Superb food, I’ve tried a lot of dishes here and they all are amazing, and a must try is the Karela n Bhindi masala in veg, and their chicken gravies are lip smacking.

Hidden gem in discovery gardens great food must try the dal makhani Matka awadhi mutton and the Kheema their naans n Roti are great loved the food would def recommend the the place and surely go back. Well done keep it up for the freshness and the personal touch of the chef owner
Recently being renovated the place is nice calm and quiet. Perfect if you want less disturbance. Their Naan are pretty great. Do try the Chicken white karhai. Also morning Parathas are pretty good too.

Desi restaurant is quite new in Discovery garden. I was really amazed by the food quantity and an awesome tasty food. Being a personal trainer my choice of outside food is very limited but in desi oh man never had a son tasty meats and rice items before..

Desi taste! The name itself says it all. I had ordered for tandoori rotis (I realised that I should have ordered less because they are really big-but never mind, they were very good) and a chicken karahi. The chicken was very well marinated and cooked and the karahi was very tasty. I would love to try other dishes of theirs soon.

Recently visited this place for the first time. Quality of food is really good. Ambiance is fine. They have introduced pakistani style Chargha which is mouth watering. A must place to visit.
The restaurant decor is normal & simple . The waiting staff was quick & we ordered Fried Fish & Chicken Biryani. The king fish used for making Fried fish was real fresh & yummy. It came with french fries/ rice as accompaniments. The biryani was simple & again a good portion as compared to cost. Overall good food at very reasonable prices .
Desi taste is good for daal moong masoor, daal makhni, qeema aloo/matar, mix sabzi, bhindi, aloo gobhi. Full stop!

I have the experience of dining out at Desi Taste Restaurant and i found it exceptionally good as far as the Asian food is concerned. Fresh n hot spice food amazes u when u r super hungry :) i always njoy having dinner here
An economical place to dine at, family friendly, there are separate dining arrangements for families. Very neat clean and tidy. The food tastes good but can do with improvement. It is above average tasting but the service quality is excellent and it was a good experience dining here. The desi tea tasted excellent and I would recommend it to all those looking for a nice hot cuppa elsewhere to give the one served here a try. As for a suggestion to the management, kindly switch the sooji halwa colour to either yellow or none instead of the orange/pink. Revisiting soon.

Desi Taste is a taxi driver joint in Discovery Gardens. It's not fancy but don't let that discourage you from trying this place. Outside of the usual suspects in Karama, this is the best Indian/Pakistani food I've had in Dubai. I forgot to mention the best part. Besides having good food and portions, it's dirt cheap. You can eat very well there for under 40 AED. I recommend their Mutton Nawabi Korma and any of their delicious Biryanis.

The most underrated restaurant in Dubai. You must give it a try. The food tastes very homely. The signboard outside the restaurant gives an impression that it has something to do with Chinese food, but this is desi as it gets and well suggested by its name. The chapati is just as cooked at home and if you haven't tried the chicken awadhi matka then you're missing something.
