My first in this place was in 2015. I could remember the steak salmon I ordered was truly amazing. Now, it's iftar and we enjoyed their foodies and sweets but most of all, the beautiful and very welcoming smiles from Ram, Rowena and staff.

Went to have buffet there. Vast variety of spread. All types of food available. Even softie ice creams were there. Love their starters more than main course. Good ambience. Family friendly.

Ponderosa is one of my favorite buffet resto in Dubai. Affordable and good choices of food on the buffet table.
I actually celebrated the first birthday of my daughter here back in 2016 with 70 pax bookings, but more than 80 arrived, Was quite busy but they served us well.
They have chinese food, arabic, indian, tacos, nachos, good choices of Salad and drinks, desserts are really amazing with the fresh fruits options and umm ali as one of my fave.

Been there with some friends, its a fun place to eat, mix your own tacos and salads. but not much varieties. my fav part is that they have all you can eat ice cream and drink ice tea. there taboule salad if you mix it well with lemon and salt becomes better than many arabic restaurants.
Always amongst the top choices in my family to go for a gathering or a mini- party. Visited recently to celebrate a birthday. Good food, though the menu in the buffett hasn’t changed since many years. Nice staff. Buffett food gets replenished quickly, so customer dont wait on empty buffett food. Taste has remained good over the years. Enjoyed the 20% discount on the buffett rate 😊

New Years Eve..evening..I was craving for something Chinese. Ponderosa was the one we picked cause it is near to our house. I went for the combo meal which has Egg Fried Rice, Chilli Chicken, Potato Wedges, Apple Salad and Banana Cake. Chilli chicken was my favourite out of these. Banana cake was perfectly cooked. Fried rice was just ok. It was worth the money.

I cannot forget the day when I was introduced to the food called Steak. The succulent piece of meat with good fat content, minimalistic seasoning and yet full of flavors. Since that day there was no looking back for me.
What I love most about Steak is the way it can be customized to one’s palate. From the selection of meat, to the way it is prepared, every step, gives you the flexibility of choosing how you want your steak to be. Some people like basic seasoning of salt and pepper while some prefer it to be marinated, others want it to be cooked on the grill while some want it to be fried.
From rare to well done, Steak is a treat in whatever form you prefer eating it.
Steak is one of my all-time favorite food. I have been reviewing food for last 3 months now but somehow, I could not do any restaurants that do steaks until recently when I got a call from a restaurant called Ponderosa Steak House. Yes, the classic American steakhouse, now in Dubai.
This cowboy-themed restaurant is in Dubai for the past six years and they serve some of the best steaks in town. The best thing about this Steak House is that if you order a steak from their menu, then your buffet is completely free which includes a selection of delicious dishes with unlimited soft drinks and ice creams.
I ordered a Ribeye steak with baked potato and mushroom sauce. I like my steak medium well and it was prepared exactly the way I wanted it to be. Perfect cut of meat with the right amount of seasoning cooked on the grill. It was Super juicy, tender and chard on the side. What more can I ask for?

Ponderosa is one of our favourite dine out place and we are frequent visitors of Ponderosa Caravan. They are very popular for their steak. The last time I visited was last Friday for lunch. I had ordered Chicken Steak. If you order a steak then the buffet is free. I like their buffet even though the dishes are all the same all the day. I like their Chilli Chicken, Nuggets, Umali, Salad bar, etc.
Its a good place for a dine out as well as for conducting parties as well.
Its a must visit restaurant.
My overall experience with Ponderosa is always excellent.
Very confused why the place has such a low rating compared to the food they provide. The steaks aren't all this-is-why-I-love-meat but yeah they aren't too shabby. Much better than a lot of places out there. A good place to relax and catch up if your in that area, food selection is pretty good and the complimentary buffet is a major puller as well. Salads, tacos, soups, lasagna, spaghetti and lot of other stuff to choose from. Decent desserts as well although they let you make your own cone ice cream through the ice cream machine, that ones a big plus. Over all good value for money spent, would definitely recommend trying it out. Heads up, they do have a parking space btw right next to the joint for free if you can spot it and find a space. A small honk sometimes helps to catch their attention if they are on the phone and if your holding up the road.

Best steaks in town. Good portion well marinated and cooked as you wish. T bone well done with pepper sauce and mash potatoes and gravy can indulge your mouth to its last meet on that sizzler.

I am really surprised why the rating is so low for such kind of restaurant. Been to Ponderosa quite a few times and always liked it. Although instead of introducing more main course based dishes, the chef always emphasize on salads and desserts.
Its a must visit place for me and my friends at least once during Ramadan period and always loved the service. It consists of a nice seating area.
Basically you can categorize Ponderosa as one of those restaurants which services good deal of salad and appetizers which includes nachos, tacos, buffalo wings ( my favourite) and they are best when served fresh.
Drinks are included within the main buffet price as well as ice cream( which is most of the time melted ). Tried rib-eye steak and grilled chicken once, I must confess, wasn't impressed.
However, overall, its a good restaurant and its been there in Khubaisi for a while so why not give it a try.
P.s parking is paid and when you are visiting a buffet restaurant, must put 2 hour ticket rather then one :P.

I ordered the T-bone, it was good - but the meat was not aged, so it was a little chewy (not tender).
Overall, it was a good experience.
The food is just hand down delicious. A large variety of meals and snacks are provided. The only down fall is the high price other than that the food is just sublime!
Yummy food ! Returned here after 7 years , still the same great taste . Off course the ice cream was at its best ! A great place for kids bdays ! They should minus some of the salads though !

after many years they have still managed to maintain their quality of food! the
prices have gone up - but then its gone up every where.

buffet is the star of the show. Just go and get that. We had a large group and
2 ordered steaks. Steaks were OK nothing to complain about, but not memorable.
The buffet on the other hand was great. A large selection of items, chinese,
salads, soups bottomless drinks, tacos,nachos, icecreams and desserts. The quality
and taste of everything was excellent. Only thing I can think of was the cream
of mushroom soup was too watery. Filled up on the one of the best chicken wings
ever!

cleaner – they were having a party next door (Caravan restaurant) probably that’s

Their buffet has many selections. I just noticed most of the selections were greens/salads and chicken dishes; baked chicken, chicken nuggets, buffalo wings, roasted chicken.
They also have tacos/nachos. Some arabic selection too, like fatoush, hummus, umali (dessert). Lasagna, fried items like nuggets, potato fries, fried cauliflower, fish nuggets. 2 kinds of soup. Fresh fruits, jellies, apple cobbler, choco cream are some of their desserts. Drinks are included too. All in all, it was a fine buffet. Nothing so much special.

Amazing atmosphere, feels like home, great food that satisfies all tastes and needs as well as great and friendly service from all the staff. It has recently become my new favorite place. So many good memories made here. 5/5 you'll love it!

Let me start by saying that im addicted, its opposite to Caravan, smae place same owner diffrent type of food, pandarosa is an amazingly open buffet of different type of salads, it contain also so chicken, beef(lamb) and fish different cousins( philipinas, indin, European, Russian, Arabic, Mexican american ... ets) you'll get the options for a steak also but i didn't like it much and the open buffet which you'll get it free with the steak if you order it or take only the open buffet, sweets (um ali and otheres check the photos)and drinks (cola all tupes, limonade and cold tea) are included
Prices different from week days to weekend (weekend higher price) at the moment of typing this review i pay 49.something in the workdays and 60.something in the weekends ( they have a discount for the weekends for some companies like Emirates platinum so check with them)
Place are clean staff are amazing and supportive.
*there is a great service for birthday parties, so check with them.
Overall its an amazing place to go to

What it was and what it's now the place has been taken to a level with service and menu's. Postcovid it's a great achievements I have witnessed been a regular to the place and more lot of things been adopted by the new manager in place Ravi. He's a great PR with all and hospitality is practiced a lot and done the changes. So with great confident s I'll recommend the place for individual dining or for big occasion's.
