The ambience is very good. It is quiet and the view is scenic through the restaurant windows. The staff is friendly. However the food is average. I have tasted better Indian food. Also, the price and portion size don’t go hand-in-hand.

Motimahal is a typical Indian restaurant with variety of dishes and an added Motimahal Creative touch to the Indian dishes .<br/>Vegetarian starter cheese potatoes were awesome. Pic attached<br/>Food was ok . Staff was very well behaved and provided friendly service .<br/>Compared to Indian place this place lack good taste in food . You can expect good ambience and photographic presentation of food.

Went to moti Mahal with couple of friends and tried a lot of dishes. Some of it I liked , some I didn't. Dal makhani is not so good. Paneer lababdar is tasty, masala papas is also good.<br/>One thing I didn't like is their late service. Waiters keep apologizing but still it spoils the mood.

The food is nice but the staff needs a lot of training. The guy who was serving our family was like he was doing a big favour to us. The bill was given without asking, we felt un welcomed and the cherry on the cake when we asked for card machine in front of our family members says “INKO CARD MACHINE DE” seriously guys!! Is this how you treat a customer? Pathetic and definitely will not recommend this to any one. I want the manager to call me and make me understand why did this happen.

'Satisfactory food and service'<br/><br/> We visited Delux Motimahal restaurant at the Al Quawasim Corniche in Ras Al Khaimah as a couple for a birthday dinner. We heard that it serves amazing Indian food. <br/><br/>Here is a review of what we tasted:<br/><br/>1. Beverages: Lemon and mint mojito and fresh lime soda - the lemon and mint was a bit strong but quite ok. The fresh lime soda tasted like the lime was stale. We asked for a fresh one, but it looks like they just brought the same one back as it tasted stale too. A total disaster!<br/><br/>2. Mixed grill: It was an assortment of types of chicken, mutton sheekh, prawn and fish. It was delicious.<br/><br/>3. Prawn biryani: It was not upto our expectations - it tasted like an ordinary biryani, but not like what we heard from friends. It was served with raitha.<br/><br/>Complimentary chutney and pickles are served.<br/><br/>The staff is polite but not effective. The ambience is good and there is adequate seating - the food and service need to keep up to the ambience. Motimahal has the best royal fine dining experience. The interiors are so traditional, it takes you back in time. The kebabs were way too good, beyond our expectations. We went with family and had an amazing experience. Would definitely go back.

Located at near corniche. Good interiors with fine dine seating. The restaurant has two floors.<br/>I tried the mutton seek kebab which was juicy and delicious - would rate a 4 / 5. Deluxe Biryani was quite dry - rate a 2/ 5.<br/><br/>All in all a good place for a fine dine eatery.

Motimahal is located in the Corniche Road of RAK. The ambiance and service is up to the mark. I was very pleased with their food, We ordered Cream of Tomato, Tamatar Dhaniya ka Shorba, Paneer Tikka and Vegetable Platter as Starters. Also tried Paneer Jal Frezi and Dal Makhni with Garlic Naan, Butter Naan, Pudina Butter Naan and Aloo Kucha. Every thing was just delicious 😋 <br/>

A good destination for Colonial Indian Cuisine lovers, restaurant dine floor is a bit small and table are overcrowding the area with no room for movement<br/>But food is great and staff are very nice and welcoming

The location and interior is very nice and the restaurant is maintained nicely with very humble staff. The quality of food is not really great and infact the rumali roti we ordered was stale, the vegtables were prepared with excess of oil which could have been avoided..... rest all was excellent.

A famous chain now in RAK. Spread across two floors with good ambience and courteous staff. <br/>You can pick anything from their menu and you can’t go wrong. My favourites are - non veg tandoori platter in which I love the two types of tandoori fish and chicken. Lamb is okay. You can’t leave the place without trying their butter chicken with garlic naan. It’s simply finger licking! <br/>Biryani seems quite popular here as I saw every table ordering at least one portion. I tried it as well. It could have been slightly more rich in flavour if cooked and served in dum. <br/>Overall, the famous chain maintains its legacy and is definitely value for money.

For me it is best restaurant in town. Never disappointed with quality, quantity and taste of food whether it is vegetarian or non-veg food. Their Dal Makhni, veg/non-veg Platter and Garlic Naan taste amazing, really out of the world. Above all very friendly staff and music in the restaurant makes your visit more enjoyable.

Delicious. Ladhidh. We had butter chicken, biryani, shrimp, and spicy chicken. Everything was perfect and the final bill was less than 200 dirham for all 4 of us. We all recommend this restaurant. <br/>

Recently we tried this hotel for the birthday party and used to visit frequently for dinner but it is observed that the food tastes is really going down. There are not much choices in vegetarian also. Overall we felt that it’s a waste of money compared with the food quality.

It is a family restaurant which serves indian mughlai dishes. I went only once to this restaurant located on Corniche Road in Ras Al Khaimah with high expectations. I orderd Mutton Biryani which i was craving for. The taste was bland for me. I like biryani with some juicy meat and masala in the rice. In here it was dry. Few pieces of mutton in the expensive Biryani. Even though it serves Indian dishes, I think the flavor in here is not suitable for spicy eating Indians. I felt that the target customers for them are not Indians.<br/><br/>Ambiance- Good<br/>Taste- Poor<br/>Portion- Poor<br/>Service- Good<br/>Hygiene- Good<br/><br/>I think it is an overpriced restaurant. You dont get what you pay for.<br/>

Interiors and the service were pretty good. View of the waterfront adds to the whole experience.<br/>However, with regard to the food I am a bit disappointed<br/>Butter chicken tasted too sweet. Biryani was pretty bland.<br/>Vegetarian platters tasted average. Rogan Gosh curry was well presented but again tasted more like a tomato gravy.<br/>Not worth the money for the type of food they serve.

The decor was welcoming, complete with very upmarket interiors. <br/>Veg Kebab Platter had variety and was very appealing. Loved Paneer Tikka. Nawabi Murg Tikka was marinated well & cooked to perfection. <br/>Their signature Butter Chicken was one of the best. So was the Daal Tadka & Peas and Mushroom dish. All went well with variety of Indian breads, best being Garlic Naan. Jeera rice was simply amazing, reminded me of the authentic one we had in Dhabbas in India. <br/>We had a great dining experience!!

I had dinner in the restaurant with few of my friends .. the vegetarian food is average and i did not liked it much.. even the famous dal makhani was not very good.

Although the food was good, the bad service and racist staff overshadowed the great taste. If you are a non-arab expect the worst and rudest behaviour from the staff, who refused to seat us elsewhere as we were a party of 4 but given a small table and also were made to feel inferior by the head waiter. Great food but bad experience.

Big name from Delhi, India. All things are fine except the most important- taste. That's a let down from its own legacy. Not at all matching with its own standards. Different veg and non veg items are pretty bland, hence the original taste gets lost. Overall disappointing.

We ordered Non Veg platter which was sufficient for 3 people . The onion kulcha was a good find. The ambiance is great with good sitting arrangement. The Lighting is just perfect for a good dinner. The chicken tikka masala was average , service was quick & fast.

The ambience of this restaurant is quite good. We ordered a non veg platter, chicken kadhai, Dal makhani, Veg jalfrazi and butter naan. For dessert we ordered matka kulfi and ras malai. The service was also good but the only thing which was a turn off was the absence of napkins on our table whereas we saw it on other tables.

Been here for the first time by reading reviews of diners. It's seriously hyper-rated! It's an average restaurant in every aspect. <br/><br/>I tried their Murgh Shorba, Arabic salad, Tandoori Murgh, Gosht Seekh Kebab, Deluxe Biryani, some Tandoori Rotis, and Ras Malai to end the meal. I genuinely loved the Ras Malai!!! It was very well made, extremely delicious. But, overpriced for the quantity. Biryani was a huge portion, but flat on taste with absolutely no seasoning like a biryani should have, though it was prepared very well with good vegetables, eggs, and tender meat chunks (both lamb and chicken). I did like the Gosht Kebab. It was very well seasoned and cooked, thoroughly tender kebabs. Tandoori Murgh was just orange color and lemon sprinkled chicken, NOthing more than that! Arabic salad was satisfactory, as well the soup. They gave us dates to start for iftar, which was nice.<br/><br/>Talking about the restaurant decor, it was pleasant. Staff was very friendly, helpful, quick at service, and active. The ambience was fine. Privacy curtains were see-through, which means no 100% privacy, and I wasn't very happy with that. The seating was extremely uncomfortable as the sofa seat was way too deflated for me to even reach my plate easily. The food was cooked to perfection, the ambience was nice as well, the only thing that was a little bothering was the music playing in the background, a bit too filmy to be listened to while eating (should have played slow music instead). The waiters however were very friendly and well behaved. I was celebrating a friend's birthday and the staff were really helpful in that regard(bringing the cake and the gift from the car). It was a good experience overall. Will definitely recommend my friends, family and colleagues .

I had a chicken dum biriyani parcel today from this place. The food was not tasty at all. The masala was low and felt cheap. And they call it hyderabadi dum biryani! Not worth the money! <br/>

Had a pathetic service today though the restaurant was empty but they took a very long to serve , never expected from such a reputed restaurant in RAK. And further to this fish masala was yuk and pathetic. They should call fish masala as tomato masala. If u need to have biryani you can visit this place otherwise I rate this restaurant as an below average one

Just had dinner. Enviroment was nice, nice and quite just the sound of old songs. Food was great even the naans were great which is a odd thing for me because i have never had thia delicious naan i didn't know naan were suppose be tasty. Mango lassi was great. Rasmalai is a must try,

My family & I have been coming to the restaurant ever since the time it was still based inside the Manar Mall. Compared to the earlier location, I must say that the Corniche location is really much more luxurious and a great place to entertain guests. <br/><br/>My go to dishes there have always been the Vegetable kebab platter as a starter. This platter is a firm family favourite expecially since my parents are not big fans of red meat. Starters are usually followed by daal makhani & my favourite garlic naan and then I usually steal a few morsels or spoons from all the other dishes ordered by the others. Never had any complaints about the food but I can't say that there is that one dish on the menu that I would make a big effort to come down here just to eat it. <br/><br/>Great ambience and the staff are very friendly & courteous. <br/><br/>

Moti Mahal is an absolutely amazing place for Indian food. It is located at corniche in RAK, so the view and the location is beautiful. The staff there is very friendly. We ate kadai paneer, daal makhni and different Indian breads. All the dishes were delicious and the best thing over that was the dessert - Ras malai. It was awesome and probably one of the best in UAE. Overall I will highly recommend the place.

Been here twice. Once with a gang of friends and second tine with family. Both the times, I had a nice time here. Food and ambience is something I liked. The services are good as well. The mix blatter and the mutton kebabs are the must tryss.

Moti Mahal has been a favourite in India. I came in with high expectations. Slow service. The non veg mix platter and jheenga malai kebab was delicious.<br/>Bread basket was good paired with roghan josh and dal fry. Though the mutton was melting it was not up to the mark. It was overall good but I hoped for more.

Heard about the place n dropped down for lunch on a calm day. Food not upto the mark. Food absolute tasteless n services worse. Not gonna come here again!!!! Big let down.

We were taken in by a friend. I must say its a real surprise. One of best restaurants I have ever tried. Anything and everything we ordered was really a treat. Both vegetarian and non vegetarian food were awesome. Plus the service was most hospitable. Best Indian restaurant outside India.

Phenomenal butter chicken...i mean it cant get better than that. One more thing that is actually amazing is murg malai kabab, exceptional. And to top it all off u can add garlic naan to it which will make it all even better.

Very Good food but the staff is terribly unprofessional and rude. Went with guest for lunch (first floor) and our whole afternoon was spoilt. I have noticed they were very nice with Arabs. I request the management to take up this matter seriously with their employees. 4 stars for food and minus for the staff.

Great place to eat Indian food in Ras Al Khaimah. The food is expensive compared to some better off Indian outlets for similar or better taste. Favourite North Indian food in town. Spoken of a true delhi food lovee, these guys have two brilliant dishes which nobody can dislike. 1) Daal Makhani 2) Butter chicken! Amazingly close to the best daal makhani in delhi! They have the best mughalai food in Ras Al Khaimah! Have tried almost 7 varieties of tandoor/tikkas and all of them taste excellent! <br/>Way to go moti mahal!

Its difficult to get good, tasty food in RAK... but must say Delux Motimahal is tooo good when it comes to serve kababs and tikkas...even banjan ka bharta was excellent. Rumali roti must try. Nice decor and friendly staff 👍

Indian fare. Tastefully done decor. And most of all in the corniche area. Food is rather average..but wont mind recommending the kebabs and tikka items. The same goes for the butter chicken too. If you are craving for Indian fare, this place is defenitely worth a visit.
