The rich, fatty beef in special blend of spices is just a treat for any kebab lover. Seating is an issue here but you can grab some takeaway always.

Chapli Kebab the name just makes your mouth water. It’s just pure gluttony if you want to try this along but hey I don’t mind. The minced meat in spices with onion, tomato and chili and then fried in oil or fat is like hitting the high octave in music. You just don’t want to let it drop.
And the Peshwari Kadai what a simple, rustic dish. It doesn’t use any kind of complex seasoning and yet it’s so delicious.
They have a family section. Do try their chapli kebab.

The chapli kababs are a must try here. It has the perfect amount of spices and super moist as well. The naans were also served hot.
The food is good and easy on the pockets as well.
This place is popular for their chapli kebab and typical Pakistani breakfast so we decided to take lunch from this place and it turned out to be pretty good 🙂
We got mutton seekh kebab which was amazingggg and bbq mutton karahi which was just okay as few of the mutton chunks were a little hard to chew but the taste was good
So overall it was good experience
You should try their qeema paratha, paya and channaa as well in breakfast time
The chapli kababs are to die for. Oozing with moisture from the fat content they are simply finger licking good. special recommendation to try the chapli kababs with pulao rice. A very delightful combination. A very low profile restaurant but the chapli kababs are the most authentic in town
We went there for chapal kabab, it was good, simple, soft, juicy wiyh red chilli flacks ... Karahi was also good, nan was soft, kulfi was also available :)
I have been to this place 3 times and till now whatever i have tried was very tasty.
Their magaz masala is awesome i love it. Aloo ka paratha in breakfast is one of the best in this area.

My best go-to restaurant when i am craving yummy desi daal and the best chapli kabab !
with crunchy fresh onions tomatoes cucumbers etc sliced to our liking
and lemon to sprinkle on our kabab !
along with chilled cold drinks ... and fresh naans available at any point !

Hands down one of the best restaurant in Dubai if not UAE. From the price to the taste to the quantity.
Price is fair and is accessible for almost all people.
Taste is probably the best part because it's authentic grill and fried lentils is near to perfection.
Quantity is also fair as from one dish 2 or 3 people can easily eat.
I would recommend this to everyone ;)
Probably the first restaurant I had food from when I came to Dubai 10 years back. Our whole family loveee eating food from here. We love their Chapli kebab , Dhal gosht and everything. Pocket friendly and Super quick take away parcel is done. The dine in area is not family friendly so have not been there but my husband have had and he says it's not bad at all. He has even brought our friends from the US, who are not so used to desi or spicy stuffs and they reallly loved the food. 👍🏼
Chapli kababs are the best in town...a bit overpriced in dine in but alternatively u can go for takeaway as they dont charge extra for it. Only chapli kababs are good over here.
Chappli Kabab, seekh kabab, and Daal Chana, is what we had. Very well done, and good value for money no doubt.

This place is a real gem! When u r broke and looking for a fat belly this is a must go place! Headed with few of my friends and ate alot of chapli and sheesh kebabs ! It was one of the best I've ever tasted on a budget.
What epic food they serve , I just love the food of pathan restaurant . You cannot expect a good ambience and professional staff from this place but when it comes to the food . Omg they are truly one or the best Pakistani restaurants in dubai . Decided to go for dal mass and chicken tikka along with tandoori roti . It was served within 5 mins which is pretty quick . It was excellent in taste , I have been quiet regular to this place and I am sure they will always be one of the best economic places in dubai ❤️
If someone is hunting for original Peshawari taste then Pathan is the place where you can enjoy cost effective and great food. Mutton Tikka and Sheekh Kabab are just great. Chappal Kabab are not like as Peshawari but still worth to try.

I've tried almost everything from there menu, and i can easily say, one of the yummiest food have ever tried.
If you are looking for some cheap, good food and without caring about the condition of the place then this is the right place.

Overall: This is a pure Pathan hotel in Dubai which you should try.
You cannot go wrong with Pathan if you are in a mood for super cost effective food and don't want to spend too much yet with a taste that you will not mind. Their menu is very limited ambiance is hardly anything but it is clean with a small family section the restaurant has been recently renovated. Overall the food and taste is worth every penny but just want to say that this restaurant and food is not everyone's cup of tea. Good luck
Was desperately in the mood to have the Afghani Pulao and initially headed towards the Pathan Restaurant Ras Al Khor branch. Lucky that I called up ahead and confirmed they were out of Mutton so rerouted to qusais.
Reached 3pm and ample parking was available. A totally bachelor restaurant thus family ill-advised to visit unless feeling adventurous. The Afghani Pulao looked good although seriously lacked the sweet carrots symbolic of such dishes. The meat was deliciously soft and salty. Enjoyed overall but could have been a bit better in seasonings.
How much I love their food.
It's so authentic and no matter how many days you gave me fancy food, I'd always be happier to be devour the food served here.
The ambience isn't apt for family, but thank the lord for takeaways.
Their dal gosht, namkeen, the mutton and chicken kadhai and magaz is so amazing you can never have enough of it! I'm a regular here and will continue to be.
What can be said about Pathan other than what hasn't been said already? Amazing value for money and amazing Tikkas and Chapli Kebabs. Me and the family keep going back there regularly for it over and over, and it is without a doubt consistent and great value.
Brilliant Pakistani food at very pocket friendly prices.
The 'Seekh Kebab' and 'Namkeen Roast' are personal favorites. Service is speedy, hot rotis are provided instantly. They have 'Seekh Kebab' during lunch as well, which is a rarity.
Seating is basic, as you'd expect of a place such as this. Not a place you'd take your family too. Parking available in front and around the corner.

If you are looking for spicy food then this isn't surely a place for you, however if you are for some tasty food then Pathan restaurant has few items in their basket for you.Chapli kebab are on the top, Biryani on Fridays is the favorite of all, Roast is another dish that is different from all other place.The prices are very reasonable.The staff is courteous and the place worth to pay visit.
Today was craving for chapal kabab and found this pathan restaurant, i was surprised with their food quality its mouth watering deliciois, i ordered nihari, chapal kabab, it came with small plate of chana daal, seekh kabab, all food was delicious and came very hot specialy roti was piping hot, i enjoyed their food very much, their menu prices are unbeleaveble compare to their food taste prices are very low, staff was very friendly and accomadating, awosome experince, recomended for pakistani food loveres 👍👍👍
Very surprising food , had Chapli kebabs , Dal mash , ALU Gosht and seekh kebab . very very surprised . Amazing value for money and very good service . A very decent cup of tea ended the meal as well . I would call it a meat eaters dream . Some marks off for a not so clean look and feel . But all in all much better than most chain Pakistani restaurants

Chicken tikka - was superbly marinated and rich in taste..
Seek Kabab - Again v well mix if meat and spices. 4 large huge pieces. We had to mkae it take away as we couldnt eat all.
So - i was in our Dafza office and the food court had options which looked either too clean, or way too oily so off we went exploring Gusais to satisfy some (desi) hunger pangs and ended up at Pathan Restaurant (while the restaurant itself spells it as Patan restaurant).
We ordered a plate of channa daal, chicken karahi and pulao with a tikka on a side. Started with channa daal and chicken karahi and quite surprisingly, they were really good. Better than many other restaurants in the same price range and not as oily either.
The pulao though was a bit disappointing - the rice seemed stale and the chicken tikka felt quite old. As if it had been cooked the day before, then frozen and then pan fried for us - simply awful.
Rounded the meal with some Karak and got a bill of 41 AED for two.
Tikka wasn't the best but no complaints....
This restaurant I like the best is chapali kababs. They are the best and delicious. Amazing I am a fan of their chapali kabab , roti and dal. chapali kabab tastes more good with rice and dal too. Very strong flavor I love their chapali kabab.

Need to let the world know if you are looking for Chappli Kebab, this is the place for one of the best Chappli Kebab. Chappli Kebab comes from northern part of Pakistan. These are beef kebab marinated and fried in oil. They have two more dishes to try, Namkeen Gosht (salt shank of lamb) and afghani pulao. if you really want to enjoy the food without being too fussy about ambiance go for it or otherwise take it home. you will love it.
For a small place like Pathan, the food they offer is shockingly, amazing. I love the chappli kebabs. I've had them so many times. The meat is thick and juicy. They are not too spicy, but have the appropriate amount of flavor as well. The dal gosht here is ordinary, what you'd expect from a mediocre place.
Since I've never been inside the restaurant, I can't comment on the service.
Price wise, they are pretty cheap and affordable. We can say that they do not compromise the quality, looking at the prices they have to offer. The chappli kebabs here are just priced at 9 AED each, dal gosht 11 AED and the tandoori rotis are 1 AED each. We also get a salad, raita and dal with our meal.
Definitely recommended if you're craving Pakistani cuisine and want something that's pocket friendly.
I can vouch for Pathan anytime. I used to stay in the next building and this was an easy resort for Dal roti. Their Chapli Kababs are just too good. So is their Chicken Tikka, Dal and mint raitha. In the mornings they have Paaya and during Ramadan its loaded with delightful Jalebis :). Pathan is a simple eatery with not so much of a menu. But whatever they serve is fresh, tasty and pocket friendly. This restaurant is for the ones who enjoys simple tasty food and not for the ones who are looking for fancy ambiance.
Tried the chicken tikka, mutton tikka and seekh kabab. When I saw the photos on the menu card, I expected a generous serving of each item, but the portion of chicken tikka was disappointing, it was just a single piece of thigh and leg, the rest were fine. But they all tasted nice, especially chicken tikka.

If you are craving for some good melt in the mouth Chappli Kabab, Patan is the ONLY place to go. Focusing on the ONLY because my hubby who is a hard core meat eater and a total foodie when it comes to anything to do with Kababs, we have tried all the different sorts and varieties all over Dubai, but never came up with anything anywhere even close to Patan's Chappli Kabab. It is the juiciest, melt in the mouth kind of Kabab. A small, no-frills joint, with a separate seating area for families. Just go there and have the Chappli Kababs, it comes with an accompaniment of Dal (Chana or Mash), free Salad and Raita. The Tandoori Roti is also freshly made and piping hot when it reaches the table. The fluffy Roti with the Spicy Dal and the Chappli Kabab makes it a wonderful combination. The service is good too with the waiters wanting you to eat a tummy full. They kept asking us if we needed more Roti or Dal. My Dal was so yummy that I had to ask for extra serving which was free too and slurped it all down with the Kabab.
I am extremely happy to know that I can satisfy all my Chappli Kabab cravings in this small joint at a very minimal price. We had ordered two Chappli Kababs, 2 Rotis and 3 Chicken Tikkas. The total price came up to AED 50 for a family of 3. Very very reasonable with awesome food and good service. Hats off to you guys.
Being from dubai marina, I found the prices insane and knew something had to be wrong.
But the tikka, daal and mutton biryani were all very good. And service was excellent too, although it wasn't exactly rush hour at about noon.
Big fan of your Chapli kabab. Last time the guy at the counter offered me peswari green tea while i was waiting for my takeaway percel and it turned out to be really good...
Must try Dal mash & chapli kabab, also peshawari kahwa, sitting arrangement for families are ok its highway pakistani dhaba type restuarant with delicious food.

Although the ambience is not so perfect for a family meal, but who really cares when it comes to taste and of course, one can always opt for the takeaway option! The peshawari kababs (serving: up to you), seekh kababs (serving: 4) and chicken tikkas are amazing! Chicken kerhai is just okay but Namkeen ghosht is good. The size of the naans served is also big enough and one should be good enough for one person.
Cost for 2 can be AED 35-50
Do try the recommendations once and I can assure you will go there again!
The Chapli kabab are awesome the chicken Tikkas a very good .....the food is very taste , good for take away as its not a great joint for family eating .... It's worth a try for the money .....
