If you go here, you must have the fridge calamari with the lemon butter, I would give this place a 3.5. The price is very high for what you get but it's an old restaurant in abu dhabi and has a good customer base. I love the idea of picking your own fish. The salad and desert was unimpressive...the soup is a must try. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
I been invited for business lunch at Fishmarket and really the food were amazing, the lobster was melting, We gone through 4 courses (Grilled and fried of different types of sea food) and each of them were delicious. i really enjoyed it. The location was nice and cosy. I really recommend this restaurant for business lunch or dinner if you want to impress your guest.
We have been as we were staying in intercontinental, cozy ambiance though it was busy that day and food was serviced a bit late overall we enjoyed the place food quality top notch

All sorts of fresh fish and seafoods available to cook in different ways of your choice with the choosing of the sauces and side dishes as well. Lobster Thermidor is what i loved best, the grilled shrimps is good as well and the shrimps with lemon butter sauce

High quality fresh tiger and jumbo prawns...fresh daily fishes served with nice sauces..Kamal guided us and we had a nice tour around the round table full with fresh fish before eating...I highly recommend this great atmoshphere and worth to go for fish lovers..
First you take a basket and go to their mini market where you will find some sorts of live seafood....tiger prawns, fish, lobster, big squids and shellfish. They serve freshly cooked sea foods according to your preference at reasonable price. "ituro mo, iluluto nila". The serving time of the food is still tolerable at 15 to 20 minutes waiting time.
This is the kind of restaurant where people are just comfortable to eat great food. No fancy suites. Just hunk down and gobble up. I love the family ambiance and the great food.

Amazing food, exceptional Service
Yesterday my girlfriend and I checked in at the Intercontinental and went straight for a tour around the restaurants, while all looked great we couldn't finished it and had dinner at the fish market. At first we just wanted to have starters but the team convinced us with a grandparentslike and honest friendliness for the better. We had kingfish lovly medium rare tuna and the true hero grilled juicy clams. Everything to our very liking with some Thai style sauces and vegetables on the side plus fried rice (I am very sorry we barely touched) and Phat Thai. The 2h Dinner has been a great welcome to Abu Dhabi. Though we have been to several TripAdvisor top rated 5 star and boutique hotels in Thailand, Indonesia, Africa, Europe ,... this place really impressed me. I am a 29year old german Dentist who loves Thai and French cuisine in tohe St. Maxime( La Reserve)/ St. Tropez area worked as a function waiter at the Sydney opera house back in the days. Having the staff enjoying you enjoying the food drinks and the whole dinner, though it should be a given in the hospitality branch, is exceptional and we are so happy to have felt that yesterday. Not only to Camal but not to leave him unmentioned, thank you for your great joy, and friendliness.
Fish market is one of the best place to have fish in Abu Dhabi .
We had one of the best lunch, staff are welcoming you can choose your ingredients for the salad and the side dish.
Choosing between the wide variety of fish was a bit hard, we wanted to try most of the fish.
We had Sultan Ibrahim, sea bass, prawns, scallops, and squid.
Salad was very tasty, fish was very good and on time.
It's recommended as fish place .
المطعم نظيف و جلساته الخارجية جميلة خاصة وقت الغروب ، مطلة على شاطئ البحر ، يوجد دفايات ، اختيارات الاسماك متنوعة ، والخضروات ،المقبلات ، تختار طريقة الطبخ لها ، اللبس رسمي ما يصلح لبس البحر ، موقعه جنب مسابح وشاطئ فندق الانتر (كما في الصورة) فهو اختيار جيد لما بعد نهار تقضيه بسن البحر و المسابح 👌🏼

المكان جميل وهادئ ونظيف ، المؤكولات البحرية لذيذة خاصةً الربيان المشوي بالصلصة الخاصة بالمطعم، الموظفين والعاملين في المطعم مرتبين وخدمتهم جداً راقية، انا زرت المكان فوق الاربعة زيارات في اشهر مختلفة ولكن عندي ملاحظة واحده فقط بشان طعم الصلصة تختلف عند كل مره ازور فيها المطعم.
المكان هادي و حلو مافيه ريحه اكل و الاكل فررررش و نظيف مافيه ريحه عندهم خصم فزعه ممتاز بس عيبهم الوحيد هو التأخير في التقديم
