I love French Cousin, but sometimes it’s so hard to get authentic French food here in Abu Dubai, but this place has it! I had the Duck Confit and it was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, just perfect. I usually don’t like the sauces they put on the side, but this sauce was brilliant! Not sure what it was, but it complimented the plate perfectly, it didn’t over power the dick meat at all. The restaurant itself is in the heart of the city, so parking was a pain, and the decor in the restaurant was very outdated, but the overall experience was great. Thank you to our waiter Buddy for being so cheerful and helpful. I’m definitely going back 😋
The food is amazing. Very authentic French restaurant with unbelievably great food. Every dish we ordered was so goood. The rib eye steak was the best I had in UAE, far better than some of the famous globally known steakhouses in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. The service was fantastic! This place is a hidden gem!
We love to dine here. Friendly staff as always. Food is always tastes good and the only French restaurant in town that authenticity is closest to real French cuisine.

I read the reviews before coming and I have to say it is even better than what I read, the only thing, is that when you order duck, just tell them how cooked you want it, other than that, everything is more than perfect!! Onion soup is delicious, Beef bourgougnon is the best. House wine 10/10. Creme brulee and tart tartin are just perfect! Service is also very good. So happy that we came!! Will come back very often 😊. Portions are generous
The best French brasserie in town at a very reasonable price. They have one of the best steaks in the city as well. Great food, great service!
Hidden gem. Great centralised location. Food is amazing, especially the steak! Highly recommend this place to anybody that is looking for a pocket friendly environment with good food. Manager Buddy is a delite. Very friendly and kind. All staff are attentive. Thanks team

The onion soup is amaizing, it made me have a memory of a coffee in Paris eating with my mother, and the scargots just perfect.

The venue is very dated, although I think it’s probably past the point of doing anything about it and this becomes part of it’s charm. Onto the food. It is very good. Basic, good quality french fayre, although I’m British and there is plenty of cross over with our cuisine. Decent veg, simply cooked with a meat dish dish and some form of potato. I’ve eaten here twice recently and been very happy on both occasions. It makes a nice change to sample what many would consider a good home cooked meal in a restaurant environment. I shall most certainly be eating here again

If you are looking for a French Cuisine in the heart of the city, you may opt to visit them.
The place looks classic and seems like you are back in time on Audrey Hepburn era.
From chandelier to seating makes it more romantic especially for couples who want to have a great time together.
They have jukebox which you can choose what song to play and I find it cool.
On the day of our visit, they offer us the Brittany Menu and tried their regular menu as well. Here are some of the food we tried:
Salade de Foies de Volaille
It is a pan fried chicken liver salad.
This is the first time I tried chicken liver on salad and this just gives me an idea to try it also at home.
It taste good and compliment well with the green salad.
Bisque de Crevettes du Golfe
It is a gulf shrimp veloute or you may call shrimp soup.
I am always a fan of soup, for me this is my comfort food so when I tried this, I fell in love with it the second I tasted it.
It is smooth and creamy on the mouth.
Saumon Fume et Garnitures
It is a smoked salmon with garnishes.
I always love Salmon in any form it is, raw or cooked or even garnish.
This is a recommended salad for me.
Stuffed Sausage with Fries and Salad.
For me this is a typically hotdog which is bigger in size.
I think men would love this along side with a beer as it is a great appetizer I guess.
Creme Brulee.
It is scorched on top and it is not that taste sweet which I much prefer.
I also ordered the Calamars Farcis a la Basquiase which is stuffed squid in Barquise Style.
I love that the squid is serve fresh and stuffed in a good way.
They have wide variety of region wines as well which is perfect for your meal.
Over all, I love my visit in La Beaujolais because they offer exquisite and fine service.
The staff are awesome and very friendly.
They accommodate all our needs and open to questions asked to them.
المطعم يعتبر من أقدم المطاعم في ابوظبي! جوه و ديكوراته جميله و هاديه و فيها لمسه عراقة! الاكل لذيذ و طيب. يجب الانتباه لانه بعض الوجبات تطبخ بالنبيذ و الكحول! طلبت قطعة رب آي ستيك مع بطاطا مهروسة و سلطه. الطعم كان رائع جدا و الاسعار تعتبر منطقيه!
