A good place to have seafood. Slightly on the higher price end but worth what you pay for. You get to select live fish from many tanks and they cook it the way you want. Got pan seared scallops, hammour and fried rice. Definitely visiting again !!!
Weekend dinner at Seafood Market in Le Meridian, Al Garhoud.
As the name suggests, it’s a must visit place for seafood 🦞 lovers. Guests get a chance to see the large variety of seafood live n raw. We chose jumbo prawns 🍤, hamour fish 🐠 & a lobster 🦞. There was a variety of sauces to choose from. We opted to grill the prawns. For lobster we chose 2 different sauces i.e schezwan n garlic sauces. Fish was cooked with chilli sauce . These were served with steamed rice 🍚 n steamed veggies.
We were served spring rolls & crispy fried seasame bread 🍞too. The whole experience was amazing - The food was very delicious 😋 & the service was personalized!

We were craving seafood and wanted to explore the best that the city has to offer and Seafood Market was definitely right up there. The food options we tried including fried Calamari, Sauted Clamps and Grilled Salmon were as fresh as it gets and melted in the mouth as we gobbled them up.
On the side we had wine, beer, cocktails and shisha to complement the great food and it was all as good as it gets although a bit expensive given the view/ambience. The service was attentive and personalized, the kind of impeccable old-school Dubai service that you come across in some of the older fine dining joints in this city, shoutout to Mathew and team for taking care of us. Overall, it was a perfect dinner and and we were left satisfied and wanting more!
The fried calamari, Malaysian style fish your way and the Thai soup are standouts. Rice doesn't lag behind either. If you like fish and want it your way with portions to share, hop in for a premium experience. One of the favorite joints for a seafood fix. Pleasing staff and ambience that's great for crowds. Consistently good, will recommend.
Everything that was served to me was unforgettable. I dont know what they were all called but the tom yum soup was so good, i wanna be Thai! Their mango salad was also amazing, its got all the flavor profile in one plate! What a fantastic dinner last night at the seafood market. The best seafood and the freshest. Ordered for starters the prawns in hot garlic sauce and prawns in butter garlic. This was followed by fried calamari. Full marks for all three starters. Main course was steamed fish and fish in thai green curry. Simply superb. Service with a smile. Ambience was average but the food made up for it
One of the oldest restaurant in Dubai. Food quality is the same since day one. The food there is very delicious and the concept of how do you choose the food and how do you want it to be cooked is really great. I also recommend the Passion Fruit drink. And for desert make sure you order the mango thingy I don’t know what it’s called But you cannot miss it!
When I think of fresh fish in dubai, this place is usually top of mind. Love the customization as you pick your fish, way of cooking it and sauce on top. Mind you this place is a little pricey given similar concepts around Dubai and a little more formal. Not the place you go to for an informal dinner.
Best Seafood restaurant in Dubai. Been eating there for 12 years and consistently had nothing but great experiences. Live seafood is superb, favorite entree is the lemon butter prawns and favorite main is the sweet chili lobster (Omani lobster is always good value). Service is top notch and the manager Stanley who has been there forever is one of the best f&b managers in Dubai. Some say the location is a downside but for me it’s a little piece of Dubai heritage.
One of my all time favorites. Been going there for 14 years. Best seafood in town. Manager Stanley should have his pic on the wall he has been there that long. Not the best location but worth the drive.
It was afternoon time and we went for lunch we were four and decide to eat some Asian food and it's was really very good experience specialy the concept to choose the live seafood and the good part it was display inside the de the restaurant just the lobster in lemon butter sauce I don't like I thi k you need to check for better taste apart from this very good ambience and vibes nice service and decent place 💪
Very rarely i give 5/5 but Seafood market is one of my weakness in Dubai that i have been visiting for several years now. You can visit anytime of the year and order the fresh catch and choose your cooking preference and viola sit back, relax, fasten your seat belts and glide to foodly divine experience of life time. Various options of cooking to choose from but do try prawns in cheese and butter sauce or coconut lemon grass spicy flavored and you will rock !! Keep it up Team Seafood Market !!!

Iv been going this this restaurant for over 10 years, this is one of the oldest restaurant in dubai, and one of the only restaurant that maintains their standards when it comes to quality, all our guest loves the seafood market, so far we never got any bad feedbacks from our guest! Must have: Jumbo prawns(grilled), squid(fry/grill),pomfret(best if fried), hamoor(grill/steam), sea-bass(steamed).

Seafood market is the place we go to for all the special occasions. They have amazing food. One of the best seafood restaurants in Dubai. The food is fresh, tasty and well presented. The ambience is really good. And the family rooms give us the privacy we need. Overall an amazing place!
Parking is in plenty. The servers were friendly, charming and available. The seafood display is curious and tempting. We have selected all we could eat. They suggested the preparations and we waited. The ambiance is great. They served food promptly. Fish and shrimps were fresh and tasty. Seafood was great but the accompaniments and the condiments were the superstars. Loved it.

Forget the hype of the trendier and cooler new Dubai restaurants, when you want a truly good meal that leaves you satisfied then you need to come here. The prices aren't cheap, but you don't feel ripped off like you do in other 5-star restaurants in the city. The quality and freshness are superb, excellent preparation and service, and the portions are generous enough to leave you full. The ambiance is definitely a bit dated but I'd trade a little ambiance for good food any day.

This is one of my father's favorite seafood restaurant.
I have been here a few times and the food is always great here. We get fresh seafood here, all the seafood available here is live in tanks and we just need to chose what u like and tell them the preparation.
U have these huge water tanks with lobsters, fish, crabs, octopuses and many more. So many varieties of lobsters like Omani, Canadian, Australian and others.
We got prawn sesame toast and veg spring roll as complimentary starters. That was yummy.
Dad ordered vegetables in soya sauce with veg fried rice and I ordered my all time favorite lobster baked with cheese and butter garlic sauce it was out of this universe. The sauce of the lobster was driving me insane plus the lobster was so fresh and soft.
The lobster was medium size but the portion was quite large.
Oh ya all Indians esp sindhis please order the famous sindhi sauce yes u read it right SINDHI sauce it's yummy soya bases sauce. The recipe was handed over to them years bk by their sindhi patrons.

I visited the restaurant on Valentine’s day for a nice meal with my Husband and Daughter. We decided not to go for the set menu. Our order was
Appitizers: Prawn cocktail / Deep Wonton / Deep Fried Crab with Salt, Chilly and Pepper
Main course: Fried Noodles with Seafood / Red Snapped Steamed with black beans, garlic, onions and coriander leaves in Oyster sauce, soy sauce & sesame oil.
Dessert: Black Forest Cake and Carrot Cake.
The food was tasty.. Didn't get to take any pics as it was served before we could.

We ordered some starters - prawns & crab + fish in lemon butter sauce and hamour in black pepper sauce. The Thai curry sauce and the black chilli sauces are a good add on, if you love it spicy.
Lunch on a week day at this restaurant is busy and I did some decent crowd coming here to relish the sea food and experience this restaurant has to offer.
Getting here is not a challenge, since this happens to be a part of the Le Meridian hotel and parking and access is just right.
Definitely recommended as a must try!!

Still one of the best seafood restaurants in Dubai after being around for more than 20 years. Fresh seafood and delicious taste. Cooking is more of a Thai style not western. Service is good and waiters ate knowledgeable. Decor is simple but nice. The only downside is that they have not introduced any new items or way of cooking. So if one is a regular visitor then the choices would be limited.

Okay, I would say the night we dine at Seafood Market was the best FOOD COMA experienced I'd ever been in my life. Literally FOOD COMA! Name it and you will have it all. From Sea Foods, Oozing Steak, Grilled chicken, Sushi, Raw food, all types of Sweets, Fruits , Drinks and so many things.
Plus, you would love to eat more because of the ambiance approach especially when you visited the place around cold seasons, such a lovely place! If you really wanna experience the best then you have to pay the PRICE.

Ok, I have to be honest, I'm not the biggest fan of seafood. But Seafood Market has given me one of the best experiences when it came to seafood. It is here that I tried Oysters and Lobsters for the first time, and my were they lovely!!
To recount the night, I was staying in the Meridien village and headed here for dinner with my dad and his friend. We started with a bottle of champagne which set things in motion. For appetizers, we had the prawn on toast with sesame seeds. Not much prawn, but good flavour to the dish. This was followed by the oysters. Although hesitant at first to try them (thank you Mr. Bean), I really enjoyed them with a dash of lemon and tabasco sauce. Can't wait to have some more!
After a few conversations it was time to order some wine before heading to the live seafood counter for the mains. It was really amazing just to see the wide variety of fresh seafood available! We decided to order a lobster along with a seabass and fried squid. This was to be accompanied by fresh vegetable fried rice and veggies cooked in thai sauce. The seabass was delicious and really well cooked. The squid too was nice. I didn't like the lobster as much though, found it a bit chewy for my liking. The rice was nice.
The place has a nice and spacious feel to it, nothing like the seafood markets in India! The service is excellent, no problems with that! Pricing is good. Availability of wines and desserts may be the only issue, but thats a very minute thing! Overall a fantastic place to dine. Those who are staying at the Meridien village or nearby, make sure you visit this place!
My family loves to go here on Friday's, and they always have delicious fish. Their grilled salmon, sea bass, grilled shrimps, and steamed vegetables are definitely recommended.

another important thing to note is they have a private seating area which is great if you want some privacy while chowing down on their finest cuisine. Their customer service was pretty good until I spotted a dead fly in my fruit platter the waiters dint seem to care and reacted as it was normal , other than this minor grip, i really enjoy the food there and recommend everyone to try at least once
This is my Seafood Market. There are many seafood restaurants like this, but this one is mine. My seafood market is my best friend. It is my life. Without it, I am useless.
In other news, their food is amazing, but when I ordered the lobster, it took quite a while to make. I suggest getting the scallops and squid calamari, so good. And don't order their hamour fillet grilled, it was dry and bland.

Easily one of the very best seafood restaurants in Dubai. Its spacious, airy, well-appointed interior is an ideal setting for business or pleasure – or both. The staff are polite, courteous, friendly and hugely accommodating. You are taken to choose from an impressive selection of the freshest seafood; some on ice, some in tanks, which is then taken to the kitchen and cooked to you preference, Asian being mine. No matter which style I’ve ordered, the food has been unbelievable, the chefs true aqua-masters. The Seafood Market, although a little pricey, never disappoints.

I went their for for lunch. I liked the idea of walking around and choose your fish and the way it is cooked. the variation is great, the fishes, shrimps and prawns, lobster, and a variation of crabs types that brought from different place around the world. I also loved the decoration and the distribution of the tables. the service is great and the food is delicious, what more you can ask for. highly recommended and the price is just right.

I would definitely recommend this place. It's a no BS restaurant that pride themselves on serving up the ocean in the best way possible.

This place is our to go to spot. We never miss an occasion to come here, my family loves it. Its our celebration spot, any birthday, guest, family member whatever it is we end up booking a table here.
The place is easy to locate and parking is free. The staff over the phone can be sometimes a bit confused, so booking a table can be a bit tough.
As soon as you enter this place, the staff is polite courteous, as if you have entered the heavens of restaurants, paradise. The staff is always caring about your needs, your glasses will always be full, and tummies too. Managers are very friendly and always pop in to ask if everything is ok, they dont only walk around and shake hands like some others place they take part in the service too, if they have to, which shows how much they are involved, and let me tell you that is rare!
The place is very expensive, the bill can end up beeing quite an investment because you pay for the weight of the seafood you select and for cooking charges to top it. But its definetly worth it.
This is a very cool concept where as soon as you are seated you get to pick you drinks from an ipad. Then you get some appetizers complimentary spring rolls and prawns toast. Then you are off to the fish counter to pick you catch and the cooking style you want for it. We have pretty much sampled everything possible on their menu, their sides are pretty good too we usually go for a veg fried rice. You can choose you wine also from the counter with all bottles in display with prices tags, so no confusion here.
As per their desserts, they have a fruit counter as well, so you can go for a healthy desserts or they have patisseries and cakes and ice cream as well. The pastries you can select from their display too.
We have not had a bad experience ever here, the service is always perfect, any of your requirements will be met, food is always goood, desserts are not a must but still decent. You can grilled, fry, stir fry, deep fry, sauce no sauce, spicy not spicy, anything you feel like. Our all time classics are lemon butter sauce and thai curry, and spicy szechuan sauce. yum !

A great seafood restaurant for seafood lovers. A very unique idea of choosing fresh sea food from the seafood bar and choosing your own sauces and telling the staff how you want it to be cooked.
We were a group of 9 friends so we ordered a huge variety of different dishes from the menu and we could taste them all. For appetisers we ordered the sesame prawn on toast and the spring rolls.
For mains we ordered the grilled lobster which tasted amazing, fried calamari, prawn tempura, hammour fish fillet in thai chilli sauce and veg fried rice. We also ordered for spicy broccoli and baby corn which tasted great.

Mohamed, Khalid, Rashid, Abdullah, Al whatever all come here..my dad is an individual that has earned his stripes in the gourmet department, and he's always said, when looking for a good restaurant in a foreign country go where the locals go, I suppose, that doesn't really apply here because, unless you find yourself in a Mandi, or Al Mizhar, you can't really do that. But hey, they come here from Umm Suqeim for good reason.
It is the same concept as the old Fish Market, you go there, and choose your fish on platters of ice. Pass on the cooking instructions and it arrives at your table in a manner that has probably exceeded all expectation.
The Tiger Prawns in Garlic butter sauce, the calimari, the lobster, the sea bass, more or less deliver a near sexual experience. Easily the finest sea food restaurant that I've been to in the world.
The dessert menu is non-existant they simply bring over a tray of little cakes, but a (big) meal for 2 without dessert can cost about 800 so...

One of the maitre de (manager) we have known since he was in the same position at the fish market in the old Intercon (now SAS Radisson) Deira , brought the concept to dubai at the fish market (from Bangkok).
Being part of the startup of this restaurant when he moved, he makes it a point to remember and welcome all his old customers from over 30 years ago, by name. That plus his personal oversight keeps this perennial high end restaurant filled with mostly old familiar faces which are accustomed to very highest standard of fresh fish and quality cooking. The sauces & combinations have changed some over the years but the ingredients and end product retain their original high quality taste , flavor and distinctiveness. The same adherence to sustainability of standard over time that has not been matched by many other concept copy cat outlets it has nixed.
Service , always pushy , continues to be same - pushy. Guess the staff get fat bonuses as the outlet is definitely a big money spinner so getting you to get more than you can possibly consume. The only negative we always are unhappy with and inspite of all our experience continue to get "pushed" into. Being the favorite restaurant for all guests we would like to "impress" it seems unfair to be pushed and unable to tell your guests that you are not being "tight" but what you are being guided or helped to select is really going to be wasteful. Doesn't the staff know it.
One of those authentic sea food experiences. You go there and you instantly feel like a Pro-Seafoodie! they have all the fresh fish, crabs, lobsters, ships, shells, calamaris you name it! Then you pass by all that along with a helpful waiter; pick what you want and ask them to cook it the way you want. Then you choose the sequence of which you would like to food to come your way.
All in all, I would say:
1. Superb food quality.
2. Nice atmosphere with an outdoor area.
3. Good to excellent service, depending on your waiter.
4. Expensive I would say, you can get carried away and spend AED 250 for your own meal alone.
5. I guess they have a good wine selection.
Recommended defiantly, but as with most food especially seafood; go as a group.
First of all I must say this restaurant is fully occupied even on weekdays. The reason behind this is d awesome food they serve and also d friendly staffs. I would say d price is quite reasonable compared to d other seafood restaurants in town. The only drawback is d time they take to get d food ready. V hd to wait for a long time b4 v even got our starters. On d whole it was a good dining experience

For all the seafood lovers , I would like to introduce you to this 5-star restaurant. Amazing service and friendly staff with delicious food and fair prices. What a great combination! For appetisers , my family always order seasam prawn toast and spring rolls that are deeply fried. All the food they serve is yummy. You can also order food outside the menu. The halwayo fish is very very delicious. The fried calamari and tempura is the one everyone desires. Not only it serves seafood dishes , it somehow serves Chinese food. Grilled tiger prawns were the best in town. Spicy broccoli and baby corns are very very spicy and amazingly tasty. I admire this restaurant from the bottom of my heart. All the staff knows my family , since we are loyal customers. I highly recommend this restaurant for seafood lovers.
Sea food was good, specially the shrimps.. courteous staff, nicely laid out. All in all nothing great but good

One of the best seafood places I have eaten in, especially for the crabs. I loved this place.
The place is expensive when compared to other seafood restaurants, because it is located in a 5* hotel, but the price is so worth it.
I went for the crab and with it came french fries, grilled vegetables and a magical underwater experience.
The cran itself was a generous size, meaning when I was devouring it, it has a good amount of meat, not like those tiny crabs that were probably models in their early days.
On Tuesday, they usually have those seafood buffets and were one of the best times during the week.
I should go back to experience it again :)
Had heard about this restaurant for ages. Finally went: wow!!!!! Amazinggggg food and service. I thought seafood is seafood is seafood: but noooooo: THIS is seafood! Definitely a bit on the pricey side but an amazing meal. Highly recommend. Especially for special occassions

Food is super fresh with awesome choice of sea food which can be tailor made to your taste . Service level is extremely high with 3 people dedicated to your table
We landed once more at the fish market at the le Meridien next to the airport with a guest who had just arrived, to impress him with some unbeatable seafood !
This time it took about ten minutes to reach our choice of seats right next to the fishnets or the serious business we had at hand.
Off we went left to get the emperor, some squid, tiger prawns and an Omani lobster, fried, deep fried, stir fried and grilled with lemon butter respectively.
We also had the XO fried seafood rice and some chilled drinks to keep up the lunchtime spirits up!
It was sheer joy watching our guest enjoying everything and thanking us or getting him over the jet lag, which actually had vanished the moment we turned left when we arrived!
Always a pleasure at an average dole out of 500/- per head.

تجربة جيدة الاكل جيد لكن المنيو كله بالانجليزي والعمالة لا تتكلم اللغة العربية لو وجد حتى شخص واحد للترجمة والشرح
هادا مطعمي المفضل في دبي من زمان. الذ أكلات بحرية والخدمة ممتازة. مكان راقي وينفع للعوائل ولما الجو يتحسن في جلسات خارجية وشيشة.
انصح بزيارته فهو من المطاعم الغير روتينية خاصة بما يخص المأكولات البحرية وطريقة التقديم ملاحظتي الوحيدة فقط البطء في تقديم الطعام
