المطعم نظيف و جلساته الخارجية جميلة خاصة وقت الغروب ، مطلة على شاطئ البحر ، يوجد دفايات ، اختيارات الاسماك متنوعة ، والخضروات ،المقبلات ، تختار طريقة الطبخ لها ، اللبس رسمي ما يصلح لبس البحر ، موقعه جنب مسابح وشاطئ فندق الانتر (كما في الصورة) فهو اختيار جيد لما بعد نهار تقضيه بسن البحر و المسابح 👌🏼

زيارتنا كانت غداء . طلباتنا : ٤ شوربه ثمار بحر - سمكه هامور مشوي - روبيان (مقلي ومشوي ١٥ قطعه ) - فيليه ( مقلي ومشوي اربع قطع ) - ارز ابيض مع خضار(٣) - محار(٤ قطع). المطعم لا يمت للطعم البحري بصله ! نعم هناك الأسماك ومشتقاتها لكن معدين الأكل لم يكونو موفقين أبداً .. الشوربه بلاطعم عبارة عن ماء مع ثمار بحر! هامور مشوي نكهة وطعم سيء جداً ، روبيان مقلي لابأس به .. روبيان مشوي مخيب للآمال .. فيليه مشوي ومقلي لايرتقي بالمأمول. الطاقم ودودين وتعاملهم طيب . يمنع لبس الشورت بالداخل(ملابس شواطئ) رغم قربة من البحر. الأسعار مقارنة بالأكل مخيبه جدا .. الحساب تقريباً مع معرفتي بالفاتوره مسبقاً (١٩٨٠ درهم). لا أكرر الزياره..

عندما دخلنا المطعم لم يكن هناك مضيف لمساعدتنا للجلوس..وعندما جلسنا عالطاولة لم يسألنا النادل اذا كنا نريد طلب عصير او ماء استعجلنا لاختيار الأسماك.. وعندما قدموا الأطباق لم يسألنا اذا كنا نريد اي شي او اضافة اي شي اختفى ببساطة !! وعند انتهاءانا من العشاء انتظرنا اي نادل يسألنا اذا انتهينا او نحتاج الفاتورة او حلى .. قمنا إلى المحاسبة وانتظرنا لدفع الفاتورة مايقارب النصف ساعة !! فالماضي كان هذا مطعمنا المفضل لأكثر من ٢٠ عاما .. آخر مرة أذهب لهذا المطعم السئ... خسارة ان نفقد مطعم متميز كهذا في أبوظبي للاسف

المكان جميل وهادئ ونظيف ، المؤكولات البحرية لذيذة خاصةً الربيان المشوي بالصلصة الخاصة بالمطعم، الموظفين والعاملين في المطعم مرتبين وخدمتهم جداً راقية، انا زرت المكان فوق الاربعة زيارات في اشهر مختلفة ولكن عندي ملاحظة واحده فقط بشان طعم الصلصة تختلف عند كل مره ازور فيها المطعم.

من أقدم المطاعم في امارة أبوظبي...الموضوع بسيط تختار الروبيان والاسماك الي تحبها مع الخضروات الفريش...يجهزونها لك وبالعافية...الاسعار نوعا ما مرتفعة...

المكان هادي و حلو مافيه ريحه اكل و الاكل فررررش و نظيف مافيه ريحه عندهم خصم فزعه ممتاز بس عيبهم الوحيد هو التأخير في التقديم

If you go here, you must have the fridge calamari with the lemon butter, I would give this place a 3.5. The price is very high for what you get but it's an old restaurant in abu dhabi and has a good customer base. I love the idea of picking your own fish. The salad and desert was unimpressive...the soup is a must try. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

I been invited for business lunch at Fishmarket and really the food were amazing, the lobster was melting, We gone through 4 courses (Grilled and fried of different types of sea food) and each of them were delicious. i really enjoyed it. The location was nice and cosy. I really recommend this restaurant for business lunch or dinner if you want to impress your guest.

We have been as we were staying in intercontinental, cozy ambiance though it was busy that day and food was serviced a bit late overall we enjoyed the place food quality top notch

Always the best place for a seafood night. <br/>All sorts of fresh fish and seafoods available to cook in different ways of your choice with the choosing of the sauces and side dishes as well. Lobster Thermidor is what i loved best, the grilled shrimps is good as well and the shrimps with lemon butter sauce

High quality fresh tiger and jumbo prawns...fresh daily fishes served with nice sauces..Kamal guided us and we had a nice tour around the round table full with fresh fish before eating...I highly recommend this great atmoshphere and worth to go for fish lovers..

The concept of fishmarket is that you select your fresh fish and that it’s cooked to order based on Thai way of cooking.<br/>Overall we were pleased with the delivery. Taste of out fish with Red Thai curry and mixed seafood was good. I would have wished that the fish was deboned more properly. I also would have wished that the seafood rice, which was quite expensive, had more than a token seafood piece here and there. <br/>Our major gripe was with the service which we found unwelcoming and a slight bit arrogant. It also does not sit well at all with me personally if the waiter pompously declares that due to us having no reservation there are no seats available in the non smoking area and seating us next to a heavily cigar smoking table, only to see at departure 90 min later that there are plenty of seats available in non smoking. matters were made worse by the fact that outdoor seating was not made available in November which my partner (who works in hotel F&b) attributed to staff being too lazy. this coupled with very slow service of course meant “no tips” and probably will mean “no return”. This is Abu Dhabi and not some remote village so we don’t need to expose ourselves to that treatment!

First you take a basket and go to their mini market where you will find some sorts of live seafood....tiger prawns, fish, lobster, big squids and shellfish. They serve freshly cooked sea foods according to your preference at reasonable price. "ituro mo, iluluto nila". The serving time of the food is still tolerable at 15 to 20 minutes waiting time. <br/><br/>This is the kind of restaurant where people are just comfortable to eat great food. No fancy suites. Amazing food, exceptional Service<br/>Yesterday my girlfriend and I checked in at the Intercontinental and went straight for a tour around the restaurants, while all looked great we couldn't finished it and had dinner at the fish market. At first we just wanted to have starters but the team convinced us with a grandparentslike and honest friendliness for the better. We had kingfish lovly medium rare tuna and the true hero grilled juicy clams. Everything to our very liking with some Thai style sauces and vegetables on the side plus fried rice (I am very sorry we barely touched) and Phat Thai. The 2h Dinner has been a great welcome to Abu Dhabi. Though we have been to several TripAdvisor top rated 5 star and boutique hotels in Thailand, Indonesia, Africa, Europe ,... this place really impressed me. I am a 29year old german Dentist who loves Thai and French cuisine in tohe St. Maxime( La Reserve)/ St. Tropez area worked as a function waiter at the Sydney opera house back in the days. Having the staff enjoying you enjoying the food drinks and the whole dinner, though it should be a given in the hospitality branch, is exceptional and we are so happy to have felt that yesterday. Not only to Camal but not to leave him unmentioned, thank you for your great joy, and friendliness.

Fish market is one of the best place to have fish in Abu Dhabi .<br/>We had one of the best lunch, staff are welcoming you can choose your ingredients for the salad and the side dish. <br/>Choosing between the wide variety of fish was a bit hard, we wanted to try most of the fish.<br/>We had Sultan Ibrahim, sea bass, prawns, scallops, and squid.<br/>Salad was very tasty, fish was very good and on time.<br/>It's recommended as fish place .<br/>

Overrated... unfortunately I can't say I was impressed. Stuff was very inattentive.. we got the complimentary fish fingers, before our drinks. No introduction given of how it works, as we where still waiting for the menu for about 20min after we got our drinks. Until we decided to ask for it. Was then we where told to just get up and pick our fish and seafood. Restaurant at that time had only 2 tables, us one of them. Once our food was ready it came on a trolley with the salad that belonged to next table. Instead of serving our hot meals first. The waitress offered the salad to the table next to us, who started asking questions and ordering food wile we are watching ours been there on the trolley getting cold and other ppl walking by and pointing at it. Once she was finished with the table next to us she walked up to some new guests that had just arrived. Not so profesional. Even the food and beverage manager passed by our food trolley several times with out even realizing that food has been there for a wile. Once we got our food. Nothing was really up to what we had ordered. Rice was plain. And we ordered with vegetables. Prawns where unseasoned, we specified more then once we wanted them really spicy. From the two calamares we had picked there where only 4 rings on my plate and 5 on my partners... where did the rest go?! No one passed by our table to ensure everything was fine. Our plates where full of shells and fish bones, no place for the side dishes.. no napkins nor hot towels offered after meal. Had to take napkins from the table beside us. Not really what I would had expected with an "empty" restaurant. On the floor a fork under a table, a tooth pick under next one and some food left over on the aisle between tables. Food was mediocre, service very poor, price overrated. Nothing I can recommend. Disappointing.

If I could give -Stars, I won't hesitate as they deserve it. One of the worst dining experience where customers are treated according to the colour of the skin. For DHS 385 for 2 we got a few pieces of fish, calamari, 2 Prawns & 5 scallops which were grilled with no spices, salt or flavours. The Thai Fried Rice was as bland as normal steam rice even though we called the waiter back to remind to inform the Chef to make it spicy.<br/><br/>Go there only if you want to shell out hundreds of DHS, treated indifferently particularly by the Indian Manager who has absolutely no clue about Customer Service & come back hugely disappointed. <br/><br/>We had 2 such portions as in the pic below for DHS 385 & not worth the price they are charging. Stay away from this place. <br/><br/>This Restaurant should be shut down & the so-called Chefs & Staff should be deported back to wherever they came from. It's a disgrace to such a beautiful city as Abu Dhabi

Great concept. Good food. Good taste. Quick on service. And helpful. <br/>Choose your fish, choose your vegetables and choose ur curry Base. They'll prepare it the way you want it

Interesting concept! I liked the whole vibe of the Restaurant. Interactive staff. <br/>I had tiger prawns and red sniper for appetizers and main course. Well done preparation! Soft and tender, well cooked!

Delicious food, good stuff but the layout is a bit too old. The way you choose you food makes the experience better. The best dish here is the lobster, its a must try. If you are looking for a good seafood restaurant then you should try the fish market.

The most amazing place to have sea food...Great ambience friendly staff...great fresh selection of fish. customized to preference... This the place where i started eating and enjoying the sea food for the first time ever in my life...5/5

Food - great and succulent, the sauce was mixed up between mine and my hubby's but both main was scrumptious so it didnt bother me at all. <br/><br/>Ambience - inviting and amusing. <br/><br/>Staff - they were helpful and attentive.<br/><br/>Price - Just be mindful on what you will be putting in your basket so you wont be surprise at how much you pay when u see the check 😉. This was the most expensive dinner we had with my husband ever (mind you we didnt order any bottle of wine). <br/><br/>Despite the price damage, it was all worth it. We loved it and we'll def come back.

Absolutely delicious, the fish selection was great..everything we ordered was cooked to perfection. The location is ideal, great views just all around wonderful experience.

If you like seafood and you feel of the smell of it,, just visit fish market next to the intercontinental abudhabi. Choose whatever you like and the will cook it for you immediately ❤️❤️,, not that expensive but you need to understand that it is not cheap as well.

I like the formula fresh-fish-to chose-from-raw-to-be-cooked cause gives you the real perception of what you are going to eat. If the fish is fresh and good quality you even add a plus to the experience and if the cooking process (with a thai touch) gives a tasty result, the whole dining experience is a success! This place matches all those points (at a fair price), moreover the location on the beach and a good service make this restaurant a very good spot both for lunch (when you can indulge the sun if staying outside in the good season) and for (eventually romantic) dinner.

After deciding to go to every other restaurant other than Fishmarket, we ended up in Fishmarket!.... which wasn't such a bad idea as we love seafood. It wasn't our first visit here so we knew exactly how it worked.<br/>For those of you who are unaware, everything here happens in 3 steps : 1) Choose you fish, 2) Choose your style of cooking, 3) Choose your sauce.<br/>We chose Grilled prawns in ginger garlic sauce, fried squid with lemon butter sauce. sauteed scallops in oyster sauce and steamed mussels in Thai red curry sauce. With every dish, you also get a fried rice/noodles of your choice. We chose seafood fried rice.<br/>This time we chose to sit near the window so that we could get a beautiful view of the sea. Before all the food arrived they gave a a complimentary basket of fried fish.<br/>The food arrived all at once and there wasn't enough cutlery on our table. We had to struggle to get a server to get them. My favourite was the grilled prawns and mussels. The cooking style and the sauces were a perfect match. I didn't like the squid as it had this thick coating over it. The scallops weren't too bad either, however it had a slight coating as well. I felt that we should have just opted for grilled seafood so that we could actually feel the taste of the fish.<br/>Seafood lovers will love this place. There's plenty of fish to choose from and prices are by weight. Will definitely return.

Can't go wrong by coming to this place for good seafood and Thai cuisine. Location and seating area is amazing. Interior of the place might look old but I love the fresh seafood that you pick yourself. From the tiger prawns, Omani lobster and grilled sea bass it's all good in this place.

Good location excellent sea food restaurant. It's good experience to shop for what you want. Be carful don't Oder too much food. I would recommend small portion of each.

We visited the fishmarket restaurant yesterday for dinner. This was our first visit to their place.<br/><br/>Our arrival experience was awkward, because the moment we entered the restaurant we couldn't spot a waiter to greet us and designate a table for us. All we could see the cookers who were busy making food; we were wandering there for a while until one of the cookers hurried to get some one to help us.<br/><br/>Also; since this was our first visit we were not aware of the system to place our order, and staff didn't explain to us that we shall choose our order from the display, so we wasted about 7 minutes on the table expecting to get a menu, until we figured out how it suppose to be when we saw other customers escorted for placing their order.<br/><br/>Other than the strange experience mentioned above, every thing went well after that. The food was cooked nice and the ambience was good.<br/><br/>Personally, I could rate the place 4/5, however, I took 0.5 point because the first impression always counts.<br/>

The location is perfect, the food is fresh and delicious and great service. <br/>Definitely not a place to frequent regularly as I found it a little pricey but you get what you pay for so definitely one not to miss

One of the best place to eat fresh fish & seafood in Abudhabi. Distinguished with a big variety of fresh fish & vegetables. The food is well prepared & so tasty at the same time, but i was chocked by the poor service that didn't Match a five star restaurant. I asked for a knife for my self & another one for my guest, the waiter's reply:"he didn't ask for one!". We missed on the veggies, they arrived when we were already done!<br/>One big thumbs - down is the coocking smell was so strong, and No Ac!!!<br/>The Turbot fish & tai style Hamour & the buttered Calamari is highly recommended, also the vegetables with oyster sauce is delicious.

If you are looking for fresh fish cooked nicely, there is the place to go...The Chefs are quite good and we really enjoy going there, but we haven't be back for a while, as we have tried most combinations are to be truly honest, this place need a revamp, something to excite the regulars !!!To the owner : A over the top seafood platter to share between 4/5 with the finest oysters, blue lobster, Alaska King crab legs, dive caught only sea scallops... Man the option are endless... with endless selection of dipping sauce and I forgot baked oysters 10 ways degustation platter... A La Provençale King prawns... Stop it now Flat. For all seafood lovers a paradise to be..me and my brother from Amsterdam had strong craving for seafood after a long day of travelling, swimming, sun bathing.<br/>I googled the best seafood restaurants in Abu Dhabi and found fishmarket, trust me it is worth going there once in lifetime. i must say best seafood in town with a history of over 35 years. <br/>We had fried shrimps for starters, king fish and salmon in lemon and garlic sauce with shrimps and squids soup along with mussels in lemon butter sauce.<br/>For the main course we had homour in red spicy sauce along with steamed rice. White wine goes great along with seafood. <br/>Overall its pretty costly.<br/>Do not try or dare for any desert they are pathetic.<br/>Service is little lousy. Taste is great. Ambiance is such that it may increase your appetite.

We went yesterday ..to be honest, it was a very very very dissappointing experience. the restuarant is smelly .. the dishes were not clean.. no variety of salads .. the selected sauses were tastless, the king prowns were avarage and the mushroom cheese sause tasted like a bashamel sause .. if i had a chance i would not go to this place again ..!!!

Old school abu dhabi restaurant that offers seafood chosen from a market style counter. You have several cooking methods to choose from, all thai inspired. Their calamari in lemon butter sauce is excellent, as is fried hamour in red curry.<br/>Always an indulgent experience. Seafood is always fresh.

Really nice place to go for the variety of seafood and the unique dining experience of choosing your fish from the market set up, how you want to be cooked, and your favorite sauce! I had the fried hammour with sweet chili sauce served with noodles. It was totally a drool worthy dish. The freshly fried fish that was served at the start is quite good too..Expensive but definitely worth a try though they should consider refurbishing the ambience up a notch.

There are also many ways you can have your fish cooked, be it grilled, fried or in a curry! The host/hostess is sure to ask you of your requirements including the sauce and flavouring it is cooked it whether it is butter, garlic, or all kinds of spicy! <br/>After the seafood selection is complete, there is an endless amount of vegetable that is on display too. Having the fresh produce on display in front of your eyes, who could say no to veggies? All kinds imaginable, the host/hostess continues to place in the basket all the vegetable of your choosing and can be cooked again, in whatever way you like! Stir-fried in garlic-oyster sauce is a personal favorite. <br/>After the deliciously stuffing seafood and veggie delights, dessert is always welcome! <br/>They have a selection of desserts including fresh fruit, but the sorbet is definitely a must have. A light, refreshing, sweet aftertaste is just what hits the spot after being stuffed with so much seafood!<br/>Perfect restaurant for a small group and for an occasion considering the price, but definitely an experience everyone should have!

Place is very nice, specially outside, but lights are not adequate to see what you are eating, specially if you eat fish, which you need to see the spikes. <br/>Sauces are great, fried items are better than grilled, i didn't taste any grilling flavor.<br/>Overall, it was nice experience, but not the kind of restaurant that you can go to more than once, unless you want to impress someone.

Cozy and comfy<br/>Complimentary fish chips are to die for! You shop they cook. Chef is thai. They cook limited varieties though but would be fine for us. <br/>What you pay for is worth it.

Been around a very long time. Good, reliable seafood. Not a 5, but probably a 4. Worth a visit if you like seafood. Prices are reasonable too.

Seafood here is served in a different way , the restaurant is arranged like a fish market hence the name "fishmarket" , here you select the seafod of your choice from the wide variety of seafod on display ,If you desire a pleasant host/hostess accompanies you and guides you through the selection, their recommendation surely helps, especially if you are are first timer at the restaurant. The fish here is sold by the weight, price per kg is clearly displayed, you can also select the choice of the sauce and the way you want it prepared. The preparation is Thai , Good choice of wines to go with the seafood. The food served is excellent my favourite food in the restaurant is the fish(hamour) in hot sweet and sour sauce and thai noodles. The restaurant also serves batter fried fish complimentary while you wait for your food which is great. One can expect a sizable bill at the end of your meal , but it is worth it , cosidering the food quality, location and ambience. I strongly recommended to have prior reservation to avoid disappointment.
