Food is too tasty and the environment is good. The price is reasonable and worth it.
Nice staff, pretty comfy colorful chairs, two zones - smoking and non-smoking. Got a cold cappuccino, which was nice and not too sweet, and a peach shisha - not a lot of smoke and it lost all the taste pretty fast, not that there was a lot in the first place. Haven’t tried the food, tho it looks amazing on the menu.
The total check was 78AED for one person.

Love this little cafe that's always busy but serves absolutely lively food. They also have a sheesha area and the staff and service are good. Lively collection of savories, fresh bakes and fantastic breakfast. You will love this place that is very reminiscient of a Paris style cafe!
This restaurant / cafe is undoubtedly one of the best restaurants in Dubai. The food here is very tasty and healthy and it is carefully prepared to be low in calorie and fat.
It is open 24 hours and car parking is avaliable, I tried many dishes, especially oats porridge dish which was my favorite breakfast meal with tuna sandwiches and apple juice.
There is a dedicated area for smokers/ non-smokers , the cafe also provide shisha and has a quiet and beautiful decoration and freindly staff.
I advise everyone to visit this cafe and try all the dishes there and you will return again and again and again like what happened with me

A great place, love the daily lunch menu! excellent price, quality and quantity. Delivery is always fast, all the other food I tried always have been great as well, my rating in not actually 4 i could say a 4.5 why i do not give the 5 stars yet, because they keep forgetting to send straw in my orders with drinks, so until then a 4.5 hehe :)
Went there for some desserts and shisha. Serves freshly made desserts. We had the chocolate eclair and chocolate fudge brownie, loved it.

Amazing food and speed of delivery
We visited La Gaufrette for a quick casual hangout after work. The place was quite busy for a weekday evening, but after stepping in, we realized why - it's a hidden gem, well tucked away in the middle of Barsha Heights! Despite being nearly at capacity, the service was quick and very friendly. The staff was very helpful and eager to recommend the best selections for my friends and checked up on us frequently to see if we were enjoying our time and our food. We had some coffee (La Gaufrette Coffee) which was delicious with plenty of chocolate sauce and two different types of cheesecake - the baked cheesecake and the blueberry one. The baked cheesecake is to die for! Will definitely be going back someday to try a hot dish on their menu - whatever we saw being carried to the tables around us looked absolutely mouthwatering!
Good clean yummy food , I like their breakfasts as well as heir grilled dishes, desserts are yummy too, good selection of beverages, good shisha.
Cons: it can get too stuffy when it's crowded, service can be slow with certain members.
All in all it's a good place to grab a bite and enjoy a shisha with friends.
These mini cupcakes are to die for, extremely yummy and reasonable ( 2 dhs each ) A must try in La Gaufrette along with all the other pastries! Great for birthday's and anniversary's!

My favourite cafe in Barsha heights. It's a very chilled place and the staff are so nice and friendly. All the food is good. I love the sandwiches and the daily dishes. Price is very reasonable and the quality is great. Delivery service is very timely. One of my highly recommended places in Dubai
This was my first time here and im definately going again,especially for this crepe.It was just the right kind. The sheesha here is good too.
Visited them with friends,We had ordered a few drinks and snacks to nibble on.The drinks were good and made to our liking,the snacks was good(flavorful).The shisha was not good at all,it burnt out very quickly because they use big coal and not little pieces like every other place that serves shisha.The shisha man always had a smile on his face and that kept us very happy throughout our time spent here.The Manager was seen actively involved! We will be back for desserts!!
Visited for work lunch to catch up with some old friends. The place has a wide variety of food and shisha. The place has a nice ambiance and the dish I ordered was a typical grilled chicken dish. I like the quinoa that came with it as well as the mushroom sauce on the side. Overall an average place with decent food and a wide of variety of choices. Recommend for business lunch only.
Used to be a regular here for shisha, it's quite good and I like the positive vibes, it's so chilled out and you can sit for hours catching up on all things missed with your friends. I like their fish and chips and lemon mint, their desserts look inviting, I would love to try them next time. Their service is ok and it's definitely a pocket friendly place.
It is a good coffee shop, they have smoking and nonsmoking area, also indoor and outdoor. There food is not perfect, but good.. They have a good variety of drinks, same for the desserts, waffles are perfect. The staff is friendly and the music is good!
Used to be a regular eater at this place when I was living in tecom. This place just does it simple and right. They have a great lunch menu and a must try is their chicken sub sandwich. They were more generous years ago and offered bread and butter for free, now they charge for it...not cool. Also they tend to be very smoggy during summer period since they have shisha, so take care if ur an anti smoking person. Note: dont forget to try their french desserts specially the eclair
If you stay in tecom and are craving for crepe during midnight then this is the best place to go

This place is open 24hours, so when you stumble in at 5am you have to expect some food to be pre-prepared and re-heated to order, not the worst sin of cooking a dish and trying to keep it heated all day until ordered! (which many restaurants in do) Their lasagne was so good I burnt the top of my mouth gobbling it down. One of the few places here that do not load Italian dishes with salt, they don't do it in Italy so Im confused why so many places do?

Since this area is my work place i get to visit many cafes here but la Gaufrette I visited time. I always wanted to go but something on the other end left. This place offers a huge variety of food with mouth watering desserts . Their pasta are just so amazing ! They are also very famous for coffees so one should not miss their brewed coffee. I wanted to eat less so I can satisfy my tummy with desserts . I am not so chocolate fond but with friends we went for chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream our typical choice when comes to chocolate. Brownie was so soft that once you start eating you can stop only when it's over. We also tried their ice creams scoops and this time no chocolate for sure..we had mango ice cream which was also ok. It was too sweet though for me but I'm sure many ppl would like it. Nitin Bharwani
My second visit to this restaurant and I usually stick to the same order which is Penne Arrabbiata. I have to say that this particular pasta of theirs is just perfectly suited to my taste and I just can't seem to get enough of it! They serve it with some nice toasted bread and the meal while not over filling is just enough to call a decent meal. I would give this place a 4 just for this one dish which is my fav and also my benchmark to measure how good the restaurant is for italian cuisine. Would suggest anyone find of this dish to try it for sure!

I was craving from something sweet so i ordered the tuti fruti gaufre (waffle).
The portion was huge topped with fresh fruits and some nice whipped cream on the side.
Price, affordable.
Open 24 hours located in tecom this venue has a wide range of food and pastries I ordered the chicken breast in mushroom sauce with rice which was the best. Their gaufrette which is a waffle topped with any topping of your choice is also delicious. Parking is available wifi is also available would definitely come back.

La Gaufrette is a regular place of visit for me and my friends. The place has great shisha (one of our main vices), great food and killer ambience. The shishas are great and the service is like clockwork. The food menu has a lot of options and so do the drinks. I love the Teddy Bear (one of the sweet crêpes) and their fresh juices are really good.
The only reason I did not rate them as 4.5 is because they are an expensive joint. #thisplaceisnotforthefaintpocketed
Overall, great food, great shisha and great service. 10/10 would go again.

My first visit here was a quick one to get some work done. I ordered the La Gaufrette Coffee and a Almond Muffin. The coffee was more on the bitter side, muffin was good!
I wanted to try their waffles (as they are known for it) but was running out of time so decided to pay another visit.
Gaufre: a famous Belgian waffle with a unique taste!
I would say the waffles served here are really, really good. It was crisp and soft at the same time with the right amount of sweetness. You wouldn't even need any syrup or sauce on it. It is that good!
I ordered for the Mango Strawberry Gaufre. The mango slices & scoop were sort of sour. I didn't really like it. But the vanilla scoop and strawberry slices worked just fine!
La Gaufrette is a really busy cafe in Tecom serving breakfast, savories, desserts and also shisha! They do have outdoor, indoor as well as a few garden seatings! Staff were pretty attentive and the best part is their open 24 hours! Glad to have found this place. Definitely come back for more!

Satisfied our waffles craving after work. I remember being to LA Gaufrette in burjuman as a kid for waffles, but that's all.
We got the mango and strawberry waffle, along with the banana coco one. Both were delicious. The waffles were more well done than I like but the dough was really good. The mango ice cream that accompanied the first waffle was delicious but could use more chocolate sauce. I loved my banana chocolate waffle but opted to get it with the vanilla ice cream.
We also got an order of the potato wedges with honey mustard sauce which was pretty good as well.
The place is quite popular and was busy on a weekday evening. I will definitely be back to check out the mains and shisha!

Their iced coffee (especially the new Guafratto) is SO delicious! It is a nice chilled place with decent food and shisha, and the fact that it is 24 hours is amazing.
Good cafe in Tecom, quick service, good quality food. They're also a very good option if you are ordering home delivery as they always deliver earlier than the quoted delivery time. Personal favorites are the pastas, the salads and the omelettes. Good internet connection as well if you're after doing some work there. Only negative is that the smoke can be quite annoying if you are in the smoking area and the indoor area can be too cold to sit in if you want to avoid the smoke. Still a very good cafe nevertheless.
So I stay in tecom and I have always heard about this resto, so i was at home and my sweettooth called me, we came with family, my folks got an onion soup which had a small portion, they got rocka salad as well, it had reasonable size, we ordered chicken cajun sandwich which was so delicious as per my father, also portion is good, I ordered an apple tart with vanilla icecream and caramel sauce, it was yummy and delicious and delivered the sugar i was craving for. My mom got brownie topped with icecream which wasn't as good as the apple tart... It is not comparable with other restaurants serving of the brownie N icecream, it is acceptable anyhow,,, the ambiance is friendly and the staff are so lovely, helpful and always ready to help.
Ps. Tell your staff to stop refilling water. Some customers get bothered of this gesture.

Simply the best Sheesha I have ever tried anywhere in Dubai. Even after 45mins the Sheesha was as fresh as new and did not even trouble my throat for a single minute. They actually know how to make a good sheesha otherwise everywhere I tried, after some minutes you start to feel the ash of the coal. Gaufre Chocoba was amazing and delicious if you like sweet things. Club sandwich is a great choice if you are hungry and want to grab a bite of chicken.
Cute spot with a parisian flair. Choosing from the pastry selection was not easy-they all looked fresh and delicious. The strawberry tart I went for did not disappoint.

In a bit more detail, because I was living right next to their restaurant I did visit 'La Gaufrette' a lot. My craving for a good sheesha was thoroughly satisfied by these guys which I would save the rest of Tecom failed in doing.
The staff is amazingly friendly and top notch. I would definitely recommend going for breakfast and stopping by for coffee with a sheesha.
Their food is a bit bland but their are a few dishes which great. Would highly recommended ( rather insist) that one should always order the Spaghetti Bolognese
Living in Tecom this place is hardly 5 mins walking distance... Their sheesha is perfect....the service is very good and so is the food..
Since LG is surrounded by many other sheesha cafes with reasonable prices they might lose a few customers
I must say "la gaufrette" is one of the best restaurant in Tecom, though not everything on their menu is good! Service is good and staff are friendly and smiley. Since i live near i tried most of their menu items, i really recommend the salmon sandwich, chicken a la kiev, and fir deserts you cannot miss their teddy bear crepe ? my favorite! If you dont over order you would pay an average of 170 AED for 2 people. Shisha is good too!
This is our usual hangout place. La Gaufrette tecom has the best shisha in town. Menu options are limited but taste and quality is good. Staff is mostly friendly.

I must say, even though i have never been there they have got a good place to get hook up with hookah. Their food selection had made me to write a review about them. I have been delivered a portion of their Grilled chicken. indeed !! it was well tendered and did kept its textutre even as for a Home Delivery. Pretty decent priced restaurant. Recommended.
I lived very close to La Gaufrette abd I've been there many many times in the last 3 years. This restaurant opens 24h and it serves one of the best sheesha in Tecom.
Salads and appetizers are very good, main courses are good but not excellent.
It is all about atmosphere; because it is very cozy you will feel yourself sitting in one of the main marina restaurants.
If you are living in Tecom or nearby; this is a very good place to have a quick snack.
La Gaufrette offers a friendly and casual atmosphere with great food and shisha. Their menu is pretty good and they serve very good fish and chips. From breakfast to desserts and drinks, they have perfected it all!

La Gaufrette is one of those cafes with a fascinating and captivating decor, the sort that invites and tempts you to try out the place. Its the sort of place you'd want to take your date to for breakfast. The french are known for their attention to detail, their class and their petite nature. On the negative side though, they didn't do the same for the food.
The decor and the set up is incredible, you cant miss the beautiful furniture they have. Each chair on the inside has a picture of a piece of french architecture on it . The staff and service is also good though, although they were quite slow, which was frustrating since there really wasn't that much crowd.
The menu looks good aesthetically, but the actual items on the menu aren't any thing special. I didn't see much that stood out except their Grafes which they claim is their specialty. So I ordered a grafe/waffle with coffee ice cream, whipped cream, mocha sauce and almonds. My friends ordered a coffee milkshake and watermelon juice.
The presentation was fantastic, as you can see, but it took over half an hr to get my waffle, which was way too much time. It tasted great, but I felt the waffle could have better and thicker. The milkshake was ok, the watermelon apparently wasn't up to mark. I haven't tasted any of the main course items, so I cant comment on them. The desserts looked mouth watering and well decorated.
To put it simply, do check out the place for a classy feel at breakfast, but the only thing you will be returning here is for that fine dining classy style.

After a long time we finally made it to La Gaufrette. The French bistro in the heart of Tecom, Dubai was on our bucket list for far too long. Finally we made it there and met Martin from I Consult Hotels for a glass of fresh Ice Tea. We arrived first and when the waitress passed by we noticed that her name tag was upside down. When mentioning the same to her she looked with eyes wide open, smiled in a cheeky way and said: ‘Well that’s just for fun!’ Mhhh, not an answer nor an attitude we would have expected, but definitely a statement.
The place itself is quite cool. Indoor as well as outdoor seating is available, the furniture held in a French bistro kind of atmosphere. La Gaufrette is open 24 hours a day, which is not that common in Dubai for a place like that. The location is convenient, the offer or snacks, pastries and beverages as expected, the service lacks a bit in terms of speed, communication and showing the right attitude towards guests. A little less laissez-faire and bit more care would made the time spent at La Gaufrette even better.

I usually visit tecom branch.. Food is lovely specially the chicken sub sandwich.. Their bread are really soft .. Desserts are great as well.. Prices are average.. I love this place also staff are presentable and friendly
