Staff are very friendly and helpful, they serve food very quickly and the food is tasty and fresh and in big portions. They have different variety of oriental food that matches all family members. I really enjoyed Fatah and rest of food. Thanks Sett Al Sham team.
Good staff , they treat customers very good
One of my best restaurant
The food here is great the arabic bread prepared here is soft and tasty you should have food in here instead of take away. Not a great place to sit and have dinner seats could have been managed better for family.
The renovated place looks quite clean and spacious
They make you feel comfortable while ordering also suggest if you are not too much into Arabic food
Ordered hammus and falafel sandwiches ( considering this as basic items to gauge a Arabic restaurant)
The service was quick and the food too was good
The sandwich we're having a good fillings and ingredients we're fresh
The hammus was smooth and tasty
Will sure reorder and try other items from the menu
For spicy food loving people this not the kind of place
Best Arabic restaurant ... fatteh is the best I tried ever ... shawarma is sooo delicious ... sfiha is the best in Dubai ... don’t forget to try mixed grill and hummus and fattoush
Delivery time was acceptable and the quality of food was good
Really tasty food. Recommend
The only reason we visit here is for the Mango Strawberry Juice.
Freshly prepared and reasonable priced, we usually do a takeaway of it. Their Shawarmas are pretty good too.
Will review again once other dishes are tried out.
Better than average. .had a good experience.
Food Quality:3.5/5
Quantity:4/5
Service:3.5/5
Value for money:3.5/5
Ordered:
Chicken Charcoal:
Was huge. Taste was ok. Could have been better if they would have used more spices. It was a but dull. But it's ok.
Orange juice:
Good but they forgot to deliver straw.
Overall thus might be the best outlet of Sett Al Sham.
Tried their charcoal grilled chicken. Fairly big, good taste and decently priced. It also came with french fries, two small packs of hummus (which tasted good too), and two mini packs of garlic cream. This is the only thing I've tried from their menu; will certainly be trying a few more in the near future.
Nice and clean Arabic food. Big variety in the menu. Definitely need to try some of their other foods. Shawarma and grills are excellent. Will order the broasted chicken next time!
Loved the options they have, the meat shawarma are awesome and they also provide catering services for parties. My only complain that some times they don't deliver the food on time.
Tea time craving for Falafel was fulfilled by the ordering thru Zomato. Delivery was quick. We thoroughly enjoyed Falafel... Hot crispy and soft from inside. Tahina and pickles added to the taste.
Grape leaves were bit dry and the filling was bit hard as well.
I'm looking forward to try more items.
Another find via Zomato online - I ordered their mixed grill and chicken broast meal. The mixed grill honestly was one of the best within the price range - the proteins at most Levant restaurants within a 40-50 AED price range for mixed grills are very often over cooked, dry lumps that need a heavy dose of fat or hummus to add some moisture; the grill from Sett Al Sham though was moist juicy and the meat would melt in your mouth...
The broast meal though - I thought it was better KFC than KFC but man was it salty...
Small , few staff , not easy to find if u r not from Al Warqa Area . Takes sometime to get the food prepared ..However i crown it the best Broasted chicken in Town, Quality and Freshness wise , once you try the Broasted Chicken you will definetly want to try more things on the menu.
Their daily dishes usually are well cooked and decent in portion. They just need a little. I see potential in this place to grow .
Recommended : Mahashi ( Daily meal) , Mandi , Broasted chicken and Shawermas, And on a Special Note ..The Jordanian Mansaf is Spec-tac-u-lar
Note : Falafel is over priced and you expect more from a restaurant that represents Syrian food.
Still would recommend it , i like how friendly the staff are and how they like to maintain their Hygine.
Good small place in warqa , they make one of thr best shawarmas , and you got to try . Muhamara halabya" their home delivery is not bad too they come on time food is hot . But i never find a parking space there or a place to din in . Its like you are sitting in the street so best is to take away your food or order from home.
best sawarma and best sauce they have, friendly staff and owner.
Finally a decent arab shawarma in this area! Tested with the basic saj shawarma in meat and chicken which was good. Felafels not so good. The felafels were made of chickpeas I think, which was too dry. I love my shawarmas in saj rather than khubz and this was it. Decently priced menu. Will try more soon. Service on phone to place order and delivery staff were cheerful and professional. Which is a big plus with the record in this area.
I am surprised that such an excellent place is having just 3 stars as its rating. This place deserves much better rating, hence i give 4 on 5 rating. I mostly order food from here. I love the way they cook the Grilled Chicken. The size of the chicken is pretty good with a good serving of french fries and Hummus (Hummus deserves 5 on 5) along with Garlic Paste, Kubbus and pickled vegetables.
Grilled Chicken is very evenly grilled, meat is very easy to tear, very well cooked. Thought of the Grilled Chicken reminds me of this place and waters my mouth.
Brosted Chicken is also fairly good enough, but I guess this is not something which you want to delivered to your place.
I suggest that one must try this place out whenever you are around Mirdif area.
Honestly the best shawarma in Dubai! 👍🏼
Great taste and fresh off the grill. Very authentic Arabic cuisine!
Only issue is they take a bit of time...but it's worth the wait!
Great shawirma. Budget friendly meals. Great for working people who don't have the time to cook. Tasty daily meals.
This is Syrian restaurant. I am Syrian and I should be in a very firm position to give an opinion.
Well, this place is 5.0, but I am giving 0.5 less for poor air conditioning inside AND 0.5 less for a no-so-clever location.
You cannot judge this place by it's class, I mean it is a take away restaurant, with only 8 chairs inside.
The only important thing about this place can be the quality of the food, and this place is GREAEEEAAATT!
The Shawarma is the utmost best in the UAE and I am sure 100% of that.
The Broasted Chicken (pressure fried chicken) is as good as it can be, as if you are eating it at the best places in Damascus.
The tabbouleh (very sensitive in terms of craft and hyegene) is excellent, so when a restaurant offers good tabbouleh, it means the chef is a quality guy.
I've been at Sett AlSham before and I was superbly hapy to hav been there today (we were 7 people and had a GREAT lunch).
The 2 shortcomings are:
1- Poor air conditioning inside.
2- The location deep in AlWarqa makes it hard for people to find the place.
The beef mansaf is yummy.
منسف اللحم لذيذ جدا
أكلات شامية رائعة .. و ممتاز للطلب .لآن المكان داخل المطعم صغير.
الطعم جيد لكن السعر غال بعض الشيء
