Located in JBR on the beach, amazing views and perfect during both day and night. One of my favorite places in town, great food and always packed.
Visited this amazing place located @jbrwalk.
From the amazing decor to the mouthwatering food every thing was delicious and just mind blowing.
My favourite and you guys must try dishes are below.

Food was reallg good !! Mr madhi was absolutely great serving !! Chat was amazing . Enjoyed !!!!! 👌🏻
Located in one of the prime location of Dubai. “JBR”
Bombay Bungalow as the same states, it serves Indian cuisine and has a rich interior. From the chandelier to paintings are just so beautiful, you can’t take the eyes off.
There staff is so courteous and friendly. They will give you a warm welcome and will suggest some of the best dishes as per your taste buds.
We met the chef too, his name was Neeraj. He personally visited our table to check on our meals and take our suggestions. And that’s what I call a five Star hospitality.
For our dinner, we start with some appetizers and drinks, which were
Bhajiya - I specially love the taste of coriender seeds in it
Chicken malai kebab - full of flavour and cream.. Not spicy at all
Fish & chips - Perfectly fried and cooked to perfection
Tikka Platter - It comprised of 16 pcs with Prawns, Fish, Chicken and Mutton Kebab. So it a perfect all in one
Pani puri - A perfect fusion food!! Had avocado salsa in it
Our main course included
Pav Bhaji Fondue, served with buttered breads and baked potatoes.
And
Achari fish, fresh and delicious to the core.
For drinks, hubby prepared to stay natural so ordered coconut water. Me and my sons choose Watermelon and Basil Mojito, Amm Tai and Mango Lassi
We preferred to end our meal with Mango Kulfi and Ras Malai. And it taste heavenly.
I have been here before for my anniversary!! Each visit is an experience in itself

.
I was so impressed with the interiors and even more with their fine presentation of food. For my lunch I started off with a drink called Potion of the Maharajas, this was Fresh watermelon juice with basil extracts and ginger notes. I enjoyed my drink.
.
For starters I had Pappdi chaat which is Crispy fried dough wafers topped with spicy mashed potato, some sauces and pomegranates.
I also had the Kebab and Tikka Platter which is four different non-veg kebabs and tikkas served on a platter with a variety of dipping sauces. I loved the Hariyali fish tikka , Malai prawns, chicken tikka and mutton seekh kebab.
.
For main course I opted for tandoori sea bass, butter chicken burrata, pepper prawns South Indian style with various different breads. I loved the sea bass and pepper prawns and these are the finest I have had. The butter chicken burrata was a little on the sweeter side but yet exquisite.
.
For dessert It was Coconut Rasmalai which melt in my mouth because of its creamy texture. I also had gulab jamun but I liked the rasmalai better.
.
I think beautiful interiors, good service and great food makes it a must visit place. I am definitely hooked

We had booked a table on a Friday , it was a last minute reservation and they catered to our need. Food is good we had ordered Chicken kadai, Dum aloo and Grill Fish ( the fish is their signature dish) .
Perhaps the fish was overpriced i felt with respect to the taste as it was bland . The other too dishes were good not exceptional . Since we had heard alot about this place hence decided to visit. May be we visit and check other dishes too ...
The first thing that strikes you when you enter is the beautiful royal decor. The Service was friendly.
The food is a fusion cuisine while staying true to the flavours. We tried a few dishes out and everything was delicious. The beef chilli with parathas stood out and is a must try. The serving size is good for 2 people on average.
The plain naan at 8dh and a karak at 20dh was too over priced. You can use the entertainer on the main dishes.
BOMBAY BUNGALOW : Located at the heart of JBR , this restaurant serves best of best cuisines from all over India with a twist.
What we had ~
• Drinks : Started with some refreshing Signature mocktails.
~ Potion of the Maharajas : Fresh watermelon juice with basil extracts and ginger notes.
~ Weight of Gold : Passion fruit mixed with Indian spices and fresh coconut water.
• Street Food :
~ GUAC Pani puri : One of the best pani puri ever had with avocado salsa and spicy chilli tamarind dressing. Vanished in no time.
~ Pappdi chaat: Crispy fried dough wafers topped with spicy mashed potato dressed on top with chaat. Perfect balance of all tastes in one bite.
• Starters :
~ Kebab and Tikka Platter : Chef’s selection of four different non-veg kebabs and tikkas served on a platter with variety of dipping sauce. We had Hariyali fish tikka , Malai prawns, Harissa chicken tikka and mutton seekh kebab. All were finger licking good with unique tastes.
~ Soft shell crab : One of the best seafood platter I had till date. This spicy tempura fried crab with tempered tamarind sauce was melting in mouth.
• Mains :
~ Chargrilled whole fish : Sea bass generously marinated in creamy , rich malai marinade and grilled to perfection. It was very soft and juicy.
~ Mussels : This shellfish dish was awesome with mussels cooked in basil curry leaves sauce.
If you are a shellfish lover this is a must try dish.
~ Beef chilli roast : Kerala style pan roasted beef served with malabar Paratha. This was amazingly a good combination.
~ Dal Makhani : This was rich in taste and was going well with garlic and cheese naans.
~ Biriyani bowl: We tried their Chicken 65 Biriyani which was very aromatic with long grain basmati rice and mild spices.
• Desserts :
~ Bournvita chocolate hot cake topped with butter scotch ice cream and salted caramel was delicious.
~ Cooconut Rasmalai: Trust me this was just melting in mouth with so soft and creamy texture.
Ended our meal with a hot cup of tea. Ambience is extremely good with old rustic interiors with detailing in each and every corner of the restaurant with comfortable seating arrangement. They have outdoor seating as well with a beautiful view of Ain Dubai and beachfront. A must visit restaurant to have delicious food served by friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Bombay Bungalow
Bringing the finest flavours of India straight to your plate amidst breath-taking views of @thebeachdubai & #aindubai , @bombaybungalow is guaranteed to please the most discerning of palates.
I can’t get enough of their vintage style interior ,reminiscence of Mumbai’s historic bungalows. Be it the antiques, the portraits ,the huge life size trees or Royal chandeliers everything brings back epicurean nostalgia!!
Their menu is mainly traditional Indian cuisine with a hint of modern touch without compromising on taste ; certain dishes will transport you to the streets of Mumbai while others will open your eyes and taste buds to something new yet familiar. For instance their “Gauc Pani puri” is an Indian-Mexican fusion twist on famous Indian classic street food ,pani puri. With Avocado Salsa stuffed inside crispy puri.
I highly recommend you to try their seafood specialities like soft shell crab fry, Chargrilled fish & basil mussels bucket.
Check my highlights for the videos & pictures of the indoor ,outdoor seating & also the gorgeous view.

Decided to visit this restaurant to celebrate daughter’s birthday dinner.
The ambience has Indian rustic feel and we chose to dine inside.
The service was quick and efficient but they forgot to check our temperatures which I think they should take it seriously.

This time to try everything i missed last time😍😍
#bestindianfood #indianfoodindubai
Thali was generous portion wise. Dal makhani was little too spicy. Bhuna gosht was too salty. Rest were good including the kebabs.
Located in JBR, Bombay Bungalow screams of vintage Indian authenticity in the heart of UAE! With exceptional decors and gorgeous view by the beach, Bombay Bungalow is gem in all senses!
I was invited by @whitelabelme to check out this gorgeous establishment and THANK GOD! I was always asked about my favourite Indian restaurant, you have the answer now!!!!🔥❤️
Starters:
⚜️ Guac Paani Poori- WHO could ever think of adding guacamole to paani poori? Well they did and the result is beyond excellent! Crispy chat with the amazing guac and anar filling with an exceptional khatta paani is DEFINITELY recommended! ( ⭐️ )
⚜️ Raita Tray- This raita is prepared live infront of you, our server Mohammad was a pro at it and did a great job with this!
⚜️ Watermelon Chaat- I mean i LOVE anything and everything involving watermelon. I loved this combination of feta cheese, pine nuts, coriander pesto and watermelon OFC! 🍉
Drinks:
⚜️ Indian Summer- a Refreshing ginger beer with orange lime and dates! The ginger was a bit too strong for my liking
⚜️ Mango Lassi- OMG LOVEEEEEE THIS ONE! Thick, flavourful and crazily delicious!!!
Mains:
⚜️ Tikka Platter- HELLO INDIAN TIKKA? How can you get wrong with this! Prawn and Coconute seekh kebab were definitely the front runners!!
⚜️ Buratta Butter Chicken- Home made buratta( gawd still drooling) with rich fenugreek tomato gravy with slices of grilled chicken was beyond tasty! (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️)
⚜️ Tandoori Paneer Steak- Again, innovation at its best! Served in a bed of mushroom, this paneer steak is a GREAT take on the traditional paneer tikka! Great dish!! (⭐️⭐️)
Dessert:
⚜️ Gulab Jamun Chocolate Cheesecake- HEELOOOO MOTHER OF INVENTIONS! I mean to incorporate two of my favorite dishes into one glorious beauty on plate!! Yum! Although i would have loved the gulab jamun to shine eveb more! This dish is alll about the different levels of amazing flavour profiles!
⚜️ Coconut Ras malai- FAVOURITE DESSERT OF ALL TIMES! I meaaan I can’t even describe how worthy this dish of getting an Oscar! So beautiful. So rich. So well balanced. Im lost at words. But order this and YOU WONT EVER REGRET!!!!!! ( ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️❤️❤️❤️❤️)
The name itself makes me fall in love with this place as Bombay is home. Mathi was our server and he helped us to choose the dishes. Beautiful ambience and bright color with green decor makes this place eye soothing. It nearly impossible to be in this place and not to take a picture. It wil be nice if the fish platter can be served with some green chutney. The dessert was mind blowing and very different. The service was quick and it was overall a wonderful experience. We ordered
Potion of the Maharajas 3/5
Pappadi Chaat 5/5
Fish Platter 4.5/5
Mussels 5/5
Lamb Biryani 2/5
Coconut Rasmalai 5/5
Very nice and high end restaurants for parties..very authentic ambience of indian culture , very friendly staff , food was fresh and yummy..only concern is price to quantity is on lower side but we enjoyed the stay at this place
Great food (The grilled fish stood out) and ambience! Special shoot out to the courteous and friendly staff! Overall had a great experience. Surely will recommend. Would be great to have offers such as Zomato Gold, etc as an added incentive for the customers..
Bombay Bungalow is one of my favorites restaurants in Dubai.
Right from
Interior, food to the outside beach view everything makes this restaurant fall in the category of
“must visit Place.”
Watermelon salad and avocado Pani puri are my favorites.
I just want to highlight they should work on their servicing time, which I think is too long.
Rest this restaurant is again and again visit place for family and friends 🤗
Everything was great, especially the chilli beef fry. The only thing I didn’t like was the garlic naan, it didn’t taste garlicky, I’ve tasted it in other Indian restaurants and the garlic taste was more pronounced.
Really nice restaurant with wide choice of Indian food.. Loved the appetizers and drinks.. we had ordered butter chicken samosa chaat & malai prawns.. taste was great.
Only main course we felt could have been better, the Naan was a bit hard and gosht was a less tasty than we expected.. However, we will visit again to try out the other dishes on the menu.. definitely recommend this place and will visit again..
R u feel thirsty?
Or ...
Hungry?...
In marina beach..... Just a to make to comfort again...
" Bombay Bungalow"!!
From kabab to.. biriyani... From . Street food to.. Maharaja spl....
Ammchi Mai Tai... One of the best Mocktail... they served!
Awesome food
Different taste
Great service
Lovely ambience
Taste- We ordered paneer tikka masala, coriander chilli naan, veg samosas, cashew crusted veg kofta, onion bhajia, coconut water, mint roti. All the dishes tasted exquisite but the paneer tikka masala, coriander chilli naan and veg samosas were super scrumptious!
Ambience- The ambience is GORGEOUSSSSS and takes us back to the Blue City (Jodhpur). It resembles Mehrangarh Fort and is BREATHTAKING!
Pricing- Definitely a higher end fine dining restaurant but the pricing was very reasonable especially given the location (JBR) and the exquisite ambience.
We went there to celebrate my parents anniversary. Just hoping for a good dinner we went to try this new resto. Had an amazing time. Our server was really available for us all the time. We dint know what to expect from the food. But whatever we ordered including the starters was delicious. The best part is that you have an option of full portion or half portion and their full portion is enougj for 4 people. The only complain i would say is the portion size of the kofta curry. We felt it was a bit less in comparison to the price. Overall we had a very memorable anniversary dinner. Would definetly recommend it.
What better way to celebrate your birthday than in a regal way which blends Mughal cuisine with contemporary effortlessly with a view to watch out for.
Based in @jbr_official Marina walk , its a treat for food connoisseurs with intricate decor(read Mughal era) ( makes for great photos) and indoor and outdoor seating
Recommended : Pav bhaji fondue / prawns chili pepper fry / butter chicken buratta and salted caramel cake with chocolate soil
Thank you so much @bombaybungalow @whitelabelme for such a lovely birthday celebration .
A special mention to the restaurant’s manager Lial who was very friendly and took extra attention on our experience .

Best indian food joint on Jumeriah beach area , perfectly located with some amazing dishes to serve . We tried their breakfasts and biryani , there prawns are finger licking good . Highly recommended but slightly costly must say .
First time I tried this place and I have to say the interior of this restaurant and ambiance is amazing. It gives a feel of royal Indian place. Moreover, the view of dubai eye is breathtaking. However, the food Tatse is just average but the decor and dining experience is on point!
Aren’t the interiors just beautiful at Bombay Bungalow?😍 @bombaybungalow specialises in Modern Indian cuisine with a twist! One of my go to spots in JBR 📍
I recommend their signature Burrata Butter Chicken, Pappadi Chaat and Harissa Chicken Tikka (pictures in Causal Dining story highlights) 🇮🇳 A meal for two costs around 260 dirhams for 2 starters, 2 main courses, a side and naan bread (complimentary poppadom and dips!)💰 available on @entertainerdxb for some extra savings!
A taste of India in Dubai!! 🍽 The Bombay Bungalow in JBR is one such fine dining restaurant to satisfy your Indian taste bud. I had an amazing time trying out their diverse menu which boasts a range of dishes, from the standard (chicken tikka masala, lamb rogan josh), to staple Indian dishes with a twist (burrata butter chicken, guac pani poori). 😋
Swipe left for more drool worthy pictures:
▫️Champagne of the East & Weight of Gold

My personal favourite has to be the Burrata Butter Chicken & Coconut Rasmalai. Thank you for having me over @bombaybungalow, some of the dishes literally transported me to the streets of India. 😍
The samosa was really good and had a good amount of tasty filling, the beef curry was good too but a few pieces were undercooked, the vegetarian dishes were good.
The coconut rasmalai looked really good in the picture and that’s why we ordered it but although it was plated well, it tasted really weird. They coconut cream tasted like it was spoilt.
But all in all the food was worth the money and taste wise too.
Heard a lot about it and finally got to visit for dinner at Bombay bungalow as the name says it’s originally from Bombay known as Mumbai too in Indian serving their famous street food cum dine in dishes in their own unique modern style .
Courteous staff assisted us so well with the head chef mr neeraj . The manager knew everything so well about each flavour in dishes shows how well trained and how well he knows about what he is talking and serving . Upon his recommedation we tried their two drinks and their Pani puri . Truely amazed by their pani puri like they sed . They have butter chicken samosa too it blown me away as I never thought someone could come up with such an amazing idea , it is a must try . Their PAPDI chaat is another unique dish they served 5/5 to all starters and drinks
Main course
We had a chicken dum Briyani served in a pot with delicious raita so well and freshly made . 5/5
Ambiance was beautiful and creatively designed . I loved their blue theme . Outdoor seating as amazing view of blue waters and beach . Indoor has this huge artificial tree which gives amazing look to the entire area inside .
This is a must visit and I will visit soon.

Liked there chicken tikka was yummy served with a thick gravy and sprouts salad
Didn't like there chicken biryani was made ok
With an amazing view of the beach, this place is perfect for a family or friends’ gathering. It serves delicious Indian food. Absolutely love their chicken mulligatawany soup. The coconut rasmalai is a perfect way to end the meal on a sweet note. It is a fusion dish with a twist to regular rasmalai and worth trying! Staff is extremely courteous
Stumbles in this Indian join on JBR! I must say this is the best Indian food I’ve had in a long time.. Service is excellent and the food is heaven..
When it comes to Indian cuisine, nothing beats this place!!
This is the best Indian fusion cuisine in DXB!
Exceptional service and out of this world food..If you on JBR and fancy Indian food, this is the place you wanna go!!
Heard a lot about this place from a friend and thought of trying it out. The restaurant meets upto to its reviews given by my friend. We ordered butter chicken samosa chaat which was a unique blend of butter chicken stuffed inside samosa with butter chicken sauce and guac paani puri in which the stuffing was made with avocado as starters. Both the starters were amazing. For main dish we ordered cashew crushed kofta which again was among their best sellers (vegetarians should try it out)
Last but not the least loved how they wrote birthday wish on a rasmalai plate.
Great restaurant and amazing food. Staff is friendly and hospitable. Great atmosphere from authentic music, decoration and service.
Staff are very helpful and professional, menu is well designed as it has all varieties of best Indian food. I loved Butter chicken and Pani puri platter... it was awesome.
I really recommend it. Awesome food👌🏻☺️
Favourite Indian restaurant in Dubai. Fine dining quality with casual prices, excellent decor and service
I had this massive craving for my ever favorite Dal dish.. the DAL MAKHNI and found this gem over Zomato and immediately placed the order for a regular portition of the curry with Whole grain roti and guess what? I loved it. I would love to try out more in a dine-in scenario for the next time with my folks.
Excellent veg food by chef Rana
Fantastic location , unique decor and amazing food.
Watermelon Chaat is surely to try! Very simple but delicious. Dum Aloo with coriander chilly naan is also spicy, flavoursome and stuffed aloo is very different.
Loved the Biryani also served with raita.
Best service, beautiful location with serene sea view and sumptuous food made my day. Want to come here again and again.
The food is delicious, highly recommended
A very classy place with ancient style india replicating interiors has an option to sit outside also . In love with the decor .. the service is quick , amazing and courteous. The food is delicious. Would love to be back here . Must try - malai kofta, dal makhni
Visited few months back for a Friday Late lunch . Most tables where occupied even at 15 : 45 hours . Was greeted with a smile and the waiter helped us to your table immediately . Must say the ambiance feels like a Modern twist to an historical Indian location like a darbar or a section of a palace . Very will done with warm and bright colors to lift your mood. Outdoor seating also available during the lovely winter months .
We ordered a Pav bhaji fondue and a bowl of Chicken Biryani . The Fondue was very well presented and tasted as good . The Biryani too was good and flavorsome . Overall a very pleasant experience with great quality food and friendly staff to make the experience worthwhile . Highly recommended also, if you have guests from Overseas looking to get a feel of modern Indian cuisine with a warm Indian ambiance .
I just love the interiors here! Nothing wrong about this place. Great Indian food. Good pricing for the location and the view. Loved the biryani. Great service. Recommended to take guest for lovely Indian food!
Lunch 🍴 at Bombay bungalow, JBR was an exciting experience- Fine dining with a great beach view and fusion menu was a perfect combination.
Mango 🥭 lassi for Dhs 25/- , coconut 🥥 water for Dhs 25/- & salted lassi for Dhs 22/- were the drinks we opted for in sunny ☀️ afternoon.
From the street food menu , it was interesting to try Guacamole’s pani poori for Dhs 35/- - Very tasty & innovative, A must try ! Papdi chat for Dhs 35/- was another good vegetarian option.
Pav bhaji fondue for Dhs 75/- was presented with a twist - tiny pieces of Pav and potatoes with skewers were to be dipped in the yummy bhaji.
As the name says, Tilwale Aloo for Dhs 25/- were potatoes 🥔 made with seasame seeds. Dal tadka for Dhs 25/- Jumbo prawns 🍤 for Dhs 160/- ,bhatti chicken 🍗 for Dhs 65/- were good main course options with naan and rice!
We visited Bombay Bungalow post our evening stroll at the JBR beach for dinner. It is a delight for the Indian food lovers. The menu had a large variety and the food was very yummy. We had ordered Dahi ke kebab and dal makhani with breads. All of them tasted awesome and had the authentic Indian taste. The place also offers Entertainer 1+1 offers though the prices anyways were very reasonable for the ambience, location and taste that it offered. Will be visiting this place back during one of the next beach visits to try more. Recommended!
Restaurant is located in the beach mall . Such a lovely interior . Food was too good and delicious. Especially dum aloo was just super . Portion is enough for two & kids friendly too . But less options for vegetarian . Overall I was happy with the place and food .
We went to Bombay Bungalow for a team dinner recently. The decor is amazing and pays homage to India and our culture. We had a large group with people from all around the world. Everyone loved the food, it was spiced perfectly without being very hot. The bonus was the pani puri :)...with an avocado twist to the conventional one. All in all everything from the appetizers to desserts were great and I got to play host and represent our cuisine so thank you for that :). Would highly recommend this place if you plan to visit Dubai
This is me and my wife’s favorite Indian restaurant in the UAE so far. We eat here several times a month. The staff are always friendly and Chef Neeraj goes the extra mile to ensure every visit is memorable. Highly recommend the Paneer Makhanwala, Harissa chicken tikka, and Weight of Gold (drink). The decor is grand and traditional with a modern twist.
We ordered Diwali special varieties. Each dish complimented one another. The food were maliciously tasty.

We met Chef Bhupendra.. who very politely and generously catered to our dietery requirements. This was my 3rd visit to Bombay Bungalow, and they only get better each time.
Each time i come to dubai the firsti do before checking in hotel is to come to bombay bungalow to eat the staff the chefs the food everything is perfect the food quality the spices the staff and chefs are really an amazing professionals i wish we have this restaurant in my country..thank you for the great service and experience every time
The interiors here are perfection and the food is marvelous! I’d go back in a heartbeat especially for the Diwali special menu (AED 200 for 2 people for vegetarian and AED 250 for 2 people for non vegetarian), the spread is huge and you’ll really have no space at the end of the meal! It was totally worth it and there was nothing I didn’t like honestly!
Favs: Burrata Butter Chicken, Cashew Crusted Kofta Curry, Chaat Trio, Pav Bhaji Fondue (the best I’ve had in Dubai frankly), Watermelon mocktail (so refreshing), homestyle dal and aloo bhaaji, kebab platter, Biryani, Bournvita Chocolate Dessert (has 2 of these, it’s really soo delicious!)
