We visited Shakespeare and Co. on our visit to Al Hamra Mall and this is the first time I tried in this restaurant chain. The restaurant was well decorated and nicely lit. We Ordered Rainbow Vegan Pad Thai and Spinach Lasagna. As soon as the order was taken, we were served with few pieces of hot breads with pesto sauce. The culinary they use are very attractive and the breads were very fresh.
Spinach Lasagna: Well cooked with enough amount of spinach.
Rainbow Vegan Pad Thai: This was ultimate and we liked very much. It tasted exactly like Pad Thai and the vegan protein chunks they added in it tasted like meat giving vegans the same taste. Recommended.

we've been there 2 years ago for a breakfast in commemoration to our wedding anniversary. Aviation staff misfortune (awful shifts). The attention was great, the variety and food awesome and the atmosphere excellent. Costly but it worth every penny.
We went to Shakespeare for a dinner with family. We ordered one mixed grill and a penne bolognese. I requested some customizations and staff was great to respond to all. Mixed grill included a half portion steak, 2 lamb chops, half portion chicken and a chicken sausage. All was fresh and delicious. Only drawback was that bolognese sauce was too salty. The ambiance in the mall is not great burly still one of the good options over there.
4.5 stars! The seafood chowder was absolutely delicious! I recommend that everyone should try it! We also love the Bresaola and Burrata pizza, it was perfectly thin. the bresaola and burrata were 👌🏼. Their Fettucine Carbonara is also a must try, perfectly creamy but we kinda don’t like the cashews on top because it tastes different. I didn’t give 5stars because I hate their peach Iced tea. I’m very particular with my Iced tea and their Iced tea was too sweet and the waiter said it’s brewed but it wasn’t.
"Good food and Excellent Service"
This restaurant is ideal for business lunch, if the weather permit you can sit outside and enjoy the good quality food backed up by excellent service. Wish they have more options for vegetarians. Keep up the good work..
Perfect location if you are looking for a casual setting and inexpensive, good quality meal. The restaurant is located on the ground floor of Al Hamra Mall and had a steady flow of customers at lunch and dinner time. The interior is very pretty with pale pink and light coloured walls and an abundance of picture frames hung on the walls. I have been on several occasions and always found the food and service to be good. There is also free Wi-Fi available. We ordered a lasagne and the Fisherman's catch, exchanging the rice for fries. Both meals were of a good size and good value.
Having recently eaten here I should say the food was not what we expected. We usually end up here when we want cakes, croissants and anything sweet. But this time we thought why not sample something different and ordered in a seafood soup and baby chicken for lunch. The food was excellent and cooked to perfection. Staff were humble, attentive and courteous. Loved every bit here. And oh yes forgot to mention there is Sheesha lounge attached!
I was on a visit to Hamra mall and I felt like having a good soup and salad so I walked into Shakespeare. Amazing experience, Christy my server was delightful, the tomato soup is so rich and has the rich spices, and the salmon salad was so good with great tasting dressing. Portion of Salad was big, I asked for avocado in the salad and they did not charge me extra. That was a memorable experience.
My favorite breakfast restaurant in RAK.. Very quiet and relaxing place at morning.. i had lunch and dinner few times and it was acceptable.. i think their waiters need more training
Cobb salad and nicoise salads are filling and flavorful. Perfect meal if you're watching weight. My brother ordered the baby chicken - the sauce in particular and the dish overall was really good. Staff are helpful.
Love this place
Love the quality of food and the generous portions
It worth every dirham spent in this place
Must try the Cesar salad, the special burgers, and the lamp shank
Shakespeare - whenever we crave for sheesha and coffee @ this is the place
I love the ambiance and the staff - everyone is so welcoming !! Especially the sheesha guy
Tried pizza, chicken BBQ wings with samosa , coffee , it's really nice
I love the herb butter and bread basket before starting the meal
Nice one !!
This is one of my favourite joints to relax. Though I have been to most of their outlets in Dubai, this particular one in Al Hamra RAK is outstanding in terms of their hospitable service. Lovely staff! I absolutely love the whole Victorian style ambience of this restaurant.
My top picks from the food menu - Onion soup, French Toast, Piri Piri Prawns and the Mediterranean Salad.
Top picks from drinks - Turkish Coffee, Moroccan Tea and oh so yummy Mango Lassi!!
Top picks from Dessert Menu - Almost everything!!
Good job you guys and Thank you!
This place is super cool to hangout with family. Good service. Good attitude from the staff. Very nice ambience. And above all, the sunday offer is too hot.
My first visit to the Hamra Mall branch of Shakespeare & Co. and I wasn't disappointed at all.
As always the unique decor makes this place stand out from the crowd.... It was relatively quiet for a public holiday but I guess most people were sleeping in after the New year's eve festivities.
We ordered the poached salmon salad, fish & chips & the egg shakshouka. The fish & chips were ok and pretty Overpriced in my opinion but all the other dishes were pretty good. I also had the very Berry smoothie which I found to be really good and not overly sugary like you find in most other places. For dessert we had the lemon tart which looks stunning and had a strong lemony tang without being overly sweet. Liked it a lot.
Service was average as the waiting staff did not come back to our table on and off during the course of our meal to check on us but I'm willing to give them a pass today as they were probably short staffed. Prices on certain items are little exorbitant but again you are paying for the whole package so it just about balances out..... Just!!!!
Overall I enjoyed the meal and will probably make it a point to visit their Naeem Mall branch more regularly for coffee & cake since it's much much closer to where I live.
The Shakespeare & Co we tried was located in Al Hamra Mall RAK, we were hungryyy and waiting to have a full scrumptious breakfast. Although located inside the mall ..the moment you enter the Cafe you feel you are instantly transported to the Victorian era ..with lavender colored drapes, laces, and chandeliers . I absolutely loved the feel of the place . 🙂
Its a nice experience with new kind of salad , steamed salmon with herbs , with pot of tea , place nice and busy over the weekends ,
Lovely place to chill with friends and family! Unique interiors, amazing food and cheerful staff. We went there for breakfast and very happy with what we were served :)
To dine or not to dine, if that is the questing, go straight in. SC is gourmet served in style. Unique decor marks it out from all of the others in the mall. A great place to hang out for coffee and cakes which are done with supreme expertise. Carrot cake my favorite. Bakery products a cut above anything else you get in the mall - sandwiches, delicious. Time well spent. But then what's what you expect of a restaurant that evokes the greatest name from England.
Spent the weekend at Cove Rotana RAK and decided to have dinner with my husband at Shakespeare in Hamra mall. Since RAK only has decent restaurants in malls, we were forced to choose this mall which was close to our hotel.
We ordered a Tomato Soup for starter and the fettuccine alfredo as well as penne arabiatta pink sauce for mains.
For dessert we took the chocolate eclair.
We absolutely loved the piping hot soup that the staff kindle split for us into 2 bowls. It was fresh and had a hint of ginger and cream.
The plating of the pasta dishes were spectacular and very aesthetically pleasing. The pasta was equally delicious. The portions were quite large as well.
The chocolate eclair was delicious - the choux pastry was crispy yet soft and the chocolate cream inside was not overly sweet either.
My only negative feedback would be the fact that shakespeare do not allow customers to use entertainer vouchers for any of their pastas or sandwiches. Only for their big main dishes which are all non vegetarian. To make an exception for vegetarians they have allowed 2 pastas from the menu to be part of the voucher. I disagree that other dishes on the menu are not Main Courses!! Quite disappointed with this as entertainer is not a free book; we pay for it!
I live beside Al hamra mall , so i visited this place many times with my queen Dima Suliman .
The decoration is very warm , food is delicious , Shisha not bad but its good thats available .
Prices are acceptable , slightly expensive !
I came back after so much time it was a good experience at least!
The lunch was tasty and the service this time exquisite! We had the freekeh salad with a side of smoked salmon, and we also tried the steak with lemon sauce.
The potato base was a bit tasteless but it was fine
My previous experience
Craving some cakes and coffee we passed to al hamra mall branch.
First of all the waiters are very slow and non reactive. We sat outside and it took a while for us to get the menus. We went to the cake display which was practically empty lacking options.back to our table we called the waiter to order however it took her forever to understand a simple order of sorbet i had to show her on the menu what i am requesting.off to the second request of a cake, american coffee and cappuccino. And here we started receiving our order seperately first the cake then the sorbet then american coffee then cappuccino. Even the sugar came later. It was deceiving and unpleasant because of this service plus why the small piece of avergae cake cost that much??
