They do the best Japanese cheesecakes, period!I was here one morning with my little girl and it was such a lovely experience. The location is amazing, the staff are super friendly and the Japanese cheesecakes are made absolutely fresh. I love their classic and the honey cake however realized they only do honey cakes and chocolate cakes during the weekend. Ended up ordering for two classic cakes and a chocolate tart. Also called for a cheese tart. You cant go wrong with these. They are all fresh, creamy, fluffy and delicious. Called for an iced latte too and loved it. Cant wait to be back already :)

With Uncle Tetsu, it's all about light and airy texture. ... When it comes to the taste, you will be surprised to find that Uncle Tetsu cakes are not aggressively sweet. Instead, they have a light custard-like flavor that's somewhat sweet and savory at the same time. You can definitely taste the egg in there.

Last night I went to this place with my family. It was really an amazing experience for us to try Japanese Fluffy Cake.
We ordered Fluffy Cheesecake, Chocolate Tarts, and Cappuccino. All items very amazingly delicious and the cake was amazingly soft and fluffy, loved it overall.
The staff were very nice, cool and helpful. Loved the place as it was very peaceful and comfortable.
Will definitely visit there again to try their honey and chocolate flavor fluffy cakes.

It was the best place I have ever visited... I was obsessed with the Japanese cake I have never tried such a delicious cake.....
They served us 4 cakes with a cup of coffee and a drink...
Japanese cake tasted so delicious and yummy I enjoyed it...

The most creamiest ORIGINAL Japanese cheesecake that quite literally Melts in your mouth 🤤🤤🤤🤤 must try Yoo!!! I never thought I would love original cheesecake this much!! I’m more of a red velvet from Cheesecake Factory kinda person. But this one from Uncle Tetsu’s changed my mind!!

Uncle tetsu at lamer, they have amazing Japanese cheese cake. The cake was so soft and divine.
The little chocolate and vanilla tarts also tasted great.
We also enjoyed uncle tetsu cappuccino with cake rusks and what a combination.
We also had lemon, Raspberry, strawberry mojito’s and I must tell you they were so refreshing and enjoyed too.

We decided to visit Uncle Tetsu at La Mer yesterday. We tried out allt of different items as under:
Tarts: We tried the chocolate and lemon tarts. Both of them were wonderfully balanced and the flavour wasn't over powering. A subtle taste.
Cheesecake: We tried out the original, honey and chocolate cheesecakes. I must say it is worth every penny. It is extremely light and airy. It is really sublime.
Cake Rusk n Coffee: We also tried the different cake rusks available along with coffee. My personal favourite was the chocolate chip rusk.
I would like to highly appreciate the friendly staff and baby zaid had a wonderful time aswell. Thanks to @uncle tetsu

These Japanese cheesecakes are soft, pillowy bites of goodness. They are ideally sweet, are without a graham cracker crust and not at all heavy like the usual cheesecakes!
Fluffy and very creamy in texture and definitely not too sweet, something i would definitely crave. The location is perfect with plenty of seating, balcony seating is available too.
Fluffy and a bit more on the bland side (not sweet like your typical cheesecake). The texture feels like a bread and cheesecake mixture.
Not a big fan of this but I think it's something that I eventually will look for since it gives off a refreshing sensation due to the texture.

If you are open to trying new things this place should be on your hit list.
The cheese cake doesn't look, taste or feel like any cheesecake you've tried before. So if you want what you are used to steer clear. It's sweet but might not feel that way because your taste buds are expecting the sugary saturation of a traditional cheesecake. This is an awesomely fluffy cake. You will think you can finish a whole cake (they don't sell slices, just full mini-sized round cakes) but don't let the fluffiness decieve you into thinking these are as light as pancakes. My wife and I ended up eating only half of the first cake and taking the second half with our second cake to go.
Their service was missing several beverages from the menu - no tea or milkshakes. We settled for macchiatos and my wife who doesn't drink unsweetened coffee found the blend to be very agreeable (as is, unsweetened). Might come back for the coffee if not the cake.
Thu-Sun they have a 1+1 offer on everything (coffee or cheesecake) which makes reduces the cost of trialing this Japanese franchise.

Decided to try out this place with a couple of friends. I have had Japanese cheesecake before and I wasn’t a big fan. But my friends really wanted to try Uncle Tetsu’s cheesecake. So the original plan was to share a slice or an individual portion of their cheesecake, but we realised that they serve only their 6inch version. We were a bit doubtful and were wondering if we could finish the same. While we were discussing this, the friendly waitress said it comes in take away boxes. Problem solved! we went ahead and ordered. The cheesecake is served warm and it was really light. Before we knew it we finished the entire thing 🙈The take away boxes and our earlier discussion about wether we could finish the same was forgotten 👻. I don’t really remember the interiors or anything else because we were only concentrating on our dessert. The cheesecake was light and fluffy but the flavour could get a little monotonous and ‘eggy’ after a bit but nevertheless it was yummy. Will visit again for sure. ☺️

1. When you enter, you don't really know - if you are supposed to sit and wait for the waiters to come to you, or You are supposed to go to the cash counter and pay. 2.After you pay for the items , again you don't know if you will be served or You need to pick up the order from the counter.
3. There is no paper-menu . You need to stare up at the screens above the counter, which contains the menu alongwith advs. That's confusing.
The lady servers are very thoughtful and looks out for you. When I was struggling to finish up the big cheese cake, I was expertly guided and given a takeaway pack. Much appreciated.
Now, coming to the order, the cheesecake is at 39 dhs, a great item-5/5. The very best. I have taken these Japanese ones before and they are baked in a different way than the American ones. And i am a fan of them. Smoothest. Softest. Fluffy. Like an ice cream. How do they make it so soft, is beyond me!! A slightly browning at the top is stamped by the staff-Uncle tetsu.
I couldn't finish one- brought home half of it.
I got a suggestion of Latte at 20 dhs, and ordered it. It was okay-3.5/5. I have taken better. Amount is much less , compared to the peers.
I will come back again. And recommend this cheesecake to all across the world.
