We attended Koi's masterclass on sushi making with a group of friends and we must admit that it was one of the best experiences we've had in Abu Dhabi. Besides creating and enjoying our makis, the three hours were full of great instruction, handy tips and a rare insight into a restaurant kitchen. We felt truly welcomed and attended to throughout the whole course. Thank you so much for offering this awesome feature!
Had an amazing brunch on 3rd August as ever the food was heavenly, staff gracious and location perfect.
The food is more than we expected good and Staffs are too nice. At first I thought I need choose from the menu but actually they just provide everything from the menu one by one. I hardly finish the whole menu. But each dish is so tasty and I can not stop trying everything. This brunch is a must try for Japanese food in town.
I went here for dinner with colleagues. We ordered a variety of tempura, shushi and sashimi. Eveything was extremely delicious.
I ordered Robata Master Kobe for mains. The meat was of grade 9+ which is as good as it can get. By the time my main arrived, I was already full as I had lots of sushi, sashimi and tempura by then and was not sure if I could finish this. But the meat just melts in the mouth. I finished it in no time, extremely tender for a medium-well done and very delicious.

Koi is an international brand built on the foundation of world-class contemporary Japanese cuisine. I had a table booking with Koi for a special occasion. I must say that the team was rather helpful and accommodating when it came to my request for the waiters to sing when they brought the mini-cake for my husbands mini surprise birthday. They had informed me that only one person usually comes with the cake to say happy birthday but when I explained that it is always nicer when its a bunch to come along with the cake- they tried to please me and they did. However, I do believe that all restaurants should have this kind of style of presenting for special occasions as it is more effective - plus customer satisfaction is a reflection of the feedback and the satisfaction of the restaurant. In terms of our food, the food was good, but I can't say that it was wow, but it wasn't bad either. I wanted to give a rating of 3.5 but that is not possible with the current rating system and I also decided on a 4 as I also considered their service and the execution of my request, and giving them a 3 for the food would not be fair. One more thing is that I think that in terms of the price of the items, it's a bit on the pricey side. We ate mainly appetizers and sushi and the bill was about 600 AED, which is honestly kind of too much. However, in general we were satisfied.

Food was amazing.
Went during winter. The outdoor seating with the view was magnificent. The ambience is great and cozy. The food is great too and the staff were super friendly.
It was an absolute stunner experience. The food in particular is very high standard. A lot of detailing and Finess. We were hosted by the Head Chef himself. Chef Pushpender recommended combinations of the signature Appetisers and Rolls. Short ribs and Black Cod was beautifully cooked. It was an ideal dinner date with my best half.
Loved the ambiance and food. The peppercorn fillet mignon is perfectly cooked and very well seasoned, creamy rock shrimp is so good as well and the sushi too.
The food is outstanding and quality of servics is excellent. It's not the first timd for me to visit them and absolutely will come again. Highly recommended.

Upscale Japanese dining. Very fine plate presentation and quality of ingredients & preparation. Overall quality is consistent in all my visits. The prices are high but comparable to similar level restaurants in Abu Dhabi. Restaurant ambiance is great. Compared to other Abu Dhabi restaurants, Koi is a 5 star place.

We went here for my Birthday and went for the Gochiso Brunch at Night. Absolutely amazing food and service. The sushi is incredible. If you like 5 star Japanese food this is the place, also very reasonably priced for what you get. Shame there is not one in the UK.

Easily one of the best brunches in Abu Dhabi. From the fresh sashimi, to the free flowing sake. to the tempura shrimps, to the salads, honestly I could go on. In my several visits, I have yet to come across a single misstep at Koi. From being greeted by your server with a chilled towel to dessert and final call, everything moves flawlessly. The service is excellent, and the prices fair for what you are getting. I cannot recommend Koi highly enough.

I had Friday brunch and it was great. Nice interior and mood, very friendly staffs, much better than expected. Recommend reservation, quite crowded. We thought it was buffet but actually they served all of food on the menu and you can ask more.

We wnet to koi for Friday brunch which opens 12:30 to 16:00..it is nice expect the miso soup is a little salty and tempura is very different from the Japinese one.
