Finally checked out @mellowyellowuae at Uptown Mirdif. This cupcake was amazingg 😍 These guys give you the opportunity to create your own cupcake- cake, frosting, filling down to the candy on the frosting. I got myself a red velvet cupcake filled with a blueberry filling and finally topped off with a raspberry frosting and raspberry crackles. 👅 the cake was fluffy and super moist and goshh with creamy frosting, who doesn't love frosting ❤️ Anyways head down there guys cause I definitely have my eye on their breakfast menu too 💃💃 #foodgraphy
A nice place to hang out with friends .... The mellow decor goes well with a cup of coffee or the cool mock-tails, would recommend the watergranate. The create your own cupcake seems to be an interesting concept.
Great vibes! Music, a wide selection of magazines and a high shelf of books complemented with spot-on service.
I ordered Poached Eggs and Beans. The presentation was perfect (check picture for proof). The entrée was presented on top of toasted sourdough bread, a little too toasted. It wasn't easy to cut. The eggs were runny and alright. They tasted strangely sour for my taste and the beans were bland. On the other hand, I ordered a kettle of hot jasmine green tea, which was a delight. I also ordered some banana loaf to-go.
I also met a great book from the café's bookshelf!
With great prices, top-notch vibes and service, I'll have to return to this bakeshop and try out a new entrée. Certainly worth checking out. 3.5/5.
Went for a late breakfast with a friend and ordered a cheese flatbread, omelette and cheese french toast and a mellow yellow latte. The upside:
1. They serve all day breakfast
2. Its nice and quiet
3. It has comfortable and cosy interiors
4. You can chill for a while and nobody will bother you to leave
5. They have a wide variety of food options you can chose from
6. The flatbread and coffee were really good - the mellow yellow latte is served with date syrup *yum*
The downside:
1. The food was kind of oily - need to go easy on the oil guys!
2. The cheese french toast was nice but i think the breads too thick and didnt taste very fresh. Also it smelt kind of eggy
3. The cronuts and other stuff on display didnt look as fresh as is advertised. They need to work on their display
Overall, nice quiet place to enjoy a cup of coffee with a friend or just read a book. And the prices are great as well!
My ultimate favorite color is yellow! And this place is filled with yellow hence called mellow yellow so I'll be bias rating this time. I absolutely love the interior gives me positive vibes and productivity, that's why I choose to study there at times. Good food especially the best selling burger(forgot what's it called)is so juicy and full of flavor. The downside about this place is having a minimum charge of 20 to access Internet this makes it look materialistic
It's a lovely place... light kool decor makes it a comfortable spot to sip your coffee and relac.... pumpkin pancakes are too yummy. Cappuccino was just perfect. I didn't like the Chicken sandwich though! Chicken was dry and under cooked.
Tried the organic date cake...yum! The Mellow Yellow tea is refreshing. It's a cute and quiet little place, just my type of hang-out. Perfect for study or read time or just "me" time.
I'd say this place is about a half a step above the regular coffee shop cuisine. The food is all prepared and just toasted once u order so don't expect anything too fancy. But that being said I was quite satisfied with my meal.
The order was a fried lentil bucket, a spicy beef wrap and a big munch burger.
The lentil balls was a bit of a miss for me. It was basically just an indian pakora and I dint taste any cheese or jalapeño.
The beef wrap was nice; that's about all I can say about it. The burger alright...could be better; you could get better for the price.
The service and ambiance was nice though.
On the whole it was good for a one time try but not a revisit.

The snacks are fabulous..i love the red velvet and carrot cupcakes..am quite sure all are delicious..I even had a take away cupcakes, chocolate krinkles and choc balls..their fresh drinks and coffee are also refreshing and tasty...their staff are so friendly especially Shereen who makes our coffee..overall excellent will definitely come back..

I was very skeptical at first that the food would appeal to me, but I was hit with one of the best breakfasts I've had. The Cuppa Frittata was so delicious, the turkey ham chunks went beautifully with the eggs and brown bread, and the new addition of french toast - don't even get me started. Now that was a shocker! Something about the contrast and weirdness of putting cheese in the middle of your french toast just makes it all the more delicious 😲❤️ fresh orange juice, great service, cosy atmosphere
This is truly a hidden Gem. It's certainly Mellow but nothing about it is Yellow. Breakfast is a great start from its light fare to its full breakfast. One of the best Lattes I've ever had. There sandwiches are filling. Service, well great.
It's a great coffee in Mirdif. It has a very comfortable environment, a nice service, and I can't forget the cupcakes that are very good! I really like this place.

How I wish Mellow Yellow was in a lot more places in Dubai. But ofcourse, I'm happiest that it is in Mirdif. One of the most comfortable and coziness cafe's with a not too bright, but not too mellow of an interior. Everything looks as if it was placed right there for a reason. Even love their paintings that they've put up on the walls as they're so abstract.
Getting down to the food, I have always found their photos to be so super attractive which tempt me to try. And must I say, the food is actually great. One of my best finds up to date however, is the Mango Cheese Cake at mellow Yellow. Foodgasm!!!!
Im assuming it's a limited item since they have 8-10 slices a cake and I wonder how many cakes they make in a day.
I even like their pomegranate and watermelon cooler. Adding to the wow factor of the drinks is the funky juice jar which they give the drinks in with a small mellow yellow logo on it. Super friendly staff too here.

First time to uptown Mirdif to meet a friend here. Ordered for a chocolate smoothie which was not really rich enough for my taste but was alright. What i did enjoy was the chunky beef burger. The meat was juicy, soft and full of flavor. The fried onions added a zing to the taste and the bread was so soft, fresh and light. Thoroughly enjoyed my meal..

I had the organic date cake and the date coffee. The date cake was good, but the coffee was okay. I also tried the baklava cheesecake. It was good! Would definitely recommend it for baklava lovers.

Mellow yellow at Uptown Mirdiff... I'm very excited to taste their food and beverages.. Well, i'm not disappointed, aside from their food, staffs are accomodating and very approachable.. You will feel that you're belong as if they were you're "second family". As i enter the store, they greet me with their warm smiles. They assisted me and offered me what to try. They have salads, sandwiches, burgers, cakes, and meals with drinks. I've tried their tuna salad and its great..for those salad lovers try it. The smoked turkey wrap, its not that i really love the smoked turkey, but it was amazing! its now one of my favorite food to order in mellow yellow. This place will be one of my always destination for snacks. And i love the staffs too... My rating is based to overall experience!!! Others who love to have snacks, try this place and you'll never be disappointed.
We ate in this cozy cafe shop with my friends and the food is great, the chunky burger is like american burger that I used to taste in Florida 5 years ago but this burger has a twist of spicy taste and barbecue flavor and the service is wonderful also the staffs is very accommodating when we arrived, I will surely come back for more and try every food in the menu..
Its a great place with great food. Sadly, the manager is very rude. He doesnt know how to treat customers. Or maybe to asians customers only. He was realky arguing with us and so rude to us. Only because after we ate our food inside we went outside for smoke. While seating, a filipina lady pass by who are selling foods for employees inside uptown. He went out as soon as he saw that lady talking to us and was sending her away like she was a dog. I never saw anyone treating people like that. When we called his attention in how he treats the lady he started answering us rudely like we are not customers and told us he can do whatever he wants in his restaurant. Cant believe this kind of action. Hope this gets to the management and do something abt it.
It is a great place to hang out, so relaxing and they're serving the best food ever and when it comes to customer service all the staff are very accommodating. Love the ambiance 😊
A hidden gem, indeed. Great service from the courteous and friendly staff. Awesome food.. I suggest you try their crunchy munch burger. Pumpkin spaghetti is such a pleasant surprise for my tastebuds. I didnt expect it would taste that good. Plus, their mango cheesecake is the bomb!!! I've been there quite a few times already and Iced latte is always a buddy.

Mellow Yellow in Uptown Mirdif - I was looking forward to try the food at this place. This place has that really cozy and comforting atmosphere, where you can just easily lose track of time. This place has that artistic touch where you feel engulfed with surroundings.
Their staff are really patient and polite with the customers, proper restaurant/cafe service education. What I like most about this place is not just the food but that "family vibe" where you can feel yourself coming to a comfort zone and just chilling, eating some sweets and doing your work. This place offers all day breakfast, sandwiches, burgers and set of meals with drinks. The prices for the meals are reasonable plus it's good quality ingredients.
I ordered tuna wrap (toasted) it was just anreally simple recipe but has that unique taste. The taste is earthy with a hint of dulcet spicy & tangy flavor, wrapping tuna meat into the green lettuce is a great idea to have that spring viridity essences in the wrap. I like places promoting healthy side orders not only oily French fries but something different like their baked root vegetables (beetroot, pumpkin) they are just perfect and healthy.
The mini burgers I ordered had that really gentle meat patty not juicy but still had that marrow meat moister with the first bite, the combination of the sauce is really pleasant with a creamy smack flavor and it really has an appealing taste. Honestly I'm not a fan of pressed down meat patty when it's cooked since I prefer a huge round fat patty. The buns were just really buttery in taste with a fluffy texture and this was something tantalizing.
Well I think this place is great and worth the trip for a good snack and daily breakfasts because they also have delicious variety of sweets. We need these kind of places more in Dubai - local businesses that promote healthy and quality food for a good price not standard snacks but with a great twist.

Cute & colorfull cafe..... Where you can relax and read your book or chit chat with friends or just have a quiet time with ur partner and enjoy tasty and healthy food... Staff were very friendly...... Lot of healthy options in the menu.... I am sure they use best quality ingredients & vegges in all the dishes....
We ordered crisps & dip for starters.... Didn't expect it to be such a hit.... That we helped our selves with the second serving. Loved the roasted fruits&vegetables crisps and there were two dips one made out of curd & another beetroot both rocked ;-)
For drinks we ordered watergranate & lemon cooler... Both were nice but lemon cooler was worth ordering again .... All flavours were just perfect lemon, mint & ginger .....
Time for main course .... We ordered quinoa salad & Mediterranean vegetables focaccia sandwich full marks to both the dishes.....
Finally dessert..... We ordered red velvet & double trouble mini cup cake. Also tried their make your own cup cake vanila spong, filled with chocolate ganache with raspberry frosting. Cupcakes were not upto the mark.

Looking for healthy restaurant!! To eat with eyes closed!! Mellow Yellow!! they use the best ingredient you can feel it in every bite... baked Cronuts my favorite.... salads are very good. My favorite the Baklava Cheese Cake, a creamy Cheese Cake with a phyllo pastry crust.
A great local gem in mirdiff. I love their menu , simple , yet there is something for everyone . Their produce is always fresh and YOU must try their cakes, unique flavor combinations that you cannot find else where.
Good food. Good ambience. Good service. Good portions. We had the breakfast combo and the cuppa fritata, which were both yummm. Very family friendly! They had a shelf full of books to read including kiddie books. They had a big selection of baked goodies too. Sadly didn't get around to that. Their baklava cake is on my list of things to try next.
I can't believe I've been in Mirdif 2 years and just discovered this hidden gem! We got there at 9am on a Friday to find it relatively empty which is not a good sign but definitely not in the case ! The staff takes care of each tiny detail of your order....esp if you have a child along! I ate the sunny side up with bread......perfectly done and Latte was one of the best I've ever had. Do try the Date cake. ....its to die for.
Mridif! It's lunch time, this charming town is so quite it feels unreal and a bit depressing! Thankfully I can enjoy my beautiful quinoa and chicken salad at Mellow Yellow Uptown, so no complaints working here today and only today! It's a shame Mellow Yellow doesn't exist in Dubai, closer to home. Loved the food and would definitely come back to try all items on the menu if only this place was not so far!
I go to Mellow Yellow often for a coffee and has become a regular weekend hangout. so far -
Ambience - 4/5; the decor is quite nice with a good mix of comfortable mix of space including couches for sinking in and relaxing or dining tables should you want.
Service - 3.5/5; the reason for a lowish mark here is that they close quite quickly and take away the cushions. Otherwise getting spoons and cutlery is slow at peak hours.
Food - 4.5/5; their beetroot salad is delicious and burgers are pretty decent too. The cronut was bit flat bit their cupcakes are very good.
Heard a lot about this place and finally came for a lunch with my husband on our 1st anniversary. Love the interiors and the cozy set up of tables. We quickly ordered the Crisps & Dips and the Mini Chicken burgers. The portion size is good for individual meals. Loved how all the dishes were served on this rustic wooden plate. The fruit and vegetable crisps were very thin and freshly baked served with delicious beetroot dip and herbed creme cheese dip. My husband is not a very big fan of beetroot but this was an exception. We relished it completely. The chicken burgers were very juicy and served with potato wedges. Finally we called for the roasted bertroot and bulghar salad with pomegranate vinaigrette. The vinaigrette was the winner and made us clean the salad bowl. Nice and friendly staff.

I went there for breakfast on a Friday morning with my husband as we live in mirdif and had been eying the place on the way to the gym often.
So the best part about the place is its ambiance. If you are looking for a relaxed and peaceful place, this is it. No hassle wi fi, comfortable, bright and uplifting seating, magazines, books to read and games to play. Can take lots of fun pictures.
The beverages were awesome, I had the green smoothie. It came in this awesome looking jar and tasted as yummy and healthy as the name sounds. It was fresh and refreshing. My husband had the latte, which he loved.
The food: so here's the slightly disappointing part. I had the popular poached eggs and it said it came with a bean sauce. What does one picture when you hear 'bean sauce' something red or black right? Well this sauce was like hummus made with chickpeas. As a result, the entire meal was a lil more bland than I expected. However the presentation was amazing.
My husband had the cuppa frittata. The lady on the counter forgot to tell us it takes time to prepare and his meal came way after I finished eating mine. So I was a bit upset, but the manager apologized and wanted to refund us for the frittata, but we asked for the red velvet cupcake instead. The frittata was definitely worth the wait.
Desserts: so easily one of the best red velvet cupcakes I have ever had. You know why? Coz they put enough cream cheese and weren't stingy with it. Till the last bit of the cupcake I had enough cream cheese to go with it.
Overall, I am definitely going there again and would recommend to go there, but make sure u're going there to have a lazy meal and not a quick one.

Great atmosphere and hangout place. I've seen many students who go there to study and work on projects. They serve quality food, their menu includes a lot of healthy options.
Finding a good coffee in this area is not easy, but mellow yellow servers one of the best coffees i had , i keep coming back for great atmosphere , great service and great food!
They are promoting healthy eating so they have a lot of organic foods , recommend the burger its a highlight !

nice coffee shop with new theme and lots of cupcake selection. .. the only "Negative" point is the outdoor wooden chairs! cause a real back pain, a cushion must be provided for back support. .. The coffee shop management should take this into consideration asap.

As an Interior Architect, the first thing I notice in any space is it layout and space planning apart from the details and architectural embellishments. Walking into Yellow Mellow, I just couldn't get over its wonderful industrial feel, it's subtle soho chic vibe, the exposed concrete floors, brick walls and exposed ceiling!
Being a die hard Red velvet fan, I just had to try the red velvet shake! Gasp it was amazing! The Mediterranean Vegetable Focaccia was precise and the overall taste was just right!

Disclaimer: I didn't have any of Mellow Yellow's wonderful looking desserts. When I try them, I will update my rating.
We read some stuff in TOD and The National about Mellow Yellow so we were excited to try it. First of all, the place looks amazing. It's polished and bright. It reminds me of a place back in the States. The sweets in the counter looked yummy.
The wife went with the MY Muesli with yogurt. It was fine, nothing special. It may have been better with milk. I had the Mini Beef Burgers. Nice presentation on the slate. The burgers were juicy, but a tad on the salty side.
I ordered an Affogato, which I really enjoy. Whenever I go somewhere that has it on the menu, I have to have it. The Affogato at Mellow Yellow was so disappointing. The coffee was fine, but the vanilla ice cream was icy. It looked like it had been in the back of someone's freezer for too long. The coffee and creamy vanilla ice cream should mix to make it awesome. It took so long for my ice cream to melt. I was pretty much drinking coffee with a huge vanilla ice cube in it.
Not impressed on my first visit, but worth a return.
Healthy food and good value for money. Polite staff and great personalized service. Portions are just right and won't leave you feeling guilty after! This place deserves more attention. Definitely one of my loves for this season.
I attended the opening day and i come many often to this cafe, it's very unique with the bright colors and various painting that cover the walls. The stuff are very friendly and polite. Free wifi is available you don't need for internet voucher. The books on the shelves are enjoyable, you can pick any of them and kill your time. The menu is decent and not bad at all for light snacks, I recommend the red velvet cupcakes, they're yummy and fresh. I love working on my university projects there, it's quiet and no rush there.
