'Good food at an affordable price'
We visited Venus deluxe restaurant for dinner as a couple. They serve Indian and Chinese vegetarian food, including chaat (Indian street food) in the evenings. There is lots of seating at the restaurant, with a family room too.
Here is a review of what we tasted:
1. Hot and sour soup: It was tasty and satisfying. (I particularly liked that there were no bits of green chilli getting into my mouth, as I have experienced at some restaurants!)
2. Gobi manchurian (dry): This is a hit at Venus! You will definitely ask for more.
3. Malai kofta: This was a delicious one. It can be shared by two persons.
4. Subz biryani: A wholesome and filling biryani - it doesn't feel like it's vegetarian! it includes bits of paneer too.
On other occasions I also tasted their thali, idli-vada sambhar dip and their dosas (masala, mysore sada and mysore masala) and they were very tasty! The accompanying chutneys are tasty too.
The food is tasty and affordable - the quantity served is very good!
I wish they would also serve juices - they have it on their menu, but they have discontinued it. They do serve canned drinks though.
The staff is friendly and the ambience is quite good. There is free car parking outside the restaurant.

“Food is love, love is food, it’s all good.”
Venus is one of the most economical restaurant in ras al khaimah. A place where you can eat tasty indian food without burning a hole in your pocket. We visit this place on a regular basis for both lunch and dinner.
Their south indian items such as the mysore sada dosa, onion tomato uthappam and idli vada dip are very tasty. We also recommend their gobi manchurian dry, hot and sour soup and manchow soup if you are in a mood to have chinese.
We have also tried their malai kofta, paneer tikka masala, vegetable kofta, sabzi biryani and triple schezwan fried rice. All these dishes were tasty but could have been better.
What we really love about this place is that it’s low priced, good service and the quantity served is really good. But what we don’t like is that the taste of some of the dishes isn’t consistent. Overall it’s a good restaurant and a must visit if you are craving for some south indian food in ras al khaimah.

During my market visit to Ras Al Khaimah, I came across this pure vegetarian restaurant. I had a Chapathi thali and it was yummy from the word go. Homely taste and very little oil used for cooking are the forte of this restaurant. The rotis tasted a whole lot wheatish and fresh, the pulse stir fry was just bliss. A must try at Ras Al Khaimah.
Delicious Tasty vegetarian food with reasonable price. The delivery took longer then expected due to road diversions and traffic however it was fresh and hot. 4 star for the taste.
Yummy dishes ...
Tried vegatable kofta and CF 65 which was delectable
Strongly recommend this restaurant for evenin dine outs
One of the best Veg dining home in the area
Been here on one of the weekends. Nice decent restaurant with good ambience and very good south indian food. Service is very good, servers very polite. I enjoyed whatever i ordered for.
One and only good restaurant in RAK...that can satisfy your Indian food craving. Neat and clean place ...pocket friendly...ample of parking. More so known for south Indian food. Would recommend everyone to give it a try...
Love this place for their dosa… as a matter of fact their chaat is worth mentioning as it's pretty good. Service is normal and the place is usually busy in the evenings. They have a party hall and a separate family area to eat too. In all, this is my go to place to satisfy my dosa cravings.
