SB is my fav. South Indian joint in my area, We have dinned in and even ordered in twice. Absolutely love their service and staff. Its quiet spacious and clean. They even have a nice family/party area which is great for big gatherings or private dinners. My all time fav. is their family dosa, ghee roast dosa, onion utappa and chole baturre.
The service is so fast that you are in and out of the restaurant in less than 45 mins.
Definately recommended.
Well the quality of dosa was really good. The chutneys were super delicious and the disappointing part was vada and masala of masala dosa which didn't taste well at all.
Overall it is a good place, very clean, staff's well trained and food does arrives in time. Would love to come again try my favourite cheese pizza.
Good quality restaurant. Decent menu and price. One of the best authentic. I like the cleanliness in the ambience and all staff are well dressed and clean attire and well shaven. Commendable effort by the management. Food served is very clean in plate. And toilets are very clean and well maintained. Appreciate the cleanliness effort by the management.
Absolutely the best Vegetarian Indian food in Dubai. Each and every dish was savory and well prepared. If you like Indian food, especially south indian dishes, you will love this place.
The ambience and the atmosphere do complete justice to the name. The dosas are wow and the filter coffee is to die for.
They have a good variety available in terms of items in the menu. Be it for an early breakfast or a late dinner - this place is of great help in the Mankhool. Tried breakfast as well as dinner here for a couple of days during our stay in Dubai.
Service was bit slow but that’s ok. The flavours of everything are awesome and super tasty! Especially the dosa with the potato inside! Yum! Everyone has to try this at least once! You will not regret it!
Very neat restaurant.. following the covid rules strictly, fresh food and very courteous staff. Quality of the food and service is excellent. Will definitely recommend and visit again. Keep up the good work team Bhojan Shala 👌👏👏👏
Where to begin? Classic South Indian middle class experience on a clean straight forward no-nonsense setting.
Location - strategic (with so much parking at anytime of the week)
Food - delicious, slow cooked hearty meals/tiffin and for some of us, properly South Indian with additions that can desirable by all. Presentation is perfect as well.
Service - perfect balance of courtesy and attentiveness.
Cleanliness - tables, table ware, counters, washroom are all squeaky clean.
All round superb restauranteering.
In today's restaurants (2020 Dubai) I think by far the best in south Indian quality especially authentic dishes the way they are supposed to be prepared and served. Veda is exactly how you prepare them..with just green chillies. Be it the simple dosa, Sambhar Idly and also the filter coffee. Additionally clean and hygienic and good service!. Difficult to falter find a fault. Be there and experience it yourself.
Went to dine out after a very long time...was so impressed by the sanitisation and social distancing measures taken by the management and the staff...each table had a bottle of hand sanitizer and the place looked immaculate and very clean....felt confident to fo again and recommend the place to all ...kudos to the management in taking all measures possible during these trying times
a lover of good south indian breakfast, we recently tried this newly opened restaurant in mankhool...
the restaurant is quite spacious and has a good layout...
We ordered for their ghee roast dosa, cheese roast dosa, onion rava dosa and tomato uttapam... the ghee roast and the uttapam was absolutely delicious...
the cheese roast we felt didnt have enough cheese...so it pretty much tasted like the regular dosa..
a warning for everyone..the dosas here are massive...can be easily shared by 2/3...we had a tough time finishing all that we ordered...
a great place overall for an easy on the pocket yet tasty brekkie
We went there around 4pm but were glad to find that the lunch was still being served.
We ordered the proper thali, soup and starter to begin with.
Curry soup- delicious! (recommendation was from one of the server who took our order)
Gobi 65 - sufficient quantity was nice as well.
Thali was super tasty and filling, with chapati, papad, puri alongside.
Reminds you of hometown food, style served backthere:)
Staff was very friendly, courteous.
We ordered fresh carrot, ginger, apple juice - was also fresh.
For two people 86dhm only, pocket friendly :)
Definitely
One of the best places in UAE to have South Indian good. Elaborate menu and great taste.
Tried out this outlet which opened up a fee months ago...It's massive with a huge seating capacity including a private party hall...
We went on a weekend and the place was packed.
On the recommendation of the steward, tried out the curry leaf soup which did not disappoint..We also went in for the mini Tiffin- the dosa, Shweta and mini idli were great while the upma and Sambhar were a bit of a let down.
We also tried the huge masala paper roast dosa which was huge and surprisingly not very greasy...great stuff
The onion tomato Uttapam was ok - a bit of chillies would have made it better...
The mango strawberry honey and curd combo called honey dew was very good
Finally a South Indian meal cannot be complete without filter coffee served in a traditional stainless steel glass..bliss
Service is no fuss and very impersonal with the staff going about efficiently doing their job
Prices are in line with other South Indian joints - so if you want a no fuss south Indian meal - this is one place you might want to check out..
Awesome 👍 Value for the money and good variety of food with much care towards the customers
The variety, quality and the taste sings melody to the taste buds!! Tempts one to visit again to try various options!! Service is very good and atmosphere is soothing!! Wish they introduce discounts on Zomato Gold or some credit card discounts!! A must try!!
Great food. Value for money Saturday lunch. After long time, seeing north, South Indian with Chinese veg lunch buffet. With variety of dessert and juice and salads. Must try for 35dhs. Best and courteous staff service. I went alone but never felt am alone with the staff service. Good thing to notice is they don't fill up dishes to the brim of the utensils. Freshly cooked and served with small portion refills. Got pongal at lunch hour which is very less chance in any veg hotel on Saturday afternoon. Always I have heard excuse from other restos of breakfast item not available for lunch. Keep it up. Highly recommended for pure veg food lovers. See you Soon!
Went to the restaurant as it was newly opened and Nearbto my cousins house, food was fresh and tasty they special soup was over by around 8 pm which was a disappointment still the food was good , my wife ordered Jithu porotta which she said was soggy and not like the crispy ones which she used to have tried devils potato which was good
Good taste, they served hot poori. Restaurant was slightly crowded.
Visited this place for a light dinner since it recently opened in my neighborhood. I tried mini tiffin and onion tomato uttappam. The food was tasty but the portion size was very very less for the price charged..
Really good food, amazing service as well!
Their lunch buffet is a good option priced very reasonably at just 31aed. Their service is good would definitely recommend .
We absolutely love this newly opened Saarangaa Bhojanshala. The food is scrumptious and the service is par excellence. Absolutely recommended!
