One of a kind caffe built on a life boat from Queen Elizabeth 2 ship. Great vibe to chill with family and friends.Pocket friendly and staffs are amazing. Must try their dynamite sandwiches.

What a hidden gem!<br/><br/>When you see this place, you will be taken aback because it is one of a kind. This small yet cosy cafe is built on top of a rescue boat of Queen Elizabeth II!<br/><br/>One of the first things you will notice here is the breathtaking view of the cruise ships which are docked right behind the cafe. Being the only restaurant in the vicinity, it is a peaceful and quiet place to dine.<br/><br/>Moreover, the restaurant is located next to the seaport hence you will notice a lot of people, including seafarers in uniform, passing by and dining at the cafe.<br/><br/>Docker cafe by itself is reasonably small, the outdoor seating is what makes up most of the seating area. The ambience is pleasant, the cafe has the names of the dishes scribbled on the glass panels and numerous bright lights around the cafe.<br/><br/>We started with Karak Chai to match the good weather. It was strong and had a fair amount of spices to bring out the Karak flavour.<br/>For starters, we tried the popular Dynamite Prawns which was served with an uncut bun. Being told this is how the seafarers relish this dish, we had the prawns with the bun. Although the dish was extra saucy (which would have been for the bun), the flavour was quite good. It was creamy and spicy and the prawns were fresh.<br/><br/>For the main course, we started with the butter chicken which was served with South Indian styled porathas. The butter chicken gravy was rich, creamy and a tad bit sweet. However, the host mentioned that they usually make the butter chicken on the sweeter side so that it caters to all customers.  But if requested, they can make it spicy as well.<br/>We also tried their popular Chicken Kadai Roll and  Chicken Zinger. The Chicken Kadai Roll was average in terms of flavour but the Chicken Zinger was delish and flavourful.<br/><br/>For dessert, they pampered us with Oreo Milkshake, Nutella Paratha with Banana and Lotus Spread Paratha. The Oreo Milkshake was the best one of the lot. The cool, creamy chocolate treat had a good blend and it was refreshing. The Lotus Spread Paratha was just as good. The crunchy biscuit flavour is a great way to end a meal. The Nutella Paratha with banana was good but in comparison to the other two desserts, it seemed to be quite average.<br/><br/>The service is good and the staff were charming and homely. The price range for the portion served is fair.<br/><br/>Overall a lovely place to visit if you are looking for quiet snack time with a fantastic view of the ocean liners.

If you’re looking for a great spot to chill with a chai and enjoy peace, visiting Docker Caffe is a must 💁🏽‍♀️. Loved the entire concept of converting a lifeboat to a cafe🤩<br/>We started off with the Dynamite Prawns that turned out to be spicy and highly flavorful in comparison to what other restaurants/ cafes offer. The prawns were really crispy too😍<br/>The paratha rolls are their most-ordered item and I must say the Butter Chicken paratha roll were so unique and super juicy!🤤 It’s definitely a must try once you’re there! For the desserts, we had the Nutella Banana paratha along with Lotus. If you’re a lotus cream lover, The lotus paratha is highly recommended! 😁<br/>I cannot explain the love I have for Oreo milkshakes (haha!). The Oreo milkshake here had just the right amount of sweetness and I loved it. <br/><br/>Overall a great place with everything priced very reasonably and the food quantity per serving is also good. The staffs were very warm, friendly and the services were great ! so will definitely stop by again.

If you want a place that is a bit secluded then this is a nice option. They have some nice snacks. <br/><br/>We had the chicken paratha rolls and they were good. <br/><br/>Dynamite prawns are really different here, and totally delicious. <br/><br/>Nice Oreo milkshake. <br/><br/>They have sweet parathas for dessert.
