Who would think I would end up here...the oldest restaurant in Dubai! I had to try it and they didn't disappoint. In the same time: it gives a nice twist in my dine time line 😃.
You might get a bit intimidated by the Arabic/Asian men you find there, but that's part of the experience.
Their food selection is like any other Yemeni place and offers enough for vegetarians too. But the main thing to return back for is the bread, giant bread that is delicious.
An absolute traditional Yemeni restaurant with classy Yemeni cuisines.
Ive dined in here several times and ordered also quite a few times.
Mandi, Madhbi, and madhfood all are one better than the others.
Their portion of rice is too lavish. If you are one that can't finish a huge portion or don't want to waste, ask them to reduce the rice quantity.
They deliver to all nearby areas.

The order i got in perfect time with perfectly packed
I ordered Mutton madfoon , arabic salad , etc
The madfoon they send is like one container full rice and with the Silver foil they foiled the mutton seperately , that looks soo yumm and it has the perfect experience like eating in dine in
And i loved their Mutton soup very well.
Making nice mutton soup and charcoal mandi 👍🏻, recommended highy Also i tried cheese konafa was very tasty.

Even I am staying very near to this place. I never been visited until one of my friend suggested to me for mandy.
Their restaurant look is not new from outside. so people don't think something is inside ?. I think most of their customers are regular visitors. I will tell you why
What I tried:
1. Chicken Mandy/ Chicken Madhby
Rice and chicken Taste were original and authentic Arabic. No masala so healthy (I always like healthy food).
Quantity and taste for money. You can get more rice if you want. Chicken and rice were nicely cooked with amazing taste (its original mandy/madhby taste).
And they use same rice for madhbi and madhfoon. Along with you will get a natural soup, salad plate and small box of yogurt/curd. Both mandy and madhby tastes were good.
3. Meat Waslah
Its a mutton item. I liked the taste and mutton was cooked well and nicely
4. Kunafeh -- (Traditional arabic sweet item with cheese inside)
It was not good. But was an amazing one :) . Whenever i passing by the restaurant the taste will come on my tongue.
All together the experience was very good. Nice staffs. faster service. Tasty and healthy food. If you are looking for original mandy. Go and give a try

Dont go for the "out of the norm" name of the restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised after having my lunch here. The mandi flavor is really good and so is the variety in the menu.
We got it delievered. The quantity was good and so was the time of delivery.
much improved after the renovation, really liked their bread must say.
grilled chicken, meat nashif, hammous and their spicy dips are , still superb value but improved quality..
I've been visiting this restaurant since I was a kid. So many nostalgic memories. It's a traditional Yemeni restaurant that specializes in signature dishes such as Mandi, Madhbi, Madhfood and so on. Don't expect a lavish set up. The decor and ambiance are very simple and straight forward. Don't forget to say Hi to 'MoosaKa' Food is prepared fresh and their soup and tomato chutney are worth dying for.
