Shandiz – An Iranian restaurant located at the Emirates Concorde Hotel in Diera with a very well done classic interior and live music. We went for dinner on a Saturday night and got to see some enthusiastic people of all ages dance along the popular numbers. The whole place is lit up in yellow light with huge chandeliers on the ceiling. The first thing they served was the complimentary salad and a basket of Iranian bread.
Shandiz is a Iranian restaurant which has recently opened in Deira. The restaurant is done up in a very classic way and if you end up coming here in the night you get to enjoy the live entertainment in the form of singing.
They have a salad and a soup section in the form of buffet and from there I opted for the soul satisfying Chicken Soup which was comforting. From their extensive menu I went ahead and ordered their signature Lamb Chops which is a speciality dish from a city in Iran called Shandiz. Their Chicken Kebab too are juicy and moist and go well with the Bilberry rice or the traditional Saffron Rice. Pot Roast is another dish which is entirely for the meat lovers, it doesn't has much of spices and would be apt for people who love pure meat texture.
They have another lounge for Sheesha where you can indulge in sweets or beverages we did order for a coffee which took time considering the barista maker was on holiday but overall I did enjoy my time here and wouldn't mind coming back here.
Woooow what a place ! .. I wented for lunch with my cousin and was shocked with the beautiful decor of the restaurant however the quality of food was same as the decor .. the chicken was soft and tasty .. they have a small salad buffet .. overall in my opinion it is one of the best iranian restaurant in deira.
We had lunch here a few times. The servers here are just wonderful and have great memories it seems. Delicious Iranian meals with the live music.Must try!
The real Shandiz now in Dubai.
Really enjoyed my dining here and I am glad to find an iranian restaurant here. my food was hot and fresh which was delightful. Decoration is very luxurious and classic which is amazing.

Shandiz is back. And this time there can be no doubt – it serves the very best Shishlik south of Mashhad, bar none. I will go as far as saying I have only had better Shishlik in the actual village of Shandiz on the outskirts of Mashhad once before. This is THAT good. And for those who don’t know what Shishlik is, without getting into its Central Asian / Caucasus origins, Shishlik is marinated lamb chops grilled on hot coals
Located on the 1st floor of the Emirates Concord Hotel, the new Shandiz interior is all bling. Central to the restaurant is a round buffet table around which an assortment of starters are carefully placed amidst a beautiful floral arrangement. The starters comprise of Iranian classics Mast-o-Musir (Yogurt and Shallots), Borani (Yogurt and Spinach), Cold Beets, Salad Shirazi and several regional small dishes such as Tabbouleh, Baba Ghanoush, etc.
Shandiz has a second secret weapon – it bakes Sangak Flatbread, which till now was exclusive to Abshar, giving them a competitive edge against most others in the market. And let me assure you the Shandiz Sangak is nothing less than excellent – it’s lighter and slighter saltier than Abshar’s; I will have to try it on another day to make sure it was not a fluke – it’s that good. I could have sat there all afternoon dipping piece after piece into their gloriously creamy Mast-o-Musir or making small, bite-sized wraps of Feta, Walnuts, fresh Mint and local Basil – heaven.
Service was very friendly and accommodating. No recently opened jitters whatsoever.
But the real star of the show was their amazing Shishlik. Do not hesitate, do not waste another minute – go and try it – it really is to die for fantastic.

Shandiz is a place worth taking your guests to or having a family lunch or dinner since the ambiance is grand, the live music cheers the place up and the food tastes great.

لكن النجم الحقيقي للعرض كان شيشليك المذهل. لا تتردد ، لا تضيع دقيقة أخرى - اذهب وجربها - إنها حقًا الموت من أجل رائعة.
