This is one of the best Indian fine restaurants in Abu Dhabi. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very cozy and nice. It is suitable for celebration but I think you need to reserve before. The food is delicious but the prices are bit high. Anyway it worth to try. I really like it.

List limited food service miserable. Forced to eat from the choosers chef. I would not advise this restaurant

Most disappointing and terrible experience. We called on Tamba for a brunch booking to celebrate my son’s birthday. Mr. Raj (host) gave us a booking for 2pm for brunch. We were told they have brunch till 4pm. We called to inform we were delayed as we lived 40 kms away. We reached there at 2:45pm. On reaching we were told by Mr. Raj that brunch is no longer available. Even though the timing was till 4pm and there were others who were still having brunch! They had over an hour to entertain us as per our booked arrangement but they kept insisting that we should go for another set buffet which did not suit us. Basically charge us more for something we didn’t want. We requested Mr. Raj to serve us whatever was available in the brunch menu, which was turned down by Mr. Raj and the chef. We were told that the chef was busy with the “after 4pm” arrangements. Surprisingly with 1 hour still to go. When we asked what would they service customers who were having brunch and had still an hour to eat! No answer.<br/>Finally when we heard some other tables complaining, we decided to leave.<br/>By the way, Mr. Raj had vanished conveniently and had shown no responsibility to atleast apologize for the inconvenience. <br/>They served us water as we waited for 30 mins during this entire episode and charged us almost 35-40 AED for the water we didn’t order! The least they could have done was not charge us for their incompetence, unprofessional behavior and negligence.<br/>Mr. Raj, it would have been professional to atleast come and apologize and not charge for something that you and your team messed up on our special day!<br/>Finally we decided to leave without eating.<br/>Never going there again nor going to recommend this when they don’t care for clients.

Metals and related concepts were mentioned in various early Vedic age texts in India. The Rigveda already uses the Sanskrit term Ayas (metal). The Indian cultural and commercial contacts with the Near East and the Greco-Roman World enabled an exchange of metallurgic sciences. With six significant ages: Lower Paleolithic, Middle Paleolithic, Upper Paleolithic, Mesolithic/Neolithic, Bronze Age, and Iron Age, India evidently had no Bronze Age, as bronze implements are scarce to be found in India. So far as Southern India is concerned it is an admitted fact that the Neolithic period, during which time stone implements and weapons were used, passed directly into the iron age, as no copper or bronze weapons have been found in Southern India. Old cromlechs in various parts of Southern India have been found to contain iron weapons. The southern bronzes of pre-historic times were objects used for ornamental purposes and do not include weapons. In Northern India, however, including the Central Provinces, copper tools and weapons have been discovered in several places besides two in Baluchistan which may be regarded archaeologically as a part of India. So, when the World was transiting from the Neolithic Period to Bronze, Indian had its own Copper Age; in the more significant part of Northern India, a copper age intervened between the Neolithic period and the Iron age. Copper – Tamba (in Hindi) has been a crucial and distinguished part of India since ages. Let it be a ritual or ornamental use, Copper has found its inevitability in every occasion. Until today, numerous Indian traditional and conscious families in India store the water in copper vessels and eat food on copper plates; Copper has excellent detoxifying abilities.

The vibe of the place is so good, dark dim lights and warm smiles. You may need to have reservations to this place, they can get busy for dinners. Menu was tricky, if its your first visit, but Sunil was definitely helpful, he helped us choosing our drinks and food. He was very friendly, nice and kind, he knows his product very well so it become so natural taking about each of it according to our desire. All appetizers that we try we’re all delightful in the palette, we had some avocado with tandoor shrimps, very tasty, a little crunch. Chicken 65 are like chicken pieces, served in a sizzling plate, flavorful. And the Delhi plate, its cold when served, smokey flavor, so good! For the mains, we had lamb chop teekha and chicken tikka, both were authentic and excellent! We also had few drinks, but the Tamarind Margarita was my fave. We’ll definitely come back soon and bring some friends over. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Enjoyed an exquisite culinary experience at Tamba for just AED 200! The appetizers were all amazing and the main course beat it all. Both the cocktails and the mocktails was refreshing and had an interesting taste. Their desserts were scrumptious and eye catchy as well. The service and the ambience was beyond expectations.

Simply put, Food and service were amazing. <br/>We ordered:<br/>Bites:<br/>Spicy calamari which was so yummy as we finished it all within seconds.<br/><br/>Main Dishes:<br/>Lamb Biryani. Added Nan bread. It was amazing and the spices were great.<br/>Smoked Chicken, Tomato Gravy and Black Pepper Burrata. The chicken was so nice and tender while the gravy was beyond amazing. I loved this one a lot.<br/><br/>Drinks:<br/>Virgin Mojito - Passion Fruit<br/>Jagger Jam Pot (I thought of trying this one and it turned to be very nice)<br/><br/>Staff was so friendly from the moment we stepped in. Our waiter was so nice. He would be one of the main reasons, of course besides the delicious food, we can think of dining there again.

Tamba is famous for its innovative dishes in Abu Dhabi. That’s one place, that is not your regular restaurant. Be it their cocktails, food, ambiance or service, everything will exceed your expectations. <br/>We went for the lazy brunch which was worth every penny. We did end up ordering things from a la carte as well, because one cannot leave Tamba without having their snails in sambal or the KFC- Kolhapuri Fried Chicken. <br/>The lazy lunch is at 295 with alcohol. <br/>You have the most amazing menu and all their special dishes in it like the root veg chips, Delhi mix, lamb seekh, fried idli, grilled prawns, stuffed mushrooms, masala rub wagyu and lamb shank. All of these are must haves. If you’re looking to just enjoy your day and unwind with some amazing crowd this is the place you need to head to. <br/>***********************************************<br/>So we went for the Kings of the Wings offer however, we had a look at the menu and went big. The offer is just for 99. And the portion is amazing! Everything about Tamba was just outstanding. Delicious Food, Amazing Hospitality and Friendly Staff. Their isn’t a single dish we can fault. Also, do NOT miss the cocktails! <br/>Tamba has to be up there in the list of your places for any Special Occasion & Date Nights!<br/>Mentioning all the dishes ! Because their isn’t a single thing we didn’t like. <br/>-Delhi mix - it’s dahi Bhalla twisted to level max. You won’t recognize it. It tastes better than anywhere possible. <br/>- snail in Malabar sambal - snails are such a different thing to have. And we tried it for the first time. Can’t wait to have more! That sambal will come in your dreams. <br/>- spicy chicken wings - they come with a hot sauce which is prepared by the chef and it’s not something you have tried anywhere. The wings are spicy as they should be and so so delicious! <br/>- half avocado with smoked prawns - smoked to perfection and the healthy option if you’re looking for it! <br/>- king crab puri - it’s not your regular puri, it’s one bite of explosion of flavours in your mouth. Perfectly spiced. <br/>- seared salmon -salmon in that soy it just melts in your mouth. Must try <br/>- seekh roll - don’t think I have the name right, but it’s one dish you can ask for. It’s a lamb wrap. The flavours would make your mouth sing. <br/>For cocktails we had Goan fog cutter and the kiplings tribute. Both were something you won’t try anywhere else! Must try their cocktails. We like rum and gin so we ordered those. <br/>For desserts we had - <br/>-Mumtaz - this is for you non chocolate lovers. It’s in rose and pistachio. <br/>-The fatal attraction - it’s profiteroles with Nutella and salted caramel popcorn and chantilly cream. Have it if you’re a Nutella and caramel lover. <br/>- The break up - it’s a break up you want to have! The drop of that chocolate and sorbet. Nothing like it! A must must must have!

As the UAE completes its sterilization drive in the battle against the covid-19 pandemic, Abu Dhabi has started re-opening restaurants… but how is the actual experience?. We found out with a weekend dining visit to one of the capital’s hippest modern Indian joints – Tamba!. Firstly, our safety – because we haven’t been through months of lockdown just to run out carelessly at the first opening!
Myfootprintsinuae
What I missed the most amid pandemic is certainly the restaurant dining; however, I’m glad that my favorite Indian-fusion-restaurant in the capital Tamba has started the home delivery service. So, I can still enjoy my favorite Tamba’s signature dishes from the comfort of my home. They’ve got a special delivery menu; offering a wide range of contemporary Indian dishes.

Innovative cuisine. Had tried their vegetarian options and was not disappointed. It is a little overpriced though.

We had been for a birthday dinner of my wife last evening. I must say it was an amazing experience. Starting with ambience, was very cozy and comfortable with dim lights around along with some good music, was a perfect start for a romantic date evening.<br/><br/>Since I was very much interested to try out their whole menu, so we preferred the culinary journey, must say was the best choice. Its a set menu prepared by TAMBA itself, mentioned in their menu. It had 6 starters/appetizers, 2 main courses followed by 2 deserts. All 6 starters were brilliant and tickled our test buds well. Main courses were 48hrs, slow cooked lamb shank in rogan sauce with assorted bread. Must say the best rogan gosht ever had, , the lamb was so tender that it was just melting in our mouth. It was followed by chicken biryani which was perfect on its spices and flovour. Then came the desert, where they manged to put a sweet birthday wish for my wife which i had asked for. The desert Fatal Attraction was amazing, which was bought on our table to celebrate the birthday with their amazing presentation. The other desert The Bride was very tangy and sweet.<br/><br/>At the end a special mention to DHRUV who was a server for our table. He was fab at his job and did his best to make our experience amazing. Thanks for the amazing experience.

After wanting to visit Tamba for the last three years, got a chance to go for dinner. It truly did not disappoint the hype I had in my mind. Me and my husband truly had one of the most finest dining experience we’ve ever had with one of the most beautiful ambiance, great service & amazing food. <br/><br/>For almost all the items we ordered, we went by the recommendation of the staff. We started off with Delhi Mix which was presented nicely, and which also tasted so rich and delicious. Next from the appetizers were Chicken 65 which was mind blowing. The sauce was too good and it was cooked perfectly. Last one was the Tiger Prawns which was so meaty it almost tasted like chicken which we both loved. Even though I’m not a seafood lover, I absolutely enjoyed it. The sauce and the Pechay leaf was a perfect combination to the Prawns. <br/>For the mains, we had Smoked Chicken with Tomato Gravy which is similar to Butter Chicken. The chicken was perfectly cooked and it paired so well with the most fragrant Biryani Rice I have ever had. Orka Kurkure was one of the most unique dishes I’ve heard or even seen. Being an Orka lover, I certainly enjoyed it to my fullest. My husband who’s a seafood enthusiast, went for the King Crab Legs and he loved it. It was fairly easy to scoop the meat out and it was one of the highlighting dishes for him. <br/>We also had Dragon Flower and Passion Fruit Pattaka for the drinks. Both were extremely refreshing. <br/>Last but definitely not the least, the dessert Indecent Proposal was definitely one of the most beautiful presentation I’ve seen for a sweet. It was so beautiful that I didn’t feel like eating it. It was so light and flavorful with a mix of Rose and Lemon Sorbet. The Break Up is an overload of rich chocolaty goodness which is every chocolate lover’s dream. <br/><br/>I cannot emphasize enough on how gorgeous the interiors and ambience are. It’s beyond perfect for an anniversary or birthday dinner. The cutlery and the atmosphere is so chic, sophisticated and romantic yet has a traditional Indian touch too. Mr Shan & Mr Jocelyn catered so much to our needs and provided us with one of the best service topping the whole experience.

I just loved the cocktails here, they were so #unique and tasty and not the type that are just filled with ice and mixers. I tried the lamb seekh and loved the beetroot chips which were used for garnishing. I celebrates my birthday here with my spouse and it was truly an enjoyable experience. Staff- 5/5 Ambience-5/5. The most that I loved is the personal touch wherein you have to tie a bell making a wish at the end of your meal which was truly beautiful. I would recommend them to consider taking personalized photos which would be an added advantage. Overall 4/5

The overall staff are well trained and courteous.<br/><br/>The place is kept very clean and neat like a fine dining should be.<br/><br/>The food overall is good.<br/><br/>The music was a little louder than my liking (my personal preference).

With the best desserts in the city, an array of timeless signature dishes and many new menu additions Tamba is always a great place to dine. Add in the fantastic service and stylish decor and it's an all round winner.<br/><br/>Add Tamba to your 'must-try' list and don't let its mall location put you off - it's fully licensed and has a good atmosphere. The Indian-inspired cuisine is top notch, make sure to leave room for dessert because they are all worth sampling but definitely try my favourite, the chocolaty deliciousness that is the Break-up.<br/><br/>5* cuisine and 5* service<br/><br/>(4/5 instead of 5/5 due to having to park in the mall and walk through it to get to the restaurant, there is valet but only accessible from one side of the mall via the city.)<br/><br/>Read more about Tamba in previous posts anexpatabroad.com/?s=tamba

FOOD IS OVERPRICED WITH TERRIBLY LOW QUANTITY... DRINKS WAS FULL OF ICE, AFTER 3 SIP DRINK IS FINISHED WITH GLASS FULL OF ICE... A PEICE OF ADVICE TO MANAGEMENT IS INSTEAD OF GIVING FANACY NAME TO SNACKS MAKE THEM TASTY... NOTHING IS SO SPECIAL EXCEPT NAME OF DISHES... I DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO FODDIES... U CAN GO TO THIS PLACE IF YOU BELIEVE IN SHOW OFF.. After you eat the food every Indian will think.. Ha ha ha Aaj to Kat gaya... Cheers

A great place to make any occasion memorable.<br/>Food is great be it à la carte or lazy brunch menu.<br/>My favorite is the ‘Lazy brunch’ an experience which will continue by its name. Amazing Fusion food/ starter plus beverages plus unique desserts.<br/>It’s worth every penny you spend and the staff is very courteous and professional.<br/>Live music was amazing. Kids friendly place where a “Wish Tree” is also present to add some more moments of smile.<br/>Over all select this place for a unique and tasty Indian food and very high end Indian dining.
Divya N
Had such a great experience at this place, the staff are great! Loved the food though it was definitely pricey. Would surely come back here again for the billionaire biryani and the seabream fish!
Manal Al Mukhaini
There were adults in the restaurant screaming and laughing loudly my husband and i were setting in pressure couldn't relaxed + guitar player playing in a high tune in the afternoon like 2:00pm keep playing even in praying time without respecting.<br/>We asked the staff in-charge to talk to those ppl to be a-bit quieter they ignored just told us if u want change the seat! And we had no chance only to change! <br/><br/>The food is typical indian nothing special about it only the presentation!<br/>the biryani was full of oil. The passion fruit was more of ice and water! The mushroom tikka was not good <br/>Over priced
Al-Asmar Kh
The worst biryani I had in my life, also very expensive for nothing , the prices are for highly class food but the food you can eat much better in any small Indian restaurant, now I believe that anyone can cook and have his own restaurant regardless of anything <br/>3 biryani and 1 butter chicken I paid 770 AED
Ayyshhhha
Chicken dosa rolls had a strong unpleasant smell + rancid. However the pumpkin paratha tasted delicious and highly recommended.

It was as amazing place. The music and ambience was good. The only problem was the air condition. It was too low.
Syna Dsouza
A great place for a chill night. The staff are extremely friendly and hospitable. They have interesting cocktail options. The menu is influenced by a modern and contemporary touch.
Prince Garg
Loved the ambience, the light settings were perfect, very friendly and polite staff, delicious food.<br/>Would definitely recommend couples who are looking for a romantic, peaceful dine out.<br/>Be ready to spend, this place is expensive and quantity is not worth the money but quality definitely is.

I would like to start by saying Kudos to Tamba! This Indian Fusion Fine Dining Restaurant and Bar is located on the 6th Floor of The HUB at WTC Mall, Abu Dhabi. The restaurant takes reservations which i would recommend you do over the weekend because it can get really busy. Since it was a weekday my friends, my wife and I were greeted by a Hostess who showed us to our table. As soon as you enter you are guided by an array of awards on various categories from 2016 to 2018. The ambience here is remarkable. The first thing that catches your eye are these 2 massive bells near the bar. The lighting here really sets in the mood and the seating is comfortable. Next to your seating is a small stool where one could keep all accessories away from the table (like mobiles, hand bags etc.). <br/><br/>I am skeptical about Fine Dining but Tamba simply nailed it. We were served by Steve and he was extremely courteous and humble. We started the evening with our drinks and appetizers. The Restaurant offer both Flat and Sparkling water. I generally prefer flat. For drinks we ordered German beer, Port and White Wine. As appetizers we ordered the following:<br/>Chicken 65 - 4.5/5 [The chicken is served covered in a special sauce]<br/>Crispy Calamari - 5/5 [The spices used to complement the calamari is amazing] [Ordered twice]<br/><br/>For our main course we ordered the following:<br/>Chicken Biryani - 4.5/5 [The taste of the masala is exhilarating] [Quantity for maximum two people] <br/>Lamb Kebab - 5/5 [This is a must have and it takes you to a different place] [Ordered twice]<br/>Chicken Tikka - 4/5<br/><br/>'Indecent Proposal' (not the movie) is a personal recommendation for dessert. If you have a sweet tooth and would like your senses to go on a rollercoaster then i would request you to try it. The presentation of this dessert itself is a mystical experience. <br/><br/>The Ambience really sets the mood such that you are not distracted by your surrounding and that you can enjoy the food and the company you are with.<br/>Ambience - 4.5/5<br/>Service - 4.5/5<br/><br/>This is Fine Dining and so it will be pricey. So is it worth the money? I leave that for you to decide.
William Fryson
I came to this restaurant by recommendation and I absolutely loved it! The place is beautiful and the food is amazing. Raji (I hope I spelled it right) was my server and he did a phenomenal job explaining the concept of the place and details of the menu. I ordered the calamari for a starter and it was to die for! For my main, I opted for the seabass which was grilled to perfection. I will definitely be back to this place while I’m here in Abu Dhabi.

Tamba is playing all ryt notes when it comes too Fusion Indian Cuisine, Ambience and Be spoke service...A must try if you want to be pampered with a gastronomic twist of modern Indian cuisine...Tuna salad, Good old Chilli chicken and they got some crazy coolers as well...Good music and calm ambience...

I have been here so many times and it has been great. But lastly we went for tamba Bollywood night on Friday night. And there is door policy, if entering after 11pm, 100 dhs per person is entrance fees.but we reached before 11, they made us wait outside for 15 min, and after 11, they told we can enter and we have to pay 100 dhs, this is not expected and not fair, And person over at desk, was talking to rudely to me and my friends. Not happy at all

Nice place, good ambience and good location within the WTC mall in city. Food is awesome however the portions are pretty small. The service is not up to the mark and that’s the only drawback I could find. Otherwise all in all a fantastic place.

Have been to Tamba for drinks quite often but got really bad experience with their restaurant manager Saleh when we ate there the first time.<br/><br/>I had dinner and drinks in Tamba with a friend. When we were paying, I planned to use the Entertainer voucher of house beverage for the two wines we ordered. After the waiter redeemed my voucher, he came back saying we couldn’t use it because our wine price was more than the ‘estimated price’ written on Entertainer. I knew it was a pure lie because I had Entertainer for two years and I tried to explain what was written on Entertainer was ‘estimated price’ rather than ‘maximum price’. I got the manager Saleh to come and he insisted. We agreed to pay under the condition that he wrote down the reason he rejected my Entertainer so I could complain to Entertainer or management team of Tamba. Manager Saleh told me he was the manager of the restaurant and implied I had no one I could talk to while also said he wouldn’t write anything. I asked him to bring the menu again and show me what would be included in the voucher, ironically no wine is included according to his rule (Entertainer voucher claimed the estimated saving as 38 dirham while the cheapest wine on the list was 42 dirham). He was embarrassed and changed his rule saying if I ordered the 42 dirham one, he could just make it work for me, I laughed. After spending 300 dirham in a fine dining restaurant, we had to argue for 20 minutes, it is definitely not the experience you want for a weekend evening.
Khalid
The food is very nice, ambiance is ok ( was kind of dark for me, but not disturbing).<br/><br/>We could go higher in rating to 5 stars if not experienced some weird situation with one of the waiters who tried to move us elsewhere because he wanted to keep the spot we were seated for other clients, that was rude and we didn’t like it, but we turned him down politely.
Aarina2411
We went to Tamba to celebrate a special occasion and had booked a table in advance. We had also informed the staff about the celebration. We were there for lunch and opted for the business lunch. The food was very appetizing. We were not big fans of the pumpkin paratha but I think that is more dependent on the individual palate. The chaaat was lovely and the chicken tikka and mushroom tikka were spot on. However we did find the service a bit dry. They did not attempt to acknowledge the birthday or to add any special gesture which most premium restaurants would do. our non alcoholic drink was also not very impressive. Full marks to the chef for the food.
Komal Gehani
Tamba is a great place for special evenings! They have that high a rating for a good reason. <br/>I absolutely love their Tamba concoctions - pretty interesting options in there for those who drink. Also on Zomato gold for 2+2 on drinks which make it more worthwhile!;)<br/>Coming to food, it’s truly amazing. Have tried many things on their menu and never disliked any item, the menu has some very wierd to very interesting combination of stuff but ended with great taste. <br/>Food Presentation - 5/5<br/>Food Taste - 4.5/5<br/>Ambience - 5/5<br/>Staff and service - 4.5/5<br/><br/>Yes are are steeply priced but like I started by saying it’s a good option for occasions, parties, weekend spendings!
Anand
I tried the business lunch at Tamba and was very impressed with variety, quantity and quality of food based on the aggressive pricing they have kept. The taste and the presentation of the plate was immaculate and staff as always helped us with recommendations. Its definitely worth a try. By the way we ordered the veg and non veg business lunch. In veg we had the option of paneer or mushroom tikka along with dal makhani and biryani aling with roti and i chose paneer which was soft and tasty. In non veg chicken was chosen instead of Lamb. However, chicken can be improved for better taste. Overall, i give 5 out of 5!!!

One of my favourite places to when in Abu Dhabi, spot on ambiance, splendid vibes and amazing food. The terrace view is absolutely stunning. A place perfect for dates and casual dinners. Tried something different here, crab pani puri with flavoured foam. Pretty interesting. If you are experimental with your palettes then make sure you try it out
AbyK@foodie
i was in tamba last night and no body informed me of ongoing ladies night and four complimentary drinks and we continued buying our drinks. When we asked for it, they just mentioned SORRY. I am shocked, if you have a promotion then why arent you telling us when we are dining in. Either you dont want us to avail promotion on drinks and pay for the same. I WAS FEELING CHEATED THERE :(

If you're looking to be sated, well you're in for a surprise, and not the good kinds, either. The food servings are minuscule. Which is pretty unlike the prices. Not in the least bit worth it. Indian food is meant to be generous, flavourful and varied. Tamba misses on all these check boxes by a mile and a half. Have dinner before you go. Carry your bank balance.<br/>And bring a torch.<br/>On the plus side, the service is good. Bit difficult for them to peddle a menu which is so uninspired. For food supposedly from the most complex and varied of cuisines, there is hardly any choice.

I visited Tamba today and had reserved a table for 2 over the phone since it was busy due to iftar. They had a 10 course menu for iftar that was really too much so we decided to order from the AlaCarte. We decided on the Chicken Tikka and Lamb Kebab for starters. The chicken tikka was served on a tray and was a very classic recipe but i suggest they smoke it next time. The Lamb kabab came together with dry chips and a pita type bread that could be eaten like a sandwich since they had already cut it into two for us.<br/><br/>For our drinks, our server suggested we have the Jagger JamPot which was a Guava drink combined with flavorful masalas and the other drink i ordered was Dragon Flower. This smelled like rose, tastes like lime and fruit and i can promise, ive never had something so refreshing ever- not even tea!! Great options!!<br/><br/>Next for the main course, we decided to order the Smoked chicken in tomato gravy and along with that a bag of roti (contained Daal roti, Pineapple Roti and Kashmiri naan) which was very flavourful but one bag of roti is just sufficient for one person. Here, I recommend they work on increasing quantity for roti especially because one bag is good for only one person.<br/><br/>Finally to end the night, we ordered the very classic Mumtaz and the BreakUp that was served only on my request with a smoke setting. Just Fabulous.. Both desserts were out of the world and I was craving for more even though i was full by this time..<br/><br/>Our server was Mohammad, a charming guy from Africa who helped us choose our dishes, prepared the dessert platter just for me, chatted the night away and even explained the meals to me.. Great Charming Chap!!!<br/><br/>I will come back for sure.. Love the food, Love the ambience, Love the vibes!! You rock Tamba!!

My husband and I had gone to Tamba two days ago to celebrate my birthday and wedding anniversary. Tamba has the perfect ambience, beautiful decor, fantastic staff and most importantly delicious food which left us craving for more. <br/><br/>We ordered 2 cocktails as per our server’s recommendation and they turned out to be awesome.<br/><br/>For starters we ordered Root Veg chips and quinoa corn bhajia - Absolutely crispy with perfect blend of flavours.<br/><br/>For main course we ordered paneer makhani and the choice of three breads (Daal Roti, Kashmiri naan, Pineapple paratha) which was tastefully cooked. <br/><br/>We saved the best for the last. The heavenly chocolaty dessert - “THE BREAK UP”. Its a dark chocolate mousse with peanut semifreddo and chocolate fudge sauce. The presentation and taste both were exceptional. Highly recommended. <br/><br/>Overall a great experience and we could not have asked for a better place to spend our special day. Thanks Tamba 😊

The ambiance was too good..light music... beautiful dim light romantic setup...but Indian veg food was horrible..and specially what's with this 3 slices in panner Tikka starter for dhs 40?? 🙄 And biryani should be called Baby Biryani which fills only half stomach

Awesome food with amazing peoples around, loved it.<br/><br/>My attraction was lamb chops, N it was more than expectations,<br/><br/>Also other food had there was again brilliantly awesome,<br/><br/>Chicken 65 , a standard indian starter, with a very innovative sauce n crunchyness,<br/><br/>And also cant forget the pronse curry had with rice, 😋😋😋

Nice place and ambience. No kids after 845 pm. My first time having drinks with South Indian curry flavours 😂.<br/>The Indian staff are very nice and polite, but other nationality staff seemed quite aloof. 10% Service charges for the hit or miss level of staff quality is a bit of a surprise.

Excellent outdoor terrace and their sundowner after brunch package is a winner especially in the winter months.<br/><br/>Their service is always exceptional and I can't wait to experience their full dinner menu. Especially after trying their delectable bites.

Before I visited Tamba I had high expectations of this place, I was really disappointed by the poor service and unpleasant attitude of the staffs. We booked the table in advance however we were told that only few tables are available far from the DJ area. Tamba is not worth the spend. Not recomendable especially for Indians. I may say please double check the bills before you pay.

Last night have been there , lovely ambience , General Manager was quite nice, other staffs attitude can be a bit more friendly as they are not interested to serve. Try to use Zomato gold but did not get the benefits like other bars, ordered couple of drinks and again 2 more finally got charged for 3 with disappointed excuses from them. Not worth the spend

Hi guys. The only reason for giving me this rating is coz of its place n decor. The restaurant has taken its guest for granted of over charging them. I had ordered for chicken tikka and lamb biriyani, the taste and flavor was good. But me n my wife were suppried by its portion size. The chicken tikka was 3pieces and wasn't even 200grms with no dips and only a lemon weges and chill slice, lamb biriyani was another disspointment of portion being not enough for a kid. I have come across to many fine dinning Indian restaurants but this was absolutely a disheartening and disappointing place with the way how they are justifying Indian cuisine with its generosity of displaying food. The management needs to really think of not only earning money but also look for a overall value for the guest pocket so one could recommend the place to others. Specifically with their food offering and portioning. People don't mind spending money on a good value and place is justified. But last night was a totally a disspointment evening. I would like to see the brand look into this as the current market situation where it's a very competitive places around.

Liked the food and ambience. Felt a little over priced. The service was good. Personally, I felt that the veg options were little less compared to non-veg ones

Excellent food, portions are not large but enough to fill your stomach. The taste is very fine especially the use of spices... Drinks are rather pricey but atmosphere is very elegant. Staff are just excellent with service and recommendations.

Disappointed by the entry restrictions. They needed id/ passport. Can understand for the bar but even rooftop the bouncers needed an id. I had mine but my wife was not carrying hers. Come on

We went to Tamba with good hopes to have good taste and experience. Unfortunately, we had not a good experience. First of all even though, we were seating indoor mosquito trouble was a shocking experience at such gourmet food restaurant! We being pure vegetarian we had very limited options and choice in the menu! We took help from the restaurant staff to select our meal. It took a considerably long time to serve and food quality was not enough too. Finally, we felt that we had supper and not dinner. So we had to move to another option in WTC Food Court from such high profile restaurant. Later we took opinion from our friends too and got a similar unsatisfied opinion from them!

Disappointed by the entry restrictions. They needed id/ passport. Can understand for the bar but even rooftop the bouncers needed an id. I had mine but my wife was not carrying hers. Come on! A casual night eat out requires so much fuss!<br/><br/>29th June<br/><br/>Finally gained entry as we came in day time.<br/><br/>Understandably this is bar oriented place. Ambience is good spinning around Tamba theme<br/><br/>We tried a starter n main course Delhi bite was chat based dish with on the table mixing and added effect by pouring liquid nitrogen.<br/><br/>Crisoy Okra in lababdar sauce was good though also required mixing on the table.<br/><br/>Bread basket was good but bite size rotis..... Pub food? But main course wee bit small.<br/><br/>Food taste was good. Mocktails were good but sadly they did not allow Zomato Gold offer.<br/><br/>Servers can do with smiles I guess.<br/><br/>Presentation is best. Taste is good. Best suited for evening visits with bar.

I went there without any expectation even though the rating was good. The food was amazing even though it’s bit pricey. Being a vegetarian my options are very limited . I had ordered paneer tikka and salad both were super delicious . The ambience was awesome and a must visit.<br/>

Great place for drinks outdoors. The mood of the place is laid back and elegant. The servers were beyond helpful and the touch of having a live DJ was a cherry on top of a beautiful night.

A very calm and romantic ambience. The mutton rogan josh is to die for.<br/><br/>Cocktails are so ambitious and daring that they make their point. Gaurantee that Anarkali will have you coming back.

Best place for a perfect date night. Service was super starting from the point where we stepped in. My wife was happy with the cocktails they provided and the staff was super friendly . Food was super delicious.

I had been to Tamba for a family lunch on a Friday. It is advisable to do a table booking . The interiors are beautiful and staff is very courteous and kind . They also have outside seating available with a view of the city . They have a set menu option and a la carte option to decide on what to eat . We opted for the set menu option . The set menu consists of a selection of the dishes at Tamba, to get the complete experience of Tamba . The set menu consists of Bites , mains and desserts. We started our Tamba culinary experience with some of the appetizing bites and mains that were served . They were a mix of veg and non veg dishes <br/>Bites & Mains <br/>1. Root veg chips with Chutney <br/>2. Delhi Mix : A smokey quinoa mess . The presentation was smokey and the taste was delicious <br/>3. A Watermelon, argula , tomato chutney and Cheese snow salad : A very unique salad that I have tried combined with some interesting ingredients <br/>4. Chicken 65 : A classic Chicken starter with a twist that’s what I can say about this dish 🤤.<br/>5. Mini Babaghanoush Buns : A plate of some warm buns stuffed with Babaghanoush <br/>6. Polenta Upma : Upma stuffed bites topped with classic South Indian flavored chutneys and a rava crisp . The presentation was enticing. The dish was delectable. <br/>7. Smoked Chicken in tomato gravy with black pepper burrata : This particular dish didn’t excite me much as it tasted like a regular butter chicken . <br/>8. Dum Chicken biryani : The biryani was delicious and quantity was enough for 2 persons . <br/>Desserts <br/>There were some interesting desserts on the menu that were served <br/>1. Sticky Situation: A caramelized banana toffee cake topped with gold flakes and served with Pecan nut praline and cardamom ice cream. This was a yummmmm cake especially alongside the flavorful ice cream .<br/><br/>2. The Bride: A very unusual name for a dessert. This dessert is Chilli meringue with chantily ice cream , raw mango and Coconut Sorbet. I loved the burst of flavors as soon as you dig in to take the first bite <br/><br/>3. The Indecent proposal: This dessert was the highlight of all desserts served with a smoke filled presentation. I unfortunately cannot recall the ingredients in this dessert , the only ingredients I can recall for this dessert is raspberry sorbet and rose petals . Wow this dish was beautifully presented by the staff at Tamba and it tasted delicious. <br/>I wanted to thank our server Raji and the staff of Tamba for making us feel hospitable . This place is on the pricey side for sure but it is definitely worth every dirham spent . I would recommend this place if you want to have some great food with the best presentation on hand .

The dishes we tasted were good, but are overpriced and the quantity of food served doesn't justify the high price. When we entered the restaurant there was no one to assist us with our seating and after our dinner we weren't served with any wipes to clean our hands. Therefore better customer service needs to be taken into account.

A place with a very different and amazing concept as the name means copper the whole place has been reflected , must visit once at least as their fusion food is a must to try , they have combination of spices from everywhere. Price wise a little expensive but it’s good and different.

Had an incredible brunch experience at Tamba today! The lamb chops were brilliant as usual and the highlight of the meal. <br/><br/>Quality and consistency continue to set Tamba apart. Nice time of the year to sit outside and enjoy their lazzzy lunch. <br/><br/>For 195dhs this has to be one of the better brunch deals in town.

We went there for my husband’s birthday. It was one of the most memorable dinners we had. The food was amazing. Staffs were very attentive and paid attention to details. Jared was attending us and recommending food with knowledge and passion. Lamb chop is a must-try. One of the best lamb chop I’ve ever had. We’ll definitely go back again.
