This QE2 hotel is now a restaurant as well.
You can stay here and enjoy the amazing food as well.
They serve very authentic English style cuisines.
Though prices are on the higher side but it's all about a great experience along with English history and culture.
Been here a couple of times & would love to go back again. The afternoon tea & their set dinner experience were surprisingly beyond my expectations. Would love to try them again hopefully as an in-house guest. Dress code is a must but the staff are very forthcoming
If you are interested in see history and English food this is the place! The boat QE2 is an hotel now where you can stay and dine. Here is Queen Grill and classic restaurant with classic food ! The menu offers some choices of starters, mains and deserts all packed in set menu of your choice. I took 3 courses menu that included a very softer and fine foie gras, venison loin in dark chocolate sauce that was tasty and cheese plate all with a good prosecco! A very English experience indeed! Something to try different in Dubai!
A unique place to dine indeed! one step inside takes you to a whole different era! Tried the set menu and wasn’t disappointed! The open deck is still not open so do call in advance as its opening is just around the corner!
Old school but cool
The restaurant reminds of watching 80’s movie scenes with cruise.
The interior and ambience is rich and most importantly well maintained for the time it been cruising.
The menu is well priced for a set menu and it was straightforward with out any twist.
Everything in the menu tasted good , lobster bisque , cauliflower soup , foie Gras, and beef cooked to perfection.
Must try the venue for an experience...
All the best ... will be there to try other places
Cheers
It was a beautiful evening and a lovely occasion of a close friend's birthday. He chose QE2 for a poignant evening and we all loved the Queen's Grill's historical unique setting and the fantastic culinary voyage that followed.
Ambience-4.5/5.

This was my first time after almost four decades to dine inside a Liner and I became very nostalgic. They have maintained the original sealiner feel with only some minor tuning to convert it into fine dining experience. The chairs were superbly comfortable for long dining course and to pass a lovely evening.
Our young south African server was exceptionally well behaved and knowledgeable. We had lovely tete-a-tetes with him about many things , also about the menu and future plans of the restaurant. At present they don't serve Ala karte menu but shortly they would. He knew when to interrupt and when to stay away- fine art this is and much appreciated.
We had red wines and Bailey's irish appertiff for myself. Great ones all of them.
Given the limited options now, we naturally gravitated towards the Non vegetarian tasting menu.
Started with a cute amuse bouche. For the soup , all of us opted for the Lobster Bisque- that's with a pan roasted scalllop and fennel emulsion. I liked it. 5/5. Specially the soup portion was thick and with a strong flavour of lobster to balance the blandness of scallops.
For the starter I had the Pan seared Foie gras- I would rate it as 6/5, for the magnificent duck liver. It had cherry and pear gel, compressed fresh pear, aged balsamic reduction - all of them were quite unimportant after taking the seared liver slab. It was like heaven melting in your mouth. The accompanying brioche toast was nothing to talk about , on the other hand- The At.mosphere in burj khalifa, killed it. We had to order it as ala karte again for our friends.
There were two more options. Of that the slow cooked Salmon had mixed verdict from my friend. The other option had a composite compote pigeon, chicken, quail and Rabbit. Interesting proposition.
For the mains, I went for the Fish -baked Pollock, courgetti and courgette puree, peas, broad beans, and fish veloute sauce. It would be 4/5 from me. Much too bland for enjoying. I will love a fish with a stronger character in the flesh-we are river fish eaters!
Next we had a small palate cleanser type serbet as a pre-dessert. Nice to get recharged for the desserts.
All three of them were superb creations. I had the Burnt butter apple and almond tart, with caramel sauce and tahiti vanilla ice cream. This was marvellous. Much acclaimed in other reviewer's write ups also. It's a must try.
Finally the birthday greeting special dish was supremely plated - not run of the mill at all. We loved it from our heart and stomach.
In between we had multiple refills of the drinks. A truly overwhelming experience for us. Very near to our house- just the other side of the road. Rare to find such good service too.
They have a brilliant small but cute bar too where they have a Gin tasting menu - may be we should have a go at that later.
The upper deck was just beside it and we enjoyed some pleasant walks along that to savour the fulfilling after dinner moments watching over the nightline of the city.
Very well recommended.

We came here for dinner. We were positively surprised, the food, the service, the atmosphere was all on point. The portion of the food is just right and the presentation and taste was excellent. Really recommend it for fine dinning in a luxurious historical ship.
Went to queens grill for dinner and had the pre opening tasting menu witch was just out of this world, the cauliflower soup was beautiful, then i had the game terrine witch was also just as lovely.
The chicken main course was cooked perfectly and full of flavor and to finish with lemon meringue with the burnt butter ice cream was just out if this world.
Would definitely go back again for the food and to meet chef ramasamy and murry .
We were three friends celebrating one's birthday. The booking and arrangements was made by one of us and we looked frward to a lovely evening. The entire QE2 experience was fantastic- the ship, the museum and the restaurant.
We were looking forward to a fine dining experience and were a tad uncomfortable in wearing a mandatory jacket in the humid and sultry conditions but all of it disappeared as we stepped into the ship, moved about the museum and finally entered the restaurant. The first and last word is the delectable and very high quality personal service and the easy yet effcient manners of the staff members.
I had a wonderful dining experience starting with the Amuse Bouche and then the Lobster Bisque. The Soup was hot, creamy with a strong marine/ lobster smell (which was nice and full) and I enjoyed it with accompaniment of bread and butter. I had also ordered a glass of Rose Wine which set the mood of the evening.
For starters, had the Scottish Salmon.... delicious and thoroughly enjoyed it. I selected the Angus Beef Tenderloin, rare medium done and entirely satisfied with the dish. The beef was perfectly matched to the accompaniment fine, lace like potato fries and vegetables.... delectable. The wine helped in washing it down quite generously. One of my friends had ordered the Pan Seared Foi Gras in the starters and highly recommended it, so we ordered a separate dish of the same with the main course. The Foi Gras was beautifully soft and buttery on the inside and had a slightly firmer and carbonised surface, wonderfully done.
The pre dessert was a revelation as it was light and really helped in cleaning up the lingering meat and fish tastes in the mouth. The dessert was the best part and the Burnt Butter apple and almond tart was simply mind blowing. and wasily the hihlight of the dinner for me.
The servings were well spaced in time with a brief introduction and information on the ingredients and cooking by the waiter and we throughly enjoyed it. He was attentive and careful and seemed to enjoy what he was doing whihc was delightful experience for us too. In fact I consulted him on what would be the best combination for starters and main course and his advice was very appropriate.
Lastly, we were escorted to the deck which gave us a beautiful panoramic view of the Dubai skyline and the port side and gave me a much needed space for a couple of cigarettes.
I had a tremendous evening and would highly recommend the restaurant and the entire experience.
One of my most amazing experiences is visit to @qe2dubai fabulous permanently docked ship which is real historical place, heritage.
🔹Food & Drinks. Only there u have opportunity to try dishes cooked by original recipes from menu of those times when QE2 was a floating hotel. Unforgettable tastes, quality & assortment will make you feel VIP person in a very luxury place. Smoked beef apple tartare melts in mouth & impresses with juiciness & lightness. Beef consommé, beef cannelloni subdues with saturation of aroma & flavors. Beef tenderloin, braised cheek delights with softness, freshness & tenderness. Assorted deserts will complete your gourmet experience & will gift u the feeling of full satisfaction.
🔹Service & Ambience. As for service, staff is trained very well. They are polite, courteous, friendly, very obliging, have good knowledge of menu, drinks & history of a ship. As for ambience, they keep original design. As it is a hotel, they have great choice of different rooms, but I’ve never been staying there, so, can’t say a lot. All ship equipped with a huge number of bars & restaurants, which are outside and inside, musical halls, shops & even cinema. Sea view from each window and deck strengthen all emotions.
🔹Location & Parking. Little bit far, but it worth to spend that time for road trip as to visit this amazing venue. They have huge parking.
🔹Rating. 5 out of 5
Much nicer experience than I expected. Very good food. Good service. It was cool to walk around the ship and see some of the other areas. Only 5 out of 13 restaurants are open as of now, so I expect this place to get more popular once the weather improves.
My husband brought me here for a surprise dinner date and wow the vibe is so cool. Walking through Queen Elizabeth 2 and everything looks like it's straight from 1969 except minor changes. Which is greatl, it's retained that cool Titanic vibe. The food was great. It's a set tasting menu. My husband had the Lobster bisque, scottish salmon, beef wagyu and the apple pie. I had the cauliflower soup (4) beetroot and goat cheese salad(4.5), chicken with truffle (5)and the lemon meringue. (4.5) it's super fancy and definitely worthy of a special occasion. They also played my heart will go on haha and that was the highlight for me.
I had the pleasure of dining at the restaurant last night. Great ambience and exceptionally high quality food. The level of service and knowledge of the menu by staff members was outstanding. Definitely one of the best fine dining experiences available in Dubai. A must visit if you want to re-live history!
Very enjoyable evening. Our barman at the Gin bar was very knowledgeable about the history of the QE2 and really helped to make it a great evening. Food was fantastic. The wine list needs to be written more clearly and the waiter needs training on the list as a few mistakes were made. However, this was later dealt with very well. A great nostalgic trip.
Been here in QE-2 pavilion for watching Brazil Vs Mexico....

Amazing venue for special occasions, cozy and romantic setting, authentic and such an old charm. The food is high quality and the wine is well priced. The staffs are amazing, they are very accomodating, makes you feels like home. Recommended!
Feeling so good to be onboard an iconic vessel. 5stars for what has been well preserved. Loved the deserts. Salmon is very well cooked. Been with my British friend/mentor who's Grand Father was once Doctor on that vessel.

One of the best dining experiences in Dubai. The setting is nostalgic, classical and the heart of days gone by. The restaurant is still as it was in 1970 and the food is anything but. Well cooked, well balanced and well worth every Dirham. Arrive early explore the ship and then enjoy your meal. The service is exceptional and the team are well trained.

Love the idea. Having food served in a massive boat was a first for me. Everything was really impressive. Dinner started promising with the perfect Gin & Tonic that hit all the right notes. I liked the idea of the 1969 tasting menu but I didn’t see the link. Food was good & the wine pairing was done very well. I wish them good luck.

At a time when Dubai’s dining scene is seeing trends of high-spec interiors and experimental menus, The Queen’s Grill has gone for an altogether simpler approach, by opting to soak up grand tradition. There are two menus: a six-course tasting menu for Dhs375, or a vegetarian six course tasting menu for Dhs275. Four of the courses you pick from a selection of two soups, three starters, three mains and three deserts, while the amuse bouche and sorbet come compliments of the chef. While The Queen’s Grill isn’t the kind of restaurant you would dine at on a weekly basis, thanks to great service, top quality dishes and rich history, it’s definitely one to add to your culinary Dubai bucket list
