I have loved this place ever since I was a teenager. The smallest cafes have the best food. I got the chicken shawarma, falafel and the hummus . One of the best hummus I have had in UAE.

Great food, great price, you can’t ask for anything more. Best Arabic food, mix grill is our favorite and you really don’t need anything else.
Our favourite place for lamb chops. The Mediterranean food is amazing. The falafel was hot and yummy. The meat hummus was awesome! Not very expensive and one of our favourite place at Karama.
THE best lamb chops in town! Marination is on point, and enough meat on the bone unlike some others I have tried. And what’s great is that it’s easy on the pocket. A winner!
I am a huge huge fan of Damyati Kababs , ordered for their 1 kg meat Kabab which was freshly prepared and served to me within 15 mins of time , it was served with salad , garlic and hummus . The Kababs were lovely as always . Staff people were quick in their service as well .
Mixed grill is good. We can try one time. Affordable in price. Simple and best in economy and taste authentic Arabic style cuisines. Variety of dishes we can try there.
It’s not a fancy spot but the food is delicious! The chicken is a must and the lamb chops! I am not a fan of falafel but definitely a fan at this place! They serve you your own individual plate of hummus which is also yummy! Great express family lunch or dinner spot! Can’t wait to go again and munch on more lamb chops!

Visited yesterday with family and had the Hummous, felafil, Lamb Kebabs and chicken shwarma. Food was really good just the lamb was not cooked properly. Will try out the rest soon and recommend to others.
This is the place where you get the best Hummous in Dubai. Love every bite of it. Even their felafil is tasty though now the price is same but the size if reduced. Chicken shewarma is okay.

At that time it was huge and very much traditional look
Now it is located behind the Karama Day to Day shop
Food : Good and well served - Their kababs are very much good and well served
Parking : A bit hard to find a parking slots especially during weekends
Ambience : Still they maintained their old style - looks and ambience of 80's nd 90's
Price : Reasonable
I've been frequently heading to this joint for many years now, to fulfill my Manakish cravings. I believe this place to be better than Al Reef - food wise. In terms of ambiance and decor... There isn't any, as the place is very small and I too go there many-a-times for take away. But for their pricing and quick service, I rate this place highly! 😍👍🏼

A very old cafeteria. Have been eating from here since so many years as long as i can remember. In love with the different kinds of Manakish they make. The best one which i always have is Olive with Cheese Manakish. Absolutely yummy. Its so fresh and tasty. The dough is also freshly prepared same time. Baked in an oven to absolute perfection. There is no place to sit n eat. Just a takeaway place. A must try.

Its a very old restaurant that serves good and resaonable grills. They give hummos with every plate of grill. They also have great sandwiches.
We had ordered breakfast at work and thanks to one of our colleague who guided us for the wonderful breakfast which was appetizing, filling and reasonable...it included chicken, egg, hummus, chick peas, salads, falafel, eggplant veggie, pickles and unlimited breads...
"Tried the Lamb Chops, Hummus, Arayes, Shish Tawook, Grilled Chicken. Chicken is above average but the Arayes and Lamb Chops are superb. Absolutey amazing taste, I have never left a restaurant with so many lamb chops in my stomach. Really great hummus and just next level lamb chops and Arayes.
Ambience: A very standard and non-fancy arrangement. Comfortable though.
Service: The service is slow but I think it is worth the wait. The staff is great though.
Food: The food was great. Everything tasted amazing and the food was served beautifully.
Location: The location was easy to find. Parking is plentiful in this area as well.

These guys are totally awesome and they have been doing what they do since a long time now. Value for money is one thing but taste is spectacular and they really do hummus right. I mean I have eaten here for more that 20 years, I am sure.
They have over time increased price probably but kept the quality which is still good
I usually order by the kilo here like last week ordered a kilo of Sheek kebab and they were delivered hot and steamy. @100 a kilo u get tons of bread. Followed with hummus mutabal salad pickle. I mean a complete set.
For me these guys have been the best kebabs for the buck ever.
Try the kilo lamb chops. Deadly. Or the arayes no one does it like them my staple in every order.
So yeah to sum it up. If u are in but Dubai and want a good kebab that's ur place.

Since very recently I hadn't heard about damyati, but when my friends kept ordering their hammous and garlic and it is out of the world.
I haven't had hommous this good and creamy. Perfect texture and taste, comes with the right amount of olive oil in it and melts in your mouth.
They give big portions of hommous and garlic with it with complimentary salad. It's a must try place if you're look for some real Arabic hommous.
I can't believe that I've never heard of this place until recently. The mixed grill is just plain amazing. Also ordered the lamb chops which for its price is quite good. I'm in love with this place and definitely going back to this place again and again.
Very old place known for their kebabs in the lanes of karama. This place is good for food not for ambience. The mix grill platter and grilled chicken with garlic sauce is something out of this world. It gets you in a zone. Ample of parking available around the restaurant. Service is fast and they serve complimentary hummus with pita bread. Good food.
The best Lamb chops in Dubai. If nothing else, visit Damyati for their excellent lamb chops. Everything else is strictly average. Location in Karama is not great either.

The kebabs are succulent and cooked to perfection
The arayes are succulent, well baked and flavorful
Their Abu Al Houl is a mash of hummus, foul, scrambled eggs, and meat chunks, must try if you believe in variety.
The only downside to this place is the rather basic ambiance. Its quite basic with plastic chairs and usually noisy families (like mine).
There is a seperate seating for men, so if you fancy a quick bite you know where to get it.
And after all that hardwork, wash it down with a generously over sweetened tumbler full of mint tea
As someone mentioned, the main issue here is that it could become difficult to converse. But that isn't a problem as the staff is friendly.
The food is delicious here and well priced. It doesn't burn a hole in your pocket. Have tried the meat and cheese manakish and the zaatar and cheese so far, but it wasn't as great as the ones I have eaten in Abudhabi, but still definitely better than most bakeries I have tried out in Dubai.
Will go back soon to try out other dishes as well as I have been told their arayes are great.
The best chicken shawarmas one can find in dubai.. in 14 yrs i have never had a disappointing shawarma here. Felafel sandwich is also pretty great. All the years of knowing the management i have always gotten free felafel. :)
I really like this place: but one caveat: they only speak arabic. They have this egyptian pizza/ pastry thing which is soooo delish and costs like 6aed! How did i order? Lucky for me the few times i have been there: i see it coming or going for another customer and i just signal that i want 'same same'. Awesome value for money.
Definitely one of the best Arabic food places in town. Loving staff. Well cooked food. The homous is the best I've had ever. The homous sandwich is very filling. Overall a nice place. Once you've been to Demyati, you do not generally like another Arabic food restaurant.

I have been visiting this hidden gem for a very long time... Initially it was for their falafels then it became for their hummus and then for their arayes and finally for their lamb chops... And now I eat go there and have it all... By far the best lamb chops in dubai the best hummus is Dubai... The service is great the place is a bit shady but I love that about this place... Location has changed from the main road to the inner roads to a much nicer seating now... All in all if u haven't tried this place you must go there..it's places like these that make Dubai food heaven
I have had Damyati a lot and I can clearly say the the food that is produced here is just marvelous , especially the arayes !

The food at Damyati always brings back memories.
The restaurant was next to World of Fish and Baskin Robbins on the Karama Centre Road. The dessert used to come from their bakery, which was across the road and I was surprised to find that they had moved to a new location in the road perpendicular to their old location.
I remember times in 2006, when the mix grill, which was excellent and quite substantial, the grilled chicken was tender and juicy, the shawarma was excellent and the mutton chops are probably the best in Dubai. The hummus is delicious and fresh and the garlic paste was bursting with flavour.
Walked in to the restaurant in the new location and was pleasantly surprised with the excellent and friendly waiter who didn't speak much English but took down our orders efficiently. The hummus arrived in minutes with plenty of khaboos and a rather sad looking salad.
But I didn't come here to eat salad, and when the main course arrived, it didn't disappoint at all !!!
Brilliant food Al Damyati. I'll be back !

One of my more regular restaurants. Average interiors , polite enough waiters and pretty good food for the price required.
I always grab a chicken tikka sandwich and have not been disappointed with the way they make it.
Go in here , if all you are looking for is a quick delicious bite to eat on the way to somewhere important!
This small cafeteria is located in the vicinity of Karama post office, where you can find numerous restaurants and cafeterias offering variety of cuisines and can charge a good amount. But if you are interested in a quick bite which you can relish on the go please drop here. I have seen very few cafe with such a short menu which is budget friendly and relishing altogether. Freshly made manakesh taste so good specially when the bread is thin and you can have them here. So do drop in and enjoy.....
