Ordered Pothi chicken biryani. Order was delivered quickly. The biryani was traditionally prepared along with boiled egg, lemon pickle, coconut chutney and papadam. Alongside raita and sweet. Taste was good mildly spiced and good quantity. Would give it a try again.
This place serves good Kerala food at affordable prices. They also have a reasonably efficient delivery service. Special mention should go to their King Fish Curry, which is wholesome & tasty, and will leave you licking your fingers!
This place is very cozy. I really liked pootu and kadala curry here.
There is also banan leaf meals from 12-4pm which has different varieties of curry and dal.

I came here once again to try the beef dishes, which was very tasty in my last visit before an year. But beef curry I ordered this time is little bit needs improvement. We can find too much mustard inside which is not supposed to be.

The best thing about this restaurant is that they deliver the food on time. Pocket friendly restaurant with a wide range of food. Happy with the service and will recommend this restaurant, if you are looking for a pocket friendly and at the same time above average quality food.
I was living near the restaurant before that time I used to have food from here because of nice kerala food..but the restaurant ambience was not upto standard.. But 2 days before me and my husband went and was surprised to see renovated look..nice ambience and food taste and quality also improved drastically. We ordered dosa, beef fry and chicken curry..chicken curry was not upto our expectations but not bad also..Beef fry tasted divine...same taste as that of kerala thattukada..awesome..spongy dosa..above that smiling faces of servers and well behavior which are hard to find these days. Best for inviting families..Loved the taste of food... will come back definitely for more nadan food. ♡

This restaurant reminded me of Kerala's Thattukada. I had ordered Kingfish fry masala, Chicken Biryani and Kappa with Beef curry. The food was relatively good and too oily. But I am extremely disappointed with the delivery, it took more than an hour to deliver wherein I lived really close to the restaurant. Moreover the packaging was a disaster, all the curry items were leaking and the Biryani was all over the bag that they had brought from the restaurant. Please buck up your packaging and delivery.

Early morning on a Friday, what could be more pleasant than a big smile at your door step with an assortment of steaming hot items, idli and sambar, crispy appam with spicy egg roast then set dosa with more of mild portions of more sambar. The spicy egg roast is a wake up call and gets you fully awake. If that is not awakening enough, bring the curtains down on the malabar morning walk with a cuppa of filter coffee. Keep the smile going Ottupura.

Oottupura is an midrange hotel where all the menu items come under budget.
I have tried most of the items in the menu and what my favorite is kanji + payar + pappad and natholi fry.. 😋
Nothing like getting your hands on some fresh hot porrottas and taking them down with some spicy curry, and so it happened, here at this small restaurant at meena bazaar while I was craving for some good food.
The menu is reasonably priced and all the items seems to be budget friendly. The food was hot and tasted quite nice, the squid masala had the right amount of spices and also the wheat puttu went well with the beef fry and their complimentary gravy, they also serve steamy hot appams which were good as well. I am yet to try their rice items but as of now I would definitely recommend this place for dinner if u crave for some kerala food.
Update: just tried their naadan chicken fry, fried rice and butter chicken, and it was really nice. I especially enjoyed their fried rice, felt it was par above the average restaurants. :)
