They have a wide variety of Kanji for dinner. Thairu kanji is my favourite. And I love their evening snacks and samovar tea

Very nice spot for evening chats. Decent parking and elegant crowd. Cheapest fresh milk tea in Karama and it is worth more than the cost. Fun place to talk, chat and mingle with friends after office hours.crispy south indian snacks. Good service also.
They serve excellent tea. I am visiting Manchatti with my friends very often now. Pleasant ambiance. Hygienic. Affordable prices and cheaper compared to other restos in Karama. Excellent service
Heard a lot about this place and decided to give it a try and since then has become a regular. I tried most of their major dishes. From ‘Kanji Combos’ to ‘Noolputtu Biriyanis’. And they are all phenomenal. Oh, and its partly owned by our very own Chackochan. The “Kanji Combo” is the star of the show. Its a rice soup to people who don’t know. Served with Chutneys, Thoran and Pappad. My personal favorite is “Muringayila Kanji”. Cherupayar Kanji is great too.

New restaurant max 1 year but located in karama ideal place. Not much expensive and serving good food and food portion
Manchatti is one of our favorite hangouts where we go sit down, chit chat and get our food served by Ajul who tells us exactly what's a great combo and customize based on our need. Fish items, egg roast, parotta, kulukki and everything that we tried here is super tasty and affordable. The tea snacks are a must have. Go and enjoy this little shack.

This is a long pending review. We have been there a few times and never got disappointed. The place is usually crowded on weekends and sometimes you would have to wait outside till space become available. One of our favourite places in Karama. Simple, value for money and it takes you back to childhood days. Typical Kerala porridge varieties served in traditional earthen pots are their speciality. Not to forget the beef fry and kallumekaya. Very courteous staff and good service. Keep up the good work and food quality. We will be back hungry for more..
This is our regular hang out place for breakfast and meals. The food here is decent and is freshly prepared.
I just had the the masala dosa and idiyappam with chana today. Their coffee and tea are good too. Would suggest trying it. Very affordable and good service.

Was curious about this place while passing through Karama. Had their snacks with tea. Tea was one of the best around this area and priced at AED 1.5 ..and the snacks were quite good considering being priced at 1 to 2 AED. The service was prompt.
The place is small. So gets filled fast. All the waiters are well trained. Great service they provide to each individual needs. I had a my 1 yr old baby as well and they were attentive with her as well. Good kerala food served in a different manner.
This restaurant came highly recommended for their excellence in food quality and taste. So we visited them for dinner on a weekend and we sure weren’t disappointed. They usually serve all diners with pathimuga ver water, which I love. We ordered the
Chicken Stew (Highly Recommended. The stew had the perfect balance of flavours. Complimented both the appam and parottas very well)
Fish Chatty Curry (Highly Recommended. Filled with flavour, the fish was soft and cooked to perfection)
Irachi Puttu - Chicken (Must try. Something very different than the regular plain puttu)

Egg/Plain Appam (Must try. The appams are prepared in the live counter and served immediately.

All the items are well-portioned and served in earthen pots, as the name of the restaurant suggests. The service is quick and prompt even on a busy day. Pocket-friendly prices. Overall, a very good experience.

Beef fry was above average but the quantity was poor.

We have been there and had trademark main course which is moha kanji. I should say it's absolutely delicious and even the parip kanji also is fantastic . The authentic taste , ambience and very friendly service of management will recommend for another visit
Just been with the whole family here. Lovely friendly staff and owner(s). Great service and even better food. Loved every bit of it and a great ending to our long Eid holidays. Highly recommended for their amazing Kanjis and sarbaths. Most of all the service was simply outstanding. Well done guys. Keep up the good work. You have some new fans in the hood family.
Decent food with very reasonable price. Best place to have quick bites. Good place for breakfast and lunch. This is my tea place generally. Have tried dosas,appams, idiyappam , chicken nadan curry, chicken ghee roast. All items were good enough
I loved their chicken roast, wheat dosas, fish Mango curry which was creamilicious, samosa, wheat parota. Affordable prices, indoor and outdoor seating, a bit slow service at peak hours but worth the wait. Recommend to try atleast once and decide yourselves. Would love to visit again and try out other dishes.
Superb food and pocket friendly . Must have tried out at least once and pleasant area with homely service . The lunch served really value for money and many dishes are unique . Better call and fix the menu will save time if we are busy
Been here couple of times. Good food with decent service and ambience and low cost. Tried Idiyappam, Kerala Porotta, Egg roast, Veg stew, tandoori tea and snacks. Nothing to complain so far. Would suggest this place to authentic Kerala cuisine lovers. One might complain about the quantity. However quantity is not less considering the price atleast for me.

Manchatti looked interesting from a distance but since the name did not immediately give out the type of cuisine they served we never took the time to go eat there. That changed when the other day I had to park around the area and we stepped into the restaurant.
This is strictly my experience and I hope this be yours too. They say the first impression is the best impression and everything else are then biased to substantiate that impression. So when we walked in we were greeted by this smiling gentleman who immediately spoke as if we had just visited his house. He got us comfortably seated at an outside table.
We took his recommendation and ordered Ammachi Chicken and Appam. I added Irachi Puttu to the mix. The chicken and appam came very quickly and we got busy with it. The curry was appropriately spiced and the appam, contrary to what you would otherwise get in Dubai, had a bulge in the middle. This is how we really make it back home. So was pretty pleased by them both.
This is approximately when the Irachi Puttu landed on our table. It is the best combination of puttu and a curry that I have ever come across. The taste still lingers in my mouth as I write this review. The meat in there was so well cooked that it never once spoiled the flow of food from the mouth to the stomach.
They either need to increase the quantity of the servings or have to stop making it so tasty.
On a subsequent visit, I also tried their Noolputtu Biriyani, it was also awesome.
Overall, I would highly recommend a visit.
Nice food quality, friendly place, Matoon Biryani was Awesome!!! Staff behaviour is very good, Sitting under the Tree feels good in fresh Air.!!, one must visit!!

Visited them for lunch and tried their meals. Good ambience and even though it was crowded we managed to sit comfortably. Meals served in traditional style on banana leaves , 3 side dishes fish gravy rasam pappadam and pickle with Red rice , overall was awesome with good taste. Tried Mackrel(Ayala) fry and they had good choice of fish fries, it was very tasty and fresh also. Will return soon there to try their dinner and breakfast items.
The only place that serves a variety of Kanji(porridge) that will take you to the land of backwaters. Ghee rice /beef curry / kappa biryani - they all taste true to its origin and never gives you the feeling of eating out at a restaurant. It makes you feel like I am back home in Kerala, very nostalgic. The balance between spice and taste was brilliant and I highly recommend this place.
This is a true gem especially if you love Mallu cuisine. We secretly hope it stays hidden so that it's not overcrowded the next time we visit! However this place really deserves a 5-star review for the food, although the limited seating capacity is a constraint; hence this review.
After a delicious lunch (main course of 3 types of biriyani: fish, chicken and beef), we ended up going back to the same place for evening snacks (പരിപ്പു വട, സുഖിയൻ, ഉഴുന്നു വട) that were equally awesome. To top it up, it was so affordable; you wouldn't believe unless you see the menu yourselves. Hats off to the people behind this venture; and our heartfelt thanks.
First time to visit for dinner.Seeing the crowd waiting outside thought of moving to some other restaurants.Anyway we got a warm welcome.Good customer service even though staff need bit more training.We ordered Chicken tharavadi,Beef poriyal,Squid roast,Mutton Stew,fried rice,porotta and appam.All the dishes were above average.Beef poriyal and Squid roast were superb.Very reasonably priced too.
They have variety of evening snacks.Tried pazhampori,madakku..both were good.

Came here to try tandoori tea, and was not disappointed. At 6pm , the place was crowded which is a good sign. Will come back for lunch/dinner to see how good it is. But menu promises a lot

It's a new kerala restaurant,tried their moha kanji,Beef fry,chicken poriyal,kulukki sarbath.Food is good with reasonable price.But the waiters need more attention.
Newly opened restaurant, gone with high expectations for lunch, good quality is good, service staff need to have more experience regarding the proper service. Will try with other dishes

Amazing.. delicious, high quality food with cheapest price range. Request to go for dinner and have special variety of "Kanji" ... Feels really nostalgic yummy!!!! Loved it.
