes, I order one for every family birthday and I cannot resist popping in when I'm close by for a tiny snack. The icing is more finger licking good then KFC 😂<br/>

Got a cake ordered in chocolate flavor for my husbands birthday. I gave them a 3d design and they made it with such perfection... thank you very much for the prompt delivery and amazing service... looking forward to placing many more orders with you.. i definitely recommend Hey Sugar for all special occasions

The cakes from Hey sugar Taste amazing , we always order cakes from here, recently ordered the KitKat cake.<br/><br/> And major bonus it was not too sweet, usually bakeries load the cakes with sugar to compensate for the lack of flavors. Which was not the case here.

A nice little place in Jumeirah, Hey Sugar is one of my favourites when it comes to cupcakes. I managed to stop by and pick up some mini cupcakes. I love the setup of hey sugar and it gives a welcome feeling to the customers. I got the mini cupcakes (red velvet, chocolate with vanilla frosting and vanilla with chocolate frosting).<br/><br/>All were really good and will come again. A must try for cupcake lovers.

My first visit to this bakery and i totally loved their interiors whic were of combination on white and pink. They have a great seating area as well. Bought some cupcakes at this visit including Cookies'N Scream, Never Kiss N'tella and Chocoholics Anonymous.<br/>All the 3 flavors tasted really good, especially the chocoholics anonymous! The cupcakes are really big topped with a tasty frosting. I highly reccomend the chocoholics cupcake to all the chocolate lovers!<br/>I was also given some complimentary truffles along with the cupcakes which were delicious as well and were covered with different designs.<br/>Will definitely be back to try more flavors!

I received a box of their red velvet and Oreo cupcakes. They were nice, a little too creamy if you ask me. I'd like to hold my judgement until I personally visit this place and try other flavours, they seem to have a huge variety.

I went to Hey Sugar to try my chance to get a complicated cake done for my friend' birthday after getting turned down by 3, yes 3 shops in Dubai!<br/>When I told them what the design was, they immediately started showing pictures of even more detailed cakes they made.<br/>They also managed to "build" the cake and deliver it earlier then expected.<br/>The cake was the success of the party, because it was beautiful and incredibly and decadently good.<br/><br/>Thank you Hey Sugar!<br/><br/>You're my #1 and only desserts bakery ;)

I have had the best desserts here. <br/>I once called hey sugar in a last minute emergency to cater to my company's anniversary 2 hours ahead ordering 200 customized cupcakes. I never thought anybody would agree to that crazy deadline, but it was an emergency. They were able to customize the cupcakes and deliver them on time. Not only that, the cupcakes were delicious and creamy. <br/>Any crazy design for birthday cakes that i have ever asked for was done beautifully. <br/>Thank you hey sugar !!!

I love this place! It's so cute and tiny in Jumeirah and their cupcakes are adorable and delicious. My top 3 would be Red Velvet, Pink Callice and Where's the dough? Never tried it myself but I've heard their carrot and lemon cakes are also really good. Perfect little ambience and excellent service.

Very disappointed....I think the names and flavour choices are great, but who wants to pay 14Dhs for a two day old cupcake?? The sponge was stale and dry on at least 5 of the cakes, whilst the others (being only a day old) were better. My advice when purchasing from here is to check the label on the bottom of the cupcake to see when they were produced!!!<br/>Seriously unimpressed.

Hey Sugar has been mine and the best friend's long standing tradition. Dating back to school days, holiday meet ups during university breaks and now as slaves of the corporate world.<br/><br/>I've had some great times here and their cupcakes have been perfect comfort food. Yesterday's trip to Hey Sugar however was a little disappointing as the cupcakes seem to have gotten drier and the frosting way too sweet. <br/>I'd generally vouch for Hey Sugar as one of the best cupcake places in Dubai but didn't feel that way yesterday. The pink interior appealed to my 17 year old high school self who loved pink anything. However, the interiors are a bit too much for me now, but I still love their mint and white striped walls. <br/><br/>Orders included the Red Velvet and the Chocolate with Vanilla frosting. Apologies, don't remember the names. <br/><br/>Since, I'll keep going here till either the place closes down or till both me and my friend don't live in Dubai anymore, I'd really like it they got back the old Sugar Daddy taste.

Very creative with the cupcake names and quiet tempting, each one of them, by the looks of it on the display. We went for Too Sneaky and Chocoholics Anonymous. The cake portion was dry, but maybe that explains the whole load of thick frosting on top. Because we were the only ones there, doesn't mean the staff at the counter should continue looking at us as we took our bites.

I had the peanut butter with raspberry jelly cupcake and it was really nice. <br/>Interiors were nice and well done. <br/>I just felt that the price of the cupcake is a little too high for its size. It should offer bigger cupcakes for the price of 15 Dhs.

Well I guess this place serves one of the best cup cakes.. I love their different flavors.. Chocolucious , gimme some more, sneaky, carrot flavor all r good..<br/>I have also tried their red velvet though not up to my taste but the fudge chocolate cake was really good..<br/>Their latte was good too though I m not a fan of coffee but this was from my friend..<br/><br/>Overall a good cupcake place.. Hey Sugar is a bakeshop that I love to visit; I’m reviewing their main branch located in Village Mall Jumeirah. I've had the pleasure of attending one of their cupcake making parties and those in itself are awesome. You need a minimum of 6 people and it’s really fun but those happen in their studio in JBR. Moving on to this specific visit, I walked into the super colourful store, I've always loved their green,white and pink colour combo since it’s bright and refreshing. The display is filled with their famous cupcakes, cheesecakes, cookies, cake pops, cakes cones and much more. On top of the display they had cute little cupcake containers which my mom took a liking to straight away. I also got to meet the chef and take a look at the kitchen that supplies all of the branches with product. They prep and work mainly in the mornings starting from 4 am till around 6 to 7 pm. While I was there they were making red velvet cake pops which was amazing to watch.<br/><br/>I decided to try their 1000 & 1 swirls which was a vanilla cupcake with orange blossom frosting, pistachios and topped with crispy kunafa that was part of their Ramadan collection but due to the intense demand was made part of the menu full time. The cupcakes were nice, quite sweet but for the 1000 & 1 swirls you need to have a taste developed for orange blossom, the great thing is that the flavour isn’t too strong. I also tried their new range, the stuffed cupcakes the flavours were ''banoffee cupcake'', ''apple of my pie'', ''love me tender'', ''who let the dough out'' and ''rockin rerro''. I tried the ''who let the dough out'' which was a chocolate cupcake with cookie dough frosting (with real cookie bits in the frosting) and a small cookie on top. Additionally, I also had the red velvet cake pop and the red velvet cupcake milkshake. The cake pop was nice but quite dense so it gets stuck to the roof of your mouth. I loved the milkshake; it was honestly amazing plus they even do other flavours like oreo, strawberry, coffee and choco mint. My milkshake didn't taste as sweet compared to the cupcakes, but who I was with (my mom) said it was pretty sweet, the flavour was just not registering due to the sweet overload prior, the drink wasn’t light or heavy but just right. Overall a nice bakeshop with fantastic cakes in a great setting!<br/><br/>I dined as a guest of the restaurant, but as always my opinions remain unbiased.

I've tried most of the cupcakes here. I tend to stop over after I visit the salon next door as a treat after the beauty treatment pains. :D <br/>Over the last year I think their quality has dipped slightly, the cakes are a little drier and the cream a little thicker and sweeter (not in a good way) than it was. Last year I would have given them a 4.5 or a 5.0. Nevertheless their cupcakes are still good. I especially love their local themed cupcakes. They have the kunafa cupcake called a 1001 nights - which is an orange blossom cake topped with pistachio orange icing and a crispy kunefa topping. Great stuff. <br/>Their smarties and chocolate cupcake is really good too - It's a vanilla base with chocolate butter cream and a lot of smarties . their rainbow swirly cupcake was featured on Timeout and it really is good. <br/>But I'm waiting impatiently for the Ramadan themed cupcakes. Last year I tried their Desert Rose. It's a Qahwa cake (coffee and cardamom but super light) topped with a rose buttercream. Just awesome. <br/>i personally think these are some of the best in the city - better than Kitsch or Sweet Lane, maybe even better than Hummingbird. If I'm buying cakes/ cupcakes then I go to these folks or to Magnolia. Do give it a try next time you're in the vicinity.

Best cupcakes in dubai. The frosting is very delicious with a unique taste, the best flavors in my opinion are red velvet and pink cadillac. The cake pops are tasty too ive ordered 50 pieces all we're fresh and yummy. The orders are always ready on time and the staff provide good recommendations.

I'm a huge fan of cupcakes and sweets in general. The wife, not so much. It's a big deal for me when we go out to a place like Hey Sugar. I'm happy that I wasn't disappointed by my cupcake today.<br/><br/>I went with the 1000 & 1 Twists cupcakes and the wife went with a Banoffee cupcake. She thought there was too much frosting. Is there such a thing? That's crazy talk. Both cupcakes were top notch and oh so sweet. The cappuccino was fine, nothing special.

It seems that in the last few years the cupcake business has really been catching on and everyone seems to be joining the bandwagon. Quite a few have closed down as well. Hey Sugar seems to have survived till now, and for good reason. Theirs has to be one of the better tasting cupcakes in town.<br/>Have tried most of their cupcakes and cheesecake. Simply too good. One of the most overhyped cupcake shops around, I have been disappointed by Hey Sugar on multiple occasions. The cupcakes have way too much frosting, which is too sugary and sweet. And yes cupcakes are supposed to be creamy, but they just don't know the line between just right and overdoing it. The red velvet cupcake milkshake was one of the biggest disasters from this little shop, and ever since I've vowed not to turn to them for any occasion. The only saving grace is their latest white and milk chocolate marble cupcake, which is the only one I'll go for, if ever.
