One of the best places around airport and in general around Garhoud area.
They are very well known for their special Mutton biryani.
Item's ordered:
1.) Curd rice: The rice was well blended with the curd and it was easy to swallow.
2.) Zeera rice: The rice was a bit oily and tasted alright.
First time visited the restaurant.. the food was amazing and its good quality and good quantity..
the staff is polite and helpful..i love the dessert (gulabjamum)
First time visit with friends and really fantastic food with nice ambiance, friendly staff, recommended for foodies. Available plenty of parking in front of the hotel.
It's one of the best biryani in Dubai, my friend was brought me here and he recommend me the biryani and it was super. I finished my biryani with mint tea, it's nice. They have good service and it's open for 24 hours. I recommend this biryani place when you're getting your lunch or dinner, its tasty and super delicious.
Affordable price, you will get plate full of thali everyday. North+South variety mixed thali is very delicious. Since it is located near my office so I get to visit this place at least once a week.
I am regular customer of Ashrafi since 9 years now.. Their Mutton Barra is having no alternative in U.A.E. A Must try dish ...always fresh foof served
Ordered biryani from here and it was great. I'm only giving 4 starts, because it had no salt ,but the taste was amazing. I'm sure the next time it would be perfect . You can try the kababs too. Yumm
Just tried mutton nihari.. omg it was awesome in taste. As per me, this is one of the best north Indian mutton nihari in Dubai. This made my day.. highly recommended :)
Since I am perpetually singing songs in its praise, friends invariably ask me, if they don’t already know, where Ashrafi Restaurant is located. I tell my friends to ask me where Dubai airport is located instead. And when they do, I tell them that Dubai airport is located near Ashrafi Restaurant. That is how much I love Ashrafi.
If you are a diehard prawn biryani lover and haven’t tried the Special Prawn Biryani at Ashrafi, you can only be pitied for your lack of direction in life. Grow up, buddy! Venture forth into a paradise of delightful delicacies. Delve into the mysteries of deliciousness beyond compare. The prawn biryani that Ashrafi serves up is, to me, the emperor of all things edible.
You better order it only if you are with a friend and if both of you haven’t seen food in the last three days. The serving is huge! The serving dish does not look anywhere as threatening as when one of the well-mannered gentlemen there in their neat uniform serves the biryani out onto your plate. h
I have always looked out for and homed in on with unerring precision into every cabbie joint in every city I have had the good fortune to infest. Ashrafi is one such, if Dubai is where you are at the moment of culinary indecision. If you are picky and pert and proper and genteel and fussy about the environs, Ashrafi has a fine dining section too, next door to the cabbie section.
I prefer the cabbie section over having to hobnob with huge egos and vain talk. The banter in the cabbie section is more earthy, lively and full of unbridled guffaws. The sophisticated silence of the fine dining section suffocates my free ribald spirit, and besides, I usually saunter in to any food place, dressed to kill food, not hearts or egos.
Stop distracting me with talk of manners and mannerisms. Let us get back to the prawn biryani and the brawn of each prawn nestled in all that saffron-suffused basmati rice. They are huge. They might easily be the sumo wrestlers among prawns. And they taste as grand as they look. Succulent, cooked just right and dripping deliciousness to the core!
The masala is perfect, pardon my lingo. The spice is just right. And it is served with raitha made with love. The Karims of Delhi who manage Ashrafi have my vote as being true altruists who do humanity more than their fair share of generosity and kindness in sharing the taste of this signature dish with such rich tradition and goodness in every morsel.
You can ask for paapad and if your appetite is about as huge as greedy old mine, ask for their chicken tikka (I prefer the boneless variant) or the shaami kabaabs or Ashrafi’s celebrated sheekh kabaabs. I love it all best with the Coke that they have in the colonial-style bottles with the crimped vacuum cap that needs an opener to let flow its magic.
When a week of having their prawn biryani - which can be enjoyed with a spoon and fork or a knife, that allow you the freedom to use your phone if emergencies need your attention - has satiated at least a tiny percentage of my insatiable palate, I tuck into their Daal Tadka and Roti.
Buddy! You will bless the day you first broke Roti when you try this traditional combination perfected by the magical masters who are often buried by their own culinary brilliance under tons or dine-in, delivery and take-away orders.
In austere times, when one might have to eschew more fanciful gastronomic delights in favour of humbler victuals, the simple daal-rice combination that you can enjoy here will remind you of happy childhood days when you cared less for the epicure or the epicurean in you and more for your friends waiting to play cricket in the gulley. Once in a while, it is nice to remind yourself of those wonderful days.
Get a life. Dive into Ashrafi with your tongue lolling down to your belly button. Both will thank you for your good taste. As will your heart, mind and spirit. Bon Prawnatit! Or Bon Kabaabatit! Or Bon Daal Tadkaatit! Whichever it may be, it is always Bon Ashrafiiiiiitttt!!!!!
Bon Stay-at-it, if you would like to stay fit and fine after your fill. The ingredients they use and their culinary ethics leave no chance or room for food safety doubts. I’ve been tucking into more than all the delights I have mentioned above, since 1998; and with respect to the delicacies that they serve at Ashrafi, the only physiological complaint that I ever had - or ever will - is that I have only one tummy!
To add inspiration to indulgence, Ashrafi welcomes those of good taste, right round the clock. I usually sail into Ashrafi at about three in the wee hours, after having worked late into the night, or after a debauched evening of revelries on town, with equally debauched friends, to restore whatever tissues were sacrificed on the altar of debauchery!
I love my food delectably delicious. You, too? Tell me about it on 00971-50-653-8035, email jimmy.arujo@gmail.com, or check out www.RedPointAds.com right now! 😊🍦
Excellent food, quite underrated... Must try their nihari, burra kebab, chicken boti kebab and bheja. Getting there could be a problem but always worth it!
With my friend went the location for re- visit in Karachi Darbar and we decided to taste in Asharafi Restaurant. There was 2 dining (1 for deluxe and another normal – food all same) we sit in normal and ordered below:-
Special Mutton Biriyani - Good enough Quantity for 2 people and taste was very good!
Mutton Nihari - Taste OK
Service - Normal service as we use normal Dining
Price - Value for money
Cleaning - Need to be improve (Especially wash area)
I'm not sure if they recently changed the menu/prices but during my last visit 2-3 months back this place had extremely affordable prices, and the quantity of food you get at the price was unbelievable without compromising on quality. Mutton kadai, chicken do pyaza, the biryani rice etc are all good. This is a great place close to my home but parking can be a little bit tricky. I was little surprised when i saw a menu change on zomato. Hope they haven't increased prices though :/
I just love this place. one of the best places in Dubai for North Indian and Mughlai food.Everything about this place is just perfect. The food, the warm and friendly staff, the quick service, Late night orders, everything just everything!
Have tasted their.
Double egg omelet - 5/5
Omelet paratha/ Sandwich - 5/5
Chicken Biryani - 5/5
Chicken tikka Briyani - 10/5
Chai - 5/5
This place is a hidden gem of dubai. extremely reasonable and economical and fatastic in taste and service.
Another hidden gem in Dubai if your looking to satisfy your north Indian mughlai hunger pangs. Quick, cheap and phenomenal food are it's characteristic features.
They prepare a really great dum biryani on most days except Fridays. The nihari is divine and for the vegetarians out there the bhindi fry, plain palak and dal fry are so simple yet lip smacking..
If you've heard about the legendary kareems in old Delhi, this is their branch in Dubai. Must go for serious foodies!!
I have never scraped the bottom of a dish in a restaurant. Chicken aloo at this restaurant made me do it. It was amazing and had a little extra spice. Good ambience although parking can be difficult to get. Best to park near Dubai tourism and then cross over.
In my opinion one of the best place to get North Indian/ Mughlai food in town. love the service. Mutton Nihari, dum biryani and chicken do pyaza are few of my favourite dishes and i highly recommend that. i am already a regular to this place
Holy forking shirt this place is a forking jewel that I’d forking drive all the way from Sharjah just to get a bite, their Prawns Biryani is forking amazing
This is a hidden gem. For people who like a bit of spice and Masala in their food. Excellent price. One of my Fav fav fav joints for special VEG briyani and papad. Must try is paneer Masala or palak alu and have a chilled lassi with your meal. They deliver and I frequently order at work.
My dad and I were a little apprehensive on visiting the very mediocre looking ambience of Ashrafi restaurant near the airport. It said "managed by KARIMS" on the board , which is a famous restaurant in Delhi , India.
ORDER: We ordered pasinde baadam korma and nargisi kofte along with butter naan as the bread.
VERDICT: The food was surprisingly mature in presentation and reminiscent of the under propagated grace which is typical of eateries such as KARIMS.
The pasinde which are thin slices of red meat had a soft and melting feeling when they entered ones mouth and the gravy was just right , not too spicy but rich and full of flavour. The nargisi kofta was a solitary boiled egg covered with an ample layer of minced meat plastered but easily separable with a rich gravy. The butter naan was hot and had a great mouth feel considering this being a common dish ordered.
PITFALLS : Overall my only complains would be that Ashrafi downplays what it has. The ambience isn't exactly what I thought and a lot of eager foodies may be discouraged. However we were not at the family section so it's possible this be the reason. The parking is another issue as the approach is difficult and you would be lucky to get a spot. Also there was a little too much oil for my taste I had to dab away with tissues.
CONCLUSION: if you want a good meal but don't want your pocket being emptied, it doesn't get better than this. If they'r presentation was a little fancier , I wouldn't have flinched even once if the bill were 20-40 dhs more.
Last nite at 3:30am i m searching for the place where i can eat ,i got to know this restaurant open 24 hrs .,i tried there biryani peshawri chicken which good , service was good..
Finally my taste buds enjoyed the authentic QORMA - typical dehli/ Karachi style. I was completely indulged into QORMA and every bite kept me busy with those tender pieces of meat combined with hot crips tandoori roti. Though I felt that addition of Badam will really take to another level but it was still outstanding.
Hubby enjoyed Bheja fry (as usual 😜) Munim Thanvi
Good service and kheer was great 👍
You should try out their schezwan fried rice 16 dhs. Soo tasty! Yummy.
Ordered at work , Nice small cubes of chicken , spring onions , lots of flavor and not much spicy and you feel to keep eating!
Loved it!
I used to order thier Briyani( Chicken 😙😙😙) and (Shrimps). It's good taste, ofcourse I can't expect Similar as homemade taste but it's alright. I got many colleagues who orders different variety of dishes overthere. They do delivered to where I work so it's convenient. Yes ofcourse i would recommend this place. I had always had my food take away so I can't command in dining experience. Cheers😊
If you're looking for a good serving of mutton biryani or semi dry chicken curry to hit up with some paratha or naan then head down to the humble Ashrafis... from the delicious breakfast kheema paratha and irresistible tea that they serve to the best Mutton biryani. MUTTON SPECIAL BIRYANI for just 22 bucks could feed 2 till they're stuffed . Comes with papads and an amazing raita if u dining inn . Whole of terminal 1 and 2 live off this place and not once have they disappointed !!!
Great place to eat there . Whenever you want to eat pakistani or Indian food . Do this restaurant give a chance. Good taste and quantity but raita and salad quality so pathetic. Moreover this restaurant works for 24 hours . Which is also a good thing for late night food seekers.
If you are looking for healthy food, this is not the right place! The food is generally quite oily and greasy, but the food tastes authentic. On request, they can make the food more spicy too. Getting parking at the restaurant can be a challenge and ambiance isn't all that great either.
Take away or delivery options suggested.
pocket friendly with good north Indian taste with very quick delivery
love the taste i think best north Indian hotel in garhoud area rumali roti is very soft and burrah kabab
One of the Best shrimps biryani , same applies for the chicken biryani, excellent service and good value for money. Old is gold applies here
Every restaurant has some especiality and the especiality of ashrafi is there qorma I have been there several time with my friends and tried the delecious qorma the restaurant is open 24 hrs the staff and service is also very good
Probably the best burrah kebabs in town. The place is meant for those who understands this cuisine.
I probably had the finest burrah kebabs here and when you go their during Ramadan they offer you with complimentary salad, pakodas and olives.
I am yet to try their curries but my friends are regulars to this place.
The staff here is very courteous as well and it definitely offers you a good value for money.
I don't understand why do people expect 5 star service from an economy restaurant.
This is a restaurant which serves the economy class and they do it well.
I always order their bhurjis - egg or paneer.
Last time I tried their mutton korma which was amazing.
Food master note : end your meal with their chai!

Late lunch cravings took us to Ashrafi restaurant at a friend’s suggestion. Unfortunately at 4pm they shut one part and reopen again at 7pm. However we were able to be seated in another section and were given the option of having a curtain (makeshift wooden divide) out for us since we were two women in the group.
Ashrafi delivers a decent Indian culinary experience in Garhoud area near to the airport. This place is managed by karim's of Delhi which intrigued us to try this place. On one side they have their buffet spread and on the other side is the seating area. They have decent decor with bamboo partitions in between the tables for privacy.
The place was relatively empty with just 2-3 tables occupied during lunch hours. We were served complimentary papad along with chutney. We ordered for veg biryani along with paneer tikka masala and tandoori roti. Though paneer was a bit oily but the spices was bang on and tasted good. The biryani was flavorful, well spiced with generous portion and was pretty decent in taste.
Overall a relatively simplistic decor with neat and clean interiors and a pocket friendly restaurant and can certainly be tried once in a while.
The authentic place for true foodies n taste lovers.
The branch of karims (Delhi) in Dubai gives satisfaction to north indian n Mughlai food enthusiasts.
Nihari is unique...smooth,well blended and great in texture..a must try item.
Mutton barra is typically an exception and not to miss item.
The place caters for every one.
Great taste and variety...must to visit place
Asharfi Restaurant, have always heard about them, their delicious kormas and yummy biryanis. Got a chance today to give a try after a hectic hungry day & it was a good decision. As the place is always full and also super busy staff with atleast 10 mins wait just to place your order still i will rate them 3.5 bcz of their yummy food. #ChickenKorma & #SpecialBiryani are their must try. If you guys are in Deira somewhat near to Airport a recommended restaurant for sure in Garhoud. Their Executive lunch buffet actually gives more varieties to try & satisfy my gastronomical needs.. 😛😛
Visited this place for dinner after seeing some reviews on Zomato and I wasn't disappointed it's a very reasonable place and has very good food too, ordered the chicken tikka boneless and the Biryani along with Roti. Will definitely be going back to try some other stuff on the menu
Ashrafi has been my saviour in times of hunger, thanks to their 24 hour delivery. In between post Ramadan they had shut down for renovation but soon they were back with a bang. I have order so many times that the guys over the phone and the delivery guys know me very well. This is my last day in Garhoud as I now move to another accommodation so I said before I leave lemme leave you guys a small tip.
The one constant at Ashrafi that can never go wrong is their Chicken Shezwan fried rice and their Biryani. These 2 dishes have been there for me in times of absolute hunger and the taste is great. Other mughlai dishes like their Chicken Chatpata and chicken Tikka masala are great too. Try the Chatpata you will enjoy it with Romali roti and trust me it is fresh romalis.
I will certainly miss these guys and their supreme speed on the bicycle. Cheers and thanks.
After a night out on the town a friend and I decided to get a bite at Ahrafi's.
And I have to say that we were not disappointed.
Though it was late night, the food was freshly made.
I ordered their boneless chicken tikka and my friend their chicken tikka briyani.
Juicy pieces and well spiced. It definitely hit the spot.
Their briyani portions are easily good enough for two people, so make sure you bring your appetite.
I've been here for lunch quite a few times and inspite of being right next to Karachi Darbar, they are way better in terms of food quality. It's a regular pocket friendly mughlai cuisine, but I would definitely classify this as above average. I love their Nihari, bhuna gosht and chicken kadhai. A tip for people who would go there, they have 2 sections in the restaurant, the regular area and a special family type of area, the portions of the same food you order in the family section are double than the regular. Overall this joint is brilliant and a pure bang for the buck. The only problem is that parking is a real pain during weekdays.
This place is claimed to be maintained by Delhi Karims. Ordered few times for office lunch: Kabab combo meals (rice/roti/dal/chicken and mutton kababs etc as a set), biriyani(chicken and mutton). Taste is really good most of the time, but inconsistent , as my last order consisting fish biriyani and mutton biriyani, both were not up to the mark. Hope they maintain the taste and quality every-time.

Today (June 6, 2015) we had a party for 32 pax, all of us were fully satisfied. Some time excellent Mogulai dishes, good service, affordable price and good Indian CHAI. Thank you Ashrafi. We will soon revisit the restaurant.

Nice authentic muglai food from delhi Kareem's kitchen. Need to improve in cleanness . Specially wash rooms and wash basin areas . To much foul smell
very nice ambiance
good food, excellent taste,
pricing quite correct,
not crowded, that's the best thing.
dinner Buffet seems little bit overpriced, but ok.
must try badami pasanda.bhuna gosht. :-)
My usual place for breakfast as I work at airport and they do the delivery quickly.
Breakfast I usually take aloo paratha or any southie dish or burger...depending upon the mood..but 1 drawback is their paratha sandwiches are wrapped wz paper when it is hot itself so the paper gets stuck on to delicious sandwiches...
Afternoon dishes I prefer noodles/fried rice...both are good choices...tried out their curries of which butter chicken is the best...
Have not yet been able to try their kebabs or tikkas...guess it won't let us down...
Do give a try guys!!
This is not what we can call a hidden gem, because it is quite big, nearby GGICO Metro Station, but definitely a gem! J'aime ! I like.
We went there for lunch and had the buffet - twice in three days! We wanted to know if the buffet was updated and it is. We wanted to know in case they update the buffet, if the quality will be the same and it is.
They have such a variety of Indian specialties such as aloo ka bharta, dal makhani, kundan mutton kofta, fish masala, roti and chapati... And this was just for today. Two days ago it was curry pakora, keema masala, mutton biryani and rajma masala. I don't remember the name of the desserts, but today it was AWESOME also.
I haven't tried anything else than the buffet so far, but at AED22, this is the best deal ever. You get to try a lot of different dishes that all taste like good calories on a cloud in heaven.
I wish I could eat this everyday without ending up shaped like a kofta. Life is a beach.

Good food
Butter chicken is amazing
And egg burji is worth a try wid hot parata
Don't forget about their Masala chai also good....
But needs improvement in their cleanliness
Haven't been there for dining since the restaurant doesn't give an impression of a good family seatinh area so we decided to take way the order. Very huge menu....it was difficult to decide what to order and what not to, so we ended up with ordering a special mutton biryani.. will definitely count it among the best biryanis with huge servings in a very reasonable price. We also ordered mutton nihari (which i wouldn't recommend because I believe nihari should be prepared using beef coz it really didn't taste like a nihari) and one tandoori murghi which seems like more of chicken tikka....i have had better tikka or tandoori than this. Overall i would say that portions were good with reasonable price and their biryani was the best.
Ordered Mutton Boneless Biryani for Home Delivery. It did take quite a while for them to deliver to my house which is fairly close by in Garhoud itself. It was told that since it was afternoon lunch time, the restaurant is busy & deliveries take time.
The food quality & taste was good. Supposedly a pakistani joint but the biryani did not have too much oil. The quantity was good compared to the price.
This restaurant mostly caters to the office areas in cargo village. So for families its best to order home delivery.
Excellent... I loved Nahari and grills were gud too....
Ashrafi has some really good Mughlai Dishes and that too at very reasonable prices. The veggie dishes are very tasty, specially the Vegetable Jalfrezi, the mushroom masala, to name a few! I have never dined in there. Our office is opposite to the restaurant and hence, we have ordered from there quite a few times. Prompt delivery and amazing food. The starters, gravies - Very Tasty and very pocket friendly. Try - Badam Pasanda, Chicken Tikka, Vegetable Jalfrezi.
After my friend recommended it, Suddenly became my favorite restaurant for proper Mumbai styled Chinese and indian dishes that too with low prices. Try the Chicken Fried Rice, Chicken Chilly Gravy and Badami Pasanda, Amazing !!
