Because it is national day today! I have decided to have some Emirati breakfast, so I've searched and found this little cute Cafe.
Over all experience as my first time is good, despite they are busy with order for delivery they manage to served my food on a timely manner. I've got balalit along with regag bread and karak. I did enjoy the food and the serving was also a lot, so I would recommend to head along with a friend 😁🇦🇪

We are always ecstatic about arabic food and treats..😋 And this restaurant in Al Barsha called Localawi Restaurant has shown us that there is a lot to explore and to appreciate more this middle eastern cuisine.😉☺️⭐ Also, by the looks of their cute and cozy food place; I can say that it is a nice place for a fun dining experience. Their walls are adorned with quirky artworks and beautiful antique-like pieces. It was also colorful and vibrant.

💕❤️👌We would also like to thank their very courteous and hardworker female staff who cheerfully took care of our orders. I just wish, the male staff can be a little hospitable and of more help to their customers who travel very far to reach their place.

🙏I love a number of food from their menu. I am. Delighted with their cheese samosa. Plus, their all-day breakfast meal was also good. 😉😘I love how the eggs were properly cooked with some sumptous spices and tomatoes.

👌👏💜Their beef burger is also a plus point for me. They use juicy patty and that nice firm Khameer bread. This is awesome. 😉⭐They have a bestselling saffron cheese cake.. Which by the way is delicious. Definitely a place to try amazing arabic food. Keep up this good food....
Came here with a friend visiting from Abroad for our friendsiversary and really enjoyed the food. I wanted to introduce my friend to local food and am glad I came here. The regag and chabab are perfectly baked and the place is cosy and small. Keep up the good work!
Had been to this place yesterday for lunch ... was looking for a different arabic experience apart from the usual shawarmas and falafels .... n man ! I wasn't disappointed at all .... found this quirky place on zomato ... it's affordable n tasty ...
This small restaurant is serving a lovely local food,, i recommend the harees and the aseedah

So I came to know about LocalAwi through zomato all by chance. But guess what ! Good things happens out of coincidence.
Went here this morning for the breakfast. We ordered khoboz khameer stuffed with falafel and khameer chicken burger and kadak chai, all of it was really good specially the kadak chai (chai lover ;-) ).
To summarize it's decent small&cozy place with inviting ambience and great staff. Definitely worth a visit to try some emirati delicacies.
Food was fantastic, staff are friendly and generous. We were a big group and they managed to deliver great food. Ambience is nice, although the restaurant is a bit small in size.
If you go in with the expectation that this is Emirati fast food, as they advertise, then you won't be disappointed because that's exactly what you'll get in terms of both quality and pricing. I'm a big fan of local cuisine and this is great as a quick fix. Had the chebab with the cheese and honey and the regag with egg and cheese. There are a proper Emirati restaurants with better quality, but you'll pay accordingly. Also, I don't know of any other Emirati fast food places, though I'm sure locals would.
Really good traditional food, the food was very tasty, the keema has all the right spices and great flavor, balaleet was really good, can’t really mess up Chabab but that was also tasty, regag was slightly chewy but still good, the paratha tasted like it was freshly made, and the cheese sambosa was crunchy on the outside and soft and creamy on the inside. The only thing that wasn’t good was the harees, Definitely a miss on the texture, should be more sticky and not more like porridge, the portions were also very generous.

I personally enjoyed the cheese samosa and the dynamite shrimp wrap.
Comfortable ambience. Clean joint. Friendly and attentive server. Nice music. Delicious dynamite shrimps reqaq. Good portion and fairly priced. Khameer burger is very tasty and is of good size and price. They serve very good karak too. Would definitely return with the family.
A little hidden gem in the centre of Al Barsha that will definitely want to make you come back over & over! All the food was freshly made, nothing was frozen which is so rare to find in restaurants in dubai! Hence we loved the samosa's both cheese & vegetable were fabulous! Our favourite was the chips Oman paratha which will definitely want to make us go back! The menu offers from full healthy lunch options to small little snack foods to enjoy with their delicious drinks! We tried the oreo milkshake which was yummy! look forwrd to going back to try the pistachio & saffron milk:)
Luv the food ❤️ very fresh and tasty. Regag with cheese & honey + banana caramel chebab were both yummy! Samosa also tasted good & not oily. The saffron karak is excellent 👍🏻

Most fresh and authentic Emirati food in all over Dubai, glad I found the place. I tried the luqaimat, khameer, chabab ..... Too bad they don’t reliever to my area.

It’s a normal day for us and we are had this sadden curiosity of Arabic food, we tried biryani, kebabs, so this time we want to try the “Emarati breakfast”
So we decided to look for a place where they serve Authentic Arabic Breakfast. And our research lead us to Localawi, to you guys! ❤️
The place is a hidden gem, along Hessa Street, Al Barsha with parking spaces. A very cosy ambiance and you can feel the “local” feeling whenever you get in.

Small place located at al barsha 3. Hearing from a friend we visited the place to try emirati food.
We tried localawi khameer chicken Fajita, this food must be eaten hot! The chicken flavor is good, not too intense for my taste bud. We also tried samosa which is my favourite, the dipping sauce is unbelievable. For the dessert we had luquimat which is crisp balls coated withdate syrup. Date syrup is the game changer for luquimay. For the drinks we had Namlet 😁 yhe first soda in uae.i love the way namlet is designed. So cool. Over all i love the place. Small but cozy.

My favorite Emirati snack food in Dubai. Tried their Regag, Paratha, Logaimat and Karak all is a must try. My favouritr so far is Regag with Oman Chips and Cheese.
Location: Barsha 3, a bit far from the metro requires a private car, bus or cab.
Ambience: Colorful, Hip, traditional emirati breakfast joint with a modern twist. The concept is one of a kind.
Service: very friendly and accomodating staff!
Food: local burgers were the bomb! Its so nice to see how innovative they are making burgers out of local breads.
Overall: almost perfect except for the location.
Best place for Emarati food loved the food especially the harees and the milkshakes i came here many times because i love this place i come here with my family almsot everyday and i enjoy every bite of the food
