We learned that the the Kappa Byriyani is available only at night. So we had regular lunch. The Rasam was superb this time! I recommend this restaurant for all who likes South Indian dishes. A most loving and family oriented restaurant. Just feels like home. The service is something which everyone would love and appreciate. I would recommend everyone to visit and have a taste of the homely food of kerala. Thank you to Mrs Sindu (hit 96.7) and her husband for such a best restaurant.

Really homely kind of food which is been served with lots of kindness and hospitality. Have to mention about the challakuddy chicken recommended by one of the smart employee in the restaurant. All my family members enjoyed the ambiance and food at Malabar Choice rest.

Yesterday we taken "VISHU SADYA " From Malabar choice, we need to thanks Malabar choice that we got a wonderful testy Sadya. its like a home made sadya,and all curry's was good. and also the verity of the curry's like kichady,olan, kalan,kootukari all very testy. once again we thankful to MALABAR CHOICE to make our Vishu with a healthy testy sadya.Thanks Biju and Sindhu.

This is a very basic restaurant. It offers nice food for a very reasonable price. The lunch meals set was for 8 dirhams and it had 6-8 dishes in it.

I have visited this restaurant with my friend, the ambiance is normal, i have ordered normal meal and to my expectation it was the worst meals i had till now.

Been to this restaurant last week when i was visiting my friend staying nearby. Ordered for few south indian food. Restaurant is small but cozy. Food is okay.

The place serves south indian cuisine.. The food here i found was decent when it comes to taste, price & service... The ambience is not the best. but they do have a family area too.

Been here for Friday lunch. We had fish curry meals and chicken biriyani. The biriyani was good and can be recommended. Meals was just average only and needs improvement. Ambience was okay. Service was good. The parking in front of the restaurant will be tricky sometimes, but can be found in the nearby area.

Malabar choice as the name sugest serves Indian costal cusines. Very authentic taste and some good dishes if you are familiar with the cuisine itself. The prices also indicates to be economical here. <br/><br/>Nothing huge about the ambience and decor, but i would suggest any one who likes rice and Biriyani to try their Pothi Biriyani on Fridays. Its like you get back home and then realize at like 9-10 in the night that you don't have food. Then on top you crave for food from Gods own country, tho its not country its called country. Try out the kerala paratha and nadan kozhi curry and one of the days pothi choru.

Having found them through zomato, ordered for home delivery. Being veggie, ordered Gobi Manchurian and veg khorma with dosa. Manchurian was crispy and tasty. Khorma tasted OK. Dosa was made of dry dosa powder not the fermented flour which tasted different but bad. Packing was good. Cost is OK. Quick delivered delivery.

Reading the review given below I ordered Biriyani. It was not jeerakasala rice, its basmati.and the Biriyani was not good either. Not up to mark.<br/>

After reading a lot of positive reviews I decided to try this place. I ordered a butter chicken with parathas which were just average. I love the South Indian version of the butter chicken but this one didn't impress me.

Clean restaurant , Fresh food and good customer service, price is reasonable, will go and recommend others, good location and it has limited restaurant reserved parking spot, so parking could  be an issue...!!

Ordered some chapathis chicken curry and mushroom curry. Reminds me of my days in Kochi, Kerala. The curries had that quaint coconut oil fragrance. Taste wise good.<br/><br/>Delivery does takes its own sweet time.

Its a good restaurant, Prizes are affordable compared to other restaurant, Quality and quantity of food is Superb.. I like Fisha masala very much, me and my family we have together food over there once a week. An average restaurant for Authentic South Indian food. <br/><br/>The ambience of the restaurant is not very great, it could use some work. I've had the masala dosa for breakfast and found it nice. The other dishes are average. It's light on the pocket so it is good for getting delivered at home if you don't feel like making anything.

I generally don't recommend in zom@ato. This is 1st time I recommend for a hotel and a dish which I really got impressed. On Fridays they are having a special biryani on the banana leaves which is simply superb. Today we had and the taste is still on my tounge tips. I specially recommend this item. Please try....

One of the very few good restaurants in Ajman. The food is South Indian and more of the christian flavor. But they do have most of the Kerala food. We have had lunch and dinner from there. The biriyani is one of the best. Dinner was mostly poratta with different currys. The honey chicken was great. But we were kind of put off with them serving spicy curries even when you requested non-spicy ones for the kids. This has happened several times. In the end the kids have to depend on the honey chicken. Other than that it's a great place to be. Value for your money and not a heavy burden on your pocket. I recommend this restaurant to any one who likes good food.

Tried the so called dum chicken biriyani. Not at all recommended. They are using frozen chicken and are telling that they prepare dum biriyani. We made a call to the restaurant and when asked about this they said that they are always using frozen chicken. Not going back to this place again. There are other places / cafeterias serving good biriyani.

Great food! Haven't dined in here but ordered food instead. Tried their chicken pepper roast and crab roast. Both were really great in taste. Delivery is a bit slow but I hope they improve on that.

Decent restaurant in Ajman who serve pocket friendly Kerala food. Quality and taste is also very good. Kerala meals is only 8 dhs and good think is they serve meals on Friday as well. Staff are also very friendly and helped us to find parking many times...

Had been to this place yesterday..moderate looking fast food restaurant but with hospitable staff.Very few places in Ajman that have really good food and Malabar Choice is one of them.we ordered chicken 65, chicken roast . It took a long time for them to serve us but the time was worth it as they served fresh soft and tender chicken. It being a typical kerelaite joint we were not aware of the names but the staff was very helpful and considerate enough to exolain how it was cooked and what it was made of. We relished each morsel of food and had a sumptous dinner. To our surprise, the kind owner came upto us to have a casual chat on how the food was. He also offered us a complementary honey chicken starter which was lip smacking. A must visit if you want to enjoy a hearty keralite meal at the most reasonable cost.<br/><br/>Thank you for having us!!

Malabar Choice has become one of my first choice when it comes to ordering some good south indian food in Ajman. Delivery time needs to improve though.

I had gone to this restaurant with my family. The seating area is not very great and feels dull. Only two waiters were serving the whole restaurant (which means slow service). The food we ordered was served cold which kind of spoiled the taste. And I ordered for a dish in the menu which was not available and it really annoyed me. Food could have been good if it was served properly.

Malabar choice Restaurant serves delciious south indian cuisines at such an affordable rate. Their chalakudy beef and chicken karakudi are just awsome. Try out this restaurant if you would like to taste good food.

A smiling welcome always make you feel good and thats the first thing i noticed in this place. I didnt had much expectations while entering there as there was no rating or review available in zomato.<br/>as it was lunch time i opted for chicken biriyani and it got served in no time still looks hot n fresh.<br/>It was one of the best biriyani i had considering th3 budget as well.<br/>I think parking is an issue in this area but worth trying if you are in ajman and looking for south indian or kerala food.
