We have tried their bentos and those were nice.
Although they have fewer options for main dishes but with reasonable price and entertainer, the meal is good.

My colleagues and I went here for a quick late dinner and I'm glad we did. Loved the bentos specially the sushi!! 😋 Totally enjoyed the food we ordered and kudos to the staff who still took our orders even if it's almost mall closing time.

It is a food court in a mall, nothing special however very clean.
The only thing I didn't like is the long wait to place the order as the staff on the counter was asking for mobile numbers from people; so they can enjoy discount next time. Discounts are always great but they need to come up with something different and not holding the line as the person front of you is thinking if he/ she will leave the mobile number.
The go-to Japanese fast food restaurant of Ibn Battuta. Situated next to Carrefour, Sugoi has been around since 2009 and they know what people crave for when it comes to sushi and sashimi. Check out their Loyalty Programs, Gastronaut. Their menu has a lot of variety when it comes to Japanese cuisine and exciting bento boxes, which you have an option to go to for noodles or rice. My personal favorite is their tempura and prawn panko.
Their marketing is extensive from Entertainer and Mashreq. It’s great value and will suit your to-go attitude coz you do not need to wait for your hunger to be satisfied.

Sushi portions are great for the price. The wasabi is not so fresh.
Review bases on delivery. food comes hot and packed well, 45mins time and came 6mins earlier.
Order dish is bento 4 woth sushi orange and miso soup. 3 pcs of sushi, sushi made very nice. miso soup is filled with seaweed and tofu, nice taste.
Main meal the prawn panko is soso due to thick soggy flour, firied chicken wings, um..... over cooked. beef......chewy...... noodle......the udon quality is not good.
I think... I would order sushi next time but not the bento anymore.
Great Japanese style fast food. Love their tiryaki chicken bento. The flavours are good. The prawn tempura were delicious. For sure coming back for more. Follow me for more food adventures
I always like their salmon, their suchis are good but u better wait for them till they make it cz if u take it from z fridge it's very cold that u have to wait n wait n wait till z temperature becomes acceptable. But overall food is very tastefull
My first time at Sugoi, but definitely not the last. Ordered the Bento 4, which came with Prawn, Chicken, Beef, Fried Rice and some Salad. I paid for my food at one end, and got my order at the other, with absolutely no waiting. I was a bit sceptical seeing how fast it came, but the food was good. The Prawn and Beef were amazing with that slight charred taste to it. Seemed a bit steep at first for 40bucks, but the portion I got was definite value for money.
It's a nice restaurant among other Chinese outlets. We have ordered Bento, Teriyaki salmon, Tempura rice and chicken Katsu with rice.
All dishes was nice specially their rice.
Their staff who served Ms.Lea was very friendly and helpful.

Review: Love how this Japanese restaurant is so wallet friendly as most Japanese restaurants are usually a little expensive, especially when it's just your typical California rolls. I can understand that quality makes a place pricier but sometimes you just need to turn to an alternative that may not be bad at all. The rolls here are decent, even though its food court quality, it does it's job at making my stomach happy. The bento boxes has a great selection of items and the taste is good. With the sushi & sashimi combo, I do feel like it isn't the freshest, but you can't expect too much when you decide to eat at a food court for Japanese food.

Service: Had to acknowledge the staff behind the counter first. The food came out fast.
Ambiance: Located in the food court if the IBN buttata mall. The counter was clean and the sign was easy to read.
It's one of my usual choices when I'm leaving JAFZA for lunch break or visiting the mall for shopping. I love the chicken black pepper with noodles. You can also give a try to their seafood.
I am no more using zomato. So my reviews will be delayed friends.

Nice sushi over there plus the wasabi is pretty good. Not bad! There were some negatives however: My food was a bit too cold, not the best tasting crab, etc. But overall I quite like it!

After a long day of shopping, the hunger was enormous. We wandered aimlessly for a place we hadn't tried before. I was sick of fries and fast foods and the bam Sugoi appeared. The ladies at the desk were super friendly and explained the dishes to us and make some really good recommendations. I ordered the Salmon Black Pepper and my friend the Bento 2, which is rice or noodles with your choice of either beef, chicken or veg and salad.I wasn't expecting the food to be this good. Really delicious and tasty. The salmon was to die for, so tender and juicy. There's nothing worse than dry salmon. This was amazing and not salty at all. The Black Pepper sauce that it came in was amazing.The Bento 2 was good. I enjoyed the chicken, it tasted a bit tangy. The beef was a bit hard but I loved the garlic and onion infusion. Really nutritious tasting food. When eating take always, I am often laden with that guilty feeling but after this meal I was so full but in a really good way. My taste buds were very pleased. Plus the orange juice here is amazingly fresh and only 10AED its a must try. The only issue I had was the noisy food court. Argh I dislike food courts but alas I was tired hungry and had to make do with what I had. Thanks Sugoi Team. I will be back
Decent place for a quick bite located in the food court at Ibn battuta mall and offers Japanese cuisine.
So the seating area is basically the food court itself, so nothing special and I think that is the reason it's not many people's favourite.
Service is very good, staff are quick at taking orders anf the tray is quickly filled and you are on your way. Food wise, I'm not an expert on Japanese cuisine because I don't have it much, but my order tasted good, I had a bento lunch deal, consisted of 3 pieces of prawn, chicken wings, beef and steamed rice. The entire meal was healthy and not too heavy comparing to other asian restaurants I've been to.
Liked the place but not sure its worth going to for a proper meal.
Black Pepper Salmon with Rice and Chicken Skewers!!! Delicious Japanese food. We went for the healthy non fried version. They do have the Panko fried and Tempura fried prawns etc for the caloric indulgent. They have some sushi assortments that seem valuable, but oh the Black Pepper Salmon is certainly worth it!!
Actually I have tried sushi in many places in Dubai and I would say that Sugoi in Ibn Battuta has the best taste compering to others,in fact after I purchased quite good looking sushi from MOE I stopped eating sushi for almost a year ,have no clue what was wrong in it but I couldnt think of sushi anymore.
So Sugoi is my favourite for a long time. I found their soup a bit too salty but it became better lately.
Have you tried how salty miso soups in other restaurants ?? so please..

Fast food sushi, but good when you are in a rush. Pepper chicken is also one of my favorite dishes in this food court. .....................
