This restaurant has been around for more than 15 years. I visited them again and the food quality and taste remain the same. So glad to have visited Taj Mahal, famous for their biryanis<br/> We had prawns and mutton biryani and loved both. <br/>Keep it up. It was very clean and well maintained for an old place.

I ordered butter chicken, fish and chips with garlic naan. Naan was good. Butter chicken was too sweet. I didn't like the fish at all, as it was over fried, too smelly n tasteless.

3rd time to the outlet but forgot to update my review. Tried their chicken manchow & hot/sour soups, American choupsey, fried rice mixed, chicken Twouk, chilly fish !!<br/>Chilly fish and manchow was nice 4/5<br/>Mixed rice was average - 3/5<br/>American Chouspey- 3.5<br/>Chicken Biriyani- 1/5 <br/><br/>Chicken biriyani is not a biriyani dish !! It can be called rice and chicken masala

'Food that is affordable should be tasty too'<br/><br/>We visited Taj Mahal restaurant for dinner on a weekend. They serve a variety of cuisines, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian. The seating is too cluttered.<br/><br/>Here is a review of what we tasted:<br/><br/>1. Paneer makhani: It was too sweet and the paneer was over-fried and hard. <br/><br/>2. Naan: It was tasty and went well with the paneer. <br/><br/>3. Prawn biryani: The biryani masala was tasty but the was too less rice in it. Also, the prawns were a mix of cooked and uncooked ones :( <br/><br/> <br/><br/>Although affordable, they should improve the taste of the food. The staff is friendly but the ambience needs to be worked on. Been here few times, chicken biryani with special mayonnaise was the best i have had. Cool staff and Mr kishan management is awesome. You can also order mutton biryani and butter chicken <br/>

Used to go to this restaurant during my visits to the vicinity. Went after a longtime this time. Taste of the food still the same. Liked all what i ordered.

Horrible biryani too much coconut taste...dread to go back again.<br/>Ambience is also very sad ... only thing i found in favour is a good location

Its is a total scam and the food is terrible, NOT FRESH! Stay away!<br/><br/>This could be just my one experience, but....waiters seem careless. We had to find one to take our order. He was interrupted by another waiter while we were ordering and didn’t care. He was a bit unfamiliar with the products.<br/><br/>

One of the oldest resaurants in town, I used to be a very regular visitor of this restaurant.. recently I visited them and they maintain the same taste as before.<br/><br/>I really like their Chiken Biriyani, kadai chicken, fish n chips and chicken tikka..<br/><br/>Very reasonably priced and they serve good quality food

most of the food are not fresh but he knows how to cook it.. he has some good flavors... mostly i order Shizwan fried rice, Chinese fried rice and  fried shrimp chilli.. he has a lot of menu items (which is never good sign) so i cannot judge all of it... in general good neighborhood restaurant

This was the worst chana masala i ate...it was smelly it was burnt it was atleast a day old..it just spoiled our mood ...a worst restaurant in ras al khaima

Taj Mahal hotel i order 1 mutton cuday resption attend I order 1 mutton cuday he told I will tra@to manager he told for 1 mutton cuday we will not deliver in nakheel ( Rak) near gulf cinema or safeer market in nakheel I told him I will comment online as per your reply manger told me no problem complain any where. I ask like this any restaurant ma@ speak to customer and he told he will charge extra for delivery<br/>

Good food... With a south touch... Their rates are really reasonable. Dunno hw much u cn try in menue ... Chicken lollypop was good and soo was fried rice. Garlic naan was really yummy...My hubby ordered some gravy which wasnt great. Ambience to is okish

One of the oldest Indian restaurants in RAK<br/>I used to visit this place with my family when i was a kid almost on weekly basis<br/>We are all very big fans of Indian food<br/>And i insist that its the best cuisine in the world<br/>On top of all that, they maintained the food quality and affordable prices for all this years<br/>And thats why I'm still their maybe oldest loyal customer

Ordered chicken Biriyani ... heard Taj Mahal Biriyani is the best in RAK .. but very disappointing. Wasted my money and time. Hoteliers why do are u into food industry when you cannot satisfy the public

The food was fresh, properly prepared and a great value for the price. We highly recommend it. And the price is very cheap.The room was so comfortable, the food at Echo absolutely spectacular..

I should not say much as i already gave the rating as 1 . This restaurant is not the place for vegetarian. I doubt all the food smells.  The place is cluttered and not clean also.<br/>The panner was very hard and difficult to eat.<br/><br/>Food was served cold including the roti served to me .<br/><br/>I would not recommend anyone to visit the place

I have been going to this place since childhood.I will say it still maintains the quality.<br/>The best dish that you will find here is fish and chips,which will not be found anywhere else.<br/>If you people will pay a visit here then definitely give it a try.<br/>The soup is also really good.<br/>I would say other dishes are average or above it.

not a place for party, as its not that spacious..chicken mughulai was not up to the mark as it was lil salty for me,  parotta was soft inside with that crunchiness out, enjoyed the chicken butter masala as it was thick  gravy suited well with the parotta, coustomer service was also nice as we were a group of people enjoying a get together

This restaurant is strange. I often go there. The food taste different at different times. The flavor is not constant. During the day time the food tends to be excellent but sometimes the taste fluctuates really bad. This is one of the most economical restaurant here, however you may not appreciate the hygiene.

A great, cheap place to fill yourself up with some good food without making a dent in your pocket. Their rice dishes are spicy and pack a lot of flavour. Their soups pack a lot of grit. They do need to cut down on the amount of oil they use and you'll have nothing to worry about.

Chilli beef fry and kerala paratha. ..was amazing..might try something else after I get bored...seriously amazing food...suggest take away though..the food is tasty, cheap and they have a good variety.

The BESTEST food totally worth their prices...all their dishes ranging from soups to noodles to paratha n gravy dishes to biriyani to grilled items are simply amazing n filling...but of all the dishes the one standout dish that I cannot avoid mentioning is their "Chicken/mixed fried rice"...If i am having friedrice from any other restaurant, I always compare the taste to the one from Taj Mahal n sure enough I haven't found any that overcomes this restaurant's...the same goes for its chilli chicken dry and chicken manchurian gravy...their parathas n biriyani were quite a relish in the olden times, bt nt as much these days...still better thn other places...Also yrs back we used to have this creamy fish curry lunch combo with plain white rice, its simple yet un-describably-mouth watering experience, i hope they still have it...seating spaces are jst average...bt the food is so yummm the place is packed almost every day with both arabs n indians

Childhood favourite! Their chilly chicken & chilly paneer is a total rollercoster for the palate, but believably the best malayali chinese ive ever eaten! Love their food! Love their malayali parathas!

Good restaurant and price is with in budget...fadt service. ...best is biryani....for veggie person there r few options only..but still with this price the taste is good. Even they making the food in large quantity for outside orders.
