Awesome arabic food with good ambiance in Ajman.
Will definitely visit again with family to enjoy their other dishes.
Have ordered many times and have also been for dine in.
They have lovely shwarmas and grills.
Mixed grill is the best. Pasta is good.
Their juices are all good.
The tabbouleh salad and fatoush salad is delectable.
Will recommend everyone to try from here
The taste of food is awesome. The delivery time is little more. The chicken Broast is crispy and delicious. The potato chips are good in taste.Fattush quality and quantity both are best. machine roasted chicken with fried rice is good in taste . Staff is best .
The food was really up to the mark
We have ordered the arayes & broasted chicken with big crispy potato fries a couple of times from here
Arayes was really tasty having the authentic arabian taste
Potato fries was exceptional
Highly recommend others this restaurant
Grilled chicken was delicious, but they forgot to put vegetable salad
Had a late night snack with friends to pass time. I really loved the cocktail juice and the shawarma, even the person who was serving us was also really welcoming. We wanted meat shawarma too but it was out of stock that day. Probably will try later on.
Taste - 4/5
Service - 4/5
With no doubt, this is the best Arabic Restaurant in Ajman. Good for families to dine in with all the variants of dishes across Arabic cuisine. We tried their broasted, pasta penne, hummus with shawarma topped. All the dishes were up-to the mark. I have to come back again to try their grills. Parking wont be a problem in the area.
Amazing Ambience and amazing food. I have tried plenty of items and have never been disappointed. The price, quantity, quality and service get top marks from me.
Food amazing, service amazing, prices amazing
Great food , delivery and taste...
We ordered one mix grill and a roasted chicken both received hot and tasty...
Thank you Zomato for the discount as well.
one of the best places to eat arabic cuisine in general.. I tried this place many times before and always I was happy with the food also I would highly recommend their shawarma it is the best in ajman.. prices are fare and thr ambiance is good..
The place is so good, food is clean and authentic, and i love it, i am a regular customer, but my criticism is the chicken shawarma, it has a funny taste and smell, as if the chicken is not clean, but other than that its all 10/10
Absolutely love this place for arabic cuisine. The kebabs and arayes are my absolute favorite. The management is very friendly and polite and its always a joy to visit this place.
I have tried many dishes here and never regretted any of it.
Ambience : 4/5
Quality of food : 5/5
Service : 5/5
Very good service and perfect recommendations from the staff, the prices is reasonable and the quality so good as well, well done keep it up
I'm eating in that resurant for more than 6 years, they started small and grown up massively, food is so so nice and service is very very fast, I have tried almost all the items in the menu.... No regret... U going to love the place... Mansaf is so yummy, shawarma is perfect, bab Al hara mix grill is something u going to love...
I have been to BAB Al Hara 3-4 times now . Our latest visit being 2 days ago. This review is a cumulative score of all my visits to Bab Al Hara
Food : 5/5
excellent variety of Arabia foods and grills. We ordered the BAB Al Hara 1 kg mix grill and lentil soup. Over all great taste and good selection of kababs , meat Tikka, chicken Shish tawuk , chops, Arais etc. Good quantity if you are a group of 3-5 ppl. We also ordered some mango juice which was alrite.
Service : 3/5
Service at this place is just about ok. I visited recently for dinner during Eid vacations and this place was packed. Absolutely packed! There was not single table available. I asked the manager how long we would have to wait and that I would like to write my name in que for a table. He said to me that there is no system or que to getting a table and that I would I have to look for a table myself. In short he suggested I should keep looking at tables which one is going to be empty soon and jump on it the moment people are ready to stand up. Really didn’t appreciate his way of talking and “do not care if you eat or leave kind of attitude”. Guys we are coming to your restaurant as customers and I for one had travelled all the way from Dubai. The least u can do is help ur customers find a table ,and be polite . Luckily for us , we managed to find a table in 10-15 mins on our own with help from anyone at the restaurant .The rating of 3 given above is from my experience in the past with them , however purely for this visit , I would score them a 1/5
Ambience : 3/5
Usual Arabic decor , simple design and over all neat and clean on most occasions.
I would highly recommend Arabic food lovers to visit this place however strongly feel that public holidays should be best avoided. They are not very high on service but their food is excellent on most occasions.
very delicious food found in few places around. bab al hara was one of them for a long time. if you in for traditional shami food or shawarma this is the place for you. make sure to ask you shawarma from Abu staif, best shawarma chef
Was in the area and decided to try this place, and was surprised by the quality of food, very good in taste, Lenti Soup just one of the best i habe tried, the Mix grill was spot on.
Couple of reservations:
When ordering the server was not quite helpful at all, and never told us that Grill Plater that we order included salad and some Mezes and that we do not need ro order more. Service really needs to improve and in addition they should have access to back garden directly from restaurant as they use the main door and have to walk all around the restaurant to get to back Garden.
The best Arabic restaurant in town , fresh food and delicious taste . They have nice daily fresh cooked dishes . I love their shawarma ( meat and chicken) mix grill , grilled chicken , etc almost everything is worth tasting at this place
It’s soooo delicious food good and fresh thanks bab alhara ♥️ I’ll recommend you to all my friends to try very tasty restaurant I’ve ever eat here
A Great place for some authentic kababs, aryees and grills. Hummus with meat and pine nuts was a super starter. The lamb kebabs were very succulent. They serve the main grills with garlic sauce, hummus and olives. Its good to see a restaurant serving a wholesome plate of salad along with their grills.
Service was good, staff is very attentive. Although their cleaning person came a little late to get our table ready.
Cosy ambience with decent outdoor seating. Although the weathers a little too cold right now.
Recently tried out this place. The lentil soup is simple and nice, the seafood soup is just average, the flavours were too subtle and wouldnt recommend it. The Mansaf was the highlight here. Tired the Turkish coffee and mahalabiya as well. The service is quick and more friendly than the near by Amour restaurant. Heard the shawaramas are great as well. Highly recommended if you are nearby and looking for some good decently priced Arabic food.
Parking is plenty as well.
Excellent food. Fast service. Really good improvement from the last time we visited. Highly recommend the chicken grill and chicken with rice.
If you are looking for an authentic Syrian cuisine in Ajman, this is the right place. I was introduced to this place by a Syrian friend and seriously the place is really serving up to the expectations. I have tried most of their menu items, here is the summary:
For a small meal, I always go for a Sheesh Tawouk Sandwich but if we are a group a platter is the best thing to go for.
Pro tip: Their Tamarind Juice is amazing. Trust me on this one and order straight away.
Since they have revamped the place, the ambiance is awesome now. You can enjoy the live kitchen plus the staff is friendly.
Heard a lot about this place in Ajman, so we went there yesterday for a family dinner.
The restaurant is quite big & spacious with plenty of sitting inside & a small sitting area outside too.
We ordered their mixed grilled platter .. which was 120 aed for 1 kg of mixed grills... it was served with Hummus, bread & mutabal...
we also ordered the Chicken Fahita .. it was a type of sizzler .. shredded chicken along with bell peppers.
Our favorite Baba Ghanoush...
Even chicken pasta .. ..
Everything thing was delicious & the servings were also shareable.
How can we end a dinner in some arabic restaurant without Kunafa followed by a black tea ... we had both ...cream kunafa ... it was warm & yummy.
To sum it up .. a recommendable place .. nice service & pocket friendly.
A place of simply deliciously tender Kababs and Lamb Chops great ambiance recommend to end your meal with their special Laban, friendly staff, mouth watering Arabic grills and Kababs
احلى مطعم عربي بعجمان، اللحوم من احسن النوعية، و الاكل طيب جدا،
The best restaurant in Ajman in terms of quality , and the food is very delicious
Speciality of Labanies food dishes found here at Bab Al Hara restaurant . Soup is tasty . Fresh bread have delicious taste . Shwarma plate is totally different in taste . Chicken broast and Grilled chicken have much good taste.Service is average mean not too good but normal. The large variety of food is spicy and tasty
I must come again with my family .
Its a great place for arabic food lovers, the food is heathy and fresh and to top it of, the prices are reasonable too. My favorite is their shawarma with their garlic and red sauce 😋
Love this place....nice dine in and outdoor seating....food is awesome.....hv tried their grilled chkn shawarma fish muxed kabab plate.....everything was just perfect.....serving style is also great.....staff is friendly nd nice....
The best shawarma I've experienced in the vicinity. Personally, I liked the chicken shawarma more than the Meat Shawarma. Their Shish Tawook sandwich is also amazing. Sometimes they take a bit longer to serve your order. Ambiance is nice and they are up till late night to satisfy your late night cravings :D
One of the nicer places in ajman, serving some great arabic food. like sheesh tawook, grilled chicken, hummos, muthabal, lentil soup. the greek salad can be better, however the shawarma are pretty decent. overall good value for money.
They have really quick service, and it’s super clean when you dine in. The staff is extremely friendly.
The prices are quite reasonable. And the food is great. Totally worth the price.

Wow wow wow that s the way I want to start. About this place. Great ambience great service and great food.
Total value for money
Shawarma platter or the Arabic shawarma
The Halabi kababs or araies
What ever u order is just yum
go there and get drooling
This restaurant truly lives up to any gastronomes expectation. While the aroma may lure one into their lush interiors, a quick-bite in their open-air seating is also an enticing option. While the atmosphere set is a pleasant and welcoming one inside, availability of parking may be at odds (at times) outside.
Enter 'The Neighborhood's Gate (Bab al Hara)' and relish the Arabic Eastern Mediterranean cuisine.
It was a real experience with lots of different Kebabs and dips. We had an office party over here last week. Mix kebabs are very tasty. The ambiance and service are awesome. The food quality and quantity are very well-balanced for the money you spend. It is a real recommended place for the Arabic cuisine.
One of my favorite Arabic food restaurants, I’ve tried shawarma, shish tawook & tikka sandwiches they were amazing
Not to forget to mention about their Mansaf, its so yummy you should try it :)
This place is a go to place for tasty shawarma and Kebabs. They have variety of Shawarma plates and Kebabs. The good things is that the meat is fresh and juicy.
It is an all night place. Need a 1am bite. Check this place out
We get go good food here, both quantity and quality is good. Nice ambience and good place to have good time. Servers are friendly but service is bit slow
Good food , though service can be a bit slow. Can't blame them as it is quite crowded in the evenings. I mostly have the mix grill and shawarma , although my favourite is the kibdeh.
food and ambiance , great. Shawarma yummy. The soups are great, the lentil soup had really strong flavour of some meat broth in it , i guess beef broth (caution for vegetarians,i m not one) but it was too strong for my taste. the Chicken cream soup was so delicious. Everything was great, best place to try arabic food. Only one complaint, service is too slow, everytime.
Arabic cuisine at its finest.
Excellent ambience
Excellent Service
Cost a bit high, but taste and quality pars it.
Must visit in Ajman for arabic dishes.
Food 4.5/5
Service 4/5
Ambience 3.5/5
Quality 4/5
Value for money 4/5
This restaurant serves the best arabic dishes around this area.
If you are around this area, dont miss their meat shawarma bruh.
Bab Al hara is a place to be if you are craving for some evening snacks
There Shawerma platter is on the money and Mexican shawerma is absolutely amazing
Highly recommended for foodies out there
This is the place to visit for Arabic shawarmas. I frequent this place more for quick snack shawarma. Grilled chicken is also really tasty & worth it. Started visiting when they were in a small shop & they have now grown & moved to bigger space with more seating. Prices are reasonable & parking can sometimes be an issue. Recommend this place for their Shawarma.
i have to say, when i first moved to ajman, this was the first restaurant i went to and the food was excellent.2 years later and a change of location later ,the standard of this place has come down. It's still good but it's nowhere near the old standard and the time it takes for the food to arrive is unacceptable. On one occasion,me and my family had to wait 2 hours for just 1 kilo grilled chicken.this place was amazing, but i'm sorry to say,it isn't anymore.
Love this place. Has authentic Arabic food and their starters are the right portion and have that home made taste. Their shawarma is a hit but at most times it sells out faster than anything on the menu. Great for dine in, take out and delivery. I love their mixed grills which I highly recommend. Their fatoosh salad is one of the best that I have had in Ajman. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Awesome food quantity and quality! Great serving time even during the peak hours! Definitely the best grill in ajman! Though the seating is little congested, ambience is not bad!
On a random visit to Ajman with my hubby darling we saw this place... and immediately
Our love for Arabic food sparks and we decided to try this place.
We were in a mood of some thing light so we went for the fatoush with grilled Hamour fillet and Humous.
Humous was good and fatoush was fresh n crunchy the way i want it to be. The fish took a little extra time to come but it was worth waiting for... marinated and cooked to perfection. It was rich in flavor and taste great but the serving was small as compare to the serving size of similar kind of places.
Last but not the least was the Sulemani tea that completes our meal.
Overall a very good experience and definitely going to try some other stuff with our friends n family.
A must try for Arabic food lovers.... heard about their shawarma so my next visit is done.
First time I test Arabic foor in Babul hurrah, I cant explain how much testy and delicious food in this restaurant, babul Hura is amazing place for food with good service and fantastic test.
one of the top Arabic style barbeque places in Ajman, the price is very reasonable and the food is also tasty. good place to sit outside. you must try their mix barbeque platter it is very good. Arabic shawarma is also very nice.
We travelled from Dubai to Ajman just to try their shawarma's. The location for this place on Google maps was wrong as it is the old location. The new one is further ahead of the old one. We dined in and service was prompt. We ordered a round of chicken shawarma's followed by my friends trying the meat shawarma's. We also ordered the humus Beiruti and the Arabic shawarma. The food tastes good and fresh but there was nothing special about the shawarma. The new location has a large seating area both inside and outside with good ambience. However, my friend who had the meat shawarma has a small piece of rubber which came from the gloves of the person who made it. We raised the issue to the manager and sorted things out.
Great Restaurant very good food and well delivered
You need to try it for sure ..............................................................
Craving for good authentic ARABIC PLATE.. then this is the place to visit...
Excellent shawarma....
I'm an Indian... u can get ur shawarma personalized...
Just too juicy yummy and good quality, hygienic and good personalized service...
Good for take away too...!!
Go here for the shawarmas as they truly stand out. They do it in the thin bread and then crispy fry it so people with the Lebanese shawarma liking don't enjoy it much. The BBQ was a hit and miss. Kababs were good but the chicken and meat were dry and too chewy. Again shawarmas are the reason to go here again
Food is great, one should really try shawarma and mix grill nice ambiance and good service. In ajman one of best Arabic restaurant. resonable price and tasty food.
One of the best Arabic Restaurants I've visited in Ajman with its bright airy interiors, exquisite and authentic Arabic food comparable to a fine dining restaurant with quiet and efficient service by the staff - it checks all the boxes for a restaurant you'd like to visit over again. Over the last two times that I've visited here, I've tried the chicken shawarma (must try!), Mixed grill plate, Grilled chicken served with Arabic bread on the side all which were delicious and worth more its economical prices. If you go to Ajman, make this one of your must-visit restaurants.
Best Shawarma (may be) in town, menu is not so great but generally all items are very good. Most of the time we did shawarma take away but on few occasions we tried BBQ, it's mouthwatering. Staff attitude is very dry and they always refused to deliver though free home delivery is published everywhere.
All 6 of us decided to head to this joint for lunch. The chicken livers sauteed in coriander, lemon and I don't know what were delicious. The shawarmas were great, had to order a couple more to go. The tabouleh spot on, just the right amount of lemon, oil. The mutabbel was excellent. Service was fine. Perhaps a little known place that should be better known. 160 dhs later to feed the whole hungry clan. Well worth a visit.
Monthly friend reunion held here - recommended by a Palestinian friend who had visited with her family. Was a bit skeptical after reading the reviews on here, but everyone has a different experience based on various factors.
Our service was not as bad as some of the reviews below but wasn't the best service I've received. Place was not so crowded but all the waiters huddle in one corner and no matter what you do it seems impossible to get their attention. One of the filipina's walked by me but failed to hear me say excuse me 3 times as she did - selective hearing maybe?
We ordered:
Fattah with meat - first time to try this dish and it was very yummy!
Chicken Shawarma Arabic - average
Mix Grill Bab Al Harra - average
Tabouleh - didn't try
The bread they serve along with it is cold, and when asked for warm bread the same one came back.
