Let me introduce you to 'scramble'. My all time street food dessert since i was a kid and can only be found here.

This is a filipino version of flavored iced shavings.
Just mix the entire thing and start scooping away. But i prefer this in a slightly melted version and sipped with a straw.

If you dont like the taste of powdered milk this is a no -go for you.

Their grilled chicken instestines is a must try. Grilled to perfection and no bitter after taste unlike other restaurants i tried.

Downside, if ur sitting inside, music is playing too loudly.

Dampa and Bodega are both our favorite dinner places during weekends. Last night, we ordered 2 dishes from Dampa and 2 from Bodega.

Bodega serves Pinoy street food dishes that are truly amazing! We ordered Chicken Isaw and Chicken Barbecue and we really enjoyed it together with the seafood that we ordered from Dampa.

I really love the place and food and will never get tired of dining here. The vibe is so cool and the servers are always attentive.

Delicious. Would definitely dine here again with my family and friends. Cozy, friendly, casual place.
One suggestion: place a bucket on the table for all the shellfish leftovers.

Bodega never fail to satisfy my pinoy streetfood cravings. I really love their fried isaw and scramble and everything. Their ambiance was street style like you want to take a selfie in all their murals 💗 i had visited this bodega for like hundred times and I haven’t experience anything bad. We ordered their boodle and cajun seafood boodle in theor partner resto Dampa.

PINOY FOOD AND SERVICE FTW.

Well been to Bodega on a Tuesday evening and the place is fully booked in a nice niche in Deira!
They play commercial music sometimes it is like loud so we can’t hear the other people on the table but we still managed to talk which is really nice:)
We loved the food a full chicken and meat hearts and sea food the drinks are just great and we were 5 there was too much food left and we had a bill of 300 this is like 40 aed per person!
I had to eat with the hands which was a new experience and I liked it with gloves:)
The place was introduced by Philippinos so it felt authentic:)
A place to try I recommend:)

Our first time in Bodega was a nice experience. My husband and I tried the Street Platter and Bulalo Steak. Being away from Philippines we really miss the street food. So we ordered street platter, the best sauce. We actually asked for another refill. And my husband, is craving for steak that’s why we ordered bulalo steak. The beef is soft easy to chew and sauce on it is very creamy. We really love it. We are looking forward on coming back here to try another foods. The ambience as well is quiet which is very nice since you and your companions can have a good conversation with each other. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

So we heard about this place serving filipino dishes street foods. To the curiousity we try to dine in eat here since the Dampa Restaurant beside them, and we're not too much cravings seafood delishes, so we choose to dine here. We arrived at around 9pm the place is just like an ordinary bodega look a like dim light and few people eating. We ordered the chicken skin, tokneneng, sisig and korean barbeque with unli rice and drinks. The food was great my hubby really like the chicken skin and sisig. He really enjoyed the food. For me the korean barbque taste was good. They serve it hot and fresh. We really satistfy for the food. Nice service too they give us what we needed. Thumbs up for the place. And mostly for the food.

Location wise its good but due to dey wer next to dampa this restaurant became empty i do know they wer run by same company .

For 149 aed for 2 i can say not bad at all , portioning was gud as well

Dat rnb dope music is an additional points for them to attract more guest .

Service wise - i kinda give them 2 for dat cause staff were less and not so enthusiastic about wat dey are doing .

On a scale of 1-10 i could give them 7.5 .

Be back for sure in dis restaurant .

Come here for their pinoy streetside-style scramble! Offering streeet foods and some modified mains (ie. sizzling sinigang) which tastes average if not below acceptable for the price tag. But if you order that scramble, you're all good and happy to have just passed by.

In a toss between Dampa and Bodega, I was outvoted 2-1 and Dampa won. The good thing though is that the two have the same owner and they are not precious about their respective space. As such, I got to enjoy street food from Bodega while eating in Dampa.

A jovial girl took my order and asked where we were seated. Later on, she herself brought our food and the change to our table with the usual warm "thank you."

Given we were also having food from Dampa, we only ordered those we missed a lot - crispy isaw (beef) and booty (bbq chicken ass). We also wanted chicken isaw but it was not available that evening. The crispy isaw was good; it was crispy and was perfect with the sour vinegar dip. We all liked it but kept comparing with another restaurant where the same dish we think is better. The booty was lovely. It was soft and juicy. The bbq flavour was not too strong which made us appreciate the chicken ass more. If only the chicken isaw was available. For sure, it would have been a better experience. Perhaps we can try that next time.

Favorite place to be, good food, good ambience, good music and good looking crew!

I could say its the only place I can get a decent isaw around dubai. Their chicken on the stick is hot among my friends.

How can I not order their scramble! Its a must in every dining experience. So good, it reminds me of my childhood days.

Once upon a time I used to eat glizzard and liver as street snacks and they were great, but ever since moving to a country that doesn't commonly serve that stuff, my diet has changed and on this occasion, I tried their seafood skewers which were great - shrimp, squid, clams and mussles grilled, all my favourites and cooked using my favourite cooking method.

For a majority of people around the world spare parts😀 of chicken like gizzards, feet, heart, liver and the likes are uncharted territory, enough to chicken you out or lend you cold feet! Bodega streetfood fits this bill perfectly!

I have been with the Nagaland people also called the Nagas in our Army fraternity for years and boy! They can eat anything flying except aeroplanes, anything swimming except submarines and anything moving, enough to give anyone the shivers!!!

So, a weird meal in Bodega was just another day in the office for me...thoroughly enjoyed all those spare parts!

What I liked most is the coke n can chicken... a chicken with a can of coke shoved up it's........ahem.....a*s!! I am sure the chicken didn't find it funny.....for the chicken s**t surely happened!!

For Filipinos missing streetfoods like isaw, tokneneng and alike, this is by far the best place to go. We have tried a few places and Bodega is our top of the list.

Ambience: 4.0 (It wasn't very cool inside)
Food: 4.8 (Everything was good. Special mention, the gizzard was well done and tender. The only thing we didn't like was the coke chicken as it was kind of dry and it would be best if it has the same flavour as the barbeque. Too bad, they don't have chicken isaw when we went there.)
Price: 5.0 (Reasonable for a place offering unlimited rice and drinks.)

The concept of street food ushered in a whole new level. A well thought concept, from interior ambiance, décor, music, (I know it’s a bit loud, but streets are supposedly noisy) down to the masterfully created menu. My friend and I were craving for some authentic Filipino street food and this venue came directly to my mind, since mouth-watering food varied with courteous service is exactly its all about.

And as for our order, Two of us opted for the colossal platter of whole chicken (seated, upright on a coke can), and assorted innards, sautéed and grilled in a skewers. It was supposedly for 4 people, so we ended up taking the leftover home (which they packed neatly in plastic disposable containers). Unlimited carbs (I mean rice) and drinks. They have a soft drink and ice tea dispenser on one corner. So you can indulge yourself to the max.

Slightly pricey considering its street food, but the experience was worth it. It’s not like competing for Fear Factor or for the daring only. It actually an awesome dining experience. So I highly recommended it. The only thing missing are the ice cold beers!

It has been ages since I last got a taste of Filipino street food like kikiam and squid balls, so did not hesitate to visit Bodega when learned that such kinds of food were being served there.

It did not disappoint - from the cool playlist that was a throwback to my youth , to the tasty and generous servings of foods that are on offer , down to the helpful and good looking crew - a visit to Bodega is certainly recommended if you're longing for a taste of home.

Bodega means the store room or the store house for winery or food stock.
Well it is a store room for all types of weird things of chicken and meat that you can think of..
Chicken legs
Chicken heart
Chicken liver
Chicken gizzard
Chicken heart
Chicken neck

You can find all of them here either grilled and sauted in bbq skewers..
Unless and until you try the legs or gizzard you can only then imagine why people are crazy about this place.. it's tasty and we'll cooked..

Along with this their Korean beef bbq is also very nice most of the skewers come in 3 sticks and good to share for 2 people.. They also serve free an du limited rice..

One of their special. Item is chick on a coke can .. the presentation is just amazing .. The whole chicken comes sitting on top a coke can.. well while marinating the chicken they mix coke or Pepsi in it.. Tastes good and good for at least 4 people..

Sriracha spicy coleslaw is great as well..
Overall the music the ambience the street art and funky design saying "$HĮȚ HÃPPƏҧ " along with the loud music is just great to have fun in big group..

Price is moderate every item wud be around 35 dhs approx but it's worth the visit to try something different..
Deducting a point for the menu as some items are mentioned in their language and doesn't have any description so had to keep on calling to know what is the item made of?

Rest it's an amazing place with happy smelling chilled out servers..

Bodega (Spanish for warehouse) takes a literal meaning to its description: Street Food! The inside of this place is compartmentalised using cargo containers, the walls have graffiti over them, the slogans used are crass, the music is loud and the general ambience is very youthful and fun. We had gone on a Saturday evening and the place was jam-packed. We had to wait for about half an hour to be seated!

We were a group of 8 and since the menu contained loads of things we didn’t understand, we asked the only Filipino to place the order. In the order of food arrival, here’s what we ate:

Airmax (Chicken Feet): To be honest, I was completely grossed out when I saw this. The chicken feet looked like a human fetus!! But once I tasted it, it was easy to understand why it is considered a delicacy (much like Indians consider “paya” or trotters a delicacy)

Gizzard: I never knew I had eaten it when it was served! Although it was chicken, it tasted like beef!

8 Hours Smoked Ribs: I believe this really was cooked for 8 hours! The meat just fell off the bone and the sauce was divine!

Sisig Dynamite: This was basically a jalapeño stuffed with beef and cheese, wrapped with a spring roll and fried. There was nothing dynamite or spicy about it, but it was loaded with flavour!! LOVE!

Coke-in-Can-Chicken: This chicken came seated with a coke can up its ass! Hilarious, but the concept is really good. The chicken is marinated in coke which gives it its sweetish taste and also tenderises it with the acid in the coke. Great dish!

From the names I don’t remember, we also had beef in a coconut gravy that really tasted very South Indian and chicken/ beef on skewers with rice.

For dessert, we had Iskramble which was sweetened milk and chocolate over crushed ice (Warning: not for those with sensitive teeth!) and Turan tado which was a pancake stuffed with bananas and served with ice cream. Didn’t love it, but it tasted good.

Overall, a great place for Filipino street food. It had the right vibe and the food is worth the price!

I have been reading so much about Bodega on facebook. My friends brought home some chicken skin which I find really good.

So the next weekend we went there as a group and ordered chicken skin, feet and iskrambol. They are actually good. If you are craving for some street style Pinoy food, this place is for you. But let me remind you, this is not a high end restaurant. You can grill outside, so expect that you'll smell like bbq. Inside is a bit rowdy. Customers and staff coming in and out. Your order might take a while and if its a weekend dinner, bring all the patience you have because boy, you really gotta wait.

Will I come back? Yea, why not? I love their chicken skin the most (without mayo please). Prices are reasonable too. But I am not going here if I need some peace and quiet. :)

I came to visit this place without setting high expectations. I was reading the mix reviews and thought I have to see it myself. My friends (4 of us) came for dinner, 7:40 (ish) and had to be in a waiting list because the place was packed. We wanted to be sat outside because we were going to have the grill-ur-own package and there's no grilling allowed indoors. We waited for about 10-15 mins but didn't mind as the staff constantly checked on us and would update us regarding the next available table. Eventually we got our seats and the staff was quick to get our orders, set out table and help us decide on what to try in their menu. The customer service I must say was just amazing! The staff were all friendly, warm, attentive and customer oriented. The four of us agreed that we'll give it. 5/5. :)

As far as the foods we ordered are concern - we all enjoyed the bbqs, the grilling part, the Filipino way of eating bare hand (but with gloves) and of course the UNLIMITED RICE 😁 Plus the dessert that we've been craving for , iskrumble! Its 3.5/5

The location is okay, the design / concept is not one of a kind coz I've seen a few restos (non-Filipino even) with similar concept, however, because the place was packed and everyone including the staff seem to be enjoying the place, it gives us festive feeling and very positive atmosphere. 4/5

The price: 3.5/5 - we thought its good value for money

Well I dined here a couple of months ago but never got around to review the place and today I'm just craving for some authentic filipino street food and this place came straight to my mind cause this is exactly what bodega street food is all about. The food is hearty and scrumptious with truly the most courteous service staff I've come across in all my years living in dubai. The food is priced a little on the high side but I guess that's what you pay for authenticity and really good food(I don't mind it) The ambience is alive and just right for a evening out with friends..now only if they served a pint of beer along with the food I would be there almost every night😊

I think the person/people who conceptualized  Bodega did a great job. The idea is really out of the box in a sense of reinventing the street foods and put it on a different package. The foods are great, me and my friends definitely enjoyed it. The crew are so nice and friendly. The feel or ambience of the place is somewhat vintage and cool, and i do like it a lot! I somehow wish they could serve pork isaw coz it's like one of the 'main course' when you eat street foods.
Without it, it feels like you're having an incomplete meal. I hope they could offer more food choices.  But over all, it's two thumbs up for me! Keep it up guys.
Be more friendly and fun with your customers, and when they enjoyed their stay, they'll gonna come back ! ;)
I'll definitely gonna come back ! Cheers! :)

Have you ever tried hanging out with your friends in a warehouse? If not, then try viaitng Bodega near Deira City Center. It is made of those containers that make it look like a "bodega" or a warehouse, in english. We ordered their Chicken BBQ and the Korean Beef BBQ. both taste really good and the meat are very tender. What made the food better is their own vinegar. This is a kabayan street food restaurant so those who are not keen into earing different stuff, you can always go for their chicken BBQ, Korean Beef BBQ, chicken satay, lamb chops and steak. The place looks cool but the spiraled stairs is quite steep and narrow so you have to be very careful, especially if you have kids with you. The toilet is located at the M floor. When going up and down, just make sure that you avoid the "counterflow". Food is tasty and very affordable. They just do not have much in their menu. I hope they get to add more food soon.
