Got chicken Mandi, and got only plain white rice and normal chicken. No side dish, no taste, and they don't know how to make Mandi . Please don't order this any one

Not good during holidays. Most of food stuff ran out early. Management should reconsider to supply more food dishes before running too early. Surprised that they do not service tea coz they want people to leave the place after food.

So this was a true surprising find for us. Had gone to RAK for a weekend staycation. Madfoon Al Saada was 10 min away from our hotel. So we decided to drive down and check out the place. <br/><br/>We ordered Mutton Madfoon & Chicken Madfoon, served with Mandi & Zorbian rice. The taste was amazing. We were genuinely surprised to find such flavorful taste. The seating arrangements are very comfortable, with both traditional seating as well as modern. Ample parking space in front, separate family section. <br/><br/>To top it up, we had the cream Kunafa, and it totally blew us away. As a resident of Dubai, I can drive to Ras al Khaimah any day to eat here. I went there with local colleagues from Ras al Khaimah after a business meeting and I am totally amazed by the taste and tenderness of the meat and the authenticity of the place. This is a place where you can experience a really traditional dining experience with great food. First we were served a soup which was one of the best soups I’ve ever tasted. Then came the meat madfoon which is served in a big plate to the middle . Sometimes words are meaningless to explain the taste and it was such a lunch. Definitely recommended

Just tried this place out of complete coincidence. Did see that it was highly rate and Checked out to see what was this place all about but as it turned out, it was one of the best. Goes without saying I would definitely come to Ras Al Khaimah from Dubai just to have lunch from this fantastic place. We tried the Meat Madfoon for the main course. Then the Kunafa Nabulsi and the Kunafa with Cream and chocolate.. exeeded expectations in every possible way. Absolute 5 stars considering the quality, quantity, service and Ambience. We did manage a clean sweep of every dish we had.

HOW HAVE I NOT WRITTEN A REVIEW FOR THE BEST RESTAURANT IN RAK? This place is our favourite no argument. We have to go here at least once a month or sometimes twice if we can’t stay away haha. They have the best service in Ramadan, super quick, super tasty and very simple menu. Our favourite is the Meat Madghoot, that meat literally falls off the bone and with the combination of tomato chutney and soup it’s the most divine meal you can imagine. No exaggeration. Trust me.

Mandi cravings and high rating on Zomato led us to try this this restaurant for lunch! The staff, though with a little difficulty in speaking English, helped us out with our order for delivery! <br/><br/>The food was delivered on time, served hot. However, we were charged a shocking AED 21 for delivery! After some persuasion, the gentleman who delivered the food had to clarify in Arabic to the restaurant staff and ended up charging AED 10 for delivery. <br/><br/>The Meat Madfoon (AED 45) and Spicy Chicken Madfoon (AED 25) were both good. The rice was flavored, not oily or spicy and the meat was tender and flavorful. However, between the two - the Chicken Madfoon was really good and worth the money paid for it. Both rice and meat quantity were sufficient enough to share easily between 2-3 people.

Have ordered 3 mandi chicken, one mandi meat, and one Madfoon meat with one salad. They did not gave me salad and one chicken mandi was missing. Which shows very unprofessional and I asked the guy if that’s all and he said yes that’s it. I left and went to jabal Jeas and I could not find the complete order.

The place use to serve good portions and great taste foods, sadly, in the last 6 months portions have diminished especially when you call in order. Additionally, prices in comparison to same cuisine yet about 20 - 30% higher. I stopped going there.

One of the best place to have Madfoon in Ras Al Khaimah,their lamb is juicy and fall apart tender, the rice is aromatic and the sauces are sour to perfection, ending the meal with Kunafa was a great delight, friendly staff majlis seatings available as well. Highly recommended

It's a spacious, friendly and clean location with amazing arabic food and it's preferred by locals. We ordered Madfoon goat with Bukhari rice, which was extremly delicious and a huge portion. The green salad was fresh and crisp and the dressing tasted well. The another main course was a new item and not on the menu that's why I don't know the name. It was a dish with lamb, roasted onions, raisins and big yellow lenses and mandi rice. All the food is yummy. The stuff is from Egypt and all the guys are very polite. Even the manager talked to us. One of them, Mohamed Saied was very talkative and answered all my questions patiently in English. The tea and gahwa are nice. This place is highly recommended. There are also family compartments available.

The food was great, but the price is different than shown on menu. Adding a little bit here and there on ordered items is not acceptable. Realizing this after the fact could leave a bad taste. This place in incredible. the Madfoon and Madhbi are best I had in ages!!service was excellent as staff were very fast with orders and in getting us the exact part that we wanted for our Madfoon and Madhbi. The rice was perfectly cooked and has very special flavor. We tried there Salads, Hummus and cucumber yogurt they were so good too!. After a very satisfying meal order Kunafa that tastes amazing!! they served us complimentary tea twice. We will definitely drive from AD to RAK just for this restaurant.

Had ordered Chicken Mandi and Meat Madfoon for home delivery. Received both dishes with same plain white rice. The Madfoon rice is supposed to be different flavor from the Mandi rice but mine were both the same plain white.<br/><br/>The meat and chicken were soft and tender. Wow. I just love their food. The ambience on the other hand is amazing. Lovely interior. So exotic arabic. The staff are so classy and friendly. Quick service. Their serving was extremely generous; we couldn’t finish our platters. So if you don’t have the stomach for it, I definitely recommend ordering your meal a person or two down. This platter was hands down one of the best meat and rice platters I had in a restaurant. We had this with side dishes of yogurt with cucumber and a rocca salad, which definitely added to the freshness of the meal. <br/><br/>We had the Kunafa for dessert, which was a mistake. The cheese they used seemed store-bought and it’s everything you don’t want your Kunafa to be. It was warm and fresh, but I don’t recommend it. You’ll be set up for disappointment. <br/><br/>The service was super quick, I don’t think five minutes passed before we ordered and our food was served. This makes me think that they make the food prior and serve it, which is much more efficient considering the large volume of people coming in. <br/><br/>They have multiple seating areas both in public and in private, a mix of tables and floor seatings. I never really understood the concept of private dining but after this experience I understand why some people want their inner savage revealed in private. <br/><br/>Bottom line: just visit and experience for yourself.

Madfoon Al Sadda is one of the most famous (and highly rated) Ras Al Khaimah mandi restaurants. Located on Sheikh Mohammed Bin Salem Road, next to Dubai Islamic Bank in Al Dhait North, the restaurant is split into two sections, one for men and the other for families. Its interior is cheerfully dressed in colourful, traditional patterns with cubicles, floor and table/chair seating available depending on your preference. If you have been to their branch on Jumeirah Beach Road in Dubai, you will immediately recognise the franchise uniform.

This place is a must visit if you are travelling through RAK as they have the best authentic arabic food. We went to this place on a Saturday evening as this place is crowded on Friday as well on Public holidays. Whenever someone asks me which is your favourite dish I always say Meat Madfoon.<br/><br/>The Meat Madfoon here is too die for, This is a Yemeni Restaurant in RAK, UAE. We have to sit down like Bedouins n eat our meal. It was just a experience to remember for a life time.<br/><br/>Quick service, Best food, The meat was so well cooked, it just melts in your mouth which gives u ultimate satisfaction of being a pure non vegetarian.<br/><br/>If I come back to RAK I will surely visit this restaurant. This one is a decent place to have some mandi dishes in RAK. More than their mandi dishes, I love their Konnafa. The live-cooked and served piping hot cream Konnafa, which is not too sweet, is one of the best you can have in my opinion. Their rice is dry and uncooked sometimes but the aroma from all the spices is different from other mandi dishes I tried at other restaurants. Eventhough rice is almost white, it tastes nice because of the aroma of the spices. Mutton and chicken are good. Had heard about the spicy 🌶 chicken madfoon as myst to try .. so got the chance to finally try it out... it was simply mind blowing... i personally love spicy food.. and the spice level was good.... would definitely recommend thing this to all the spicy lovers

We ordered the madgooth with goat, rice was good, the goat is ok but not as tender as the lamb compare to magbebh. Portion are ok but not ok as in other branches l. It’s perfect if you are looking for gulf cuisine.

The best Mandi in the Northern Emirates as the Mutton was falling of the bones. Salmon was the surprise of the day as we didn’t expect to be on the fish menu. The chicken Mandi was unlike any other.

During a road trip to Ras Al Khaimah, we made it to our list to pass by Madfoon Al Sadda for lunch.  It was during a weekday so the restaurant is not that very busy and the service is so fast.<br/><br/>We took the family room - set up in majlis style with covered curtains so you can enjoy your privacy more.<br/><br/>This restaurant is very famous for its delicious and generous serving of Mandi, and of course, we ordered the chicken mandi!  While waiting for your meal, you will be served with a complimentary soup, a side dish of sliced onion.  The soup is like a boiled chicken cube, but it doesn't matter because we didn't come here for the soup, we came here for the mandi!  You can choose if you want a regular Mandi rice or Bukhari rice.  I prefer the latter and tastes much better together with the chicken.  I couldn't stop eating and didn't care if I already had a lot of rice, their mandi is really one of the best!  They will also give you a free yogurt with the meal, and don't forget the dessert after that heavy meal - kunafa with cream!  Their Kunafa is awesome and this is the finale of your meal, once you're done with the Kunafa you are really done! :D<br/><br/>They have free parking just in front of the restaurant.  Our long drive didn't let us down, they are by far one of the best mandi restaurant!

Restaurant ambience and look is nice. Taste of mandi and madfoon in this restaurant is just muwah. Also do not forget to eat kunafa, It's really great. Staff is helpful and professional. Seating arrangement is good. In short it is a nice place to have gatherings or casual hangout.

Hands down Madfoon al Sadda is the undisputed king of mandi. I've eaten mandi from many places in the UAE and none have come close to Madfoon al sadda. I've been eating at this place for almost seven years and they've maintained the same brilliant quality that have made their mandi simply the best. They recently gave their family section a complete revamp making it more inviting. Try the chicken mandi and the chicken madfoon you won't be disappointed and don't skip the soup, the soup is by far the best chicken broth you can possibly get. Massive portions - and don't forget to try the kunafa - simply irresistible. A wonderful place to dine on some good wholesome mandi at great affordable price! Once you're down ne with your meal ask for the complimentary tea - perfect way to end a meal.

Trust me the worst place I have ever been.<br/><br/>We got a table for almost 20 mints nobody bothered to greet or even look at us. We were tired to tell the waiter take our order, I couldn't be more rude. He showcased his<br/> worst reaction when he saw us and asked us to just wait and walked away. <br/><br/>After a while I said we leaving then he came to take the orders. We order <br/>a sheesh tawook and a lamb mandi. <br/>I told him water and salad plus kunafa but after food. With his very rude attitude he said I won't come back to u just tell me now whatever u want now. <br/><br/>After a long wait he came to say LAMB Mandi is not available nothing is available with mutton just order something in chicken which we understood and we ordered and alternative<br/><br/>Later we found out that he lied to us and he served lamb mandi to a table next to us who were Arabs. We saw literally and couldn't believe it.<br/><br/>We asked for salad he got the salad after we almost were done eating out meal. <br/><br/>I can go on and on about how it has been the worst lunch if my life. But this review should be a slap on these people who are so racists. <br/><br/>NEVER EVER AGAIN!!

the best madfoon in the region. the meat/chicken is so tasty. the complimentary soup is very delicious as well. the ambiance is great as well. the place offers privacy if you have family. the atmosphere is quiet and it feels spacious. the prices are also quite reasonable considering the quality and taste of food.<br/>the staff is very friendly and nice though sometimes communicating your idea in english can take a while.<br/>excellent dining place and a must visit if you go to RAK.

After a nights stay at hamra my daughter wanted to hav mandi for lunch...<br/>Did a quick search on zomato and this was the nearst place and the rating was high as well so decided to dine in...<br/>Ordered for 1mutton madfoon...<br/>Excellent place, great service, one of the best madfoon i hav had, the meat was fab, the portion was enough for 3 of us (2adults nd a kid)...<br/>I wld hav rated the place a bit higher but the kunafa we had was a total opposite... the kunafa was dry and tasteless...<br/>

Madfoon Al Sadda is a rather well decorated restaurant with good seating area with both tables and the Arab Majlis style seating on the floor. Their mandi is fine but the dish that I love eating is the Chicken Madfoon. It's really tender has a complex blend of spices that is really good without overpowering the chicken. Chicken is really juicy and moist and I feel that for the Indian palate this probably suits us more than the traditional mandi.<br/><br/>I can never finish a plate of mandi. It's just too much rice for me so it's not always my first choice as a dish to have when I go out but some days it really does hit the spot especially for lunch.<br/><br/>Prices are similar to other mandi joints but the Madfoon costs more than the chicken mandi. They also serve Kunafa in individual small plates and they are good..... Not very sweet though which is fine for me but others may like it sweeter. <br/><br/>The restaurant is usually always busy on weekends with a lot of takeaway orders flying out.<br/><br/>I've tried Madfoon in other places but they don't compare to this one.

The Mandi Biryani is great here. Ordered all different ones and none had disappointed us. It had ample amount of rice which could fill many hungry stomachs.<br/>We ordered the Kunafa too, which wasn't too great, yet delicious. When you enter this place, the ambience itself was so tempting with families and groups of friends feasting on the food and the aromas teasing our noses. Ordered a variety of dishes with meat and chicken along with some salad and sauces. Enjoyed it very thoroughly and sure to drop by another time. The kunafa at the end was cherry on the top. Loved each and every bit !

A famous mandi and madfoon place in RAK as recommended by a friend so decided to go and have lunch there . I tried the spicy madfoon . It tasted really amazing . Best madfoon had until now . For dessert I tried the kunafa with cream . The seating and the ambience is very good . Service is also great . Would go here again soon .

It some what famous eatery in RAK . We had it once but didn't remembered name so this time we made the random choice and spotted the right place <br/>As u order u are served a complimentary soup ( shorba) lemons and onion rings.<br/>We had fish mandi and mutton mazbi . As i was glancing at the menu i realised that its a chain of resto and i already had been to their outlet in sharjah by name Madfoon al Khaimah (already reviewed)...<br/><br/>We Ordered 1 spicy chicken madfoon (Spicy) and 1 chicken mazbi..<br/>Service was pretty slow and the waiter who served me looked as if i have cum there to eat for free😈😈....<br/><br/>We started with soup, which was tangy and tasty.. With a yorgut salad and mandi sauce..<br/><br/>There comes the food after 10min... That typical Madfoon of this chain of resto, so soft chicken with so much perfection on use of spices... Rice was aged hence long and tasty...<br/>I cant explain to all that plate of treasure of madfoon; you need eat it to know what it feels like...<br/><br/>Chicken Mazbi was also having the same type of rice and the chicken was tender with exact amount of spices; however i was still in love with thier Madfoon...<br/><br/>Finally to end with we tried the much talked Kunafa.. Hi guys, Madfoon al Sadda rest one of the best and tasty restaurant in RAK. Whatever their lunch food, I love it. They use their materials good quality. After all kunafa best and tasty. Every time I go in RAK at any time , anyhow I buy kunafa. I can't resist especially my wife will not leave me.. Without it.👌🏻

Excellent Mandy and Madfoon. Love the food. It is traditional and authentic. You can eat in or pick up is very fast. Have tried their Mandy many times. Also a big fan of their Kunafa.

<br/>Heard a lot about their famous kunafa with cream and tried it, so my rating is only passed on that kunafa.<br/><br/>They have only this kunafa with cream (they don't have the one with cheese), still it is very delicious and highly recommend specially for one who are in a diet and craving kunafa. Most of the time you see kunafa drowning in shera (sugary syrup), but not this one. The amount of sugar is just perfect.

Great local/khaleeji food with warm family friendly environment, the meat falls off the bone because off how soft and tender it is, and the rice goes lovely with it. A definite must try if you go to RAK for a weekend getaway like I did.

One of the best Mandi I have had in UAE. We tried the Chicken Mandi, Madfoon and Mazbi, all three had a unique mild tangy taste.. The Kunafa with cream was simply awesome.. freshly made and served hot.. if you are visiting RAK and fond of Mandi, then this is a must go restaurant.. Cubicles are made for families..

If you're looking for a good full Yemeni meal, Madfoon could provide it.<br/><br/>Their Madhbi Laham is good, maybe not the best but seriously enjoyable. Their Kunafa though is not that good and one of the weakest I've had.

Visited this place on the way to Jabal Al Jais.<br/><br/>Positives- good majlis seating, excellent chicken and meat madfoon and a great kunafa to end the meal.<br/><br/>Negatives- madhbi not so great, service a bit slow.

As coined by the celebrity chefs from around the world, I agreed and followed the statement. Eat where locals enjoy their cuisine. Madfoon Al Sada has set a new standard for my expectation about Mandi places in UAE. So original, authentic, humble, spacious yet so good with the delivery of taste. I have tried many Mandi and local eateries in Sharjah. Some are good, some are royal, some too authentic. This was just the perfect blend of great food and hospitality. I liked the fact that the staff showed equal warmth in serving all guests. Even though the restaurant was super busy, the staff didn't forget to check on how are things and what more is required at all times. Undoubtedly with expert chefs behind the oven, one cant expect anything but scrumptious meal. My choice is Seafood biryani with house special hot sauce as mains. My husband liked the meat and bokhari rice way too much. But the seagoing biryani was overloaded with fresh prawns, squid and potato cubes. The dessert ended my meal on a right tone with a cheese stuffed kunafa baked just right. I envy RAK residents for having such an awesome eatery around their neighbourhood. Dubai deserves one too if management gets kind :)<br/>Anyway from now on the long drive to RAK for work found a new purpose! Bon appetit, friends!

Nice and tasty Mandi in Ras Al Khaimah. Good service and ample sitting space. Had the best Khunafa in the country. Will be visiting the place again whenever I happen to be in RAK

If you are ever in Ras Al khimah you have to visit this place. You order what they called themselves "Madfoon". The goat meat is fall off the bones good.

One of te best mandhi and madfoon in Rak.. Little bit confused that is it original way of making mandhi ,. Rice is little bit different... Konafa is yummy., the best I had in UAE ... Good serving..

This place has an awesome service and very tasty mandi items (chicken and meat), the best part is their konafa with cream as dessert. Kids love the konafa. I would not recommend take away from here ...but the food is good. For two kids and 2 adults not more than 70/-aed on budget<br/><br/>There's a absolutely a huge rush here on Fridays be warned.

Wow, one of the delicious mandi n madfoon i have eaten so far. We were traveling to ras al khaima and i was searching for such kind of road side restaurant. But i found it more than my expectations. Sitting arrangement, ambiance, food, staff all were superb. 👍
