One of the best breakfast I eat in my entire life.
I ordered by phone.
Great service and excellent conversation by the incharge person
Fastest delivery you will not waiting for too long.
Food are great speically for the salad steak. I never eat salads but when i tried it feels wonderful
Best cafe! they have very delicious meals . the chocolate crepe is amazing , ginger cake so good , the açai banana purée ... their prices so competitive for the portion they offer and the quality .
This is a nice café with quality drinks and snacks, comfortable seating and free WiFi. I love the camomile tea and other herbal teas they have.
For quick catch up with a close friend tried the club sandwich from the Public Cafe. It was worth the wait as the sandwich was yummy served with crispy fries. The ambiance couldn’t be better for a work place cafe or also for people to chill and relax.
🥤 Visited Saturday afternoon when it was quiet 🤫 and chose spinach and cucumber 🥒 juice with a cheese 🧀 croissant 🥐 for late bite working in the area. Croissant had been heated so it was tough and not much cheese. Juice was amazing to taste and service was friendly. Bit dark in the cafe. They sell preserves too which is a nice touch.
Great place for breakfast and lunch. Wonderful staff and clean food. Acai bowl is a speciality with generous ingredients. I've tried most of their sandwiches and lunch menu and they are all fresh and made-to-order. A regular visitor here.
Their ambiance is crazyy... I love this place
They have different sections of seating areas, I had gone there for a lunch with my frnds had a great time.. few days later had gone for a meeting and the tables turned into couches..
Must try their sandwiches
best and healthy food ever
The best sandwiches I've tried in Dubai! Having lived in the UAE as a British expat for a few years, looking for great sandwiches is a challenge. The fresh bread, the amount of filling to bread ratio, and the attention to the special requests are superb. They are just very tasty and great value for money. Pancakes are deliciously light and moreish. I look forward to sampling more things on the menu. I will be back!

My review of Public Cafe - I always love to stop by little shops around town that offer delicious food at a lower cost. Cafes always have that comfortable environment where I can enjoy both my food and time alone.
My salmon bagel was a great portion for a light lunch. This place was generous with the salmon and it wasn't just bagel that I was biting into. The ratio between the bagel and salmon was perfect.
I had enough room for a chocolate banana crepe and I'm glad that I went with this sweet dessert. The crepe was thin and the filling was a good amount. The bananas went well with the chocolate. The crepe was delicious, and ended my lunch nicely.
This restaurant deserves a rating of 4.5/5.
I ordered the salmon bagel for 28DHS, chocolate banana crepe for 19DHS, and the lychee shake for 22DHS.
The pricing of the food here is inexpensive.
The service that I received here was great, and the staff members were friendly.
The ambience of this restaurant is comfortable, and the dark colours of the place makes it easier to relax and enjoy your light meal. The decor is simple but still sophisticated, in this setting, simple is better.
Eating My Way Around
+4.5
I have a few dietary restrictions but instead of the usual treatment I've now gotten used to, I received help and soon had a scrumptious fresh breakfast and a lovely almond cappuccino to wash it down. Lovely experience
Public Cafe has two outlets in JLT and both share the same Greek DNA. The place is hip and has an open seating that makes it a good place to meet and dine. The food menu is a mix of salads, wraps, and daily main course dishes. I particularly like the steak wrap and close with Affogato (Ice cream with shot of espresso) as dessert. The selection of Greek desserts are very tempting, especially the Walnut pie.
A good place to order or enjoy a sit down lunch. It tends to get rather busy during lunch, the place is buzzing, the staff is friendly and always on their toes making sure all is in good flow. Their dish of the day concept is great for regulars, however i am always on the wait for my favourite dish's turn- the beef kababs in spiced tomato sauce served with white rice (cannot happen to recall the dis's name but can promise its the best- soft succulent and the warm spices in the curry are a definite receipe to warm your soul!). The greek mousaka comes in second! Unfortunately, these dishes do not feature in their regular menu. Other could trys from their regular menu- chicken caesar salad, gilled chicken salad(the cous cous quantity if HUGE and is served with crumbled geta, sundried peppers which are heavenly and palm sized grilled chicken, i give their sandwiches a miss cz never really impressed. If you are a breakfast person, its a good place to try and you might get lucky with freshly bake croissants as well!
This is one of my favourite cafes for lunch. They have a Lunch Special every day and I follow their FB page in the mornings to know their special dish of the day. They try out new dishes every month. I particularly like their greek dishes. Their #gemista is one of my all time favourite dishes. Croissants are absolutely amazing and so is their coffee.
So we visited the cafe for breakfast, during Ramadan. It is a very nice place to sit and enjoy the morning.
Staff: warm and friendly
Food: fresh and tasty
Ambience: chill
Chocolate sauce pancakes: these were delicious, 3 layers of pancakes with strawberry and chocolate sauce between the layers. Chocolate sauce on the top layer. Honestly it's mouth watering, you see it, eat it and you just want it to never finish
Public cafe breakfast: a wholesome breakfast with bread, omelette(custom made) and fruit yogurt and honey parfait.
Chocolate crêpe: its a standard crêpe but I have still had better.
Overall it's a nice place for a weekend breakfast with family or friends, they serve a nice cup of coffee with a small cookie on the side too :)
As this café is right below my office building, I have tried a lot of different food here. Their croissants are the BEST, perfectly crunchy and crispy. They make it fresh as per our order, out of the 2 I have had; Cheese and Zaatar, the cheese one was more delicious, zaatar croissant had no filling but the spice powder over the croissant.
Their Chicken Ciabatta is the best sandwich out of all and they make it really well, it’s served with a side portion of fries. The bread is crispy with right number of fillings and isn’t dry at all. I have had this for a good 4-5 number of times and for some weird reason the last time I ordered this the Chicken was under cooked and difficult to chew and the fries portion given was also very small, hence the minus points for that.
Visited this place the other day for a calm and peaceful ambience seeing its reviews and pictures online. Was quite pleased with how the pictures did complete justice to the real place. It was a very peaceful place and the menu had a lot of variety in good prices as well. I ordered for the brownie with icecream (19aed). The brownie was soft and crispy and well served.
Healthy! Delicious! Nice ambience
Delicious daily dishes, healthy salads.
All you could ask for from a restaurant!
Keep it up guys. .

Quality. Value for money. Amazingly friendly environment with delicious home made food (Greek and international cuisine. The right place to chill, eat well and enjoy your coffee by the lake.
Best place in Dubai. Best option for breakfast the sunny side up. Everything is great and very well priced. The serve espresso coffee italian as it should be the right one. Its not a high advertise place but its for people that can understand good quality in a very descent price. Well done !
A good place to meet for a cup of coffee. Cool and casual just what you expect in a good cafe with some good food thrown into the mix to make the place popular and friendly.
Next time if you are in JLT and not knowing where to finish your proposal making or conducting your meeting, then do check this place out.
Healthy food. Great quinoa salad with Coffee.

Really lovely Ramadan discovery. Large, bright and airy place with delicious Greek-style coffee and pretty inventive breakfasts. The breakfast wrap has lots of tasty layers. Also, the semi-industrialist interior is nicely done without being too achingly cool, which can be off-putting when you just want a brew and a spot of guilty pleasure such as scrolling through The Economist online*
*The Mail Online's sidebar of shame really, if I'm honest
Quiet a chatty cafe in the lobby of Swiss Tower, JLT with mostly an office crowd. Public Cafe serves breakfast, lunch, bakery items, fruit juices as well as desserts.
A cup of cappucino and Cheese Croissant is what I had here.
The coffee was strong and perfect. Loved the coffee art! I enjoyed eating the croissant here as they had freshly prepared it; warm, crisp and cheesy!
On my next visit, I had a grapefruit juice. It was more on the sour side but good nonetheless. I had skipped lunch and this juice was quiet filling!
Staff and service were on point. Looking forward to try the greek desserts on my next visit! :xx
Just went there yesterday morning, due to a friends recommentation and yes I can also recommended. Great breakfast with great price. Eggs Bendedict had a good taste, the break fast muffin was nice and crispy. The Bacon and egg sunny side up was also very flavorful and came with a fruit salat on the side which contained strawberries, bananas, yoghurt and topped with honey. Further we had 2 glasses of orange jucice which were freshly squizzed. We will come back, definitely!
If you want to try a real Greek freddo cappuccino or frappe, you have to come here! Also you will be pleasantly surprised by dish of the day that is changed every day! I recommend "Moussakas". The portion is huge comparing to other portions in Dubai.
The daily greek dish makes me feel like home.
Prices are good and they have a good variation of salads and sandwiches.
Try the cheese pie. Not super oily, very light and the cheese is delicious.
Don't forget to enjoy the impeccable "freddo cappuccino" ala Greek!
We used to have lunch here most of the week days , very good place and i tried many different soup and all are tasty nice people work inside
Excellent and friendly service! that is the best part and what keeps me coming back to Public! the food is good, but ordinary for the most part, the traditional things you will find in a lobby cafe, the one thing i don't particularly like and this is just me its the location, being in the lobby of the tower you get lots of foot traffic that makes it hard to have an intimate conversation or a business meeting.
other than that, and by all means is no reason to not visit public, I highly would recommend it!
May I say...ummm...the best COFFEE ever! The guy Sebastian is very friendly and assisted our really large group with their orders.. And guess what, he didn't even pick a paper and pen!!!! How....!!??!?
The sandwich wasn't the best Greek one that I have had but the ambience, service, lemonade, dessert and coffee absolutely made up for it!
One of the dessert (last one on the menu) can't get the name (was a toughie to pronounce, like most Greek usually is) was scrumptious!
I use to work around JLT and had the best Greek coffee and mousaka in dubai here. Makes u not want to go back to your office and just chill in public forever. Owner Sebastian and his bro are super friendly and always throwing a smile. Try their daily special. Always so good =) Note to self : come back more often.
Probably the best coffee in Dubai.
Awesome service ; the guys are uber friendly and the rustic look and feel of the place is great. I had the steak and gluten free brownie. Fantastic. I would have preferred the steak to be less fatty but that's just my preference. The taste was still good. And oh yah. There's valet. That's a plus in such a parking less neighborhood. Do recommend.
