One of the best restaurant in ras al khaimah, clean and silent atmosphere, really nice. All the dishes are made properly. And one portion is enough for two persons.
Visited the place last night while searching for good Indian food in an unfamiliar city (visiting from dubai) with a mix of both vegetarian and non vegetarian food. While exploring some options stumbled upon this and were pleasantly surprised to find them.
The food is value for money, the prices are really low and portions are good for what you pay. Indian food taste is good. However little disappointed by Arabic grill portion sizes. The Hummus is nice and fresh. And Indian breads were good.
Best part about them is they are clean hygienic and their service is outstanding. The server heard us talking that Nan is a bit over toasted we didn’t even complained and within next minute we had a fresh Nan at our table mentioning sorry I guess you found the Nan over cooked here’s one for you!! That moment they won us over 😊😊😊
Anytime we are visiting Ras al Khaimah we are surely going there.
One of our usual family hangout restaurants😊 their palak paneer and butter naan is an awesome combo. Mixed grill is great as well! Good service too.
The food served is the perfect example of properly cooked food. Amazing taste and surplus quantity. Menu seems a bit expensive but the quality and quantity makes up for it. For some weird reason not 1/2 of the soups served but other then that it’s amazing food.

We ordered Indian Food from Golden Crown. They were quite fast in accepting our order and the delivery. The food is good and quite reasonable. Not much of variance but a certainly try if you require Indian food when in RAK
Taste wise the dishes are ok. Still not close to real Indian taste. Prices a bit high. Ambience, Service, Parking, location are all fine. Owner is a big fan of Indian film stars..
In first look, menu rates seems to be high. But when order came, qty. is huge as compared to other normal restaurants in Al Nakheel area in Ras Al Khaimah. Very delicious food. Specially chicken malai tikka, stuffed paratha and hakka noodles. Staff is very polite. Restaurant is neat and clean.
I advise if restaurant management can reduce the quantity along with rates so that their rates can match other restaurants price in Al Nakheel.
One of the oldest Indian restaurants in RAK
I remember visiting this place with my parents when i was a kid in their old location
That was a small and hidden place that everyone loved it
Later, they opened a branch in Hamrah Mall which is also good
Then closed the original place and moved to a bigger location and increased the prices
And this was when we visited for one time, and last time
Pyszne potrawy kuchni arabskiej i indyjskiej, aromatyczne i świeże. Mnie szczególnie przypadły do gustu dania wegetariańskie. Mieszkaliśmy w hotelu blisko restauracji, więc przez tydzień żywiliśmy się tam codziennie. Bardzo miła obsługa.
We liked it. And would Recommend !
The place is very huge.I think this would be ideal for peaceful dinner
with your dear ones. They've got cabinets separated rooms with decent privacy. The one factor which didn't go well with me, is the stairs. It becomes a little awkward when you have to wait helplessly until a the passage is clear.
Another thing which will catch your attention is the photos framed. It was indeed a pleasure to see the bollywood hunks during the 90s, reminds of our childhoods.
Coming back to the food. We ordered Chicken Soups, Chicken malai kebabs, Chicken Hakka noodles
and keema paratha. All had come with decent quantity and tasted good. The staffs , services & waiting period were pretty much acceptable and nice.
Slightly expensive in their menu but justifiable. They give a big quantity of complimentary salad, which is very much filling and satisfying.
Next time, will try different ones from their menu.
Been here with my friend for dinner and we had 2 course meal, in Starters we had Paneer chilly, hot n sour soup and in Main course Paneer Tikka and roti. They were good in taste. Bread were crisp and good service.
Undoubtedly the very best and refined Indian dishes in town, besides the Taj Mahal at the Mangrove that the Mughal emperors would love to savor again, given the healthy and hygienic food value added in modern times, along with richer culinary refinements that was propelled by neo Maharajas, western dignitaries during the British Raj, and most importantly food savvy foodies of our modern world.
If you want your family or visiting guests an ambience that is relaxed and with excellent view of downtown cityscape, and yet affordable, then you can save the burn of your pocket that is inevitable at the gorgeous seaside western hotels😀.
Trust me, I have enjoyed it, better than Indian restaurants in Dallas or Houston (yes, I am a US resident of Indian origin) or Al-Khobar's famous Grill Restaurant (my family favorite in Saudi Arabia).
And the habit of RAKians preferring to have food delivered at home gives you the FREE add on: you can pretend you have booked the entire dining area for yourself, that too for free, cherishing a true Maharaja-style lunch or dinner.
Try it to trust this professor of American University🙏
Bon Apetite!
P.S.
I will politely decline if my review bemuses the great owner of Golden Crown to offer any compliments in kind 😊.
Poor ambiance and mediocre service, but this place has been terrific for Indian food. They've got great chefs who hold the place together, and they're perhaps the only reason why I would go back to the place if I'm ever around.
Located right next to
Double tree this has a making to be one of the good Restaurants in RAK. The
food taste is really delicious whether its Indian or Chinese. Reasonable enough
too and lovely ambience.
Service is really good
and staffs are really friendly too. They even have a small party Hall. We did organize
some events also at this place and it’s up to the mark with its
service.
Nice restaurant in rak...taste is delicious. .services r good...recommending to visit...veg and nonveg both r avaliable. .location is changed from nakheel to near double tree hotel.
