This is a sublime place: service (friendly and transparent waiter Christian), feel &mood (inc the exotic latin music in the background), presentation of the food, but perhaps most importantly - the food we had here is out of this world.
We tried the seafood rice - rich and sensationally flavourful.
The slow cooked lamb and pumpkin was an outstanding dish: so tender and light and the coriander sauce was a perfect match.
But what stood out really was the desert: whatever u do, if u visit here, do not miss out on the Suspiro Peruvian Ice Cream. I’ll just say it tastes like a velvety cloud of heavenly taste bursts...
We’re definitely coming back here.
Lovely venue, delicious flavors, friendly staff. expensive place..
We love the venue. it's very well done up place.. They have two sections- one downstairs & the bar lounge upstairs.
The menu was difficult to understand. But, the staff was very helpful in getting us through the menu and help us select the right items. They had some fantastic vegetarian options as well.
Food was really freash. I loved their cocktails, I don't remember the exact name but it was a whisky based cocktail with caramel. We had lampchops and prawns, yummy...
Amazing service and food! All of our dishes were flavorful & delicious. The staff really went above and beyond with service - specifically Imran & Jenny! Highly recommend the beef tenderloin & the pineapple dessert**
Lima is one of the best restaurants around for Fine dining. Tried Peruvian Cuisine for the first time and the dishes that I chose here were really yumm. Relaxed atmosphere and very pretty interiors. So ambient. Great place for occassions, dates and weekend family eatouts too. The corn cake that was served as an accompaniment with the beef dish I ordered was a surprise to my taste buds-just loved it. Very friendly and patient staff.Keep up the good Work, Lima! Will be back for more.
The interior was very catchy. The arrangement of the dining area inside and outside suited the whole atmosphere and appeared great.
The cleanliness and maintenance of the interior area of floors, tables, chairs was in good condition. The tables were laid off well. The speed of service in terms of placing an order was appropriate. The availability of waiters was approachable . Mr.Imran was very friendly and courteous. He served us with full gesture and love. The presentation of the food was more than palatable. It was succulent, mouthwatering and very delicious.
PRATYUSH GUPTA......
City walk truly has some hidden jewels in its bag alright. With an outdoor seating in the beautiful weather that DXB has got right now, and with some wonderful #Peruvian dishes to try, Lima is a definite cracker of a place. Word of advice, don’t go and try the typical lamb rack, and other beaten track stuff. Go ahead for the suggestions given by those hosting you, because trust me, they give some real good suggestions (for cocktails as well).
Peruvian cuisine @ LIMA Dubai.
It's a completely different sensation on the taste buds. Yellow chillies, tiger milk, pumpkin puree, rosemary infused roasted chicken, freshest yellowtail, melt in your mouth octopus and soft lamb - and we still couldn't do the duck. The spices are mild and natural, the food inspires pure joy. The service is outstanding.
Cost for a couple approximately AED 600 (including beverages).
It was my first time trying the Peruvian cruise. Had the business lunch. Food was good. Steak was cooked properly and tasted good.
Had the seabass ceviche, signature octopus and beef short ribs for supper, washed down with excellent cocktails. The ceviche beautiful, fresh fish and not too acidic with the ‘tiger’s milk’ dressing. The octopus was so tender and served on lovely mash with quinoa mixed in the mash, and the short ribs were to die for, bones removed if just a tad too rich in flavor. Will have to return to try other dishes
