Well definitely they have something special: "the kunafa cheesecake". But I think they should focus on the other dishes as well.
This place offers this unique cheesecake topped with the traditional kunafa, excellent combination and tastes great. Kunafa lovers will enjoy it for sure.
We had chocolate cake as well, but it wasn't even close to the cheesecake level, too too sweet and thick, I am sure you can work better on your chocolate cake.

A lovely little bakery in Cluster Q. It was my wife's birthday today and I was looking for good bakeries in JLT. In my search, surprisingly Sukar was not even suggested by Zomato! I was on my way to another bakery (baker Street) and saw Sukar on the way. I remember having a cappuccino a long while back but never thought of it as a dessert place.
As my wife and I are not much sugar eaters, I wanted to take some cupcakes for the birthday celebration. Thank goodness I chose Sukar. The Double Chocolate cupcakes were super yummy! Highly recommended.
Thank you team for making our daughters birthday very very memorable . We thank you for going extra mile for preparing a customized birthday cake for our daughter within a very quick time. All children and guests highly appreciated the cake for the event.
Kunafe and cheesecake are my guilty pleasures when I need an emotional uplift in the form of sweets. This little bakery makes that uplift come true in the form of kunafe cheesecake. It is heaven!! One bite and not only does the cheesecake melt in your mouth, so does whatever stress you had !! :-) the blueberry cheesecake as well is delicious. It is soft and creamy and you won't be able to resist this cake. The staff are friendly and all their cakes look yumm and one better than the other. A must try for all sweet tooth !!

If you love Oreo Milkshakes, Oreo cakes, Oreo biscuits or Oreo ANYTHING, you'll love their cheesecake. It's a delicious combination of the perfect thickness of a crushed oreo base with the right crunch, a layer of cheesecake, followed by a thin layer of crushed Oreo with some more cheesecake. This is then finished off with some thick cream. Although it is ridiculously heavy, if you're with the right company it's a great dessert to share! :)
Personally, I love Knafe and so I felt the cheesecake was lovely! But if you aren't a fan of the original dish, I wouldn't recommend it.

Yesterday was World Nutella Day and I had to celebrate it somehow. Popped into Sukar in the evening and was happy to see that they've added a Nutella Cheese Cake to their wide array of cakes. It was absolutely delicious.
Of course, I already knew it was going to be amazing. Everything I've ever tried at this little shop, tucked away in a corner of JLT, has turned out to be absolutely yummy... though here's a warning: you will not be able to finish a slice of their cakes alone. I suggest you request backup when you're going to Sukar!
I especially recommend their Knafe Cheesecake and their Banoffee Pie. Very, very good. Try out their drinks too - their vanilla frappe and "heavenly caramel" are super tasty, plus they have a lot of fruity drinks and warm beverages too.
Sukar House of Desserts is a little gem I've only recently allowed myself to be tempted into tasting. I've often walked past here and wondered why it's always empty. Perhaps it's the position or lack of marketing whatever it is, residents of JLT get down there quick and delight your tastebuds. A cutely decorated store with friendly staff and unusual desserts awaits you.
I tried the Ferrero Cheesecake, which was crunchy and soft in all the right bits. As well as the Creme Caramel which was smooth and rich and tasted like more.

Sukar is a tiny place tucked away in the midst of JLT. As understated this place is, don't be daunted. The desserts are unique and pack a punch. I recommend their banoffee pie which is quite delicious with bananas and whipped cream. Their kunafa cheesecake is more a spectacle than an actually good crossover of a cheesecake and the kunafa. Huge points for the cheesecake, but the kunafa flavor didn't really fall through. I was lucky enough to try a sample of an off-menu item called carrot cupcakes and they were absolutely delicious! Moist, just a right amount of sweetness along with crushed walnuts and raisins with a cool topping of cream cheese makes this cupcake one to try once it enters the menu. The other cupcakes and the Oreo dream cheesecake look dreamy; looking forward to trying them the next time.
On a sunny cool breathy Saturday, I was passing near Sukar & decided to finally try it after seeing it many times before. The staff is very welcoming & make you feel that they are the owners with their warm approach, something you miss in most of the shops. I ordered the Banoffe pie, however the staff insisted that their speciality is the Nutella cheesecake. I was not in the mood of having 2 pieces, however they insisted & offered me a Nutella piece! Wow! How nice is that? Now to the taste: Mind blowing! Great freshly in house baked pastries that made me longing for my next visit where I will surely try other cakes :)

Staff: Nancy was the person who handled my call & helped me with everything. Even though it was last time minutes and changes..I just love this lady for such a positive aura she has..Trust me could be felt on the call as well. She informed me how can i pay via cashless..(traveling to JLT is pain) & i forgot to mention birthday boys name..she did it last minute & beautifully written.
Cake : Red Velvet cheese cake is one of the best cake these people have. My friend office staff loved it & best cake ever they had. Yummy.

Recently, I've come back to JLT - for experimenting with food. This place was recommended by a mutual friend. Thought I'll go and check it out . Tiny place within the jungle of JLT , the interiors is concise for a dessert shop.
Now what I've had from here are the best - Creme Caramel and Red Velvet Cupcake.
There are very few red velvet that impress me, since usually they are just rip offs. This one was amazing ... The cream cheese frosting and the lightness of the cake itself , makes it a delicacy .
For a friends birthday, we had ordered a whole creme caramel pudding , which was excellent - not eggy , not drowning in watery caramel.

One of the good desert shops in Dubai. Sukar is a small shop hidden in JLT, which many might not know about, but it can definitely rival many of the bigger more known names in Dubai.
Many of Sukar's products are winners, some might need a bit more effort but still what this shop offers can place it on the top of your list.
Prices are slightly high as with many such shops in Dubai.
The staff are friendly and helpful.
The first thing I will mention here is the portion! You will never be able to finish one piece of their unique cakes by your own! So my advice if you are going to order one, bring two more friends with you :-)) Very tasty and Fresh!
Cuz OMG! I have died and gone to heaven!!! I love this place. Thanks to Naomi D'Souza I got to try out this wonderful place. I tried their Red velvet Chunk Cheesecake and their Chefs chocolate cake! So I realllly loooooove me some good red velvet and omg! It's was bombdiggity!!! The chocolate cake was moist And chocolatey but I have a soft corner for red velvet cake anyday! I would definitely come here a million times to try out different cakes!

Sukar House of Desserts, also known as Sugar House of Desserts is living up to its name ever since it launched in Dubai! The chefs and store manager – Yazen, particularly aim at inventing things that no other bakery has made or thought of.
A few weeks ago I had a tasting session at this bakery. Aesthetically it was not that pleasing as it was super hot in the bakery due to the Air Conditioner being faulty (Cluster Q apparently always has issues with their Air Conditioning) thus I sat at Hattab (the restaurant next to Sukar owned by the same person).
The tasting kicked off with drinks followed by desserts;
Sukars Strawberry Mojito – This concoction of freshly squeezed lemon, chilled sparkling water, mint and strawberries was all I needed to refresh myself completely from Dubai’s heat. The combination of sweet and sour flavors + the tingling feeling of the sparkling water is all you will too to kick summers butt.
Caramel Cream Mocca – A mixture of espresso, vanilla & caramel syrup blended with vanilla icecream and topped with whipped cream was good too, but not extraordinary. Caramel lovers would like this drink!
Red Velvet Cheesecake – For everyone who loves more cream and cheese in their cheesecake rather than only cake, this is the cake for you! The redvelvet cheesecake looks as good as it tastes. It is very rich, juicy, creamy, tasty and the quantity is sufficient! This was my favourite dessert throughout the session.
Nutella Popsicles – Way too much Nutella in a stick (not complaining). This popsicle is purely made of Nutella and topped with respective toppings such as Pistachio. Finishing one popsicle entirely is a task but Nutella lovers will surely love this treat!
Kunafa Cheesecake – Definitely one unique cake! If you love Kunafa and cheesecake, there is no way you wouldn’t like this one. This was as good as the Red Velvet cheesecake. The Kunafa flavor is prominent and compliments perfectly with the cheesecake. Make sure to pour the sugar syrup accompanied with the cheesecake to avoid dryness on the cake (as the Kunafa sprinkled at the top tends to make the top layer a bit dry).
Banoffee Cake and Pie – I’m not a huge fan of fruity desserts and definitely dislike Bananas. My friends loved this one, so I’m sure many would love it too. Bananas + Toffee has been a popular combination ever since, do try this one out if you’re a fan of either.
Molten Chocolate Cake – The cake was already broken before it came to my table + there was icecream placed on top of it. Thus, the dessert was quite messy, too(ooo) molten/runny and I didn’t really get to try the ‘cake’ part of it.
In conclusion: Sukar house has a lot to offer, they have a wide variety of cakes and always keep experimenting with different flavors. The most intriguing flavors I came across at their store was the Raffaelo, Kunafa and Baklava cheese. Most cakes are made to order only.
They have the most delicious red velvet cheesecake. Must try! Their Blueberry cheesecake is good too. Plus their home delivery is really prompt.
Love their different kind of cakes. Place is small but it is okay! Staff are helpful, smiling always and attentive. The portions are good for 2 person and the slice are little bit big.
It was my daughters first birthday and i didnt know who to go to someone recommended sukar and to tell you the truth they made me proud.
Very professional service called me bk couple of times i talked to the chef and he delivered what i wanted with only one exception i wanted the fondant in a lighter green than what he made me but it didnt make much of a difference!! thats enough about how it looks cause to me a cake is how it tastes
The cake was very fresh the sponge the filling the taste was just right not too sweet and datk chocolate

Amazing cheesecakes, one of the best in town! Try their Ferrero Rocher cheesecake, it comes with a lovely Oreo crust (if I am not mistaken). Also, this wonderful dessert spot has home delivery!

You will find me and hubby in this bakery every weekend. When it comes to choosing a cheat meal, Sukar is the ultimate. The cupcakes are easily the best I have ever had (the Snickers one in particular) and the cheesecake is out of this world. The baker makes a superb crust for his Ferrero Rocher and Oero cheesecake that really does the job.
Service is incredibly swift and friendly. My only complaint is that they often do not have all varieties of cheesecake available. This is both a sin and wonderful at the same time as they make everything fresh and unfortunately just run out, refusing to make new cakes that are not completely fresh for the next day.
There is nothing so extraordinary about this "sweet" place at all! Yes - they serve good desserts but nothing that most other bakeries don't offer.
We visited here after a heavy lunch at Star Fish. The staff was courteous enough to take us through what was on offer - they have very limited variety! Amongst the 3 items on display, we chose to go with the Banoffe Pie and Caramel Pudding(read as Cream caramel in their menu). The Banoffe Pie was quite good and the Caramel Pudding was just right - neither too slimy nor too sweet.
They have a very good collection of books to read if you are dining in house. It would indeed be a pleasant experience to read a book sipping coffee in front of the lush green park in front of U!
A sweet trap for lovely desserts! To be honest they are awesome with their cheesecake and cupcakes. When it comes to banoffi pie they are yet to improve. The pie is more of choco caramel over banana. There is a lil window to be better. Keep up the sweet work guys :)
Wow I am in big trouble - just picture this; me with a Heavenly Caramel Frappe and Banoffee Pie! I love my pies and this place has one of my favorites . Will definitely be coming back to try some more!
Amazing Awesome Place!! Keep up the good work guys.....I loved everything...absolutely everything (atleast of what I ordered). The Decoration of the place was simple and Punchy, The outside seats were really odd to eat at so I would recommend to eat inside. Nevertheless having a drink like Lemon and Mint and sitting outside was great.......Will be back with my family soon.
Prices are high But I feel it always removes your chocolate or dessert craving and always brings you for more.
I would recommend adding a TV with sports!! Perhaps Boxing, American Football or even Basketball. Make sure it's actual live or recent games people will always visit you guys that way. The shop perhaps looking tiny, but it is indeed really sweet. My favourite so far is the Banofee (hope I write it correctly)
I'm not a big fans of cupcakes, so I never tried their cupcakes, but heard many good things about the cupcakes from this little shop. The shop might be tiny, but they are full with sweet surprises. They do marvelous customised bday cakes too.

This place is a tiny piece of heaven for those of us who have a sweet tooth.
Taste-wise: One of the best bakeries in town! I have tried their Banoffee pie and red velvet cupcake. Red velvet cupcake was perfect, soft and creamy! Banoffee pie was a new experience for me but from the ingredients I could tell it's yummy: pie crust, dolce de lece (sweetened condensed milk that has been cooked for hours till it's caramelized) , whipped cream and your choice of either sliced bananas or strawberries. I fell in love immediately and every time I go back I try hard not to order them again so I can try something new but I just can't :( sometimes my husband doesn't feel like having desert and I end up buying both just to eat half of each and save the rest for later, I guess it's becoming a bit of an obsession LOL
However, as delicious as their goodies are I think furniture wise they have failed.. I mean this is a place where you want to sit, have a nice cup of coffee, indulge in some cake and savor the guilt free moment, it would add a lot to the experience if the furniture was a bit more cafe friendly, like sofas or softer chairs rather than the wooden "grab a bite and leave" chairs. They have a little corner of books, which I thought was a nice touch so again this is just a minor suggestion :)
Bottom line if you're craving something sweet you should pay them a visit

loved loved loved this place. got dragged by my sister (her review is around here somewhere) when I was in a terrible mood and this place is so cutesy, I felt a million times better after. that strawoffee pie really helped even though it was too chocolate-y for her, I absolutely loved it. definitely recommended for those with a sweet tooth, or needing a caffeine fix. good service which is hard to find in Dubai. can't wait to go back, will have to find a way to hoof it to JLT but this place is totally worth it.

last night I tried the Kunafah Cheese Cake, a smart delicious mouth watering fusion between the famous cake & the yummy Arabic dessert..
Another fusion, which is the baklava cheese cake. A great work as u can immediately taste the baklava, & Whatta taste!!! It took me right away back to a sweets shop in old Damascus..
Man!! Such an original flavor. However, being a cheese cake fan as well, in this one u don't get sense it, as the baklava takes over. Which means the Kunafah cheese cake wins.
Other than that, there are too many kinds of cheese cakes, Kitkat, Oreo, and a bright orange Mango one.
trust me, it's calories you're never ever gonna regret..

I really love this place. They have great coffee and fridges packed with amazing cakes with interesting flavours (my absolute favourite is the snickers cupcake, with actual snickers bits in the sponge). I must say I'm particularly hard to please when it comes to desserts (especially cupcakes) as I'm a very enthusiastic baker and these are the best cakes I've tried in Dubai. Good amount of frosting to cake ratio, flavoursome and moist sponge, great flavours and all wrapped up nicely in a cute little shop with the friendliest staff. Absolute must try!
Try the carrot cake. Divine! One of the best carrot cakes I've ever had. Dense and rich. We were also given a complimentary double chocolate cupcake which was great. it was rich and almost brownie-like. I think we would have liked it better were we not so full from the carrot cake already!
Sukar House of Desserts is a nice cozy little bakeshop with a lot to offer. I ordered the famous knafe cheesecake, the banoffee pie (with strawberries just to try something different), a fresh fruit salad, orange juice and a cappuccino. The knafe cheesecake was to die for, they gave a sugar syrup but I honestly liked it best either way. The cheesecake was crunchy and had the right consistency since the biscuit base had an extra layer where you can actually taste it with the cream cheese. I liked the orange juice it really did taste homemade. My mom loved her cappuccino, plus the coffee came with latte art heart which was pretty cool. The fresh fruit salad was great, I liked the cute strawberry that was carved, that was a nice touch of fruit art. The banoffee pie was really nice too covered with chocolate sauce. I also got a red velvet chunks cheesecake to go which was incredible just as good as the knafe cheesecake. Overall this is a must check out.

Few time I went to Suker The house of Desserts. They got the right place. There ides and service are every good. I love the simply and nice service. Sometime they joke. They are nice people as well as nice and different cake.... I like this place... happy to spend the money on them.... :-)

Cute little place for coffee, breakfast or lunch! Lots of sandwich and light options, great we had chicken toasties, Spanish latte and iced tea.
Reasonable prices, the only downside
is if you need the bathroom, you must use the public toilet and it’s gross and not clean.

Bakers street is a cute little cafe in JLT,offering some organic goodness.Loved their Salads,Sandwiches,Quiche,Smoothies & Coffee.Chick pea & Goat cheese salad are yum.Turkey & beef sandwich are highly recommended here.Everything was fresh and delicious.

We’re so glad that we found this place. You will fall in love with the creative interiors and the amazing hospitality by the owner himself. They may be a pretty small venture but they have thought of everything - cosy surroundings, The restaurant layout is neat, not congested, and the lighting and lamps and the wall shade was sober and soothing to the eye. with white rustic wooden furniture that adds serene to the Ambience, and loads of stuff you can purchase like in house healthy breads, really nice and well-made coffee and a well-done menu that even has a wide variety of vegetarian options, which we really enjoyed a lot.
Their menu is inspired by English and European classics which includes freshly prepared breakfast their exquisite salads, scrumptious range of toasted sandwiches, and baked potatoes. Great coffees along with fresh juices. In addition, they also offer a range of pasties and desserts too.
Let’s talk about the food now – All our dishes were exceptional.
We tried the following Goat Cheese Salad, Baked potato, Sun dried tomatoes with Rocket Fusilli-Food was finger licking good. Aromatic and delicious.

Baker Street is a London Themed Café in JLT, I highly recommend,We went for a family lunch and everyone really liked the place. The interiors are simply outstanding, as soon as we entered we really were amazed by the ambience of the café. It had everything you expect from an English café , the smell of the fresh breads, Actual Books (Everyone's Fav. Sherlock Holmes), Cute little souvenirs, Café had so much natural light it actually brighten up the mood. Its quite unique and felt authentic.
About the food, I can say in few words - Absolutely delicious
We tried Chicken Avocado Pesto Sandwich, it was perfect sized, made of fresh bread, filling was very generous and looked and taste amazing. For Pasta we had Sun Dried Tomato and Rocket Fusilli, it was excellent. We could really taste the ingredients adding upto a delightful taste.
We also had the Chicken and Mushroom Quiche which was too good. For drinks we had Lemon Ice Tea and Fresh Lemon Cucumber and Mint and they were refreshing. I would love to visit them again. Will try breakfast next time. Enough Parking Space in Front of the restaurant.

Awesome place and food. I was there with my husband and friends. We all love this cosy place, the decoration, the staff, the music, and the food oh myyy was so tasty. And there is a wide range of healthy options - I had a quinoa salad with sun dried tomatoes it was 😻. I highly recommend this place.
