You know that feeling of excitement when you stumble upon a true gem? This is how I felt when I entered Around the Block. We were at Wasl 51 to visit another popular breakfast spot which was full. Hungry and slightly irritated, we got to Around the Block and I'm so glad we did. The place is easy, bright and airy - it would make for a great co-working space.
And the food - I wish I had waited to take a picture - but I don't even think that would do justice.
We had the Portobello, Cheese & Egg Brioche which was soft, and so flavorful. We also ordered the Truffle Mac and Cheese - which was perfect. Crisp on the top and perfectly cheesy on the inside.
We also ordered a classic orange juice and an amazing Mango Smoothie.
Everything was so fresh, so delicious. You need to try it for yourself.
