The food was good and as described and the delivery was on time. Just need to be considerate with slight packaging details for delivery but otherwise its a great restaurant to order from.
I’ve been ordering from oriental box for quiet some time. They have fast delivery, good customer service, tasty food and just an excellent touch. I have rated what I ordered below:
Thai fried rice: 6/10
Schezwan fried rice: 9/10
Pad Thai Noodles: 7/10
Exceptionally tasty food. This was my first experience with Oriental Box and I strongly recommend to all Chinese food lovers to try them once to expereince their quality. Overall a good addition to Motor City Restaurants.

Prompt, polite delivery. Prawn crackers have a slight bite to them. Fried rice and chow mein favourites for the kids. Dumplings were large and full of stuffing. Sticky rice /mango - probably the best I’ve tried in Dubai
Much like their caption, they truly deliver happiness. Ordered some Kung Pao chicken and spring rolls for lunch and I must say its one of the best budget friendly, handy food options in the Motor City vicinity and I'll definitely recommend this as a good lunch option for those on the go

Review for food delivery: food was delivered on time, i had put an instruction to make the food spicy, i am glad they made it just how i like it. I ordered a veg thai fried rice, i loved it, it was flavorful very much like authentic. Will definitely try again. Packaging was really good. It came in a box, no spilling, the portion was huge. Reasonable price.
Their Nasi goreng is always on my order. Pecking duck and few other dishes are my common orders. Though he duck is not the traditional recipie (I may be wrong) I still enjoy them.

Delicious food! The flavours are subtle, spice balanced (not in your face) taste spot on! I loved the Burnt Garlic Rice & the Thai Veg Green curry, simply awesome. The Hot pepper Chicken was ordered hoping to have something really spicy but it was ok, so was the case with Schezwan Noodles. Delicately prepared, Keep it up chef👍🏼
Was seriously unwell yday and just wanted a soothing soup and something simple to eat. The wonton soup was perfect and the Hakka noodles were comfort food to make myself feel a lot better. Plus it’ reached earlier then expected and as always even their delivery packaging is great.
Tasty as usual, but chicken lettuce cups were ruined, it looked like porridge - lettuce on one side, minced chicken on another
Great food, great delivery times, great packaging although the sauces should be wrapped in cling wrap as they always seem to leak.

I love how the meals are packed in a convenient way. The lunch combos are value for money and all the food I've ordered from there has been fresh and tasty. I prefer the green / red curries over dishes like the Pad Thai. unlike other places, when you order prawns you get a good quantity of fresh prawns.
We are a regular to Oriental Box and have never been disappointed with their food nor their service. What was said to have been 70+ minutes for delivery, when I called to see if I could collect it instead, they actually managed to have it at our house within 45 of placing the order.
Our favourite order: Crunchy Beef, Crunchy duck in basil, pad Thai and Chicken in sweet and sour sauce.
Crispy beef fantastic as were spring rolls as was the chicken chow mein. We didn’t try any Thai but we were very satisfied by the quality and size of portions - to be recommended...:-)
We have been ordering from here for over 2 years and have always enjoyed the food and have had no issues. Great Chinese takeaway in motor City in my opinion.

After yesterday's terrible incident of receiving mushy fried rice, the team at oriental box had a look at my unhappy review! I was quite surprised to receive a call on the same day around 8pm from Mr.Emad he inquired as to what went wrong and what I was unhappy about. After all the explanation, he accepted the mistake made by the restaurant and assured me it would never happen again to anyone, but in addition to that he wanted to deliver a meal for my family on behalf of the inconvenience caused. This was a generous and unexpected gesture by Mr Emad and his team! He called me few times to ask if there were any allergies and if we liked spicy food, we just had a chicken combo meal delivered. Again I would highlight that they are good at serving a great amount of shrimps and chicken in their rice dishes. The Manchurian chicken was lovely and had a tangy ginger flavor to it! I would like to thank Mr Emad and his team at Oriental Box for proving that they can serve great food and to not let first impressions get to you. I will be ordering again to see if they will meet their standards like today. 👍🏼👏
I tried lunch box for weekends.., which made my day a pretty cool, worth it to have fried bananas with honey and sesame seeds toppings..was really good to have.
My husband and I have recently moved to Dubai from Abu Dhabi so we are exploring all the new (to us) restaurants in Dubai. Our favorite food by far is Chinese and we are so happy that after trying many mediocre places, we have finally discovered Oriental Box. We have ordered takeaway from them about 3 times and they have always delivered on time. We also love the nice boxed packaging and everything was piping hot. We absolutely love the Chicken Hot and Sour Soup and the Chicken Corn Soup. We have tried Kung Pao Chicken, the Chicken Spring Rolls, the Hakka Noodles and the Stir Fried Broccoli and were very impressed. This is now our go to for takeaway Chinese!
We've ordered here in the past, maybe about a year ago. Food wasn't that great but we thought we'd try it again. So happy we did! We were very pleasantly surprised. We ordered the sweet and sour chicken, chicken pad thai, and chicken satay. Before the sweet and sour chicken almost had a taste of ketchup, but it was perfect this time. The chicken satay was some of the best I've had- perfectly cooked and moist. And the pad Thai was yum!! Will definitely order this again. Cheap and tasty :)
Big servings, so it's worth the price. Delicious Food. But they forgot to deliver my prawn crackers but after I informed them, they delivered it, realizing their mistake.
Must try: Mee Goreng
In case you're wondering, Chicken Katsu Curry is already served with jasmine rice. I made that mistake and ordered separate rice, they should say that in the menu. Not the best curry though. And prawn tempura is not worth the price. All in all, we will still try the other menu. 😊

When I first moved to IMPZ, I had no idea of all the new restaurants I'd be trying out and that is exciting. Wacht out all you delicious (and not-so-delicious) outlets.
I am a fanatic for anything new and Oriental Box came up on my cross-fire. I placed an order online and sat on the chair waiting - seriously, I didn't do anything, just looked at the ceiling (there was a mosquito I wanted to swat lolll).
After 45mins of wait, the doorbell rang and I was greeted by a strange delivery guy. Honestly, if I wasn't in his way, I think he would have entered the apartment. Dude, personal space please.
The way the food was packaged reminded me of buying an Apple product, clean and tidy and organized.
I ordered the mixed fried rice and the chicken dumpling (those 2 are my basis to decide whether a chinese place is good).
The portions are pretty generous and the taste tastified my taste buds and the visuals.
I enjoyed the food while watching a horror movie (Jason vs Freddy) love horror movies.
Oriental Box, you get 2 thumbs up for portion, price and delivery (but please inform your delivery guys to give customers space and get all up in our grill!

Excellent delivery. The food is good too. Nice Chinese food not exceptional but good food. Tried the fried rice and black pepper chicken and it was really nice.
Ordered in for Lunch ! Read the reviews and took the advice given and stayed away from the spring rolls. Ordered the Thai Red chicken curry the chicken Hakka noodles egg fried rice and the cashew Nut chicken.
I cannot fault any of the food and the packaging was extremely good. The Thai Chicken was particularly good. My only critique would be that the portion of jasmine rice accompanying it was small. The Hakka noodles were also fabulous.
Overall a good experience.
The person who answered the phone to take the order needs to be better organised. Wanted to call back for zomato cashless payment, and then did not call back for 20 mins. Delivery time of 50 mins is not acceptable given that I am in the neighbourhood.

Yummy food, so low on oil. Good balance of flavors. And an interesting menu. Tried their veg manchurian , tofu in ginger honey sauce and egg noodles.
They have a really good duck stir fry with red paste and when delivered it is very neat and pleasant to the eye, you get our money's worth. However I did place an order during lunch time and the standards were not the same and I tried it two days later for dinner and it was back to normal. I don't know of they have a different chef for lunch or dinner, but there's no consistency between the two meals, apart from that it's pretty good.
I find this place my go to solution for stir fry, a good Nasi Goreng and their Thai red curry with jasmine rice is my idea of comfort food.
Best and most affordable Thai/chinese dishes in the area for delivery. Always fast and fresh... spring rolls , wontons, fried rice and curries are all good.
Good food however not typical Indian Chinese it's slightly bland.Service is good they deliver on time.I have ordered many times and I am happy with the food in general.
Really amazing food. Tastes authentic and restaurant quality. The food comes really fast and it comes in rather efficient container boxes with large portions. Unfortunately the food is too expensive.
Delivery does take long but the food was delicious.

Delivery might have been slow once, but every time we order they come relatively quick. The food is good, and I've never been disappointed. Don't always listen to what you hear because myself and a few others love their take away!
